Abstract

Abstract

Path planning is a fundamental problem in mobile robot navigation that requires efficient route optimization while avoiding obstacles. This study implements the Ant System method to solve the mobile robot path planning problem using a modeling and simulation approach in a structured environment. The path planning process utilizes pheromone mechanisms and heuristic information to determine an optimal path from the initial state to the goal state. A total of ten simulation experiments were conducted with variations in the number of intermediate coordinates, iterations, and ants. The results show that the proposed method successfully generated collision-free paths in all experiments, with path lengths ranging from 31.4915 to 32.6788 units. The analysis indicates that the balance between the number of intermediate coordinates, iterations, and ants significantly affects path quality, where well-balanced parameters produce smoother and more stable trajectories. Overall, the Ant System method achieved a 100% success rate, demonstrating its effectiveness and reliability for mobile robot path planning in structured environments.

Abstract

The development of Islamic fintech in Indonesia faces user trust challenges despite offering financial services based on sharia principles. This research aims to analyze the influence of sharia contract transparency on user trust and its implications for increasing Islamic fintech usage. The research method employs a literature study with a qualitative approach, analyzing trusted journal articles using keywords "Islamic fintech", "sharia transparency", "user trust", and "sharia-based digital financial innovation". The research findings indicate that sharia contract transparency plays a crucial role in building user trust by providing clear information regarding contract types, transaction mechanisms, rights and obligations, as well as sharia legal foundations. Transparency is capable of reducing risk perception and uncertainty, while simultaneously increasing public sharia financial literacy. Trust functions as a mediating variable that bridges sharia principle transparency with the increase in Islamic fintech usage. This research affirms that contract transparency is not merely a normative obligation, but also an effective business strategy for building long-term relationships with users and strengthening the competitiveness of the Islamic finance industry. Practically, the research findings can serve as a reference for Islamic fintech providers in designing more transparent and accountable operational communication, as well as providing input for regulators in strengthening Islamic fintech governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

The issue of meditation continues to grow in the world because meditation is a solution for solving problems in the modern era to calm the mind and soul. Historically meditation originated outside Islam, but in its development it has become the property of all religions. This means that the principles of meditation are still recognized, but its implementation is in accordance with the Shari'a that has been regulated by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. So in Islam there is a sign of harmony between the types of meditation and the worship carried out by Muslims such as prayer, meditation, dhikr, thanksgiving and itikaf. There are findings that meditation in Islam is different from meditation from other beliefs such as Christian, Buddhist and Javanese meditation. Then integrate it with Tafsȋr Ibnu Katsȋr as a classical mufassir and Hamka who is present as a reforming mufassir who contextualizes tafakur in an Indonesian context

Abstract

Escalating discharges from metallurgical, textile, and mining industries have led to elevated concentrations of iron (Fe) in aquatic environments, where its persistence and redox activity pose significant risks to water quality and aquatic ecosystems, thereby necessitating the development of efficient and environmentally benign wastewater treatment strategies specifically targeting Fe removal. This study aims to determine the effect of bed height and flow rate on the adsorption capacity and removal efficiency process of iron (Fe²⁺) ions using activated carbon adsorbent derived from bamboo stems and activated with a 0.5 N NaOH solution. Adsorption was conducted in a continuous column system with variations in bed height (15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm) and flow rate (2 ml/s, 4 ml/s, and 6 ml/s). The activated carbon was characterized based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 06-3730-1995) to maintain product quality, including moisture content, ash content, and iodine number tests. The characterization results indicate that the activated carbon met quality standards, with 7% moisture content, 9% ash content, and an iodine number of 983.475 mg/g. The concentration of iron ions was analyzed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results indicate that the optimal adsorption capacity was obtained at a bed height of 15 cm and a flow rate of 2 mL/s, with a value of 1.114 mg/g, while the highest adsorption efficiency of 93.8% was achieved at a bed height of 25 cm and a flow rate of 2 mL/s.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a model of Islamic value-based crisis communication in an Islamic boarding school through a case study at Pondok Pesantren Attibyan, Deli Serdang. Using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, this research examines how leaders, administrators, teachers, and students manage information and respond to crisis situations. The findings reveal that crisis communication at Attibyan is structured hierarchically while remaining consultative, grounded in Islamic values such as tabayyun (verification) and amanah (accountability). An important contextual finding is that students are not allowed to use personal mobile phones within the pesantren environment. As a result, digital communication is centrally managed by the pesantren authorities, making information control more structured but also creating challenges in external communication speed. The study identifies a five-stage crisis communication model: early detection, internal verification, message formulation, controlled publication through official channels, and evaluation-recovery. Digital media are used selectively by the management for clarification and public education with an ethical and non-defensive tone. Key challenges include limited digital literacy among stakeholders and the absence of formal written procedures. This research contributes to the development of Islamic crisis communication models by integrating religious values with modern communication management practices in the context of pesantren.

Abstract

The lack of an appropriate approach in delivering early sexuality education results in children not fully understanding body boundaries and safe and unsafe forms of touch. This condition increases children's vulnerability to potential sexual violence, requiring developmentally appropriate learning strategies. This study aims to examine the implementation of lift-the-flap books in improving children's understanding of the concepts of good and bad touch, while simultaneously encouraging active engagement in the learning process. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 25 children aged 4–6 years as subjects. Data were collected through participant observation and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that the use of lift-the-flap books can improve children's understanding of body boundaries in a more concrete way and encourage active engagement through interactive and fun exploratory activities. Furthermore, this media also helps children express their understanding more openly. These findings confirm that the integration of interactive media in learning not only strengthens cognitive aspects but also creates meaningful, contextual learning experiences that are responsive to the developmental needs of early childhood.
