Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze various innovations in education management, evaluate their impact on the quality of education and student learning outcomes, and develop practical recommendations that can be implemented by education stakeholders in Indonesia. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to creating a learning environment that is more inclusive, relevant and responsive to community needs, as well as overcoming the challenges faced in the education system. This research uses a type of library research or literature study, where researchers rely on various literature sources to collect relevant data and information. With a qualitative approach, this research focuses on analyzing data in the form of words or descriptions, allowing researchers to explore the context and meaning behind the information found. The results of this research show that innovation in educational management involves curriculum development, use of technology, improvement of human resources, stakeholder participation, and evaluation systems. Competency-based curriculum and project learning increase educational relevance and student engagement, while the integration of information and communications technology (ICT) increases the efficiency of data management and communications. Ongoing training for teachers is important for the quality of teaching, and parent and community involvement increases accountability. Practical recommendations include adaptive curriculum development, technology training, community engagement programs, and data-driven evaluation to create inclusive and effective educational environments.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana integrasi Box’s Spok dalam konteks pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat membantu memperkuat keterlibatan siswa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk kepentingan sosial dan pendidikan lokal. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan yang lebih inovatif dan relevan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi seperti Box’s Spok. Hasil dari eksplorasi penggunaan Box's Spok dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa melalui pendekatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan dampak yang signifikan dalam pendidikan modern. Teknologi ini mengubah paradigma pembelajaran dengan memperkenalkan simulasi visual dalam VR dan AR, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang mendalam dan memikat untuk memperkuat pemahaman konsep-konsep pelajaran. Partisipasi aktif siswa juga mencerminkan peningkatan minat mereka terhadap materi pelajaran dan keterlibatan yang responsif terhadap inovasi pendidikan. Integrasi Box's Spok tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan kritis dan kreatif siswa yang relevan dengan era digital. Ini menciptakan landasan yang kuat untuk pengembangan pendidikan berbasis teknologi, mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan global dengan percaya diri.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of technology in achieving social justice in education. It will evaluate educational technology initiatives and their impact on improving education quality and equity of access. This type of research is a Systematic Literature Review, which is a systematic study that follows specific procedures to identify, evaluate, and synthesize all relevant research on a given topic. This method yields more comprehensive and reliable results. The findings regarding hopes and challenges in analyzing the role of technology in achieving social justice in education for Indonesia's Golden Generation in 2045 indicate that technology has significant potential to enhance accessibility, engagement, and personalized learning. However, challenges such as the digital divide, infrastructure quality, and limited teacher skills hinder the optimization of technology benefits. Additionally, social and cultural barriers, including resistance to change, are critical factors that need to be addressed to improve the acceptance of technology in education. Therefore, collaborative efforts involving the government, educators, and the community are needed to create an environment that effectively supports the use of technology, enabling all students to benefit and achieve social justice in education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the improvement of motor coordination and visual movement response in elementary school students through physical activity-based game stimulation. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method, with pre-test and post-test to measure the development of students' abilities. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach to measure changes in students' motor coordination and visual movement responses. The sample used was elementary school students with a total of 40 people. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in students' motor coordination ability, where 45% of students in the pre-test were in the category of excellent coordination, and increased to 85% in the post-test, showing an increase of 40%. In addition, students' visual motion response also improved significantly, with a decrease in reaction time from 300 ms in the pre-test to 150 ms in the post-test, indicating an improvement in the ability to respond to visual stimuli. Games such as throwing and touching the cone have been proven to be effective in stimulating improved motor coordination and visual response of students. This study concludes that stimulation through play has a positive impact on improving students' motor and cognitive abilities

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Karang Taruna melalui DEBORA (Desa Bina Olahraga) dalam peningkatan manajemen dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana olahraga di Desa Manunggal Jaya. Program ini difokuskan pada peningkatan kapasitas manajerial Karang Taruna dalam mengelola kegiatan olahraga serta mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana olahraga yang ada di desa. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi kinerja manajemen Karang Taruna dalam merencanakan, menyelenggarakan, dan mengelola berbagai kegiatan olahraga serta pemeliharaan sarana prasarana olahraga. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan manajemen Karang Taruna, terutama dalam hal perencanaan kegiatan, manajemen keuangan, dan pengorganisasian tim olahraga. Selain itu, program ini berhasil memperbaiki dan memelihara lapangan sepak bola, voli, dan bulu tangkis, yang sebelumnya dalam kondisi kurang layak. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan olahraga desa juga meningkat, baik melalui olahraga rutin maupun kompetisi lokal. Program DEBORA juga berperan dalam pengembangan prestasi olahraga desa dengan membina atlet lokal yang mampu bersaing di tingkat kecamatan. Kesimpulannya, program DEBORA berhasil memberdayakan Karang Taruna dalam meningkatkan manajemen dan pengelolaan sarpras olahraga di Desa Manunggal Jaya, yang memberikan dampak positif terhadap aktivitas olahraga dan partisipasi masyarakat. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan potensi program DEBORA sebagai model pengelolaan olahraga berbasis desa yang dapat diterapkan di wilayah lain.

Abstract

The community service program titled "Improving Welfare through Sport Massage Training in Samarinda City" aimed to equip participants with sport massage skills beneficial for health and economic potential. The program was conducted through a comprehensive approach, including material delivery, treatment demonstrations, hands-on practice, skill evaluation, and real-condition simulations. The initial stage focused on delivering basic concepts of sport massage, simple anatomy and physiology, and fundamental techniques through interactive presentations. Experienced instructors then demonstrated proper massage techniques on main body parts and specific areas prone to tension or injury, emphasizing safety and comfort. Participants were divided into small groups for hands-on practice, receiving guidance and feedback from instructors. Skill evaluation ensured participants understood correct and safe techniques. Real-condition simulations allowed participants to role-play as massage service providers, enhancing their confidence in handling clients professionally. The program resulted in high participant satisfaction levels, with the highest satisfaction in the practice and simulation sessions. Participants showed significant improvement in understanding and applying sport massage techniques, and increased readiness to practice their skills professionally. This community service program successfully empowered participants with valuable skills that contribute to both health and economic well-being in Samarinda City.

Abstract

The SERAWA (Healthy, Physical, and Spiritual) program is implemented to improve the quality of life of the elderly at UPTD PSTW Nirwana Puri, a social service institution in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The program adopts a holistic approach, with a focus on physical health, fitness, and mental well-being. Indonesia's elderly population is increasing rapidly, and this demographic shift poses challenges to the health care and social welfare systems. The SERAWA program aims to overcome this challenge by providing comprehensive support to elderly residents in the institution. The program consists of two main components: Health education and psychological support. Health education focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle, including balanced nutrition, regular exercise, stress management, and chronic disease prevention. Meanwhile, psychological support is provided through group discussions, sharing sessions, and individual counseling to address emotional well-being and prevent loneliness. The results of the program showed a positive impact on the physical health, emotional well-being, and social connectedness of elderly participants. The success of the SERAWA program demonstrates the effectiveness of a holistic approach in improving the quality of life of the elderly and highlights the potential to replicate similar programs in other social institutions across Indonesia. ABSTRAKProgram SERAWA (Sehat, Raga, dan Jiwa) dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia di UPTD PSTW Nirwana Puri, sebuah lembaga layanan sosial di Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia. Program ini mengadopsi pendekatan holistik, dengan fokus pada kesehatan fisik, kebugaran, dan kesejahteraan mental. Populasi lansia di Indonesia meningkat pesat, dan pergeseran demografis ini menimbulkan tantangan bagi sistem perawatan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan sosial. Program SERAWA bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini dengan memberikan dukungan komprehensif kepada penghuni lansia di lembaga tersebut. Program ini terdiri dari dua komponen utama: pendidikan Kesehatan dan dukungan psikologis. Pendidikan kesehatan berfokus pada mempromosikan gaya hidup sehat, termasuk nutrisi seimbang, olahraga teratur, manajemen stres, dan pencegahan penyakit kronis. Sedangkan dukungan psikologis diberikan melalui diskusi kelompok, sesi berbagi, dan konseling individu untuk mengatasi kesejahteraan emosional dan mencegah kesepian. Hasil program menunjukkan dampak positif pada kesehatan fisik, kesejahteraan emosional, dan keterhubungan sosial peserta lansia. Keberhasilan program SERAWA menunjukkan efektivitas pendekatan holistik dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia dan menyoroti potensi untuk mereplikasi program serupa di lembaga sosial lain di seluruh Indonesia.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning dapat membantu guru di sekolah di tingkat dasar dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan guru akan lebih siap untuk mengimplementasikan game dalam pembelajaran mereka, yang pada gilirannya dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, serta menambah wawasan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan. Pelatihan penggunaan Game-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa di tingkat dasar ini diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada Hari Selasa, 26 November 2024, mulai pukul 14.00 hingga 15.30 WIB. Acara ini akan dipandu oleh narasumber, yaitu penulis sendiri, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., yang akan membahas penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan Game-Based Learning yang diselenggarakan oleh KGB SD Pariaman Selatan pada 26 November 2024 berhasil menarik antusiasme 50 guru dari berbagai sekolah. Para peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang penerapan game dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan prestasi siswa. Narasumber, Bapak Gingga Prananda, M.Pd., menjelaskan cara mengintegrasikan game edukatif ke dalam pelajaran seperti matematika dan bahasa Indonesia, serta memberikan contoh praktis yang mudah diterapkan. Para guru merasa lebih percaya diri untuk menggunakan game dalam pembelajaran, yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan baru dan mendorong inovasi dalam metode pengajaran.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training at the elementary school level is an important step in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the younger generation. This activity aims to provide students with basic knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, as well as develop creative, innovative, and independent attitudes. The training, conducted at an elementary school in Cirebon City, involved 20 students from grades 5 and 6, with material covering the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, identifying business opportunities, and business planning and management. In addition to theoretical lessons, the activity was also supplemented with practical exercises, such as creating simple business plans and simulating buying and selling transactions, allowing students to directly experience the dynamics of the business world. The results of this activity show that students not only acquired new knowledge but also improved their communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking abilities. This training is expected to motivate students to become resilient young entrepreneurs, ready to face future challenges.

Abstract

Science is a combination of Natural Sciences (IPA) and Social Sciences (IPS) which is now a new subject in the Independent Curriculum. Science and Technology began to be taught in elementary schools to develop students' basic abilities in natural sciences and social sciences. In science and science subjects, teachers are still monotonous or too often rely on student books and teacher books. As we know, elementary school students are still children, so if the teacher is always monotonous teaching will be boring. This research aims to determine the effect of the Facilitator and Explain learning model on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Cibiru 6 KCKB. This type of research is experimental research. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling. The instrument in this research is a test of student learning outcomes, while the data analysis technique uses the t-test. Based on the results of the research, the average value of the experimental class was 83.00 and 73.40 in the control class. It can be seen from the results of the data analysis that has been carried out that t count (3.29) > t table (1.68), so the hypothesis is accepted. From the research results it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Facilitator and Explaining model on students' science learning outcomes. For this reason, it is recommended that teachers who teach science subjects apply the Facilitator and Explaining model in the learning process.
