Abstract

ABSTRAKFungi mikoriza arbuskula (FMA) sangat berperan dalam memacu pertumbuhan hijauan tanaman pakan ternak. Hijauan tanaman pakan khususnya rumput dan leguminosa.  FMA telah banyak diteliti dan teridentifikasi berbagai jenisnya pada rizhosfer tanaman leguminosa jenis pohon. Jenis FMA belum diketahui pada tanaman hijauan pakan ternak khususnya rumput gajah yang tumbuh di Sulawesi Tenggara, oleh karena itu sangatlah penting dilakukan penelitian mengenai identifikasi FMA pada tanaman rumput gajah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis fungi mikoriza arbuskula pada rizhofer rumput gajah.  Sampel tanah dan sampel akar rumput gajah diambil masing-masing sebanyak 500g.  Analisis sampel tanah untuk mengidentifikasi FMA dilakukan di pusat Penelitian Biologi LIPI Bogor.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada rizhosfer rumput gajah ditemukan 5 jenis fungi mikoriza arbuskula dari 3 genus (Glomus, gigaspora dan acalauspora) yaitu Glomus sp (1 spora), gigaspora sp (57 spora), giga spora gregaria N.C. Schenck & T.H. Nicolson (48 spora), Acaulospora tuberculata Janos & Trappe (12 Spora) dan Acaulospora scrobiculata Trappe (2 spora). Jenis FMA terjadi kolonisasi pada rizhosfer rumput gajah, ditandai dengan ditemukannya struktur FMA. Struktur FMA yang ditemukan pada akar rumput gajah adalah hifa internal dan hifa eksternal.  Persentae kolonisasi FMA pada akar rumput gajah berkisar 47-88% dengan rata-rata 72,93%.Kata kunci: mikoriza, rumput gajah, pennisetum, glomus Identification of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi in the Rhizosphere of Elephant Grass (Pennistum purpureum)ABSTRACTArbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) plays a role forage growth of animal feed crops. The type AMF is not widely known in forage animal feed, especially elephant grass that grows in Southeast Sulawesi, therefore it is very important to research the identification of AMF in elephant grass plants.  The study aims to identify the arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi in the elephant grass rhizosphere. Samples of rhizosphere soil and elephant grassroots samples were taken by as much as 500g each. Analysis of soil samples to identify AMF was conducted at LIPI Bogor Biological Research Centre. Abstract

ABSTRAKRumput mulato tumbuh subur pada lahan-lahan marginal, tanah yang unsur hara sangat rendah. Kemampuan rumput mulato tumbuh dengan subur pada lahan tersebut menandakan adanya unsur lain yang bersimbiosis dengannya.  Kemungkinan yang menyebabkan rumput mulato tumbuh dengan baik adalah keberadaan mikoriza yang mengkoloni akar atau yang berada pada rhizosfer. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengekspolorasi dan mengidentifikasi jenis fungi mikoriza arbuskula pada rhizosfer rumput mulato.  Sampel tanah dan akar rumpu mulato diambil dilahan laboratorium lapangan Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Halu Oleo. Analisis sampel tanah untuk mengekspolorasi dan mengidentifikasi jenis fungi mikoriza arbuskula dilakukan di pusat  penelitian Biologi LIPI Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada rhizozfer rumput mulato ditemukan 5 jenis FMA yang berasal dari 3 genus mikoriza misalnya glomus sp, gigaspora sp, dan acaulospora sp. Jenis glomus sp ditemukan sejumlah 7 spora, giga spora gregaria ditemukan sejumlah 1 spora. Sedangkan jenis gigaspora gregaria N.C. Schenck dan T.H. Nicolson ditemukan sejumlah 13 spora. Acaulospora tuberculata Janos dan Trappe diemukan sejumlah 4 spora, sedangkan acaulospora scrobiculata Trappe ditemukan sejumlah 1 spora. Pada rhizosfer rumput mulato terjadi kolonisasi mikoriza karena ditandai dengan adanya struktur FMA.  Struktur FMA yang ditemukan adalah hifa eksternal, hifa internal, vesikula dan arbuskula.  Persentase kolonisasi FMA pada akar rumput mulato yakni 49-88% atau rata-rata sekitar 72,87%.Kata Kunci: Mikoriza arbuskula, glomus, Brachiaria hybrid cv. The ability of mulato grass to thrive on the land indicates the presence of other elements that symbiosis with it.  The possibility that causes mulato grass to grow will is the presence of mycorrhizal that colonizes the roots or that resides in the rhizosphere.  The study aimed to explore and identify the type of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the rhizosphere of mulato grass.  Soils and roots samples mulato grass were taken at the field laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Science, Halu Oleo University.  Analysis of soil samples to expolore and identify the type of arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi was conducted Biology research center LIPI, Bogor. The results showed that in rhizosphere mulato grass 5 types were found of AMF derived genera three of mycorrhizal such as glomus sp, gigaspora sp and acaulospora sp. The glomus sp types found 7 spores number.  Gigaspores gregaria found 1 spores number. The gigaspores gregaria N.C Schenck and T.H. Nicolson found 13 spores number. The acaulospora tuberculata Janis and Trappe found 4 spores number.  While acaulospora scrobiculata Trappe found 1 spores number. Abstract

This research aims to improve children's cognitive development through puzzle-assembling activities at the Teratai Putih State Kindergarten, Sungai Manau Village. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were 19 children, and data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed a significant increase in children's cognitive development from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the first meeting showed that 47.37% of children were in the Not Yet Developing (BB) category and 52.63% of children were in the Starting to Develop (MB) category. At the second meeting, there were no children in the BB category, with 84.21% of children in the MB category and 15.79% of children in the Developed (SB) category. In cycle II, the third meeting showed 42.11% of children in the MB category and 57.89% of children in the SB category. This research concludes that puzzle-building activities are effective in improving children's cognitive development, providing strong cognitive stimulation, and involving children in activities that require concentration, problem solving, and logical thinking. Thus, the use of puzzle media in the Teratai Putih State Kindergarten in Sungai Manau Village has proven successful in significantly increasing children's cognitive development.

Abstract

Produksi bibit jeruk keprok siompu dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai teknik, satu diantaranya adalah stek pucuk. Kelompok tani Bagea Buton Tengah merupakan kelompok tani binaan Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Buton Tengah dan memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk menanam bibit jeruk siompu di lahan-lahan kebun anggota kelompok tani. Namun kelompok tani terkendala pada produksi bibit dari biji karena musim berbuah telah lewat dan produksi buah terus mengalami penurunan di wilayah Siompu. Tujuan pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis (Bimtek) adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kapasitas kelompok tani tentang produksi bibit jeruk siompu melalui teknik stek pucuk. Bimtek ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7-9 Agustus 2024 bertempat di aula Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) kecamatan Mawasangka dan kebun jeruk siompu warga mawasangka, Siompu dengan jumlah peserta 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah metode Technology Transfer. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kapasitas anggota kelompok tani terkait teknik produksi bibit jeruk siompu melalui teknik stek pucuk.  Abstract. Production of Siompu tangerine seeds can be done using various techniques, one of which is shoot cuttings. The Bagea Buton Tengah farmer group is a farmer group assisted by the Central Buton Regency Agricultural Service and has high motivation to plant siompu orange seeds in the gardens of the farmer group members. However, farmer groups are constrained in producing seeds from seeds because the fruiting season has passed and fruit production continues to decline in the Siompu area. The aim of implementing technical guidance is to increase the knowledge and capacity of farmer groups regarding the production of siompu orange seeds using the shoot cutting technique. This technical guidance was carried out on 7-9 August 2024 at the Mawasangka sub-district Agricultural Extension Agency hall and the Siompu orange garden, Mawasangka residents, Siompu with a total of 30 participants. The method used in this program is the Technology Transfer method. The results of the service show that there has been an increase in the knowledge and capacity of farmer group members regarding Siompu orange seed production techniques using the shoot cutting technique.

Abstract

Keberadaan mikrobia bermanfaat yang rendah di daerah perakaran bawang wakegi dapat menyebabkan pertumbuhan tanaman mengalami hambatan karena tanah menjadi kurang subur.  Penambahan mikrobia indigenous diharapkan dapat meningkatkan populasi mikrobia di daerah  tersebut.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji potensi bakteri indigenous Bacillus sp. DB12 dan Trichoderma sp dalam meningkatkan produksi dan hasil bawang wakegi, baik yang diaplikasikan secara tunggal maupun konsorsium dengan formula biofertilizer.  Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, UNTAD, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan (faktor tunggal) bahan aktif formula biofertilizer berupa jenis mikrobia yang terdiri atas P1=kontrol (tanpa mikrobia), P2= Bacillus sp. DB12, P3= Trichoderma sp, dan  P4= konsorsium Bacillus sp. DB12 + Trichoderma sp.   Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 10 kali sehingga secara keseluruhan terdapat 40 satuan percobaan.  Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, berat ubi, dan diameter umbi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi  biofertilizer berbahan aktif konsorsium Bacillus sp. DB12 dan Trichoderma sp (P4) merupakan perlakuan terbaik karena dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman (36,74 cm), jumlah daun (30,40 helai),  jumlah umbi per rumpun (8,05), berat umbi per rumpun (40,19 g), dan diameter umbi per rumpun (2,21 cm).

Abstract

Cognitive problems, which include disturbances in the processes of thinking, learning, and memory, can be a serious obstacle to a child's development. This condition can affect various aspects of a child's life, including academic achievement. Cognitive problems cause difficulties in learning and understanding information and can hinder academic achievement and make it difficult for individuals to participate in formal education. Indirectly, this is caused by a lack of nutritional knowledge. Efforts to increase knowledge can be carried out by implementing a local food-based nutrition literacy program which is carried out by providing interventional counseling, accompanied by recommendations for local food menus and discussions on local food menus so that it can increase nutritional knowledge of parents and mothers. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of local food-based nutritional literacy on increasing parental knowledge in supporting children's cognitive growth. This type of research is a pre-experiment design, one group pre test-post test. The population was 30 toddlers aged 7-12 months who experienced stunting during the October period in Puuk village, Samudra subdistrict, and a sample of 30 people. The sampling technique used total random sampling. Knowledge data was obtained using a questionnaire. The results of this research showed that from 30 samples the average knowledge score about nutrition was 6.2 and after providing nutritional literacy the score was 11.2. The conclusion of this research is that local food-based nutritional literacy can improve maternal nutritional cognition (knowledge).

Abstract

P4K is a program launched in an effort to accelerate the reduction in maternal mortality. 2021 is the year with the highest number of maternal deaths in the last 5 years. Meanwhile, in 2022 the MMR has decreased to 6 mothers including maternal deaths caused by bleeding, eclampsia, and tuberculosis, and these causes can be prevented by using P4K. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women with the implementation of the Birth Planning and Complication Prevention Program (P4K) in the work area of ​​the Sitiung II Health Center, Dharmasraya Regency. This research is descriptive analytical research. The research design uses a cross sectional research design, the sample taken is total sampling where all members of the population are used as samples with a research instrument using a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that there was no relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women and the implementation of P4K with a P value equal to 0.294 (P value more than 0.05), there was a relationship between the attitudes of pregnant women and the implementation of P4K with a P value equal to 0.037 (P value less than 0.05) . It was concluded that the knowledge of pregnant women had nothing to do with the implementation of P4K, while the attitudes of pregnant women had a relationship with the implementation of P4K. It is recommended that health institutions or village midwives provide education about implementing P4K properly and correctly

Abstract

Pregnancy exercise is a fitness program intended for pregnant women. By participating in regular and intensive pregnancy exercise, pregnant women can maintain optimal health of their body and fetus. World Health Organization (2018) estimates that worldwide every year more than 585,000 die during pregnancy or childbirth. The death of pregnant women can be prevented by up to 22%, namely through regular antenatal care (ANC) and regular pregnancy exercise. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of pregnancy exercise to prepare them physically and psychologically for childbirth. The type of research used was quantitative conducted from March 24 to April 4 in 2023. The population in this study were all pregnant women in their second trimester, consisting of 36 people. The sample in this study were all second trimester pregnant women in the working area of ​​the Koto Besar Nagari Koto Ranah Community Health Center as many as 36 people using the total sampling method. The analysis used is univariate. The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of pregnancy exercise is less than 16 people (44.4), sufficient knowledge of 13 people (36.1), and sufficient knowledge of 7 people (19.4). It is recommended that health workers provide counseling and pregnancy exercise training so that they can increase the knowledge of pregnant women to prepare physically and psychologically for childbirth

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how leverage affects accounting conservatism in manufacturing firms in the consumer products sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The factors in this study are accounting conservatism and leverage. The sample in this study consists of manufacturing companies whose consumer goods industry sector is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2020 period. These companies publish financial reports separately. The population in this study consists of all manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Those businesses in the consumer goods industry sector that have non-negative profit values, which were selected using a purposive sample approach, will be listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange website during the 2019–2020 period. Data analysis and documentation approaches were used in the data collecting process. The findings of this study show that although there are still a number of companies that have suffered a decline due to an increase in total corporate debt, the average leverage, as determined by the debt to equity ratio, has increased in Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A straightforward linear regression analysis reveals that the constant value is 36,174. Hence, the accounting conservatism in Manufacturing Firms in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange is 36,174 if the leverage value is zero. The regression coefficient result is 0.386, which indicates that the accounting conservatism in Manufacturing Firms in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is 0.386 if the leverage variable increases by 1%.Keywords: Leverage and Accounting Conservatism

Abstract

This social contribution with the theme "Ecokids: Green Adventures Towards a Better Environment" was the result of the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM). The community service activities were a real-life implementation of knowledge and experience of the Nusantara Module course. The PMM Batch 4 Inbound students at Samudra University, specifically group 1 “Seumantok” chose an elementary school as the community partner to carry out their service. From the initial survey conducted at school, some students did not understand the importance of environmental awareness and had low knowledge of sorting waste. The participants were 3rd grade elementary school students. The method used was by conducting education with presentations in class and using flip book learning media, games, and open discussions with the students. The results found that grade 3 students were able to learn about awareness and concern for keeping the environment cleaner. Apart from that, students were quite enthusiastic and could sort waste according to the type of waste, namely organic waste and inorganic waste.
