Abstract

Sektor pertanian memiliki peranan penting bagi pembangunan perekonomian nasional, terutama negara yang berada di kawasan ASEAN dengan iklim yang sangat cocok untuk kegiatan pertanian. Perdagangan produk pertanian antarnegara ASEAN dari segi ekspor mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap, namun ekspor keluar kawasan sangat besar. Rasio ekspor yang lebih rendah di kawasan ASEAN dapat disebabkan oleh produk pertanian ASEAN yang sangat kompetitif, tetapi hal ini tidak dapat meningkatkan rasio impor antarnegara. Kondisi ini menjelaskan bahwa belum optimalnya pemanfaatan peluang dalam kegiatan perdagangan di kawasan ASEAN. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi aliran perdagangan produk pertanian antarnegara ASEAN. Data yang digunakan peneliti adalah data sekunder di sektor pertanian periode 2013 sampai 2022 dengan variabel GDP masing-masing negara di ASEAN, GDP per kapita, populasi, jarak ekonomi, dan nilai tukar. Data diolah dengan pendekatan model gravity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa variabel independen yang berpengaruh positif dan dan signifikan adalah populasi negara asal, populasi negara mitra, GDP per kapita negara asal dan GDP per kapita negara mitra, sementara jarak ekonomi memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap model aliran perdagangan produk pertanian antarnegara ASEAN. Untuk mendukung aliran perdagangan produk pertanian, perlu dikakukan pembangunan infrastruktur pelabuhan pada masing-masing negara di kawasan ASEAN dengan cara meningkatkan kapasitas pelabuhan, pengembangan pelabuhan, serta sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung efisiensi keberlangsungan proses ekpor dan impor produk pertanian. Peningkatan kualitas produk pertanian perlu dilakukan agar sesuai dengan standar negara tujuan ekspor dan mampu bersaing.

Abstract

The rubber commodity in Ogan Ilir Regency plays an important role in increasing family income, but currently, the income of rubber farmers is still relatively low because farmers are still traditional in their marketing, causing the prices received by farmers to be low. The objectives of this study are to 1) Identify the functions of rubber marketing institutions in Ogan Ilir Regency, 2) Analyze the efficiency of rubber marketing in Ogan Ilir Regency.. Sampling was carried out randomly. 75 samples were used in this research, with a population of rubber farmers, namely 236 farmers in Tanjung Batu District and 254 in Payaraman District. Locations were chosen purposively based on the same considerations: the subdistricts and villages that produce the largest rubber production. Data collection uses cross-section data. Rubber marketing efficiency is analyzed using marketing margin, farmer's share, profit to cost ratio and the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. The research results show that rubber farmers in Ogan Ilir Regency use three marketing channel patterns. Based on the analysis of rubber marketing efficiency, it is recommended that rubber farmers in Ogan Ilir Regency use marketing channel 1, namely farmers-UPPB-factories and marketing channel 3, namely farmers-wholesalers-factories.

Abstract

Kegiatan perdagangan internasional menjadi salah satu objek fundamental dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dalam kerja sama perdagangan satu dengan yang lainnya. Kegiatan perdagangan semakin bebas dan terus mengalami peningkatan seiring perkembangan waktu. Ekspor dan impor terus dilakukan seiring perkembangan zaman. PBB adalah organisasi induk yang menghimpun banyak negara untuk saling terbuka dan melihat permasalahan dunia sekarang. PBB menaungi banyak instititusi sesuai dengan fokusnya masing-masing contohnya UNESCO, UN WOMEN, UNEP, ECOSOC, dan lainnya. ECOSOC menjadi organisasi yang bertujuan untuk mendukung kerja sama perdagangan dunia serta menjadi problem solving bagi permasalahan ekonomi dunia mengingat pertumbuhan ekonomi menjadi salah satu indeks kemajuan suatu negara. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi aliran perdagangan pada negara yang tergabung dalam ECOSOC 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan model gravity dengan variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini seperti GDP, GDP perkapita, Populasi, jarak dan nilai tukar yang bersumber dari Trade Map, UN Comtrade, World Bank Data dan CEPII. 16 Negara yang dipilih mewakili setiap benua dan memiliki kuantitas yang tinggi terhadap variabel yang diuji. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa variabel GDP perkapita negara reporter dan GDP perkapita negara partner berpengaruh secara positif dan signfikan, sedangkan variabel GDP negara partner berpengaruh signfikan namun negatif. ECOSOC sebagai organisasi dengan fokus dalam bidang kerjasama sosial dan isu ekonomi dunia perlu memberikan intervensi kebijakan dalam mendukung negara-negara dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors that influence the improvement of optimization of company performance, analyze the performance of human resources at PT Rekadaya Elektrika, and formulate alternative strategies of PT rekadaya elektrika in the face of high market competition seen from SDM performance. This research method uses quantitative with the number of respondents as much as 5 out of 3 from the internal and 2 from the external. Data analysis techniques using IFE, EFE, SWOT and QSP Matrix Analysis. Data analysis results on IFE marks weigh 2,722, while on EFE matrix weighs 2,924. Research results show that IE Matrix is in the quarter 5 that is growth and stable. Whereas the alternative strategy that is the first priority of the QSP Matrix results is social protection and employee welfare (remuneration) with an attractive score value of 6,033. The results of the descriptive analysis on the HR Score Card explain that the competency development perspective is the focus of the company to the vision of the mission of the enterprise. The managerial implications of this study can provide increased productivity, improved employee retention and optimized SDM with employee protection and welfare strategies.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought positive changes to the digital health industry in Indonesia. Kimia Farma Mobile is a mobile health application that offers comprehensive features for its users. The difference in ratings on Google Play Store and Apple App Store can influence trust (brand trust) and customer satisfaction with this application. The quality of electronic services, such as application interface, delivery quality, and transaction security, is increasingly crucial in influencing customer evaluations and ratings. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the factors influencing customer satisfaction with this application. The research was conducted quantitatively online through Google Form. The sampling method used convenience sampling and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Analysis Moment of Structural (SEM-AMOS). The research findings indicate that e-service quality significantly affects brand trust and customer satisfaction. This suggests that to improve brand trust and customer satisfaction, the mobile health application should be user-friendly and secure. Furthermore, brand trust significantly influences customer satisfaction. This implies that to enhance customer satisfaction, the mobile health application should provide educational and accurate information and offer customer guarantees.

Abstract

Problems faced by fast food products in the form of sausage from PT Primafood International with the brand Champ is lost competitor with competitors and sales tend to fluctuate throughout the year. This study was conducted with the objectives formulated from the description of the background. This research aims to 1) Identify internal and external factors of the company in marketing ready-to-eat sausage products, 2) Formulate strategies that can be done by companies to improve the marketing of ready-to-eat sausage on the market regarding products, prices, promotion and distribution. 3) Recommend the best strategy from various alternative strategies that can be formulated The method of analysis used is SWOT analysis. The result of this research is the formulation of alternative marketing strategy obtained by external and internal factors is to cooperate with partner, product differentiation, joint promotion with Charoen Pokphand group, and educative promotion. Based on the SWOT-ANP results, it is found that educational promotion is the priority of the main strategy recommended.

Abstract

CV Si Bolang Durian merupakan sebuah usaha gerai durian di Kota Medan yang sedang berkembang. Dalam meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan, CV Si Bolang Durian berupaya mencari perencanaan pemasaran yang lebih ideal. Penurunan penjualan yang terjadi pada tiap tahunnya menunjukkan angka yang cukup signifikan. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa perencanaan pemasaran CV Si Bolang Durian saat ini kurang ideal untuk bersaing dengan kompetitornya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi ekuitas merek dari gerai buah durian Si Bolang Durian (CV Si Bolang Durian). Analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM) dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktro apa saja yang mempengaruhi ekuitas merek dari gerai Si Bolang Durian. Selanjutnya menetukan strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk meningktakan ekuitas merek dari hasil yang telah di dapat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, seluruh variabel yang ada tidak semua memiliki t-hitung diatas 1,96. Variabel brand awareness, brand association dan brand loyalty (3,63, 4,66 dan 3,22) mengindikasikan bahwa brand equity dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh ketiga variabel tersebut. Sedangkan brand perceived quality yang memiliki t-hitung dibawah 1,96, yaitu 0,26 mengindikasikan bahwa brand equity tidak dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh variabel tersebut. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa untuk meningkat ekuitas mereknya, Si Bolang Durian harus meningkat ataupun membangun staretegi pemasaran yang tepat dari sisi brand awareness, brand association dan brand loyalty.

Abstract

Pepper (Piper nigrum) is one of the most exported spices in Indonesia followed by cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla. Due to its strong dependency on international trade, Indonesian pepper exports are suspected to be prone to exchange rate volatility risks. Traditionally, exchange rate volatility is perceived to discourage exports. However, studies to date remain to provide an open question on whether volatile exchange rates discourage exports. This paper aims to examine the impact of exchange rate volatility on Indonesian pepper exports to its main trading partners from 2005 to 2019. Using gravity model and GARCH (1,1) for volatility measurement, the results reveal that Indonesian pepper exports are not affected significantly by exchange rate volatility. This is because Indonesia has been in the position as a net exporter of pepper where a majority of its production is consumed abroad and pepper only costs a small percentage of the total cost of food productions. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the technical and resource-use efficiency of East Java. The secondary data were used from the Paddy Cultivation Household Survey ST2013 handled by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The data was cross-sectional and were derived from ST2013 in 2014. The stochastic frontier analysis analyzed the factors that drive rice output and quantified rice production's technical efficiency. In contrast, the marginal value product-marginal factor cost (MVP-MFC) approach was used to quantify resource-use efficiency in rice production. The SFA indicated that these factors positively affect rice output except for seed, fertilizer, labor, and land utilization. However, other factors were considered apart from the land size, such as exaggerated land and labor advantage in production and bad seed and fertilizer utilization. Technical efficiency varies considerably among rice farmers, ranging from 1 percent to 100 percent, with an average of 89 percent. Their technical inefficiency was influenced by their group membership, irrigation, credit, education level, and farmer age - external farm insect pests. The government and the private sector are involved in the programs through farmer groups. Abstract

Large-scale companies carry out forestry industry export activities. PT SLJ Global Tbk is one of the actors in this activity. The research’s objectives are to analyze the factors that affect the company's plywood exports and to identify the managerial policies of the company's plywood exports. This research uses secondary data in the form of monthly time series data form January 2014 to December 2020. The Error Correction Model (ECM) is used to analyze the factors that affect the company’s plywood export volume. The factors that have a positive and significant effect in the long-term model are the production volume and the previous period's production volume. The factors that have a positive and significant effect on the short-term model are production volume, export prices, international prices, and production volumes for the previous period. The managerial implications are increasing productivity, maintaining production stability, increasing plywood quality, and increasing export marketing. Suggestions for company are to maintain the stability of raw materials, innovate products, increase investment, require new markets, and analyze and evaluate marketing and its correlation with the company's production aspects.
