Abstract

An effective learning process requires an approach that accommodates the diversity of student learning styles, including those with high intellectual intelligence (IQ) who may not yet recognize their optimal way of learning. Each individual has a different way of absorbing, processing, and storing information, making the understanding of learning styles a crucial aspect in education. This study aims to identify effective learning styles, particularly for students with high intellectual intelligence (IQ) who have not yet understood their appropriate learning style, and to analyze various factors that influence learning success. This research uses a library research method by analyzing recent scientific literature. The findings indicate that visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles can all enhance learning effectiveness when integrated with appropriate teaching strategies, high learning motivation, and a conducive learning environment. Teachers play a central role in recognizing student characteristics and adapting their teaching approach accordingly. Understanding learning styles not only impacts academic achievement but also creates a more personalized, inclusive, and adaptive learning atmosphere. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach in education, involving the interconnection between learning styles, intellectual potential, teaching strategies, and the learning environment to realise a higher-quality education system that is responsive to each learner's needs. This research contributes a novel perspective by focusing on the group of high-IQ students and advocating for the integration of individualized learning styles into classroom practice to achieve a more inclusive, adaptive, and high-quality education system.

Abstract

In Islam, the journey of human life encompasses five main phases: the Realm of the Spirit, the Womb, Worldly Life, Barzakh, and the Hereafter. Each of these phases holds profound significance in understanding the human being as a moral and spiritual entity. This research aims to examine the human life journey from the realm of the soul to the afterlife from an Islamic perspective, and to explore the spiritual and moral values within each phase that are essential for character building and Islamic education. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method through content analysis of the Qur’an, hadith, and relevant Islamic scholarly works. The findings reveal: (1) the Realm of the Spirit, where every soul testified to Allah’s oneness; (2) the Womb, the phase of physical development and the infusion of the soul; (3) Worldly Life, a temporary stage of trial, responsibility, and worship as Allah’s vicegerent; (4) Barzakh, the transitional stage between death and resurrection; and (5) the Hereafter, the eternal stage of reward or punishment based on one’s deeds. Each phase emphasizes key spiritual and moral responsibilities, which shape an individual’s character and deepen their religious consciousness. A holistic understanding of these stages encourages Muslims to live with purpose, striving for righteousness in this world while preparing for the ultimate goal eternal happiness in the Hereafter. This research contributes to the advancement of knowledge, particularly in the field of self-understanding within Islamic thought.

Abstract

Integration of science and religion or faith is important in the modern educational system. Education based on religious integration can help students not only to understand worldly knowledge, but also to have a deep spiritual awareness so that they are able to live a more meaningful and responsible life. The integration of science and faith can be applied to various aspects of education, such as curriculum, learning methods, and the role of educators. This research aims to explore the role of religious integration in modern education. The method used in this research is library research. The results show that the synergy between science and faith or the integration of Islamic teachings in modern education is a strategic step to produce students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have noble morals and a balanced personality. Islamic education views knowledge as a means to know God and to understand life more fully. Therefore, knowledge and faith must go hand in hand and reinforce each other. Through the process of incorporating Islamic values into every aspect of learning, students not only gain knowledge, but are also guided to become responsible, honest, and highly ethical individuals.

Abstract

The study of the typology of ulul albab as an ideal human character in Islam is an important aspect in understanding the concept of spirituality and wisdom in religion. Through a descriptive qualitative approach and library research, data was collected from various relevant reading sources. The data analysis process uses a flowing data analysis method, including reading, recording, processing and concluding. The findings show that thinking involves the entire human personality, explained in the Qur'an. The integration of the Ulul Albab typology in Islam highlights the importance of thinking activities as a basis for devotion and wisdom. In the modern era, Al-Qur'an-based education emphasizing the development of the Ulul Albab character through thinking activities can be a relevant solution in forming an intelligent and devout generation. This study contributes to enriching understanding of thinking activities within a psychological framework and Islamic teachings.
