Abstract

Abstrak: Kana Bedai Mantuah Asam: Suntingan Teks, Terjemahan, dan Analisis Struktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendokumentasikan serta menyunting teks kana, menerjemahkan dan memberi catatan agar dapat dipahami oleh kalangan yang lebih luas, dan mendeskripsikan struktur kana. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa struktur bahasa kana terdapat banyak epithet dan paralelisme. Struktur naratif kana, ditemukan lima unsur narasi cerita, yaitu Bedai sebagai divine being, Bedai sebagi suami Kumang, Bedai sebagai pribadi yang berkarakter pemberani, Bedai sebagai pahlawan dan pemimpin, dan Bedai menikahi Kumang Tanan Remayan. Amanat yang disampai dalam kana Bedai Mantuah Asam adalah bersyukurlah atas semua anugerah yang Tuhan Berikan. Dengan bersyukur, hidup manusia menjadi lebih bermakna dan lebih bahagia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMA dengan standar kometensi yaitu mendengarkan. Kompetensi dasar 13. Memahami cerita rakyat yang dituturkan. Kata kunci: kana, suntingan teks, terjemahan, struktur. Abstract: Kana Bedai Mantuah Asam: Text Editing, Translation, and Structure Analysis. This study aims to file the documentation as well as edit kana texts, translate the texts, give notes, and study kana structure in order that it can be understood by a wider scope of audience. The method used in this study was descriptive method with a qualitative research. The research results showed that in kana language structure there is a lot of epithet and parallelism. Based on kanas narrative structure, there are five components in the story narration; Bedai as the divine being; Bedai as the Kumang husband; Bedai as a character with daredevil personality; Bedai as a hero and a leader; and Bedai who married Kumang Tanan Remayan. The message delivered in kana Bedai Mantuah Asam is that people should be grateful for what God has given to us. Being grateful, peoples life would be more meaningful and happier. The result of this research can be implemented in leterature lesson for Lenguage and Indonesian Leterature subject in SMA with the standar competence listening. Basic competensi 13. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam nyangahatn baburukng pada upacara adat perladangan  Dayak  Kanayatn. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian lapangan (field reseach) menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan struktural dan pendekatan hermeneutika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: teknik perekaman, observasi secara langsung dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) struktur Nyangahatn Baburukng adalah unsur-unsur syair yang meliputi rima dan imajinasi. (2) Nilai Budaya yang terdapat dalam Nyangahatn Baburukng adalah: (a) Nilai hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan. (b) Nilai hubungan manusia dengan sesama, (c) Nilai hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri (d) Nilai hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan alam sekitar.   Kata Kunci : Struktur, Nilai Budaya Nyangahatn Baburukng.   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the cultural values contained in the ceremonial baburukng nyangahatn cultivation Dayak Kanayatn This research is a field research using descriptive method with the form of qualitative research and the approach used in this study is the structural approach and hermeneutic approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are: recording techniques, direct observation and in-depth interviews. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded as follows: (1) the structure Nyangahatn Baburukng are elements that include rhyme poetry and imagination. (2) Cultural Values contained in Nyangahatn Baburukng are: (a) the value of the human relationship with God. (b) The value of human relationships with others, (c) the value of man's relationship with himself  (d) The value of the human relationship with the natural environment. Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the low ability of students in writing. This can be evidenced from the value of students on average below 80, namely the minimum completeness criteria, students are less skilled in putting ideas or ideas into written form. The method used is descriptive method. The design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The technique used is indirect technique in the form of observation and documentary study. The tools used for data collectors are IPKG 1 and IPKG 2. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the average score obtained by students in the first cycle was 52.47 or 39%, the total number of students completed was 12 people.  Learning in the second cycle the average value of students is 77.59 or 55%, the number of students who complete as many as 17 people. The average value of the first cycle also increased, namely 88.35 or 87%, the number of students who completed as many as 27 people. So, learning to write rhymes using the make a match model of cycles I, II, and Il has increased. Keywords: Make A Match, Poem, Writing

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyebab frustasi, wujud frustasi, dan bentuk penyesuaian diri tokoh utama dalam novel Burung-burung Manyar karya Yusuf Bilyarta Mangunwijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penyebab frustasi tokoh utama dalam yaitu: (1) rintangan yang bukan berasal dari orang (meliputi status keluarga, lingkungan sosial, dan sistem birokrasi), rintangan yang berasal dari orang (meliputi rintangan yang berasal dari keluarga, teman atau kekasih, dan musuh), pertentangan motif positif dalam diri tokoh utama, yakni pertentangan motif antara menerima kekalahan atau memperjuangkan harga diri, pertentangan motif positif-negatif dalam diri tokoh utama, yakni pertentangan motif antara mencintai atau membenci ibunya;  (2) wujud frustasi tokoh utama yaitu agresi (meliputi scape goating, free floating anger, dan suicide), mengundurkan diri atau menghindar (terdiri atas represi dan regresi), reaksi melakukan kompromi (meliputi sublimasi, reaksi formasi, proyeksi, dan rasionalisasi tipe anggur masam); (3) wujud frustasi tokoh utama, meliputi fantasi, kompensasi, dan pemindahan obyek. Kata Kunci : Novel, Frustasi, Psikologi Behavioristik   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the causes of the frustration, kind of frustration, and adaptation from the main character in the novel of Burung- Burung Manyar created by Yusuf Bilyarta Mangunwijaya. The method used in this research is descriptive method in form of qualitative. Based on the result of data analysis, the cause of frustration of the main character is that (1) the obstacle faced is not from others (included family condition, social environment, and bureaucracy system), people (included family, friend or lover, and enemy) but from the positive motive of him (the main character) namely a motive to accept the loss or struggle himself, the contradictory between positive and negative motives; loving or hating his mother; (2) The frustration of the main character is kind of aggresse (included scapegoating, free floating anger, and suicide or blaming himself), reaction of declining (included repression and regression) and reaction of compromising (included sublimation, formation, and rationalization type of sour grapes); (3) The adaptation of the main character is implemented in fantasy, compensatory (hiding the weaknesses) and object changing. Abstract

AbstractThe main objective of this study: 1) To know the difference between learning model models Concept sentence (CS) and the conventional model of the skill of writing free verse 2) To determine differences in learning outcomes of higher student learning outcomes poor students in menelis free verse 3) to determine the effect of the interaction between the learning model dann learning outcomes of the skill of writing free verse 4) to megetahui differences in learning outcomes high students Yag taught using models Concept sentence (CS) with the conventional model, 5) for megetahui differences in learning outcomes of low student dijar with Concept model of sentence (CS) and the conventional model.  The method used in quantitative research is experimental method uses a form of factorial ANOVA two-lane design 2 x 2. The data collection technique is a measurement technique, unstructured interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Test research hypotheses using ANOVA two lanes and a further test Tukey posthoc type to see the difference in average group. from the results of the hypothesis test taken five conclusions for this study: 1) the learning outcomes Concept sentence (CS) is better than conventional models, 2) the result of high learning students is greater than the result of a low learning students from the second grade, 3) there is an interaction effect between teaching methods and learning outcomes of students' writing skills free verse 4) group learning outcomes high students with models of Concept sentence (CS) is better than group learning outcomes of high student with the conventional model, 5) those learning outcomes of low student with models Concept sentence ( CS) is higher than the low group students' learning outcomes with conventional models. Keywords: Concept Sentence (CS), Learning, Conventional, Skills, Poetry  Free

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti untuk mengetahui gaya bercerita Dewi Lestari dalam tetralogi Supernova terutama menyangkut tokoh dan latar. Alasan pemilihan judul karena Dee seorang selebriti yang mampu menyatukan penyuka novel popular dan sastra. Masalah penelitian ini adalah gaya bercerita Dewi Lestari dalam tetralogi Supernova menyangkut tokoh dan latar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan berbentuk kualitatif.  Sumber data yaitu tetralogi Supernova. Berdasarkan analisis, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Teknik ekspositori, cakapan, tingkah laku, pikiran dan perasaan, serta teknik reaksi tokoh lain dgunakan Dee secara lengkap dalam tetralogi Supernova.  Teknik Arus kesadaran digunakan Dee hanya dalam novel KPBJ dan Petir.. Teknik reaksi tokoh hanya digunakan dalam novel Akar dan Petir. Teknik pelukisan latar dan fisik juga digunakan Dee untuk menunjukan kedirian tokoh-tokohnya dalam novel Akar, Petir, dan Partikel. Dee menggunakan beberapa latar yang sangat menonjol dalam tetralogi Supernova. Latar-latar tersebut adalah latar luar negeri, kota besar, abad ke-20, abad ke-21, spiritual atau keagamaan, surat supernova, internet, pergaulan bebas, dan persahabatan. Kata Kunci: Supernova, Tokoh, Latar Abstract: This research is based on the researcher’s interest in order to know the story telling style of Dewi Lestari in Supernova tetralogy especially about the character and setting. The reason for choosing the title is Dee is a celebrity who can gather popular novel lovers and literature. The problem of this research is the style of Dewi Lestari storytelling in Supernova tetralogy relate to character and background. The aim of the research is to describe that problem. The research is using descriptive method and qualitative form. The source of data is Supernova tetralogy. Based on the analysis, the results are expository technique, dialoque, behaviour, thingking and feeling and reaction of other characters is used by Dee in Supernova tetralogy completely. Consciousness flow technique is used by Dee only in KPBJ and Petir novels. Character reaction technique is only used in Akar and Petir novels. Physic and setting desription technique is also used by Dee to show the characters’ personality in Akar, Petir, and Partikel. Based on the analysis of the setting, Dee uses some prominent setting in Supernova tetralogy. The setting are foreign countries, big cities, 20 century, 21 st century, spiritual or religion, supernova letters, internet, free life, and friendship. Keywords: Supernova, Character, Setting

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe and analyze the intrinsic elements found in the novel, Ibu, Doa yang Hilang by Bagas D. Bawono. The method in this study is descriptive, qualitative forms and structural approaches. Data in the form of sentences relating to the problem under study, namely intrinsic elements include the stages of flow, the types of settings, the function of the appearance of characters and characterizations, and the message contained in the novel. The data source in this research is the novel, Ibu, Doa yang Hilang by  Bagas D. Bawono. The technique used is documentary study technique. The data collection tool is the researcher herself as the main instrument.The results of this study are: 1) the stages of the flow include the stages of introduction or the stage of introduction, the stage of occurrence of conflict or conflict, the stage of increasing conflict, the climax stage, and the stage of completion. 2) the types of backgrounds include the setting of the place, time, and social setting. 3) the function of character appearance and characterization to explain the role of protagonist and antagonist       4) the message contained in the novel, education is important for the future of children. This research can be applied by Indonesian language teachers in providing teaching material about the analysis of intrinsic elements in novels in class XII of even semester. Keywords: Analysis, Intrinsic Elements, Novel

Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya hal yang menarik dari novel Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin (DYJTPMA) yang memiliki alur cerita, tokoh, dan makna yang menarik serta memotivasi. Fokus penelitian ini adalah struktur formal, struktur naratif, dan makna teks sehingga teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktur formal (judul, volume, dan bahasa teks), struktur naratif (bagian awal, tengah dan akhir serta kedudukan tokoh utama),  dan makna teks . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, berbentuk kualitatif, dengan pendekatan struktural dan hermeneutik . Hasil penelitian yaitu struktur formal pada judul memiliki bahasa kiasan, volume teks memiliki 256 halaman serta bahasa teks meliputi bahasa inggris, bahasa daerah, dan bahasa gaul). Struktur naratif memiliki 15 urutan cerita dan kedudukan tokoh Tania yaitu sebagai anak, kakak, adik, dan sahabat. Makna dominan dalam novel DYJTPMA memiliki makna ikhlas.   Kata Kunci : Struktur Naratif, Formal, Makna Abstract : This research is motivated cause have a something special in the novel DYJTPMA which has a plot, characters, and the meaning of an interesting and motivating. The focus of this research is a formal structure, narrative structure, and meaning of the text so that the theory used is the theory of formal structure (title, volume, and text language), narrative structure (begin part, middle part and finish part), and meaning. This study used a descriptive, qualitative shape, with structural approach. Based on the results of data analysis, the formal structure in this novel has a metaphor, the volume of text on this formal structure has as many as 256 pages this book, and using language is english language, region language, and teenager laugange). Narrative structure analyzed on 15 sequences and position Tania figures are Tania as a kids, as sisters, as Friendship. Meaning in the novel has sincere meaning.   Keyword: Structure Narrative, Formal, Meaning.

Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan relasi semantik kata yaitu: sinonim, antonim, homonim, hiponim, dan polisemi dalam BMDS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata yang mengandung relasi semantik kata dalam BMDS. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah BMDS yang dituturkan oleh masyarakat di Desa Tanjung Raya Kecamatan Serawai. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara, teknik pancing. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu daftar pertanyaan, gambar, dan cerita dalam BMDS. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tahap transkripsi, penerjemahan, klasifikasi data, dan menganalisis data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang ada, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dalam BMDS terdapat sinonim, antonim, homonim, hiponim, dan polisemi. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar pada jenjang Perguruan Tinggi pada mata kuliah Semantik. . Kata Kunci: Relasi, Semantik Kata, Dialek. Abstract: The research was aiming at describing semantic relationships for synonym, antonyms, homonym, hyponym, and polysemy in Serawai Dialect of Malay Language. The research employed qualitative descriptive. The data analysed was from words which have semantic relationships in Serawai Dialect of Malay Language. The data was taken from local interlocutors in Tanjung Raya village, Serawai district. The research techniques were interview and prompt questions. Data was collected from list of questions, pictures, and stories in Serawai Dialect of Malay Language. The data then was analysed in several steps; transcribing, interpreting, data clarification, and data analysis. The research findings showed that Serawai Dialect of Malay Language has for synonym, antonyms, homonym, hyponym, and polysemy. Abstract

Abstract This thesis is entitled "The Relationship between Application of Scientific Approach, Writing Interests, and Writing Ability of High School Christian Immanuel Pontianak Student Report". This study aims to determine the relationship between the application of scientific approach, interest in writing, and writing skills of Christian Immanuel Pontianak High School students. The research method used is descriptive method with correlation research form. The data source of this research is the students of SMA Kristen Immanuel Pontianak class X. Technique of collecting data using written test and indirect communication that is written test conducted by executing report writing activity, whereas communication is not done directly by using questionnaire or questionnaire. The data were analyzed using product moment statistic calculation, with the result of research relation of the application of scientific approach with writing ability of report 0,226 hence there is positive relation, the correlation between interest of writing with writing ability report 0,148 hence there is positive relation, relation between applying of scientific approach, and writing ability has a significant relationship that is equal to 3,49> 3,26.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Interests, Writing Ability
