Abstract

Abstract : The successful achievement of learning can be helped byusing instructional media. Besides being able to convey information moreeasily, interesting media can motivate students to be more enthusiastic inlearning activities. Audio-visual media is a medium that communicates it’smessage can be received by hearing and sight, for example, the media film,voice slides, animation and computer-based multimedia. This study aims todetermine the increase in motivation, activity and learning outcomes ofstudents in class XI MIA 2 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru using classroom actionresearch conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetingswhich includes four stages of implementation, namely: planning, action,observation, and reflection. Data collection included questionnaire,obervation and tests. The results showed that the percentage of studentsincreased activity and achieving the success criteria. The percentage ofstudent activity in the first cycle of 61.18% with categorized well and thesecond cycle of 82.87% were categorized as excellent. Percentage oflearning outcomes is also seen from mastery learning that enhances andhave achieved success criteria. Motivation of student gained average of59,09 with high motivation criteria. The percentage of mastery learningstudents in the first cycle only reached 76.47%, which has not reached thecriteria of success, while in the second cycle students learning completenesspercentage of 100% has achieved succes criteria. Based on the resultsobtained, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media canenhance the activity and student learning outcomes.Keyword: Media Audio visual, activities, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The research about application of active learning Football Verbal strategy to improve students learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 2 Kampar have been done. Tipe of research is experiment research with design randomized control group pretest-posttest. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X4 as experiment class and X3 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with implementing active learning Football Verbal strategy while the control class wasnot given active learning Football Verbal strategy. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis showed that tscore > ttable (3,66 > 1,67), it means that the active learning Football Verbal strategy can improve students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN2 Kampar. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category and in control class was medium category with N-gain 0,78 and 0,67 sequentially.Key Words : Active Learning Football Verbal strategy, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the use of snakes and ladders game as chemo-edutainment media has been done to achieved mastery of students on the subject periodic system of element in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanah Putih. Form of the research is pre-experiment research with one-shot study case design. Retrieval of data started from August 27 to September 24, 2014. Sample of research is class X MIA 2. Data analysis technique used to calculate presentage of competency mastery of knowledge, competency mastery of attitude and competency mastery of skills. Based on the final results obtainable competency mastery of knowledge is 87,87%, competency mastery of attitude is 100% and competency mastery of skills is 100%, it’s means that the application of using snakes and ladders games as chemo-edutainment media can achieve mastery of students on the subject of periodic system of element in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanah Putih. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the improveret of student achievement of applying quartet card game media on chemical bonding subject in class X MIA at SMA PGRI Pekanbaru . Type of this research is experimental by Randomized Control group pretest-posttest Design. The population is all class X MIA SMA PGRI Pekanbaru that consists of 2 classes. Sample in this research consisted of two grade obtained after the test of normality and homogeneity, are class X MIA1 and X MIA2. The experimental class was applied with quartet card game media and control class by traditional learning. The data was analysed using test Mann-Whitney U with significance level (α=0,05) and dk =50. Based on the analysis and processing of data obtained zcount>ztable is 2.09>1.96, this mean that the application of the media quartet card game can improve the student learning Achievement on the subject of Chemical bonding in the of X class of MIA SMA PGRI Pekanbaru.Key words : Learning Achievement , Media Quartet Card game, Chemical bonding

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve student achievement on the subject  chemical equilibrium in class XI Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Ujungbatu trough the applying model cooperative learning Talking Stick . This research was used Randomized control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The data are research was conducted from September 2014 to June 2015. The population of the research are all of student in XI Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Ujungbatu which consists of 5 classes. Samples of this research have two classes there are class XI MIA.4 and XI MIA.5 were randomly selected. Class XI MIA.5 applied model cooperative learning Talking Stick as experiment class and  XI MIA.4  as control class. The data analysis technique used homogeneity test is by assessing homogeneous variances of samples, and hypothesis test (t-test) is by assessing comparison of learning achievement between class. Based on analysis hypothesis test with   d f = 61 (α= 0,05) data obtained arithmetic > table is 2,9 > 1,67. It showed that model cooperative learning Talking Stick can improve student achievement on the subject chemical equilibrium class XI Senior High School (SMAN) 1Ujungbatu. Based on normalized gain (N-gain) category increased in experiment class by student achievement was categorized in high (0,776) category, while control class categorized medium(0,682) category.Key Word : Cooperative Learning, Talking Stick, Chemical Equilibrium

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research was to know the differences between the application of REACT strategy and conventionally on the stoichiometry subject at the class X senior high school 1 Kampar. REACT strategy includes five steps Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring. This research used quasi experiment with design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample of research consisted two class, class X MIPA 3 and class X MIPA 4. The analysis for normality data used Kolmogorov-Smirnov test obtained results that was normally distributed and homogeneity test used Levene test obtained results that was homogeneous. The analysis data used Independent-Sample T-Test, the result shows there was significancy differences between REACT strategy and conventionally were student achievement who learn used REACT strategy have improve significancy on stoichiometry subject (t = 3,207. Abstract:The study on the use of LKS comic to improve student achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI IPA SMANegeri 1 Sungai Apit has done. It isa experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA1 as an experiment class and XI IPA2 as a control class, which was randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity.Experiment class were treated with the use of LKS comics while not using LKS control class comic. Data analysis technique was used t-test. Based on the results of final processing data use t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable is 3,46>1,67, it means that the applying of question card media can improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The category improvement of student achievement in experiment class was high category with a score gain normalized is 0,73.Keywords :LKS comics, Learning achievement,and colloid

Abstract:The research about approach science, environment, technology and society (SETS) in SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu has done. The aim of this research is to improve student achievement on the subject of the atomic structure and elements of the periodic system in class X Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu. The research used an experimental method using randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The Sample consists of 2 classes, X2 as an experiment class (applied approach SETS) and X5 as the control class (without approach SETS). Data analysis technique used t-test. Based on test data analysis obtained tcount>ttable is 6,76>1,67, meaning that the use of approach SETS can increase student achievement on the subject of the atomic structure and elements of the periodic system in class X Senior High School 1 Ujungbatu. Abstract

Abstract : The aim of the research was application of active learning the firing line strategy has been done to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on oxidation reduction reaction topic in class X in 7 Senior High School Pekanbaru. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined randomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 7 classes as population and then class X5 choosed as experiment class and X2 as class group. The experiment group was applied by the application of active learning the firing line strategy. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the data was obtained tcount>ttable was 2,28t ≥ 1,67, meant that the application of active learning the firing line strategy could increase the student’s learning achievement on oxidation reduction reaction topic in class X in 7 Senior High School Pekanbaru. The Category of increasing the student’s learning achievement trhough active learning the firing line strategy on the subject of oxidation reduction reaction is a high category with the N-Gain value was of 0,79.Keywords: The Firing Line, Active Learning, Achievement, oxidation reduction reaction.

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of Reciprocal Teaching model to improve student activity and learning mastery of solubility and solubility product in class XI MIA 6 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru has been conducted. The student activities that corrected were embrace, ask question, done the exercises and group discussion. The improvement of students learning activities implies an increase in mastery learning students. The subject of this research were 27 students that involved conducted in two cycles of learning. Each cycle consisted of two meetings through four stages, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data of this research was collected by using observation sheet and test. The result showed that student activity was increased and achieved the standard criteria. The student activity at the first cycle was 49,64% and at the second cycle was 63,76% with good criteria. It was found out that there was improvement in students Learning Mastery and the standard criteria was achieved. The first and the second cycle average percentage of learning mastery were 70,37% and 85,18% respectively. Based on the result, was concluded that application of Reciprocal Teaching model can improve student activity and learning mastery.Keyword : Reciprocal Teaching, Student Activities, Learning Mastery Student
