Abstract : Research on the application of Guided Discovery learning model aims to achieve student’s mastery learning on the topic of the reaction rate in class XI Science MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This research used one shot-study case design. Time of data retrieval from the date November 11rd – 27rd 2014. The sample was selected from the four existing classes, obtained class XI Science 1. Data analysis technique used the percentage calculation of mastery learning classical. Based on the results of data processing obtained mastery learning classical of knowledge competency is 90,625%, attitude competency is 100% and skill competency is 100%, means that the application of Guided Discovery learning model can achieve student’s mastery learning on the topic of the reaction rate in class XI Science 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Abstract: This Research is about the application of active learning strategy learning tournament type that has conducted to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on of salt hydrolysis at class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 2 class as experimental class and XI IPA 5 class as control class. Experimental class is a class that is used application of active learning strategy learning tournament, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic > ttable is 3,37 > 1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy learning tournament can improve student achievement on the subject of reaction rate in class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru where the effect of an increase is 16,34%.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Learning Strategy Learning tournament, and of Hydrolysis of salt

Abstract : Research about application of the active learning strategy type learning tournament was conducted to improve students’ achievement on the buffer solution in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 3 as a control class and students of class XI IPA 2 an experimental class that selected randomly after homogeneity test. Experimental class was applied the active learning strategy type learning tournament, while the control class was not applied. Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on result of the analysis data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 3,13 > 1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy type learning tournament could improve students’ achievement on the subject of buffer solution in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with an increasing percentage of 12,6%.Key Words : Active Learning Strategy Type Learning Tournament, Learning Achievement, and Buffer Solution

Abstract : Active learning strategy of arisan card to improve student learning achievement in class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru has done. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of group XI IPA3 as the experimental group and students of group XI IPA1 as the control group. Experimental group is a group that is applied to active learning strategy of arisan card while the control group was not. Strategy of arisan card is a strategy that uses the principles of arisan, where there is a question card and an answer card . Cards are in the matter of the roll to be drawn and the card answers have been given to students in groups randomly. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 3,22>1.67, means that the application of active learning strategy of arisan card can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment group was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,80.Keywords: arisan card, Active Learning, Learning achievement, Colloid

Abstract: The research about implementation active learning Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy to improve students learning achievement on the colloid subject at the class XI MIA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru have been done. The research was a form of experimental research with the design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample consists of two classes, class XI MIA 9 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 5 as the control class is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class was implied of active learning Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy while the control class didn’t imply of active learning Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of data processing obtained tcount > ttable is 3,47 > 1,67, its means that the implementation of active learning Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) strategy can improve students learning achievement on the colloid subject at the class XI MIA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. Abstract: The research about the learning cell type of cooperative learning model has been conducted in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the topic solubility and constant solubility product (Kelarutan dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan Ksp) in class XI SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class XI MIA2 as an experimental class (implemented the learning cell type of cooperative learning model) and class XI MIA1 as the control class (without the learning cell type of cooperative learning model). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table i.e 3.63 > 1.66, meaning that the application of the learning cell type of cooperative learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp) in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. The improvement of the student achievement category (N-Gain) as high as 0.82.Keywords: Student Achievement, The Leraning Cell Type Of Cooperative Learning Model, solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp).

Abstract: Development of interactive learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8 on the topic Acid Base has been done. Development of interactive learning media to get a valid, practical and effective learning media. The research method used four-D models which consists of four stages are define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three validators (media expert and matter experts). The results showed score of the designing aspects was 3,83; pedagogic aspects was 3,80; the content aspects was 3,94; the ease of use aspects was 3,97. Average score overall validation of interactive learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8 on the topic Acid Base was 3,89. A valid Interactive learning media then triel used by practitioners (users), they are four teachers and 15 students from class XII MIA 3 SMAN 7 Pekanbaru and 15 students from class XII MIA 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Data analysis of learning media based on questionnaire responses of teachers and students each earned an average score of 3,79 and 94,33%. Average score overall validation and trial practitioners of learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8 show that this media is valid and can be use in learning process.Key Words : Interactive Learning Media, Autoplay Media Studio 8, Acid Base

The Utilization of ICT as Pedagogical and Professional Competencies to Support the Professionalism of Chemistry Teachers Wahyuni Rizka Dharma; Jimmi Copriady; Roza Linda

This purpose of this study was to determine the influence of ICT utilization as pedagogical and professional competencies to support the professionalism of chemistry teachers. This study used a quantitative method through a survey approach with 157 chemistry teachers. The survey was conducted to obtain the data through questionnaires. The results indicated that the ICT utilization in the learning as pedagogical and profesional competencies significantly influenced toward the professionalism of chemistry teachers with the sig. 0,000<α = 0.05. Simultaneously, the use of ICT in the learning as a pedagogical competence and the ICT utilization in communicating and developing themselves as professional competencies had a significant effect on supporting the professionalism of high school chemistry teachers that was indicated by the analysis result of the F 0,000 test probability value. It was smaller than α = 0.05. The use of ICT needs to be improved by designing various efforts in the learning process i.e., conducting an education and ICT training to achieve the teacher skills in utilizing the ICT to support the teacher professionalism. The chemistry teachers should utilize the ICT in learning and follow an ICT training. The local government has to fix the facility and infrastructure as well as the evaluation and regulation of the ICT utilization in school to suppert the teacher professionalism.

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta didik (LKPD) Berbasis RMS pada Materi Stoikiometri yang valid berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik RMS, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafisan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan proses pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan 4-D. Objek penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar yaitu Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis RMS. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah lembar validasi yang diberikan kepadaÃÂ tiga validator, dan dari hasil analisis data diperoleh validitas pada aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik RMS, kebahasaan, sajian dan kegrafisan berturut-turut yaitu sebesar 95,24%, 95,83%, 98,33%, 97,92% dan 93,75% dengan kategori valid. LKPD yang telah valid menurut validator diujikan kepada 20 orang peserta didik dan mendapatkan hasil respon dengan persentase sebesar 92,71 % dengan kriteria sangat baik, serta oleh dua orang guru dan mendapatkan hasil respon dengan skor sebesar 3,5 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis RMS yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan pada mata pelajaran kimia SMA pada materi stoikiometri.

One of the problems in education is that educators have not been able to prepare innovative teaching materials in accordance with the development of science and technology. Educators are required to provide innovations to increase students’ interest in learning, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. This activity aims to provide understanding and skills to students and teachers in using electronic-based teaching materials and training of e-magazine making in chemistry learning. The activity was carried out at a public senior high school (SMAN Pintar), Riau Province, which is located in the city of Taluk Kuantan. This school is a boarding school that has a good infrastructure and facilities to support the optimization of learning science and technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. The method of implementing this program is to give a socialization about 21st century learning and the use of e-magazine as innovative teaching materials, followed by training and mentoring of teachers in making e-magazine using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro application. The results of this program are e-magazine products, usage manuals, and review books program. This activity received a positive response from students and teacher of SMAN Pintar Riau Province.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Salah satu masalah dalam dunia Pendidikan adalah pendidik belum bisa menyiapkan materi ajar yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan IPTEK. Seiring dengan tuntutan revolusi industri 4.0 yang mengedepankan IT, pendidik dituntut untuk dapat memberikan inovasi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Salah satu inovasi yang bisa digalakkan adalah membuat bahan ajar berbasis IT. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada peserta didik dan guru dalam menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis elektronik melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuaatn e-magazine dalam pembelajaran kimia. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SMAN Pintar Provinsi Riau merupakan sebuah boarding school yang memiliki infrastruktur dan sarana prasaran sudah memadai sehingga diperlukan usaha pengoptimalan IPTEK agar sekolah ini bisa berperan serta dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini meliputi pemberian materi sosialisasi tentang pembelajaran abad 21, penggunaan e-magazine sebagai bahan ajar, pelatihan dan pendampingan guru dalam pembuatan e-magazine menggunakan aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa buku panduan program, buku tinjauan program, dan produk e-modul yang dibuat oleh tim EMBER KLASIK serta guru hasil pelatihan. E-magazine adalah modul elektronik yang memiliki tampilan seperti majalah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memperoleh respon positif dari peserta didik dan guru SMAN Pintar Provinsi Riau.
