Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi keyakinan diri, dan kecemasan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Moncongloe, jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak seratus siswa. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan systematic proporsional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket keyakinan diri dan angket kecemasan matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis jalur, analisis ini digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh secara langsung variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. (1) Hasil analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata keyakinan diri adalah 56,45 berada pada kategori sedang, nilai rata-rata kecemasan matematika adalah 65,32 juga berada pada kategori sedang, dan nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar matematika adalah 77,40 berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) Hasil analisis data secara inferensial menunjukan bahwa keyakinan diri berpengaruh positif signifikan secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) Hasil analisis data secara inferensial menunjukan bahwa kecemasan berpengaruh negatif signifikan secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between mental readiness and learning motivation of English Education students at Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research method is quantitative and uses correlation. The instrument used is a questionnaire using a Likert scale as an assessment analysis, which uses a scale of mental readiness and learning motivation. In this study, the questionnaire was distributed using Google Forms, and the analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. In this study, there is a correlation between mental readiness with offline learning motivation in the post-pandemic era 2021-2022 students of English education at Universitas Negeri Makassar. This is because the subject matter is relevant to students' affective, cognitive, and psychomotor mental readiness. The ability to restrain one's emotions so that they do not explode and ultimately impact reasonable behaviour is referred to as emotional management. Keywords – Mental Readiness, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Kegiatan Festival Literasi dan Numerasi yang diadakan di UPT SPF SD Inpres Mangasa I pada peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional (Hardiknas) 2024 melibatkan permainan Ular Tangga Literasi dan Numerasi sebagai salah satu kegiatan unggulan. Metode pelaksanaan dimulai dengan persiapan media permainan, koordinasi dengan guru, dan sosialisasi kepada siswa. Peserta dibagi dalam tim untuk bermain dan menjawab soal literasi serta numerasi, sambil berdiskusi dalam tim. Permainan ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa sesi untuk siswa kelas tinggi, sementara kelas rendah terlibat dalam pembelajaran outdoor dengan soal yang disesuaikan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui diskusi, apresiasi, dan pelatihan guru untuk memodifikasi soal agar permainan ini dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa permainan ini berhasil menarik minat siswa dengan antusiasme tinggi, meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa, serta memperkuat karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya gotong royong dan bernalar kritis. Selain itu, media permainan ini memiliki fleksibilitas untuk digunakan dalam berbagai mata pelajaran dan dapat diadaptasi oleh guru untuk pembelajaran jangka panjang. Secara keseluruhan, permainan Ular Tangga Literasi dan Numerasi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan akademik dan karakter siswa, serta memberikan inspirasi bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar dan aktifitas siswa di sekolah salah satunya akibat dari kurang bervareasinya metode yang diajarkan guru dalam pembelajaran dan siswa belum memiliki cara mencatat materi yang menarik dan efisien untuk memahami pelajaran. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, berlangsung di kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Majene. Maksud serta tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian adalah meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dan aktifitas siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dengan penerapan metode Mind Mapping. Terdapat sebanyak 22 siswa perempuan dan 12 siswa laki-laki dari total 34 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa terjadi kenaikan pada rata-rata hasil belajar individu siswa, yaitu pada siklus pertama sebesar 50,47 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 29% atau hanya 10 siswa dari 34 siswa yang mencapai standar kelulusan. Sementara pada siklus kedua terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar menjadi 71,51 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Begitupula pada aktivitas siswa juga terjadi kenaikan skor rata-rata yaitu pada siklus pertama sebesar 2,31 dengan klasifikasi cukup serta di siklus kedua terjadi kenaikan pada nilai 3,32 dengan klasifikasi baik. Jadi kesimpulan yang didapatkan pada penelitian adalah dengan penggunaan metode Mind Mapping dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bisa menambah nilai ketuntasan hasil belajar dan skor aktifitas siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out how students’ use and to assess their perception of the Duolingo application as a medium for learning pronunciation. This current research used a descriptive qualitative method with subjects of this research were two students of English Education at Universitas Negeri Makassar and random sampling was used in which the subjects that were being randomized had been using the Duolingo application for a long time. The instruments used in this research were observation by observing students using the Duolingo application using an observation checklist, and interviews using semi-structured interviews, namely interviews using interview guides originating from the subject concerned. The results of the research concluded that:  The use of Duolingo application consists of; students chose the level on the application, students do pronunciation exercises in the application, students studied vowels and consonants features in the application, students get feedback from the application, students have and use several additional features contained in the application. Furthermore, students positive perception of the Duolingo application; in cognitive aspects, students perceive that the Duolingo application is an online learning tool that can be used as a learning medium for learning pronunciation, in affective aspects students feel helped and made it easier when learning pronunciation using this application because there are interesting features that can increase students' excitement and make it easy for students to understand the instructions, in conative aspect, students using Duolingo application with follow the instructions provided and focus on each exercise and material contained in the application. While using this application, students can feel changes in their pronunciation. The changes in pronunciation experienced by students do not take long because they often use it in everyday life. The Duolingo application can be used every day, wherever and whenever because it is online-based and also free. Therefore, the Duolingo application can be used as a learning medium for learning pronunciation.

Abstract

The goal of this survey is for find out if or not writing a diary is affective to improve learners’ writing ability in recount text at second grade of MTs Darul Iman Mammi. This study was applied a quantitative method with pre-experimental research design. The population was secondary level students which come about 17 students. The sample taken was one class,  obtained by using total technique sampling. The appliance of this study was a writing test with a pretest and posttest. This research showed that, the mean score of students in pre-test was 19.94 and post-test was 25.64. Also, it was found that t-test value (52.326) ˃ t table value (2.120) and the Sig value obtained (2-tailed) from Paired Sample Test result was 0.000, this value is smaller than α=0.05. It means that null hypothesis (H0) is condemned and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is effective. It matters that utilize diary writing is affective for fix learners’ writing ability in recount text on secondary level students at MTs Darul Iman Mammi, Polman.

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aims to describe the problem-solving ability of fractional counting operations in terms of Keirsey's personality type. The type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 4 students from class VII A of SMPN 18 Selayar with 1 subject for each personality type. The research instruments used personality type classification instruments, problem-solving tests, and interview guides. The results of the research show that 1) Students with the guardian personality type are able to understand the problem, make a solution plan, carry out the solution plan, and check again, 2) Students with the artisan personality type are able to understand the problem, make a solution plan for problem 1 but are unable to solve problem 2, unable to carry out the solution plan and unable to check again, 3) Students with the rational personality type are able to understand the problem, make a solution plan for problem 1 but are unable to solve problem 2, carry out the solution plan, and check again, 4) ) Students with the idealist personality type are able to understand the problem, make a plan to solve problem 1 but are not able to solve problem 2, and also unable carry out the solution plan, as well as to check again.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the potential of fisheries resources in the Sula Islands Regency and then develop them into processed products with high added value as well as finding the right strategies and innovations to improve the economy of the people in the Sula Islands Regency. The method used in the research was a survey method and at the same time conducting focus group discussions (FGD) and interviews with key informants. The results obtained from the research are that the intensification of fisheries production in the Sula Islands Regency shows a significant positive trend, as evidenced by the dominance of tuna fish production of 82,147 tons (2023), a substantial increase from the 2017-2018 period (3,211.08 tons to 3,587.79 tons), as well as commodity diversification through the development of dried seaweed which reached 8,200 tons; Institutional stratification of fisheries was identified through the dominance of the smoked fish processing industry (26 groups), with heterogeneous spatial distribution in six villages, where Fogi Village recorded the highest concentration (10 groups), indicating the existence of disparities in capacity development between regions Paradigmatic transformation in fisheries resource management,...

Abstract

Learning mathematics in class greatly influences students' learning success both in terms of knowledge and attitudes. In carrying out learning, a learning design is needed that can foster student motivation so that they provide learning outcomes to the learning objectives. Motivational-Realistic-Pancasila learning design is considered to be an alternative solution. Morela is a design that combines motivational, realistic indicators and Pancasila values. The teaching of mathematics in the classroom significantly influences students' academic success, both in terms of knowledge and attitude. To effectively carry out the teaching process, a well-designed instructional approach is necessary to foster students' motivation to achieve learning outcomes in line with the educational objectives. Abstract

Abstrak. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengembangkan materi pembelajaran Penerjemahan berbasis pendekatan komunikatif bagi mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Inggris FBS UNM, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan desain materi, latihan LKS dan program perkuliahan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan bahasa mahasiswa. keterampilan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain materi pembelajaran Penerjemahan berbasis pendekatan komunikatif bagi mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Inggris FBS UNM untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berbahasa mahasiswa. Pengembangan desain materi pembelajaran yang direncanakan akan mengikuti penelitian dan pengembangan yang dirancang oleh Borg & Gall (1983). Penelitian ini merupakan suatu proses ekstensif dalam menilai kebutuhan siswa dan kemudian dikembangkan produk yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berbahasa mereka melalui pendekatan komunikatif berbasis pembelajaran Penerjemahan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Inggris FBS UNM. Sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan Sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat prototipe bahan ajar Penerjemahan, silabus, dan kontrak perkuliahan serta pendekatan komunikatif berdasarkan buku panduan pembelajaran Penerjemahan.
