Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the strategies that can be used by the City Government of Magelang in implementing SPM (Minimum Service Standards). The implementation of SPM is an effort to fulfill basic services in Mandatory Government Affairs for the citizens of the city of Magelang, covering education, health, public works and spatial planning, public housing and residential areas, peace, public order, and community protection, and social affairs. The achievement of the 100% service target is a measure of the success of SPM implementation. The analytical method in this research is a qualitative case study. The data used is primary data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation which includes the efforts, constraints and strategies of the City Government of Magelang in achieving 100% of the SPM implementation target. The research findings show that there are several efforts as a strategy that can be carried out by the City Government of Magelang in targeting the implementation of SPM. These efforts include establishing the Mayor's Policy on SPM Fulfillment, establishing the Mayor's and Head of Service's Performance Agreement, conducting SPM Target Formulation Consultations with the Technical Ministries, conducting database validation, setting plans for SPM fulfillment in the RPJMD, formulating Action Plans, Cross-Sectoral Coordination, outreach and educating related parties, strengthening supervision, making routine real time evaluation applications, enforcing sanctions and establishing channels for complaints. This is intended so that the SPM implementation target is achieved 100% so that the fulfillment of basic services for Magelang city residents can be carried out as optimally as possible. Abstract

The slug flow phenomena are often encountered in various industrial applications such as petroleum, process, and power plant. The presence of slug flow should be avoided as it causes structural damage due to resonance, corrosion and pipes blast. From the view point of multiphase flow, the understanding of the slug initiation mechanism is very important in pipeline design. This research is conducted using horizontal transparent acrylic pipes with diameters of 50 mm with a variation on the superficial velocity of water between 0,1 m/s and 0,77 m/s and superficial velocity of air between 0,31 m/s and 6,2 m/s. In the present experimental study, the slug initiation mechanisms was explained by visual observation by using high speed video cameras. As the results, the slug flow initiation mechanism were clarified. Furthermore, the proposed of flow initiation map was introduced.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap pengembangan karir, serta menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pegawai di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan populasi berjumlah 168 pegawai dan sampel sebanyak 63 responden yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh secara langsung melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden untuk memperoleh data yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, dan path analysis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara parsial kompetensi, lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir. Secara parsial kompetensi, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kompetensi, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan pengembangan karir pegawai.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of competence, work environment and work motivation on career development, and to analyze the effect of competency, work environment, work motivation, and career development on job satisfaction among employees at the Department of Archives and Library of Central Java Province. This research was conducted in the Department of Archives and Library of Central Java Province with a population of 168 employees and a sample of 63 respondents determined by purposive sampling technique. This study uses primary data obtained directly through a questionnaire distributed to respondents to obtain data related to research activities. This research uses quantitative analysis methods. Data analysis methods used in this study were instrument test, classic assumption test, and path analysis. Based on the results, it can be concluded that partially competence, work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on career development. Partially competence, work environment, work motivation, and career development have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Abstract

Background: The research in Jogoyudan Village, Lumajang District, identifies a significant gap in community income, land utilization, and entrepreneurial skill development, which is addressed through a community empowerment program focusing on vanilla cultivation training. The primary research gap highlighted is the low community income, underutilized yard spaces, and inadequate training and workshops to improve entrepreneurship skills among residents. These challenges are critical in a community where agriculture is dominant but lacks diversification and modern cultivation techniques. Contribution: This community service aims to improve knowledge of cultivating vanilla and making drip irrigation. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community will get additional income from the vanilla cultivation business. Method: This study includes pre-training, training, and post-training. The training employs socialization regarding vanilla cultivation techniques and drip irrigation. The next step is the direct practice of planting and pollinating vanilla as well as the practice of assembling drip irrigation. In this activity, 25 people were selected as training participants. Results: This service program shows increased knowledge of vanilla cultivation and drip irrigation by 38%. Conclusion: The training participants can independently cultivate vanilla and create drip irrigation in the yard. This activity received an excellent response from the training participants regarding facilitators, facilities, presenters, and. Participants were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic about cultivating vanilla in their yards

Abstract

Penelitian terkait dua fase gas-cair dalam saluran mikro telah banyak dilakukan. Namun, keterlibatan fluida non-newtonian serta kalor dalam aliran dua fase suatu saluran mikro masih terbatas, terutama pemecahan masalah pada pendinginan perangkat mikro. Permintaan terhadap efisiensi aliran fluida dua fase dalam mengikat kalor menjadi parameter penting dalam keberhasilan sistem pendinginan. Tujuan penelitian ini membandingkan beda tekanan antara fluida newtonian dan non-newtonian berdasarkan perbedaan viskositas pada aliran dua fase. Penelitian juga menambahkan perlakuan kalor konveksi dan mengamati pada dua area, yaitu sebelum (upstream) dan sesudah (downstream) terdampak kalor. Jenis fluida cair newtonian yang digunakan yaitu aquadest dan fluida non-newtonian yaitu Carboxymethil Cellulose (CMC wt 0,4%), sedangkan fluida gas yang digunakan adalah nitrogen. Dimensi diameter hidrolis saluran sebesar 0,8 mm. Kecepatan superfisial cairan divariasikan mulai 0,1 m/s hingga 1 m/s, sedangkan kecepatan superfisial gas divariasikan mulai 0,26 m/s hingga 7,81 m/s. High speed video camera digunakan untuk merekam pola aliran, panjang dan kecepatan gelembung terbentuk. Hasil penelitian aliran nitrogen-aquadest membentuk pola aliran bubbly, slug, churn dan slug-annular, sedangkan nitrogen-CMC wt 0,4% membentuk slug, churn dan slug-annular. Perbedaan viskositas aquadest memberikan beda tekanan lebih rendah daripada CMC wt 0,4%. Penambahan kalor mampu memberikan beda tekanan yang lebih rendah diiringi dengan penurunan viskositas cairan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya suatu permasalahan belum tercapainya secara optimal kinerja karyawan yang sesuai dengan kemampuan dan standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan sehingga tidak bisa memenuhi target kerja yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi  terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan OCB sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 58 responden. Sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB. Abstract

Inpago-Protani rice is a new rice variety from Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia. Producing rice flour as an intermediate product is a practical rice processing method. However, the utilization of rice flour as a wheat flour alternative is limited due to the differences in their gelatinization qualities. Fermentation with Lactobacillus sp. changes the gelatinization properties of rice flour by increasing the number of microorganisms and stimulating their metabolism in food materials. This study sought to determine how the physical and chemical qualities of Inpago-Protani rice flour are affected by the duration of fermentation, the concentration of Bimo-CF starter, and other factors. Applying 0.6% Bimo-CF starter for 12 hours at 30°C was the most effective method for fermenting Inpago-Protani rice flour. The resulting rice flour had a yield of 40.3%, a protein content of 10.3% (db), a carbohydrate content of 77.1%, a fat content of 0.4%, an ash content of 0.5%, a moisture content of 12.2%, and 338.7 kcal of energy. The enhanced characteristics of fermented rice flour may increase its versatility for subsequent processing.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan abnormal return saham yang terjadi pada peristiwa siklus bulan pada saham-saham IDX 30 dengan day effect sebagai moderating variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan model event study dan sampel Indeks Saham IDX 30. Data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dengan periode hari perdagangan dari tahun 2018 - 2023. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model studi peristiwa, statistik deskriptif SPSS dan Uji Kruskal Walis. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek  Indonesia dalam indeks IDX 30 periode tahun 2018 - 2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah SPSS Versi 25 dengan menggunakan uji Kruskal Walis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa abnormal return saham signifikan naik pada siklus bulan saat bulan baru dan dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh hari hari Senin dan Jum’at. Namun pada siklus bulan saat bulan purnama tidak terjadi perbedaan dibandingkan hari perdagangan biasa maupun hari Senin dan Jum’at.The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in stock abnormal returns that occur in the events of the lunar cycle on IDX 30 stocks with the day effect as a moderating variable. This research uses a quantitative research design with the event study model and the IDX 30 Stock Index sample. Secondary data is collected with trading day periods from 2018 - 2023. The analysis is carried out using the event study model, SPSS descriptive statistics and the Kruskal Walis Test. The population used in this study are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the IDX 30 index for the period 2018 - 2022. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The analytical tool used is SPSS Version 25 using the Kruskal Walis test. The results of this study indicate that abnormal stock returns significantly increase during the new moon and are significantly influenced by Mondays and Fridays. But in the lunar cycle during the full moon, there is no difference compared to ordinary trading days, Mondays, and Fridays.

Abstract

Abstract Using the theory of the role of international organizations, this research explains how the role of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Thailand handles cases of Trafficking in Person (TIP) on the Thailand-Myanmar border in 2022. First, the role of the instrument, IOM Thailand helps the Thai government through the The Promise II program which helps Prospective migrant workers from Myanmar receive appropriate qualifications. Second, the role of the arena, IOM Thailand supports international forums discussing human trafficking crimes through the Bali Process forum, Coordinated Mekong Ministerial Initiative Against Trafficking (Commit Process). Third, the role of independent actors, IOM Thailand implements the 4P strategy to handle the crime of human trafficking. The results of this research show that IOM Thailand has fulfilled the criteria for its role as an international organization in handling human trafficking cases. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, physical work zone, and work compliance on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, with a case study at PT Pertamina Marine Solutions in the Semarang and Cilacap areas. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method implemented through the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this study were all TKJP employees of PT Pertamina Marine Solutions, and samples were taken randomly with 107 respondents. Validity and reliability tests were carried out on the questionnaires used. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with hypothesis testing and intervening tests assisted by the Smart PLS 4.0 program. The results of the study indicate that competence has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction and performance. In addition, job satisfaction has been proven to be able to mediate the influence of competence and work compliance on employee performance.
