Abstract

This study explores the historical dynamics of Kejeruan Senembah as a local power entity in East Sumatra during the period 1862–1946. The main focus is to trace the continuity and transformation of political authority in the context of colonial governance and social change in the region. Kejeruan Senembah originated as a traditional institution established with the endorsement of the Aceh Sultanate and later evolved into a crucial component within the political structure of the Deli Sultanate. This research employs the historical method, encompassing four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The primary sources include colonial archives, local literature, interviews with key informants, and visual documents such as maps and photographs from KITLV and Delpher collections. The findings reveal that Kejeruan Senembah played a strategic role in maintaining local stability through a customary Karo-based social structure and served as an intermediary between colonial authorities, the sultanate, and indigenous communities. However, Dutch intervention and the shifting political landscape leading up to and following Indonesian independence triggered changes in the power structure, culminating in territorial fragmentation and the transformation of political legitimacy after 1946. This study concludes that the case of Kejeruan Senembah is vital in reconstructing regional historical narratives that have often been marginalized in national historiography.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis koleksi pustaha laklak milik Museum Negeri Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan no. inventaris 07.43 yang berisi tentang poda ni rambu modom. Ritual tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan perlindungan dari gangguan metafisik yang diterima oleh seorang pemilik rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan sekaligus menafsirkan poda ni rambu modom sebagai mekanisme rasa aman bagi Masyarakat Batak di masa lalu. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, termasuk observasi terhadap koleksi 07.43, wawancara dengan ahli filolofi di museum, dan analisis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa naskah terdiri dari 87 halaman, akan tetapi hanya sepuluh halaman awal yang berkaitan dengan poda ni rambu modom. Halaman-halaman tersebut mencerminkan bagaimana Masyarakat Batak di masa lalu menempuh berbagai cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan rasa aman, salah satunya dengan mengembangkan sistem mitigasi melalui ilmu magis.

Abstract

Desa Wakah mempunyai komoditas utama ketela pohon/singkong dan hasil pertanian hortikultura. Di Desa Wakah terdapat UMKM “Gethuk Anyar” yang memproduksi gethuk singkong dalam skala besar, yang menghasilkan limbah kulit singkong rata-rata 80 kg per hari. Limbah kulit singkong belum banyak dimanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga menimbulkan bau busuk, penumpukan sampah, dan lingkungan yang tidak bersih. Tim pengabdian masyarakat akan melakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan limbah singkong menjadi produk berupa pupuk kompos, pupuk organik cair dan pakan fermentasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret dan April 2020 dengan peserta sebanyak 30 orang dari karang taruna desa Wakah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi, diskusi dan praktik langsung dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah karang taruna Desa Wakah mampu memanfaatkan limbah  kulit  singkong  menjadi  produk  pendukung agrikultura berupa pupuk kompos, pupuk organik cair, pakan fermentasi. Tingkat pemahaman serta skill karang taruna Desa Wakah dalam mengolah limbah kulit singkong menjadi produk pendukung agrikultura sebanyak 85% dan menenuhi target penelitian. Masyarakat juga berkomitmen untuk mengembangkan produk secara mandiri. Sinergisitas antara masyarakat, pemerintah dan dunia industri diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah kulit singkong menjadi produk yang bermanfaatKata Kunci: fermentasi, kulit singkong, pupuk organik. Wakah Village Community Empowerment Through Utilization of Cassava Peel Waste (Manihot esculenta)ABSTRACTDesa Wakah has cassava and several horticultural products as its main commodity. There is a homemade production "Gethuk Anyar" which produces “Gethuk Singkong”, a kind of traditional foods, on a large scale. As the consequences, this production brings cassava peel waste approximately up to 80 kg per day. This waste has not been used optimally, thus it causes foul odors, garbage buildup, and a polluted environment as well. Based on that problem, the researchers conduct some training programs on the utilization of cassava peel waste into several products namely: compost, liquid organic fertilizer, and fermented food for animal. This activity was carried out between March and April 2020 with 30 participants from the Karang Taruna (youth) group. Those programs consist of providing materials, facilitating discussions, and conducting workshops with a participatory approach. The result of the programs shows that Wakah community was able to utilize cassava peel waste into three agricultural supporting products; those are: compost, liquid organic fertilizer, animal fermented food. In addition, the value of participants’ understanding and skill in processing the waste was up to 85% and it meets the standard research target. Moreover, the community is also committed to develop products independently. The synergy between Wakah community, the local government and the industry workplace is expected to increase community empowerment activities in processing cassava peel waste into some useful products.Key Words: fermentation, cassava peel, organic fertilizer.

Abstract

SDN 1 Ngendut merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Balong Kabupaten Ponorogo Jawa Timur. SDN 1 Ngendut merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar dalam kategori 3T, karena tidak adanya fasilitas yang memadai untuk menunjang belajar siswa baik dalam aspek literasi dan numerasi maupun adaptasi teknologi. Sekolah dasar ini dipilih sebagai sasaran karena kondisi dan keberadaannya di kawasan tertinggal yang mana sekolah dengan kondisi tersebut merupakan sasaran prioritas nasional. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: 1. Mengenalkan bantuan kepada guru untuk melaksanakan kegiatan mengajar dengan mengimplementasikan aspek literasi dan numerasi. 2. Memberikan edukasi terkait adaptasi teknologi kepada siswa-siswi SDN 1 Ngendut dengan memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan computer. Metode yang dilakukan meliputi Survey, Penyusunan program, Realisasi program, Pendampingan, Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa SDN 1 Ngendut, peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengimplementasikan aspek literasi dan numerasi di kelas. Peningkatan skill terhadap adaptasi teknologi baik untuk siswa maupun guru.

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan sebuah proses yang menjadi kunci tercapainya tujuan belajar. Apabila proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan baik maka hasil belajar akan baik.. Agar pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik guru perlu mempersiapkan sumber, media, model, metode dan teknik pembelajaran yang disajikan dalam perangkat pembelajaran. Namun, saat keadaan seperti saat ini yang dilanda pandemi kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak bisa dilaksanakan dengan tatap muka, untuk itu pembelajaran dalam jaringan menjadi suatu pilihan. Melalui pelatihan E-Learning diharapkan guru memiliki kemampuan dan dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan metode e learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan e learning terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan pembelajaran e learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru ekonomi di Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 16 orang. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan setelah mengikuti pelatihan e learning terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran e learning.

Abstract

Financial literacy of prospective teachers in the 4.0 era plays an important role in relation to realizing sustainable human resources. This study aims to determine the influence between the financial literacy of prospective economics teachers in the 4.0 era on the formation of sustainable human resources. This study used quantitative methods. Data was collected by questionnaire dissemination techniques through google forms. The respondents in this study were 188 active student representatives from the classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 in students of the economic education study program FKIP University of Lampung. The data were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive. The results of this study show that the financial literacy of prospective economics teachers in the 4.0 era is related to the formation of sustainable human resources. This is proven by a simple linear regression analysis with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that the financial literacy of prospective economics teachers in the 4.0 era has a significant effect on sustainable human resource development with an influence of 71.1% and 28.9% influence by other factors that were not studied in this study. Research recommendations should be that higher education institutions can massively foster integrated financial literacy in learning and provide contextual experiences such as the practice of investing through the capital market, saving, and using several financial applications related to financial transactions in everyday life.Keywords: Financial Literacy, Sustainable Human Resources FormationDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v7i1.28-33

Abstract

The development of the times has influenced changes in various areas of life, one of which is finance. The financial field that has undergone changes is transaction activities. In the past, transaction payment activities were carried out by exchanging goods or barter, but at this time it is developing using digital-based transaction payments. These changes occur due to technological advances, financial understanding, and the development of the digital economy. This study aims to determine the influence of technological advances, financial literacy, and perceptions of ease of use of e-wallets on consumers of Chandra supermarket Mall Boemi Kedaton Bandar Lampung. This research is quantitative using descriptive verifiative methods with ex post facto approach and surveys. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling techniques. The population in this study was consumers of Chandra supermarket Mall Boemi Bandar Lampung with 75 consumers as a sample. The data analysis method uses SPSS version 25 by testing the hypothesis through a simple linear regression test and multiple regression test. This research reveals that technological advancements, financial literacy, and perceived convenience have a positive effect on the use of e-wallets. Abstract

A workforce with professional competence is a need for market share in the current era. This effort can be taken through the world of education, one of which is by implementing fieldwork practices. This study aims to determine the effect of fieldwork practices, information on the world of work, and motivation to enter the world of work on job readiness. The research method uses descriptive verification with ex post facto approach and survey. The population in the study was class XII students majoring in marketing SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung with non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. SPSS software-assisted testing and data processing. The results of this study show that there is an influence of fieldwork practices, information on the world of work, and motivation to enter the world of work on the job readiness of class XII students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. Abstract

The curriculum is an important part of education. To realize quality human resources, a curriculum that accommodates various competencies and skills is needed. Curriculum changes are necessary to adapt to current needs and prepare for the future. This research aims to understand the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in terms of school readiness in Lampung Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research informants include 5 (five) educators from several high schools in Lampung Province. Data collection was conducted using in-depth interviews and observations, supported by literature studies. The research results show that 1) There are still differences in teachers' perceptions regarding the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum due to several differences in understanding, which are suspected to be caused by varying intensities in participating in socialization or experiences in attending activities related to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum organized by the Education Office or through sharing experiences with colleagues in the MGMP forum, as well as not yet maximizing independent study through various sites facilitated by the Ministry of Education and other internet sources. 2) The school's readiness is good, but there is still a need for improvement in the provision of facilities and budget to maximize learning outcomes. 3) The educators' readiness is good, but supervision is still needed in the implementation of the Program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5).DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/E3J/v7.i2.182-189
