Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of supervising the use of village fund budgets, considering that there are many legal problems related to village funds involving village officials and village heads in Indonesia. Through the stages of supervision, namely monitoring, examination and evaluation and using qualitative descriptive research methods, it intends to describe the supervisory process carried out by the community in participating in supervising village funds. The result of this study is that the role of the community in participating in village fund supervision has not been optimal both from the dimensions of monitoring, examination and evaluation so it is suggested that there is a need for education or advocacy of community participation in supervising the process of using the budget and monitoring the results of village performance using village funds.

Abstract

Global tourism is now leading to authentic and cultural experiences, with urban heritage tourism as a growing trend. Surabaya, as a historic city, has great potential in history-based tourism, especially in Kampung Peneleh. This study analyzes the implementation of urban heritage tourism policies in Peneleh Village, focusing on the challenges and opportunities for its development. The method used is descriptive qualitative through in-depth interviews and document analysis. Results show four main challenges: (1) ineffective communication between governments, communities, and tourism actors, leading to program overlap and low community participation; (2) limited resources, especially funds, which hinder the provision of supporting facilities; (3) the attitude of the community is less proactive; and (4) a complicated and slow bureaucratic structure. This study concludes that increased coordination, resource support, and community participation are very important to optimize the potential of heritage tourism in Peneleh Village. It is recommended to improve communication mechanisms, find alternative funding, and reform bureaucracy for inclusive and sustainable tourism development

Abstract

In the era of globalization, national identity poses a unique challenge, particularly for Indonesian diaspora children living far from their homeland. The children at Sanggar Bimbingan Sungai Mulia 5 (SB SM 5) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, are mostly migrant children growing up in environments with minimal exposure to Indonesian culture. This condition risks weakening their emotional connection to national identity and the cultural heritage of Nusantara. This international community service program aims to enhance the national awareness of children aged 10–14 years at SB SM 5 by introducing the cultural heritage of Borobudur Temple as a symbol of national civilization and traditional Javanese games such as cublak-cublak suweng. The methods used include participatory approaches, edutainment, and experiential learning, designed to create an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The children participated in activities such as visual presentations, storytelling, hands-on traditional games, and reflections on national values. The results demonstrated an increase in knowledge about Borobudur from 10% to 90% and a high level of enthusiasm for traditional games. The children not only gained an understanding of Indonesian culture but also felt a sense of pride and emotional closeness to their homeland. As a follow-up, plans include the development of digital modules, regular cultural classes, and collaboration with diaspora communities to ensure the sustainability of this program. This initiative successfully established an emotional connection between diaspora children and Indonesia's cultural identity, making it a model applicable to other diaspora communities

Abstract

Wonogiri Regency is one of the main areas for porang cultivation and processing centers. As a center, market conditions in Wonogiri Regency are still monopsony, giving rise to very different prices between farmers and final consumers. This is due to the involvement of many parties in it. The aim of this research is to find out whether the marketing channels for porang commodities in a monopsony market are efficient or not. The method for determining the location was carried out purposively in four sub-districts in Wonogiri Regency are Karangtengah, Jatisrono, Slogohimo dan Manyaran. The number of respondents was 60 farmers and 9 traders taken using snowball sampling. This research uses descriptive and quantitative methods. Based on the results of analysis, the form porang commodities are divided into two, namely fresh tubers and chips. The research results show that the marketing channel in the form of fresh tubers is classified as inefficient for all channels. Meanwhile, marketing channels in the form of porang chips are considered efficient for all channels, where the most efficient channel is channel 3 (Farmer à Farmer Owner Delevery Order (DO) à Factory).

Abstract

The Creator Coffee Roaster is a speciality coffee processing business based in Yogyakarta and has been established since 2012. The company focuses on producing roasted coffee beans of various types, including Robusta, Arabica, and house blends that are uniquely crafted by the company. The raw coffee beans are sourced from multiple coffee-producing regions in Indonesia, giving their products a diverse richness of flavour. As consumer interest in speciality coffee continues to grow, the demand for The Creator Coffee Roaster’s products has also increased steadily. This study evaluates the efficiency of the supply chain using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, with input variables such as cash-to-cash cycle time and order fulfilment cycle time, and output variables such as delivery performance and order fulfilment. The analysis results show that farmers 2 and 4 achieved 100% efficiency, while farmers 1 and 3 were still inefficient, with scores of 57.1% and 66.7%, respectively. The novelty of this research lies in utilising DEA, which adopts input and output variables from the SCOR 12.0 method to provide a data-driven evaluation, helping speciality coffee roastery SMEs optimise their supply chain strategy. Based on these findings, it is recommended that specialty coffee SMEs establish partnerships with efficient farmers, provide improvement feedback to those who are less efficient, and adopt data-driven supply chain management to enhance competitiveness and business sustainability.
