Abstract

Abstract:  In modern education, digital technology is utilized to enhance learning activities and promote the development of the 4C skills: critical thinking and problem-solving, creativity, and innovation, communication, and collaboration. This research aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of e-Ganer instructional materials, which concentrate on disaster mitigation and adaptation topics. The research methodology utilized in this study is research and development (R&D), following the A.D.D.I.E. model. Data collection is performed through non-test methods, specifically employing needs analysis and teaching material feasibility questionnaires. Data analysis is conducted using quantitative descriptive techniques. The e-Ganer product assessment yielded an average score of 94% from the material expert and 87.4% from the teaching material media expert. The product trial with teachers scored 83.3%, while the trial with students scored 85%. As a result, the e-Ganer teaching material is categorized as highly feasible and can be utilized in the educational process to support the achievement of learning objectives. Suggestions for further research include improving digital teaching materials in other subjects based on the need for teaching material development and evaluating the effect of using digital teaching materials on student learning outcomes to support the achievement of learning objectives.Abstrak: Pada pendidikan kontemporer, teknologi digital dimanfaatkan untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran dan mendorong pengembangan keterampilan 4C (berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, kreativitas dan inovasi, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengkaji kelayakan bahan ajar e-Ganer yang difokuskan pada materi mitigasi dan adaptasi bencana. Metodologi penelitian yang dimanfaatkan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model A.D.D.I.E. Pengumpulan data dikerjakan melalui metode non-tes, dengan menggunakan analisis kebutuhan dan kuesioner kelayakan bahan ajar. Analisis data dikerjakan dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Rata-rata hasil penilaian produk e-Ganer oleh ahli materi memperoleh skor 94%, oleh ahli media bahan ajar memperoleh skor 87,4%, uji coba produk kepada guru memperoleh skor 83,3%, dan uji coba produk kepada siswa memperoleh skor 85% sehingga bahan ajar e-Ganer termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dan dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pendidikan untuk membantu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah penyempurnaan bahan ajar digital untuk mata pelajaran lain berdasarkan kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ajar serta evaluasi pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar digital terhadap hasil belajar siswa untuk mendukung ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan permasalahan sungai semakin kompleks memerlukan pembelajaran kontekstual yang dapat mengaitkan pembelajaran pada isu-isu lingkungan nyata dan relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kesadaran ekologis diri siswa melalui Environmental-Oriented Problem-Based Learning (EoPBL) berdasarkan indikator variabel dan jenis kelamin siswa. Jenis penelitian quasi experimental melibatkan siswa kelas X3 dan X5 di SMA Islam Kepanjen, Kabupaten Malang, Indonesia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan kuesioner untuk menilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kesadaran ekologis diri. Hasil penelitian bahwa uji non parametrik Mann-Whitney U menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah (sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05) dan kesadaran ekologis diri (sig. (2-tailed) = 0.002 < 0.05) antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Namun, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah (sig. (2-tailed) = p > 0.05) dan kesadaran ekologis diri (sig. (2-tailed) = p > 0.05) berdasarkan jenis kelamin pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Implementasi model EoPBL memberikan perbedaan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kesadaran ekologis siswa kelas eksperimen, nilai rata-rata indikator variabel 90.16 dan 79.14 lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas kontrol 68.45 dan 70.92 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Perbedaan jenis kelamin siswa mempengaruhi tidak adanya perbedaan signifikan antara siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan.Abstract:  Increasingly complex river problems require contextual learning that can link learning to real and relevant environmental issues. This study aims to determine the differences in problem solving skills and ecological self-awareness of students through Environmental-Oriented Problem-Based Learning (EoPBL) based on variable indicators and student gender. The quasi-experimental study involved students from classes X-3 and X-5 at Kepanjen Islamic High School in Malang Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using tests and questionnaires to assess problem-solving and self-ecological awareness abilities. The results showed that the Mann-Whitney U non-parametric test showed a significant difference in problem solving ability (sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05) and self-ecological awareness (sig. (2-tailed) = 0.002 < 0.05) between the experimental and control classes. However, there were no significant differences in problem-solving abilities (sig. (2-tailed) = p > 0.05) and self-ecological awareness (sig. (2-tailed) = p > 0.05) based on gender within the experimental and control classes. The implementation of the EoPBL model provides a significant difference in the problem solving ability and ecological awareness of experimental class students, the average value of variable indicators 90.16 and 79.14 is higher than the control class students 68.45 and 70.92 who use conventional learning models. The difference in student gender affects the absence of significant differences between male students and female students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Geoeducation merupakan salah satu program Geopark Ijen dalam mencapai tujuan di bidang pendidikan, dengan melakukan kunjungan ke geosite secara langsung. Pantai Grajagan merupakan salah satu geosite yang dapat menjadi sumber belajar kontekstual, karena menunjukkan singkapan batuan lava basaltik berstruktur vesikuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi Geosite Pantai Grajagan untuk melakukan geoeducation dalam pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi lapangan secara langsung sebagai data primer, dan studi pustaka sebagai data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk menjelaskan potensi Geosite Pantai Grajagan sebagai laboratorium alam untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Geosite Pantai Grajagan memiliki objek yang dapat dikaji sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran pada materi litosfer. Kajian ini meliputi sejarah geologi regional, proses pembentukan batuan di Geosite Pantai Grajagan, kondisi geologi dan geomorfologi, serta karakterstik batuan, aktivitas manusia, dan kekuatan dan tantangan geoeducation dalam pembelajaran Geografi fisik. Namun, terdapat berbagai tantangan pelaksanaan geoeducation di Geosite Pantai Grajagan, yaitu aksesibilitas, keterbatasan fasilitas edukasi, serta kurangnya integrasi objek kajian dengan capaian pembelajaran pada kurikulum.Abstract:  Geoeducation is one of the Geopark Ijen programs in achieving goals in the field of education, by visiting the geosite directly. Grajagan Beach is one of the geosites that can be a contextual learning resource, because it shows outcrops of vesicular-structured basaltic lava rocks. This research aims to analyze the potential of Grajagan Beach Geosite to conduct geoeducation in physical Geography learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with direct field observation method as primary data, and literature study as secondary data. Data analysis was done descriptively to explain the potential of Grajagan Beach Geosite as a natural laboratory to facilitate physical Geography learning. The results showed that Grajagan Beach Geosite has objects that can be studied in accordance with the learning outcomes on lithosphere material. This study includes regional geological history, rock formation processes at Grajagan Beach Geosite, geological and geomorphological conditions, as well as rock characteristics, human activities, and the strengths and challenges of geoeducation in physical Geography learning. However, there are various challenges to the implementation of geoeducation at Grajagan Beach Geosite, namely accessibility, limited educational facilities, and lack of integration of study objects with learning outcomes in the curriculum.

Abstract

Overcoming the waste problem can be done with various methods such as getting used to waste processing behavior from an early age. Waste processing behavior is included in environmental literacy. This ability involves knowledge, skills, and awareness of various environmental issues. This study was conducted to see the effect of the environmental-based Project Based Learning model on students' environmental literacy. This study used a Quasi Experiment design with a non-equivalent control group design. Students of class VIII of SMPN 24 Malang became the subjects of the study with samples of classes VIII-F and VIII-G. The analysis method used the Independent Sample T-Test to see the differences between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the test results, it was found that there was a significant difference in the post-test scores of the two classes. This proves that the project-based learning model is more effective in improving environmental literacy in students.

Abstract

In response to curriculum changes at Banyuwangi High School incorporating Geopark Ijen into educational content, this study investigates the impact of Immersive Virtual Field (IVF) media on students' learning interests. Employing a quantitative survey and a sample of 50 students selected through simple random sampling, the study examines the correlation between students' perceptions of IVF at Ijen Geosite Geopark and their learning interest. Data were gathered via questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression, supplemented by qualitative interviews. Findings indicate a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of IVF media and their learning interest, with an average perception rating of 93.2%. The study highlights that positive emotions elicited by engaging with IVF media, such as happiness and enthusiasm, significantly enhance learning experiences by boosting motivation, engagement, cognitive functions, and ultimately, educational content retention. This research underscores the potential of immersive technologies to transform traditional learning environments by fostering more engaging and effective educational experiences.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are needed in geography lessons because they are closely related to solving geospheric problems that occur in the environment around students. Critical thinking skills are low because learning tends to be one-way or teacher centered, using conventional methods. The purpose of the study was to improve students' critical thinking skills by applying the Problem Based Learning model in geography subjects. The research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the subject of class X-F MAN 1 Malang students totaling 32 students. Data collection using a test totaling 6 description questions that are adjusted to the indicators of critical thinking. Analysis of research data using quantitative descriptive. The results showed an increase of 43% from pre-cycle to cycle I with an average of 72.19 and increased by 17% in cycle II with an average of 84.38. Thus, after the application of the PBL model in geography lessons there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) is a problem-oriented learning model as the beginning of combining new knowledge with experience. The advantages of the PjBL model are able to spur students in creative thinking and can increase students to understand the theory learned along with creativity in applying their understanding to a project. The application of the PjBL model requires a variety of learning media that helps students in the process of collaboration and exploration, namely through google sites. This study aimed to determine the effect of PjBL, facilitated by Google Sites, on students' creative thinking in geography education. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, using an independent T-test to analyze the impact of PjBL on creative thinking skills. The research subjects included students from classes X-8 and X-9 at State Senior High School 7 Malang, selected based on purposive sampling to ensure similar baseline characteristics. The results and discussion show that project-based learning assisted by google sites is able to encourage students' creative thinking, especially those related to fluent thinking. It was proven by the acquisition of Independent Sample T test value Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.040 <0.05. Thus, it can be said that the project-based learning model assisted by google sites in geography subjects affects students' creative thinking skills. The findings include: 1) students are very active and enthusiastic during the learning process, 2) female students have better creative thinking skills than male students.

Abstract

The challenges of geography learning in the 21st century are increasingly complex, especially in developing students' creative thinking skills to face the dynamics of globalization and rapid environmental changes. The Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model is able to be an effective solution to encourage students to think innovatively and creatively in solving geography problems. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of the Creative Problem-Solving model supported by Google Sites affects students' ability to think creatively on disaster mitigation materials. Quasi-experiment is applied as a method with a type of nonequivalent control group design. This study involved two groups of students from XI Social Science MAN Batu City. 36 students from class XI Social Science 1 were used for the experimental class and 36 students from XI Social Science 4 were used as group classes. Using 9 essay questions as a post-test test. The results of the study explained that creative t hinking skills in disaster mitigation materials are significantly influenced by the Creative Problem-Solving model assisted by Google Sites, especially on fluency and originality, thereby improving students' ability to analyze, plan, and implement effective solutions to a disaster.

Abstract

This research contains a study of efforts to strengthen the cultural insights of Indonesian Johor Bahru School (SIJB) students, Malaysia through virtual reality-based learning media for cultural heritage. The focus of this research is to develop Web Indonesian Tangible Heritage learning media equipped with virtual reality technology. The development method used is ADDIE, consisting of 5 stages, namely: 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The study was conducted on 91 junior high school (SMP) students at SIJB, Malaysia. The results of the study show that the Web Indonesian Tangible Heritage learning media equipped with virtual reality technology has functionality that can work well, is able to strengthen cultural insights according to the target, and gets a positive response from users. Most students agree that learning integrated with technology can increase motivation in learning and improve understanding of the material.

Abstract

Pelatihan pengembangan media Animation Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran imersif guna mendukung implementasi Merdeka Belajar. Pembelajaran di SDN 2 Ngijo masih teoritis dan belum sepenuhnya berbasis teknologi karena guru kekurangan waktu dalam pengembangan media dan belum memperoleh pelatihan pembelajaran berbasis digital virtual secara intensif. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru dalam membuat serta mengimplementasikan teknologi AR di SD Negeri 2 Ngijo, sehingga guru dapat menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan efektif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra, maka perlu diadakan pelatihan pengembangan media Animation Augmented Reality untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas guru dalam designing immersive learning media.
