Abstract

- this study aims to empirically examine the effect of work environment, leadership and motivation on turn over intention with work spirit as an intervening variable at Alfamart Semarang area. The population of this study is all employees who are in the Alfamart area of  Semarang, including Jatingaleh, Tembalang and Banyumanik, Semarang. With a total of 108 employees. In this study using a non-probability sampling technique, namely by using the Saturated Sampling (Census). Then the method of data collection through questionnaires and data analysis using SPSS 21 which includes validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing using t test and R2 test. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables, namely Work Environment, Leadership and Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Turn Over Intention (Y). This is evidenced by the t-count value of 3.408 > t-table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (.0.05). This shows that the work environment variable has a positive and significant effect on morale among Alfamart employees in Semarang. Motivation obtained t arithmetic value of 2.845 > t table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on morale at Alfamart employees in Semarang. Leadership obtained t arithmetic value of 4.591 > t table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on morale for Alfamart employees in Semarang. Morale (Y1) obtained t value of 15,771 > t table 1,659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the variable of work morale has a positive and significant effect on turnover attention of Alfamart employees in Semarang.

Abstract

Certification is the most important component as proof that employees have expertise in their fields. This study aims to determine the factors that can improve the performance of the logistics function of the Central Java Regional Police. The independent variables in this study are Competence, Employee Commitment, and Promotion, and the dependent variable is work achievement with motivation as a mediating variable. This study uses quantitative methods by using questionnaires to collect the required data. The sample in this study was 82 employees of the Central Java Police logistics function. The analysis used is a structural equation model (SEM) analysis using the SmartPLS analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that competence and motivation have a significant effect on work achievement. The variables of Competence, Employee Commitment, and Promotion have an influence on work motivation. While the variable of Employee Commitment and Promotion has no effect on work achievement. As a mediating variable, motivation succeeded in mediating the effect of employee competence and promotion on employee achievement but not for commitment to employee achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of implementing the pictoword game on students' vocabulary achievement in seventh graders at MTs Negeri 1 Sragen. The author used a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental design. The author took student samples through purposive sampling. The pre-test results showed that the experimental group scored lower than the control group. The average pre-test score in the experimental group was 61.36 and the average pre-test of the control group was 65.60. The two groups were given pre-tests at the same time. The experimental group received four sessions of treatment while learning vocabulary using the Pictoword game. The control group learned vocabulary only through conventional learning. To determine whether the experimental group improved their vocabulary achievement, the authors conducted a post-test. The authors used the IBM SPSS Statistics Base 22.0 program to calculate all data in this study. The results of this study showed that the experimental group's average score increased to 86.33, while the control group's average post-test score was 84.77. Only the experimental group improved their vocabulary achievement because they were treated with four tests using the Pictoword Game. Hypothesis analysis also determined that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, meaning there was a significant effect in implementing the pictoword game on students' vocabulary achievement. This study can be concluded that using the pictoword game can help students learn vocabulary more easily but in a fun way, stimulate students to learn more actively, and also improve students' vocabulary achievement.

Abstract

The marketization of higher education has intensified competition among private universities, particularly in emerging economies such as Indonesia. In this context, higher education institutions must strengthen internal capabilities to improve marketing performance. This study examines the effects of marketing capability and innovation capability on marketing performance in Indonesian private higher education institutions, with brand equity and competitive advantage considered as mediating mechanisms. Drawing on the Resource-Based View, a quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from  marketing-related personnel across private universities in Indonesia. The proposed model was tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that innovation capability significantly enhances brand equity and competitive advantage, while marketing capability positively influences only competitive advantage. Brand equity has a strong positive effect on marketing performance, whereas competitive advantage does not exert a direct effect. Overall, the results suggest that marketing performance in higher education is driven primarily by brand-related assets rather than competitive advantage alone. This study contributes to higher education marketing literature by clarifying how organizational capabilities are translated into market outcomes and offers practical insights for institutional leaders seeking to enhance competitiveness through integrated branding and capability-based strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competence of junior high school science teachers through Lesson Study activities and the development of scientific articles. Participatory Action Research (PAR) was chosen as the research method. The study involved 17 science teachers who were members of the Malang City Science Teacher Working Group (MGMP IPA). The teachers carried out lesson study in groups with three cycles of plan, do, see, and reflect. Each group designed, implemented, observed, and reflected on the learning process during the three cycles. Data was obtained through observation and questionnaires to identify the competencies of science teachers. The results showed that the implementation of Lesson Study was able to improve teachers' understanding of the concepts and objectives of lesson study, observation skills, and the ability to analyze learning outcomes. Teachers also had a good knowledge of formative assessment in learning. The integration of Lesson Study followed by the development of scientific articles proved to be an effective strategy for improving teacher competence. The involvement of teachers in this research also created a professional learning culture oriented towards improving the quality of science learning in schools.

Abstract

The abstract nature of physics concepts and the low level of student interest often present significant challenges in the learning process. The integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with virtual laboratories is believed to offer a promising solution; however, comprehensive and systematic studies on this integration remain scarce. This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the trends, methods, and key findings of studies integrating the Problem-Based Learning model with virtual laboratories in physics education in Indonesia. Using the PRISMA guidelines and a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, we analyzed 28 articles selected from the Scopus, Semantic Scholar, and Google Scholar databases using content analysis methods and visualized the results with VOSviewer software. The results of the review indicate that integrating PBL and virtual laboratories consistently improves student learning outcomes, especially critical thinking, problem-solving, scientific processes, and physics concept understanding. These results confirm that PBL supported by interactive simulations creates a more active, exploratory learning environment. Most studies employed experimental and developmental approaches, indicating a focus on testing effectiveness and developing innovative teaching tools. These findings imply the necessity of further research on other technology-based PBL approaches, such as STEM or web-based PBL, as well as the development of authentic assessment tools that can support adaptive and sustainable physics learning in the digital age.
