Abstract

The potential for developing and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit for the younger generation in RW 15, Kampung Sejahtera Mandiri (KSM) Teras Pancasila, which is assisted by the Office of Cooperatives & MSMEs, Tangerang City, Banten Province, is enormous. One of the reasons for its strategic location as the entrance route to the west of Jakarta. However, the development and fostering of entrepreneurial spirit is still not optimal because the level of education of most of the target audience is high school graduates who rarely or may never get knowledge of entrepreneurship and business management. Many potential creative ideas for running a business have not been explored optimally either. The purpose of this MSME Management Management Improvement Training is expected to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the young generation so that they always have thoughts of improving their own business by making good use of existing resources and capital to create products, innovating packaging of goods that have economic value. For those who have not started it are expected to be more courageous in opening various businesses but in a well-planned manner.

Abstract

Housing development needs to be supported by particular guidelines issued by authorized institute for the achievement of development feasibility. Community participation as the main actors and users also took an important part for housing development to fit the target. Community disappointment is often caused by results that do not match the desires or not according to standards. The aim of this study was to find the preferences of the community related to the housing environment to be occupied, so it can open the new possibility in planning and designing the housing environment. This research uses exploratory qualitative and grounded theory method. Data collection is done through an open-ended online questionnaire and shared freely (non-random sampling). The collected data was analyzed qualitatively using the content analysis methods. The result showed that the five aspects that become the preference of residential environment (5 PRE) namely: environmental comfort, environmental facilities, environmental infrastructure, location and accessibility, building and residential environment design.

Abstract

The development of Islamic fintech in Indonesia faces user trust challenges despite offering financial services based on sharia principles. This research aims to analyze the influence of sharia contract transparency on user trust and its implications for increasing Islamic fintech usage. The research method employs a literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing trusted journal articles using keywords "Islamic fintech", "sharia transparency", "user trust", and "sharia-based digital financial innovation". The research findings indicate that sharia contract transparency plays a crucial role in building user trust by providing clear information regarding contract types, transaction mechanisms, rights and obligations, as well as sharia legal foundations. Transparency is capable of reducing risk perception and uncertainty, while simultaneously increasing public sharia financial literacy. Trust functions as a mediating variable that bridges sharia principle transparency with the increase in Islamic fintech usage. This research affirms that contract transparency is not merely a normative obligation, but also an effective business strategy for building long-term relationships with users and strengthening the competitiveness of the Islamic finance industry. Practically, the research findings can serve as a reference for Islamic fintech providers in designing more transparent and accountable operational communication, as well as providing input for regulators in strengthening Islamic fintech governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi, seperti Universitas Majalengka, memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan pendidikan akademik dan profesional. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan akademik, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Majalengka merancang aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) untuk memprediksi perkembangan Indeks Prestasi (IP) mahasiswa. Dengan tujuan memantau dan membantu mahasiswa dalam merencanakan studi mereka, aplikasi ini menggabungkan teknologi informasi dan algoritma KNN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil memprediksi kemajuan IP mahasiswa secara akurat. Dosen pembimbing akademik dapat menggunakan prediksi ini untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada mahasiswa yang berpotensi mengalami penurunan nilai. Dengan pendekatan waterfall dalam pengembangan sistem aplikasi, serta implementasi metode KNN, aplikasi ini menjadi alat yang berharga dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Majalengka. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini membawa manfaat bagi dosen, Fakultas Teknik, dan mahasiswa, membantu mereka dalam merencanakan strategi peningkatan prestasi akademik. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dan prediksi yang tepat, aplikasi ini mendukung pencapaian visi dan misi Fakultas Teknik untuk berperan aktif dalam pembangunan teknologi, ilmu pengetahuan, dan seni nasional.

Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan komoditas pertanian penting yang memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung perekonomian petani di Kabupaten Majalengka, namun budidayanya rentan terhadap risiko seperti hama, penyakit, dan perubahan cuaca ekstrem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Manajemen Risiko Bawang Merah berbasis mobile dengan pendekatan User Centered Design (UCD) untuk menciptakan sistem yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Proses desain dilakukan melalui empat tahapan UCD, yaitu memahami konteks penggunaan, menentukan kebutuhan pengguna, merancang solusi desain, dan mengevaluasi hasil desain. Keterlibatan petani sebagai pengguna utama dilakukan melalui wawancara, pembuatan wireframe, dan uji coba prototipe high-fidelity. Evaluasi usability menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) melibatkan delapan responden berusia 24–60 tahun dengan skor rata-rata 68,75 yang masuk kategori "Good" atau "Suitable for Use". Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa desain antarmuka yang dikembangkan memenuhi standar kegunaan, mudah dipahami, dan relevan dengan konteks kegiatan pertanian. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode UCD terbukti efektif dalam menghasilkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis mobile yang berorientasi pada pengalaman pengguna, dan mampu membantu petani dalam memantau kondisi lahan, risiko hama, dan mengelola kegiatan pertanian secara lebih efisien.

Abstract

Ketidakpastian iklim menjadi tantangan utama dalam sektor pertanian, seringkali menyebabkan kegagalan panen akibat kesalahan penentuan jadwal tanam. Meskipun teknologi digital menawarkan solusi, tingkat adopsi di kalangan petani masih rendah karena rendahnya literasi digital dan antarmuka aplikasi yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) adaptif berbasis Bot WhatsApp yang mampu mendeteksi status musim secara otomatis untuk memberikan rekomendasi jadwal tanam yang presisi. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode Rule-Based System dengan mesin inferensi Forward Chaining yang mengintegrasikan data prediksi Zona Musim (ZOM) BMKG. Berbeda dengan aplikasi konvensional, sistem ini meminimalkan input pengguna dengan mengotomatisasi deteksi variabel agroklimat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memberikan rekomendasi komoditas (Padi, Jagung, Cabai) yang sesuai dengan kondisi lahan (Irigasi/Tadah Hujan) dan status musim real-time. Penggunaan antarmuka percakapan WhatsApp terbukti efektif menurunkan hambatan interaksi teknologi, memungkinkan petani mendapatkan panduan jadwal tanam yang akurat tanpa perlu mempelajari navigasi perangkat lunak yang rumit.

Abstract

Perencanaan panen yang akurat merupakan aspek penting dalam manajemen pertanian modern untuk meminimalkan risiko penurunan produktivitas akibat cuaca dan kondisi lingkungan yang tidak menentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang antarmuka dan sistem prediksi hasil panen adaptif yang berfungsi sebagai Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dalam membantu proses perencanaan panen. Sistem dikembangkan dengan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD) yang menekankan pemahaman kebutuhan pengguna melalui analisis konteks, perancangan solusi alternatif, dan evaluasi prototipe. Sistem ini menyediakan prediksi hasil panen berdasarkan faktor cuaca, kondisi tanaman pada tiap fase pertumbuhan, dan riwayat panen sehingga mampu memberikan rekomendasi adaptif bagi petani. Evaluasi kegunaan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) melibatkan 16 responden yang menguji prototipe antarmuka. Hasil SUS menunjukkan skor rata-rata 73,59 yang termasuk kategori “Baik” dan “Dapat Diterima”, menandakan antarmuka mudah dipahami dan efektif digunakan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan pertanian berbasis UI/UX yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan pengguna. Accurate harvest planning is a crucial aspect of modern agricultural management, helping farmers minimize productivity risks caused by unpredictable weather and environmental conditions. This study aims to design an interface and an adaptive harvest prediction system that functions as a Decision Support System to assist farmers in making informed planting and harvesting decisions.The system was developed using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, emphasizing a deep understanding of user needs through context analysis, alternative solution design, and prototype evaluation. The system integrates harvest prediction features based on weather factors, crop conditions at different growthstages, and historical harvest data, enabling it to provide adaptive recommendations tailored to farmers’ situations. To evaluate the system’s usability, a System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment was conducted with 16 respondents who tested the interface prototype. The SUS results indicated an average score of 73.59, which falls into the “Good” and “Acceptable” categories. This suggests that the interface is easy to understand, effective to use, and provides a satisfying user experience. Overall, this research contributes to the development of user-centered, UI/UX-based agricultural decision support systems and offers a structured approach to designing technology solutions that are relevant and adaptable to farmers’ needs.

Abstract

The increasing demand for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) has encouraged the development of efficient predictive approaches for optimizing jet fuel production from renewable feedstocks. Conventional experimental optimization methods are often time-consuming and expensive because hydroprocessing performance is strongly influenced by feedstock characteristics, catalyst composition, and operating conditions. In this study, machine learning (ML) techniques were applied to predict jet fuel yield using a dataset compiled from approximately 50 published scientific articles. The dataset consisted of 101 experimental observations involving different feedstock groups, catalyst metal groups, catalyst supports, catalyst loading, free fatty acid (FFA) content, temperature, pressure, and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV). The ML workflow was developed using Orange Data Mining software and included data preprocessing, feature selection, imputation, model training, and performance evaluation. Four regression algorithms, namely Random Forest, Linear Regression, Neural Network, and Gradient Boosting, were evaluated using 10-fold cross-validation. The Gradient Boosting model achieved the best predictive performance with an RMSE of 7.172, MAE of 5.314, MAPE of 10.026%, and R2 value of 0.286 during cross-validation. Feature ranking analysis indicated that catalyst support type, feedstock group, catalyst metal group, and FFA content were among the most influential variables affecting jet fuel yield.

Abstract

Diabetic foot complications constitute a major contributor to preventable lower-extremity amputation, yet primary care screening remains inconsistent due to the absence of integrated digital tools implementing validated clinical protocols. This study presents the design, implementation, and system-centric evaluation of Podiatrix, a mobile web application that operationalizes Inlow's 60-Second Diabetic Foot Screen through an automated, condition-based clinical workflow. Unlike existing tools that address isolated screening criteria, Podiatrix implements all seven Inlow criteria within a unified five-step wizard and applies a deterministic hierarchical classification engine that directly mirrors the original Inlow protocol logic rather than relying on fixed score thresholds. The system was evaluated using three complementary methods: black-box testing across 50 simulated clinical scenarios, Nielsen's heuristic usability evaluation conducted by three independent evaluators, and performance load testing using Apache JMeter under concurrent user conditions. Results demonstrated 100% classification accuracy (50/50 scenarios) matching manual Inlow protocol interpretation, an average heuristic severity score of 1.15 out of 4 indicating high usability, and a mean response time of 820 ms with less than 1% error rate under 100 concurrent users. These findings confirm that Podiatrix provides a computationally robust, highly usable, and scalable digital infrastructure that lays the groundwork for future prospective clinical trials in primary care and community health settings.

Abstract

Masalah utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan alat bantu prediksi yang akurat sekaligus mudah dipahami pengguna dalam pengambilan keputusan budidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dashboard visualisasi yang terintegrasi dalam Decision Support System (DSS) untuk mendukung prediksi hasil panen padi berbasis pembelajaran mesin (supervised learning). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain analitik–eksperimen berbasis data sekunder historis dari lima wilayah pertanian. Variabel yang dianalisis mencakup faktor cuaca (curah hujan, suhu, kelembapan), jenis tanah, dan praktik pertanian sebagai prediktor, dengan hasil panen padi sebagai variabel dependen. Model prediksi utama menggunakan regresi linear berganda sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran terawasi yang dapat diinterpretasi, diikuti integrasi hasil prediksi dan indikator statistik ke dalam dashboard web interaktif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan dan suhu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil panen padi, sementara jenis tanah juga berkontribusi terhadap variasi hasil panen. Dashboard yang dikembangkan menyajikan ringkasan metrik model, tren historis, dan komponen perbandingan prediksi–aktual sehingga memudahkan interpretasi bagi pengguna. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa DSS berbasis model prediktif dan visualisasi data berpotensi meningkatkan ketepatan pengambilan keputusan pada sektor pertanian.
