Abstract

This research aims to analyse the business diversification strategy of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) and its subsidiaries, explain their business operations, and explore growth potential. This research tries to identify the company's internal and external environmental factors after business diversification, conduct an analysis of the corporate position and portfolio of business units and subsidiaries, and formulate a new business diversification strategy concept. This research method is descriptive qualitative with the data used in the research including primary data collected through interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data such as company financial reports, industry performance reports, and industry attractiveness. PT Hutama Karya's business diversification includes expansion into various business divisions, including Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT), Non-Toll Road Business Entity (Non-BUJT), and the establishment of subsidiaries such as Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), HAKAAston, HK Realtindo, Hutama Marga Waskita (HAMAWAS), and EPC Energy Singapore Ltd. The main supporting factors for this diversification are the continued economic growth and government support in infrastructure development. The company's internal strengths are the application of technology and adaptation to changes in the construction industry, they also face challenges such as cashflow issues, global economic uncertainty, and changes in political direction. The SWOT analysis shows that the company is in the "Grow and Build" quadrant and needs to pursue aggressive business diversification. The results of the GE Nine Cell Matrix analysis show a diverse position for the company's business units, with some as "Leaders" and others needing to be managed carefully or even divested. The managerial implications of this study are the need for business ecosystem development and business portfolio diversification, technology development across businesses to support competitive advantage, and the creation of new opportunities after the completion of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road project

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of visual content on social media on Generation Z's purchase decisions, with brand engagement as an intervening variable. The population in this study consists of Generation Z in Palembang City, totaling 135 individuals. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, with criteria for Gen-Z individuals aged 12-27 years, social media users, and those who have made purchases through social media. This study employs a quantitative method with SmartPLS 3.0 as the analysis tool to test the relationships between the proposed variables. The results show that visual content has a significant effect on purchase decisions, both directly and indirectly through brand engagement as an intervening variable. Brand engagement is proven to mediate the relationship between visual content and purchase decisions. These findings highlight the importance of managing creative and relevant visual content for brands to build emotional connections with Generation Z, thus driving purchase decisions. This study offers practical implications for marketers to enhance social media-based marketing strategies to more effectively reach Generation Z.

Abstract

PKBM Al-Amanah, pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat di Jatiluhur Jatiasih Kota Bekasi, bertujuan menyediakan pendidikan dari, oleh, dan untuk masyarakat. Proses penilaian di sekolah penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Metode pencatatan absensi dan penilaian (LTS, LKS, PTS, PAS) di PKBM Al-Amanah masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode manual dalam pencatatan absensi dan penilaian mengurangi efisiensi pembuatan rapor. Hal ini memperlambat proses administrasi dan meningkatkan potensi kesalahan data. Aplikasi web ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat pembuatan rapor, yang sebelumnya memakan waktu berjam-jam dengan metode manual, serta mengurangi kesalahan data, meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi penilaian. Untuk menyusun penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, dengan analisis kualitatif berdasarkan hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, serta bahan-bahan lainnya. Proses ini mengikuti langkah-langkah analisis, implementasi, dan desain yang sesuai dengan metodologi pengembangan perangkat lunak Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), yang meliputi analisis sistem, spesifikasi kebutuhan sistem, perencanaan sistem, pengembangan sistem, pengujian sistem, serta implementasi dan pemeliharaan sistem. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi absensi dan penilaian berbasis web yang dapat mempermudah para guru dalam melaksanakan proses absensi dan penilaian terhadap siswa siswi di PKBM Al-Amanah. Dengan aplikasi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pencatatan absensi dan penilaian, serta mengurangi potensi kesalahan data.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of thoroughly understanding the history, development, and interpretation of the fasting ordinance in Islam, especially analyzing Surah Al-Baqarah verses: 183, 184, 185 and 187 relating to Ramadan fasting. The focus of this study is to identify the fiqhiyyah rules contained in the verse and explain how the fasting law has changed from the beginning of Islam to become an obligation. In its discussion, the article reviews the differences in scholarly views regarding the equality of Muslim fasting with the previous people. Furthermore, this research uses the content analysis method to analyze, identify, and interpret the fiqhiyyah rules contained in Surah Al-Baqarah and relate them to the context in which the verse was revealed (asbabun nuzul). With the content analysis method approach, this article aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the history of the fasting ordinance, the interpretation of the verse, the reason for the verse's revelation, and its relation to the ushul fiqh rules. The results show the existence of provisions and prohibitions in carrying out fasting, differences in scholarly views regarding the application of verses, and the relevance of the verse in the rules of ushul fiqh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and dividend policy on stock price studies in food and beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2016. In this study profitability was measured using Basic Earning Power (BEP) dividend policy using Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) and stock prices using the closing price (Closing price). The population in this study were all food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2016, while the samples in this study were food and beverage companies that met the research criteria so that as many as 6 companies were obtained by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression models. The results of the study stated that Basic Earning Power (BEP) and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) had a significant positive effect on stock prices. This means that Basic Earning Power (BEP) and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) have a relationship with stock prices, so the two ratios are also one aspect that needs to be taken into account when investing in shares.

Abstract

This study examines the sustainable economic transformation in rural Indonesia through a case study of Warujayeng Village, East Java, focusing on the integration of traditional practices and modern innovations in the post-pandemic era. The research addresses how rural communities navigate economic resilience by synthesizing local wisdom with technological advancements, challenging conventional modernization paradigms. Employing a qualitative approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, the study reveals three key adaptation phases: selective resistance, limited experimentation, and hybrid practice institutionalization. Findings demonstrate that 72% of traditional traders adopted digital platforms while maintaining interpersonal transactions, and polyculture farming systems showed 23% greater resilience than monocultures during crises. The study contributes to development theory by introducing "culturalized innovation" and "digital embeddedness" concepts, highlighting informal institutions as crucial innovation mediators. Practical implications suggest culturally sensitive policy frameworks for rural development, emphasizing asset-based approaches and spiritual-social capital integration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Exercise Jumping Up and Down Bench and Jumping Jack in Swamp Land Against Squat Style Long Jump Ability. For the male students of SMPN 1 Anjir, Kec. Anjir, Kab. Barito Kuala for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is an experimental research with quantitative research type. The research population was the male students of Smpn 1 Anjir, while the sample of this research was 30 people who were determined using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study are tests and measurements. Statistical data shows the value of determining the value of t table for db = 28 and = 0.05, namely t table = t (0.05;28) = 2.048. Thus, t0 = 73.851 > t table = 2.048 or H0 is rejected. Which means that if H0 is rejected, there is a difference in the population mean parameters between experiment I and experiment II. the calculation of the statistical percentage in the exercise method for the squat style long jump in the first experiment there was an increase of 5.7063% > compared to the second experiment which increased only 3.8531%. Which means that the jumping jack in the swamp in Experiment I is superior to going up and down the bench in Experiment II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap Penelolaan keuangan mahasiswa fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, (2) mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, (3) mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya yang berjumlah 76 orang dengan sampel penelitian Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 52 Orang, Pendidikan Ekonomi berjumlah 14 Orang dan Bimbingan Konseling berjumlah 10 Orang. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis regresi linearberganda Literas Keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengelolaan  Keuangan karena nilai signifikansi 0,086 > 0,05 sedangkan gaya hidup tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Penelolaan Keuangan secara simultan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,584 > 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil secara simultan Literasi Keuangan dan Gaya Hidup tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Pengelolaan Keuangan secara simultan dengan nilai signifikan 0,140 > 0,05 Kemudian, berdasarkan hasil determinasi (R2) Literasi Keuangan dan Gaya Hidup tidak berpengaruh terhadap Penelolaan Keuangan.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between state equity participation (PMN) and dividend distribution in state-owned enterprises (SOEs), with government assignments serving as a moderating variable. PMN represents a crucial instrument utilized by the government to reinforce the capital base of SOEs. Although PMN is designed to enhance the financial performance of SOEs, its influence on dividend distribution remains unclear, particularly in the context of government assignments. This study employs panel data from 55 SOEs over the period 2010-2022. The analysis is conducted with quantitative methods, specifically panel data regression, to examine the relationship between PMN and dividends with assignment as a moderating variable. The findings indicate that the impact of PMN on SOE dividends varies depending on the time period under consideration. In the year of the PMN grant and the subsequent year, there is no statistically significant relationship between PMN and dividends. In the second year, there is a negative relationship between PMN and dividends; however, in the third year, the impact shifts to a significant positive. The findings of this study lend support to the hypothesis that PMN has the potential to increase dividends over the long term, despite the tendency for funds to be allocated to public assignments in the short term, which may result in a reduction in potential earnings. The findings also confirm that assignments play a significant moderating role initially, but diminish over time, suggesting the importance of policy adjustments regarding assignments and dividend targets. The policy implication of this study is that long-term planning is necessary to optimize the use of PMN, with a focus on financial stabilization and long-term investment for SOEs. The government should prioritize the acceleration of the disbursement process to enable SOEs to respond rapidly to market dynamics.

Abstract

Kondisi cuaca menjadi faktor penentu dalam lancar tidaknya suatu kegiatan pelayaran. Apabila cuaca buruk terjadi maka dapat menyebabkan kegiatan pelayaran terganggu bahkan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kesiapan kapal Ro-Ro Passanger dalam menghadapi cuaca buruk yang mungkin terjadi, mengetahui persepsi dari awak kapal terhadap cuaca buruk, dan mengetahui proses informasi cuaca buruk oleh syahbandar sehingga kapal penumpang bisa menjamin keselamatan pelayaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian campuran/mix method karena dalam melakukan pengukuran dilakukan secara numerik/kuantitatif berdasarkan kejadian yang sedang diteliti namun dilengkapi data kualitatif. Dari pembahasan penelitian didapatkan hasil penelitian berupa 1.) persiapan kapal dalam hal menjamin keselamatan berlayar; setiap kapal yang akan berangkat diwajibkan mengisi ceklis persiapan kapal berlayar sesuai ISM Code; 2.) jika sudah dalam kondisi darurat, hal yang harus dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: semua perwira dek akan berada di anjungan dan semua ABK dek akan siaga. Memonitor setiap perubahan cuaca melalui alat-alat navigasi dengan syahbandar dan berita cuaca dari BMKG. Berlindung di tempat yang aman untuk menunggu cuaca buruk selesai (jika ada pulau terdekat bisa berlabuh). Bertindak sesuai tugas masing-masing seperti pada pelatihan menghadapi cuaca buruk dan 3.) alur informasi dimulai dari BMKG yang membuat grup WhatsApp (WA) yang terdiri dari BMKG, ASTD, BPTD (Balai Pengelola Transportasi Darat), TNI Angkatan Laut, Basarnas, dan syahbandar. BMKG memberikan informasi terbaru tentang cuaca terkini, maka syahbandar akan meneruskan kepada para nahkoda kapal.
