Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze Pentahelix in the Development of Paloh Naga Agrotourism towards the Social Economy of Village Communities from an Islamic Economic Perspective. This research uses qualitative research which provides an actual, systematic and accurate picture of tourism development using the pentahelix model through descriptive methods. Tourism potential can develop rapidly if all stakeholders work together well, this is shown by the correlation between elements of the pentahelix model. Test the validity of the data using the triangulation method method. The results of this research are that Pentahelix in the development of Paloh Naga Agrotourism towards the Social Economy of the Denai Lama Tourism Village Community has been running optimally. In encouraging tourism progress, the role of various supporting parties is needed through creative ideas and innovation that work synergistically. Apart from that, the development of Agrotourism must always pay attention to the objectives of Islamic economics, namely that it must be in line and in accordance with Islamic law so that all ongoing tasks are directed towards the benefit of the people.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about how the accounting information system for cash receipts and disbursements at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra and to find out how the process of recording the accounting information system for cash receipts and disbursements at PT. Indonesian Railways (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The recording system used at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra uses the SAP (System Application and Processing) application. The SAP system itself has many advantages, both in terms of financial reports which are automatically separated so there is no need to separate financial reports manually. Procedure for Recording PT Cash Receipts. Kereta Api Indonesia has been running well in accordance with the company's general cash receipts system. Source of cash receipts PT. KAI Head Office obtained from providing services from selling train tickets and renting fixed assets. However, there are obstacles in this procedure which have not been implemented optimally, giving rise to differences in bank accounts and in evidence of Cash Receipt Analysis due to recording errors that occurred in the PT accounting unit. KAI. PT. Cash Disbursement Recording Procedure. If seen from its implementation, Indonesian Railways is in accordance with the cash disbursement system and is running well. PT cash disbursements. KAI Head Office is used to finance the company's operational activities. However, there are obstacles that occur during the recording process, in this case not all transactions received at the accounting unit are recorded regularly/daily so that recording errors and calculation differences still occur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability, leverage and company size on stock prices in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In this study using quantitative methods with an associative approach. The population used in this study is the financial statements of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2020 period, which is 21 companies. In this study, samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques based on certain criteria. The secondary data obtained were analyzed through the Eviews 12 Software program. The results of the first study show that Profitability does not have a significant effect on Stock Price. Secondly, it shows that Leverage has a significant effect on Share Price. Third, it shows that Company Size has a significant effect on Stock Price. Fourth, simultaneously Profitability, Leverage and Company Size have a significant effect on Share Price.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengkaji bagaimana mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam (FEBI) UIN Sumatera Utara termotivasi, berpengetahuan, dan cenderung berwirausaha Islami. Memanfaatkan teknik survei, metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Seratus mahasiswa FEBI mengisi kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data, yang kemudian dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam Islamic entrepreneurship. Pengetahuan tentang prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam, sikap positif terhadap kewirausahaan mendorong keinginan untuk berpartisipasi, dan motivasi yang kuat memperkuat minat untuk memulai bisnis berbasis syariah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan motivasi secara bersama-sama dapat meningkatkan minat mahasiswa terhadap Islamic entrepreneurship, yang pada gilirannya dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekonomi Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembangunan Ekonomi dalam perspektif Islam berfokus pada keseimbangan antara aspek material dan non-material yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai moral Islam. Tujuan utama bukan hanya untuk mencapai kesejahteraan dunia, tetapi juga kebahagiaan di akhirat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan nilai-nilai dan dasar-dasar yang mendasari pembangunan ekonomi dalam Islam, yang meliputi prinsip-prinsip tauhid, rububiyah, khilafah, dan tazkiyah. Prinsip tauhid menekankan bahwa seluruh aktivitas manusia, termasuk yang berhubungan dengan alam dan sumber daya, harus berada dalam kerangka hubungan dengan Allah. Rububiyah mengakui bahwa Allah adalah pencipta dan pemelihara alam, yang menyediakan rezeki dengan kebijaksanaan yang tak terbatas. Khilafah menggarisbawahi bahwa manusia bertanggung jawab sebagai wakil Allah di bumi, dan tazkiyah berkaitan dengan penyucian diri dalam hubungannya dengan Allah, sesama, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study examines the Analysis of Community Economic Growth through the Agricultural Sector in North Padang Lawas Regency. This study applies a descriptive qualitative research approach. This step is taken because the researcher will analyze various information in qualitative methods and then provide an interpretation of the data that has been collected. The information collected in the study is divided into two categories, namely: primary data and additional data. Primary data was obtained through direct observation in the field and interviews with sources from BPS (Central Statistics Agency) Padang Lawas Utara. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from journals and articles relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that the community in North Padang Lawas has abundant natural resource potential, such as fertile soil and a climate that is conducive to agricultural activities. This provides significant opportunities for the development of various types of food crops and horticulture. In addition, the presence of the agricultural sector has a significant impact on the economic growth of the PALUTA community, considering that most of the population in the area works as farmers. Thus, in general the agricultural sector in North Padang Lawas has significant opportunities to develop, but requires special attention regarding sustainability, policy support, and increasing the ability of farmers in order to achieve maximum results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of globalization on economic development in developing countries, focusing on both its positive and negative effects. Globalization has accelerated the integration of the global economy, enabling developing countries to access global markets, advanced technologies, and foreign direct investment (FDI). On the other hand, globalization also presents challenges such as economic inequality, dependency on developed nations, and resource exploitation. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this study explores various data and literature from scientific journals, international organization reports, and related publications. The findings reveal that globalization significantly contributes to economic growth in developing countries through increased international trade, technology transfer, and job creation. However, these effects are not evenly distributed across sectors and social groups, leading to income disparities and uneven development. Furthermore, globalization pressures often push developing countries to adopt economic policies that are less supportive of local sectors, reducing domestic economic competitiveness. This study recommends the importance of balanced and sustainable development-oriented policies to maximize the benefits of globalization while minimizing its adverse impacts. Thus, developing countries can optimize globalization’s potential as a tool for inclusive and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

Article discusses the influence of education on economic growth in developing countries, with a special focus on Indonesia. Education is considered a key factor in improving the quality of human resources, which contributes to economic growth. The three main theories that explain this relationship are human capital theory, allocation theory, and class growth theory. Human capital theory suggests that higher education can increase productivity and wages, despite criticism regarding job quality. Allocation theory highlights the role of education in allocating individuals based on educational strata, while class growth theory highlights the impact of education on social inequality. In Indonesia, challenges faced in the education sector include inequality of access and poor infrastructure, especially in remote areas. Despite increasing education budgets, data shows that classroom infrastructure problems are still not fully resolved. This article emphasizes the importance of research and development to improve the quality of education, which in turn is expected to encourage economic growth and reduce social problems such as unemployment and crime. Successful examples from other countries, such as South Korea, show that a strong education system can contribute significantly to economic growth. The method used in this research is a literature review, which collects and analyzes various studies related to the influence of education on economic growth. The literature sources used include books, academic journals, and research reports, which allows the authors to gain a broader picture of trends, findings, and research gaps in this topic.

Abstract

This study is quantitative and draws on secondary information from financial records that can be viewed at www.idx.ac.id.. The research population consisted of 10 pharmaceutical companies and 8 research samples obtained using a purposive sampling method for 5 years & the number of samples was 40 observational data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis which was using SPSS 26. The results of the research conducted in this research are: (1) From the results of the regression test, the regression coefficient of the Gross Profit variable is positive. This shows there is such positive influence between Gross Profit and future Cash Flows. It is known that the Sig value shows number that is less than the significance value. then the gross profit partially affects the prediction of future cash flows, (2) From the results of the regression test, the regression coefficient of the variable Operating Profit has no impact on future cash flows. Sig probability value. the greater the significance value, the operating profit partially does not affect the prediction of future cash flows, (3) The regression test's findings indicate that the Net Income variable's regression coefficient has a favorable impact on upcoming cash flows. Probability value for sig. Operating profit partially influences future cash flows if it is greater than the substantial value and a positive coefficient., (4) The value obtained from the F test is 122.176, and the significance level is 0.000. Value of Sig is known. displays a value less than the significance level (0.000 0.05). This leads to the conclusion that gross profit, operating profit, and net profit all have an impact on forecasting future cash flows at the same time. Furthermore, gross profit, operating profit, and net profit can predict future cash flows by 90.3%. While other factors and variables outside of this study can explain and have an impact on the remaining 9.7%.

Abstract

Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang melibatkan mahasiswa dalam pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu yang diperoleh di bangku kuliah. KKN bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mahasiswa, meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, serta mempererat hubungan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan KKN oleh kelompok 23 dari Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara di Desa Pelanggiran, Kecamatan Laut Tador, Kabupaten Batu Bara, dari 25 Juli hingga 25 Agustus 2024. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pencegahan stunting, penyuluhan perencanaan keuangan keluarga, moderasi beragama melalui lomba islami, pembuatan batik jumputan, dan bimbingan belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini termasuk wawancara dan observasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa KKN memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka, serta mempererat hubungan komunitas. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan mahasiswa pengalaman berharga dalam menghadapi tantangan nyata di lapangan.
