Abstract

Kelangkaan dalam pengajuan sebuah saluran nirkabel (frekuensi) menjadi dilema untuk penyedia jasa maupun operator telekomunikasi. Teknologi radio kognitif memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan spektrum secara signifikan. Radio kognitif terdiri dari 4 siklus langkah yaitu penginderaan spektrum, pengelolaan spektrum, spektrum berbagi, dan mobilitas spektrum yang mana penginderaan spektrum merupakan langkah yang paling penting dan kompleks. Dalam penelitian ini telah dianalisis penginderaan spektrum dengan deteksi energi pada frekuensi 825MHz dengan lebar pita frekuensi 20MHz menggunakan GNU Radio dan USRP N210. Teknik penginderaan spektrum yang digunakan adalah deteksi energi. Seluruh percobaan dilakukan dalam GNU Radio Companion (GRC) dan setelah itu data phyton akan dianalisis secara eksternal (MATLAB). Data untuk 30 frame waktu yang berisi 1024 sampel setiap frame dianalisis. Akhirnya, untuk menemukan nilai threshold yang optimal, probabilitas false alarm (Pfa) telah terhitung dalam 30 frame waktu untuk 5 nilai threshold berbeda di -98 dB, -99dB, -100 dB, -101 dB, -102 dB. Nilai akhir yang dicari adalah nilai threshold dengan Pfa persis dibawah 5%.

Abstract

The Meratus Mountain in South Kalimantan Province have many geosites variations as geodiversity of National Meratus Mountain Geopark with theme the oldes ofiolite in Indonesia. Meratus Mountain was formed since 200-150ma from collision interaction of eastern part of Sunda Land with Pasternoster Continent who striking towards NE-SW in South Kalimantan Province. This mountain bordered Asam-asam Basin inthe eastern and Barito Basin in the western. The process of multideformation process formed the Meratus Mountain and exposed the ofiolite complex in Indonesia, aged between 200-150 million year ago. This rocks include : dunite, peridotite, pyroxenite, gabro, pillow basalt and chert.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the development of information technology, especially in Indonesia, is increasingly advanced, with this education must also be able to compete with these developments with innovations from educators, in order to compete with the development of learning media in various countries that have advanced their education systems. This research is literature, with the method of collecting data documentation and analysis using content analysis. The results of the study state that quizizz as one of the game-based learning media has a good impact on students. Learning becomes fun and not boring because students feel like they are playing a game, sharpening students' competitive spirit because quizizz shows directly the score that students get each time they answer a question, increasing focus in learning, being more enthusiastic, and stimulating students to understand questions better than textbook-based questions.

Abstract

Dystopian literature offers readers a portrayal of a bleak world where society functions under the rulers’ abuse. Emerging in the 20th century as a response to world events such as the First World War, dystopian literature emphasizes the supremacy of hostile social forces. Society is responsible for degrading its system and quality of living, as instigated by the government, technology, and commercialization. Those in power abuse their authority through various outlets to justify maintaining law and order. What is depicted in the dystopian literature somewhat represents the factual events happening globally, where governments worldwide abuse their power against their citizens. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method because this method was used to analyse the abuse of power by the authority and other characters in three dystopian novels, The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Matched. The primary data is in the form of narratives and conversations between the characters, containing the abuse of power in those novels. Literary data collection was used to collect relevant data from the novels. Data analysis uses content and narrative analyses, including data compression and interpretation. Furthermore, the abuse of power is practiced by the government and other characters who hold positions of power. This article explores the practice of power abuse in three dystopian novels, exercised by both the former and the latter, to others in misguided attempts to sustain the status quo or any abhorrent values and beliefs.

Abstract

Archival digitization constitutes a strategic initiative for enhancing efficient and contemporary document management, particularly within governmental bodies. This research analyzes the deployment of the SRIKANDI (Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System) version 3 application at the Sidoarjo Ministry of Religious Affairs Office to advance its archival digitization agenda. As a technological innovation, SRIKANDI is engineered to expedite archival management transformation, encompassing documentation, tracking, and data security. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative methodology, data was gathered via observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the application substantially augments management effectiveness through superior data accessibility, diminished document loss risks, and heightened time efficiency. Nonetheless, implementation challenges, including the necessity for comprehensive user training and robust technological infrastructure, were observed. The study concludes that SRIKANDI version 3 is a pertinent solution for supporting digitization, contingent upon the provision of continuous user assistance and capacity-building initiatives. Recommendations entail developing more intuitive application features and intensifying technical training programs for personnel.

Abstract

Isolator memiliki peran penting dalam sistem tenagalistrik, khususnya untuk mencegah terjadinya gangguan pada sistemkelistrikan, seperti arus bocor dan flashover. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk menganalisis pengaruh posisi sirip pada isolator berbahanPolyethylene terhadap distribusi medan listrik, arus bocor, dantegangan flashover dalam kondisi kering dan basah. Tiga variasiposisi sirip yang diuji, yaitu di bagian atas (Tipe A), di tengah (TipeB), dan di bawah (Tipe C) dengan geometri isolator yang sama.Simulasi distribusi medan listrik dilakukan menggunakan perangkatlunak FEMM 4.2, sedangkan pengujiaan arus bocor dan teganganflashover dilakukan di Laboratorium Tegangan Tinggi UniversitasBrawijaya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa posisi sirip mempengaruhiperforma isolator secara signifikan. Isolator dengan sirip di posisibawah menghasilkan medan listrik yang lebih kecil sehingga memilikiarus bocor yang lebih kecil serta tegangan flashover yang lebih besardari tipe lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penempatan sirip diposisi bawah lebih optimal dalam meningkatkan kinerja isolatorpolyethylene. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi desain isolatoryang lebih andal untuk digunakan pada lingkungan dengankelembaban tinggi.Kata kunci: isolator polyethylene, posisi sirip, arus bocor, flashover,medan listrik.

Abstract

Using appropriate stance markers is essential to enhance argumentation. However, scholars have consistently reported that linguistic, cultural, and instructional factors make developing persuasive skills in L2 writing instruction challenging. This quantitative study employed a corpus-based methodology to investigate the use of stance markers in the academic writing of Indonesian EFL learners to establish persuasive arguments. The dataset comprises academic essays from 59 learners who were part of their academic writing coursework. The stance markers were identified using AntConc software and analyzed following Hylands (2019) stance framework. The research revealed learners reliance on transitions to create a logical structure in their text, while the use of boosters slightly surpasses the use of hedges, reflecting their growing understanding of the need to balance certainty with caution in academic writing. The high frequency of markers for disagreement and doubt indicates their ability to engage effectively with alternative viewpoints. The findings of this study challenge the stigma that Asian EFL learners are less assertive in expressing their arguments and challenging opposing views because they adhere to their cultural communicative norms. However, we found the limited use of markers indicating subjectivity and evaluation, which points to a potential gap in pedagogical approaches and suggests the need for more targeted instruction to bridge culturally appropriate communication norms and academic writing conventions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education at MA Darussalam Sengkubang, a madrasah inhabited by students from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that multicultural education is implemented through integration in subjects such as Citizenship Education and Social Sciences, as well as in self-development activities, both programmed such as extracurricular and unprogrammed such as morning prayers and national commemoration ceremonies. Supporting factors for the implementation of multicultural education include a school climate that accepts diversity, the role of teachers, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. However, there are several obstacles such as the lack of learning media about diversity, individual attitudes that are less open to differences, and minimal socialization for teachers. Efforts to overcome these obstacles are carried out by instilling values ??of tolerance and respect for differences through school policies, adding educational media, and increasing socialization for teachers and students. This study recommends improving supporting facilities for multicultural education and special training for teachers so that they are able to integrate the concept of multiculturalism effectively in learning.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the improvement of school administrative service quality through the optimisation of administrative management at SMK Baitussalam Bluluk Lamongan. This is a qualitative study. The informants in this study were the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, students, and administrative staff. Data collection was conducted using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Furthermore, the data validity was tested through triangulation, conducting more thorough observations and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of administration in improving the quality of administrative services at SMK Baitussalam Bluluk Lamongan has been carried out in accordance with the predetermined plan. The performance of administrative staff in implementing administration to improve the quality of administrative services at SMK Baitussalam Bluluk Lamongan is in accordance with their respective duties and functions. Then, the optimisation of administrative management at SMK Baitussalam Bluluk Lamongan has a function, namely POAC (planning, organising, actuating, controlling). The existence of a management function serves as a benchmark that good management must be in accordance with the existing stages. Planning is the first point in the management function.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (KKN) ITB Ahmad Dahlan dilaksanakan di Rumah UMKM Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa, Parung-Bogor, dengan tema "Efektivitas KKN sebagai Upaya Penguatan Ketahanan Masyarakat di Masa Ketidakstabilan Ekonomi". Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengatasi ketidakpastian ekonomi melalui pendekatan berbasis pemberdayaan. Metode pelaksanaannya terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, pemantauan, dan evaluasi. Program utama meliputi pelatihan pencatatan keuangan sederhana, pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah tangga untuk ketahanan pangan, digitalisasi pemasaran produk, dan penguatan jejaring sosial masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan masyarakat, termasuk kemampuan untuk melakukan pencatatan keuangan terstruktur, mengelola pekarangan rumah tangga sebagai sumber makanan tambahan, dan memasarkan produk secara digital melalui media sosial, marketplace, dan Google Maps. Selain itu, diskusi kelompok dan kolaborasi menumbuhkan solidaritas sosial, yang memperkuat kapasitas adaptif masyarakat dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian ekonomi. Program KKN ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat dari sisi aspek ekonomi, pangan, dan sosial. Namun, mempertahankan dampaknya membutuhkan bantuan jangka panjang dan kolaborasi multi-pemangku kepentingan untuk memastikan bahwa strategi yang diperkenalkan dapat terus diterapkan.
