Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Celebrity Endorsement, Brand Image, and Online Customer Reviews on purchasing decisions for Erigo products online. The research employs a quantitative method with a causal approach, involving 102 respondents selected through the Incidental Sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results indicate that all three variables—Celebrity Endorsement, Brand Image, and Online Customer Review—have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Collectively, the independent variables explain 47.3% of the variation in purchasing decisions, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings contribute theoretically to the development of digital marketing knowledge and provide practical implications for advancing local product marketing strategies.

Abstract

Rural-based tourism is one of the potential contributors to the development of the rural economy. Therefore, an enhanced tourism value is critical to create visitor satisfaction during the trips. This study aims to empirically investigate tourist satisfaction by the rural tourism services quality and tourism experience, mediated by the offered value. This research analyzes 123 visitor responses, by constructing a Structural-Equation-Modeling with WarpPLS. The results of the research show that rural tourism service quality influences the customers’ value and satisfaction. The tailored experience enhances the offered value. Building a strong value proposal embedded in the tourism brings positive result to tourist’ satisfaction as well as mediate the effects of service quality and experience in it. The management should pursue a specified offered values that can be easily realized and accepted from the perspective of visitors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work-life balance, employee engagement, and organizational commitment on job satisfaction among employees of Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan, Penelitian Dan Pengembangan Daerah Kabupaten Gresik. The sample in this study consists of all 44 employees of Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan, Penelitian Dan Pengembangan Daerah Kabupaten Gresik. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique employed multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that work-life balance, employee engagement, and organizational commitment have both partial and simultaneous effects on job satisfaction among employees of Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan, Penelitian Dan Pengembangan Daerah Kabupaten Gresik. Among these three variables, employee engagement is found to have the dominant influence on job satisfaction among employees of Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan, Penelitian Dan Pengembangan Daerah Kabupaten Gresik.

Abstract

Helplessness is a phenomenon that can impact individuals across all age groups, including both the young and the elderly. Specifically, adolescents and adults often experience feelings of helplessness due to their perceived limitations in accessing education, employment, and economic opportunities. This study employs a quantitative methodology with a cross-sectional design aimed at preventing the onset of psychological disorders among individuals residing in the industrially affected regions. Data collection was executed through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The study's population comprised 1,580 individuals from the industrial area of Driyorejo District in Gresik Regency. A statistically significant p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05) was obtained, demonstrating a correlation between feelings of helplessness and employment status. Furthermore, both internal and external factors contribute to the emergence of helplessness among civil servants. Therefore, governmental authorities must devise and implement strategies to mitigate mental health disorders that may arise among residents adversely affected by industrial operations.

Abstract

Ikan lele merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar yang mengandung sumber protein dan kandungan zat gizi lainnya yang tinggi. Pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal Desa Tenggor Balongpanggang, menciptakan produk pangan lokal yang kaya akan zat gizi. Pembuatan olahan ikan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya terima masyarakat, terutama anak-anak, maka dilaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan sasaran Ibu PKK. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan secara langsung pengolahan nugget ikan lele. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah adanya antusias para peserta dan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kandungan gizi ikan lele, serta peningkatan kreatifitas olahan sumber protein hewani terutama ikan lele di Desa Tenggor Balongpanggang.

Abstract

Background – Production results in the last 3 years at PT Petrokimia Gresik's phonska factory fluctuated and tended to decline. Objective – This study aims to analyze the influence of variables of organizational culture, work rotation, work discipline and work motivation on employee performance in Phonska factory. Design / Methodology / Approach – Researchers used a quantitative approach with a population of 75 production employees. The sampling technique is saturated and uses probability sampling method with the number of samples are 75 respondents. Findings – The results of the study proved that the variables of organizational culture, work discipline and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job rotation variables had no effect on employee performance. Research Implication – Directly the impact on the company if the factors that affect performance are not considered, the employee's performance has decreased, therefore it is necessary to do a diclap, seminar, etc. so that employees understand better and do well and obtain good performance as well. Limitations – The next researcher should be able to expand the research so that more complete information is obtained about the factors that affect employee performance, namely leadership style, work stress, education level, work experience, job satisfaction, and job loyalty. on performance.

Abstract

Background – In an era where it is easier to get access to communicate, exchange information, even to the buying and selling process, many online businesses have been running. Objective – The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of fraudulent online purchases on Instagram and the impact of this fraud. Design / Methodology / Approach – Researchers used a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were 7 informants. Data collection was carried out by interview. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and membercheck. Findings – The results of the research that have been done show that the occurrence of cases of online fraud on Instagram is caused by a lack of caution from some informants and an element of intent from the seller. The impact after the occurrence of the online fraud case differed among several informants. Some informants will still make repeat purchases, but be careful, and do not repurchase on Instagram. Research Implication – It is hoped that it can research online purchase fraud cases more widely, not only researching fraud cases on Instagram but also researching fraud cases in other places such as other social media, and marketplaces. It is hoped that the next research can dig deeper into online fraud and not only from a consumer perspective with a wider scope. Limitations – Unable to conduct direct interviews with several informants due to the timing of the research during the Covid19 pandemic.

Abstract

Background – The phenomenon that exists in PT. Semua Operator have low work discipline in employees, this can be seen from the level of employee tardiness. In addition, employees are also indicated to have problems that arise that arise from less harmonious relationships between employees caused by different work locations, and the existence of a schedule for changing hours for these work locations. Objective – This study aims to determine the influence of discipline and work environment on employee performance at PT Semua Operator. Design / Methodology / Approach – The population in this study is employees of PT All Operators totaling 65 respondents. This study uses a type of quantitative research, sampling techniques using saturated sampling techniques. The sample used was 65 employees of PT Semua Operator. Findings – The results of this study show that discipline has an effect on employee performance and the work environment variable has no effect on employee performance. Research Implication – Relationships between employees that are less harmonious and employee work discipline are still low can cause employee performance to be not optimal and even. Limitations – This research was only conducted on employees of PT. Semua Operators So that the ones who determine the respondents to be used are employees who work at PT. Semua Operators.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of professionalism, work discipline and work environment on employee performance of Balai Pelatihan Vokasi Dan Productivitas Sidoarjo (Vocational and Productivity Training Center in Sidoarjo). The sample in this research was all 38 employees of Vocational and Productivity Training Center in Sidaorjo. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The research results prove that professionalism, work discipline and the work environment have a partial and simultaneous influence on employee performance of Vocational and Productivity Training Center in Sidoarjo. Among these three variables, professionalism is proven to have a dominant influence on employee performance of Vocational and Productivity Training Center in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The low level of financial literacy and inclusion of Indonesian society, especially among parents with lower-middle educational and economic backgrounds, is a challenge in managing family finances. This condition influence parents' ability to meet children's educational needs and build long-term family welfare. This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of family financial management and investment through education and training for parents/guardians of students at AUM Sekolah Majelis Dikdasmen PNF Gresik. The method used is Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) which emphasizes active community participation from the planning, implementation to evaluation stages. The activity was carried out through an interactive seminar discussing three main topics: financial planning, budget management, and family investment. The results of the activity showed that out of 81 targeted participants, 20 parents attended and showed active participation. The training material was considered very relevant and applicable. The participants expressed an increase in understanding and high interest in more systematic family financial management, including the desire to continue advanced training related to investment and the use of digital budgeting tools. This activity shows that community-based educational interventions are able to increase parents' awareness and capacity in managing family finances wisely, so that they are worthy of being replicated in other communities with local adjustments.
