Abstract

This research aims to find out how classroom management improves student learning at Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS, Medan Tembung. Field research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach, combining observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The research results show that effective classroom management in Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS is crucial for creating a conducive and productive learning environment. Teachers play a central role in managing the physical setting of the classroom, student behavior, and the application of innovative learning methods. Close collaboration between teachers, students and parents, supported by the integration of technology and diversification of learning approaches, plays an important role in achieving this goal. This research also identified that active support from school management is key in facilitating an inspiring learning environment and supporting the holistic development of students at Muhammad Fahri Integrated MIS.

Abstract

Literacy is an individual's ability to manage and understand information through reading and writing activities. This skill is closely related to language skills because it includes aspects of speaking, reading, writing, counting and problem-solving skills. In other words, literacy includes language abilities and skills, including reading, writing, speaking, counting, and problem solving at a certain level needed in everyday life. This research uses a literature study approach as the main method of data collection. In the process, the researcher conducted an in-depth study and understanding of various relevant theories from literature sources.Today, in the digital era, digital literacy is a very important ability for elementary school students to have. The development of information and communication technology has changed learning methods, so it is important that students have sufficient ability to access, evaluate and use digital information effectively. Digital literacy of primary school students includes various important elements. First, digital literacy enables students to develop skills in utilizing digital technology, including surfing the internet, understanding hardware and software, and using productivity applications. Second, digital literacy teaches students about the safety and ethical aspects of using technology, such as maintaining online privacy, protecting personal data and avoiding cyberbullying.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Muhammadiyah Sijabut are due to the lack of direct student involvement in the learning process. To overcome this problem, classroom action research (PTK) was carried out using science teaching aids. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using class IV science teaching aids at SD Muhammadiyah Sijabut. The research subjects were 22 students, the research data sources were obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities as well as quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of research showed that 8 students out of 22 students completed individually with classical completeness of 36% and classical absorption of 63%. Meanwhile, the results of the second cycle of research experienced an increase with the number of students completing individually as many as 18 students out of 22 students who took part in learning with a classical completion percentage of 82% with a classical absorption capacity of 85%. Based on the results of this research, learning using science teaching aids can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Muhammadiyah Sijabut.

Abstract

Science learning at school places greater emphasis on mastering basic scientific work abilities or science process skills, so that learning is more meaningful. However, based on observations made by researchers through field observations of the reality of science learning that takes place in class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA, it shows that there are still weaknesses in the science learning process which results in a decline in student learning outcomes. The weakness of science learning found in class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA is that this learning places more emphasis on mastering a number of facts and concepts, but does not facilitate students to obtain comprehensive and meaningful learning outcomes. The high percentage of students who have not been able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria, namely 36% indicated that the completeness of students' classical learning outcomes in this class was still not optimal so it needed to be improved. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IV UPTD SD NEGERI 017973 KISARAN KOTA students by using the demonstration method in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of natural science which is carried out in a differentiated manner. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, and data analysis techniques using triangulation techniques that confirm data based on observations, interviews, and documentation. Researchers produced findings including the implementation of differentiated learning that had been successfully implemented by natural science teachers. Teachers use content differentiation, process differentiation, and product differentiation. Differentiated learning outcomes have a positive impact both in terms of teachers and students. Through differentiated learning the teacher feels happy because the students are more enthusiastic and involved, this is manifested in the form of products produced by students in very creative learning. However, the challenges received by the teacher at the process differentiation stage, the teacher still finds confusion when differentiating teaching materials that must be given to various students. Differentiated learning in the independent curriculum gives students autonomy to be able to express their learning abilities based on their potential and interests.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of using time board media in increasing students' conceptual understanding of time material in class 1 of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia. The background to this research stems from students' low understanding of the concept of time due to learning methods that are still abstract. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results show that the use of time board media can significantly increase students' understanding of the concept of time. In pre-action, only 24.1% of students achieved good understanding, whereas after implementing time board media in the second cycle, this percentage increased to 72.4%. This increase shows that the time board media is effective in helping students understand the concept of time concretely. Thus, the use of time board media is recommended as an innovative learning strategy in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts in early grade students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematical subtraction calculation ability of class I-A students of SDN 104202 Bandar Setia through the puzzle playing method. The problem in this study is low mathematics learning outcomes. The method used in the study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) as many as 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were class 1-A students at elementary school SDN 104202 Bandar Setia Jl. Terusan Dusun V Bandar Khalipah, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, 2024/2025 Academic Year, totaling 27 students consisting of 10 female students and 17 male students. Classroom Action Research (CAR) improves students' subtraction calculation ability by using the mathematical puzzle playing method of class 1 SDN 104202 Bandar Setia, it can be concluded as follows: "The application of the mathematical puzzle playing method in class 1-A SDN 104202 Bandar Setia which is proven by an increase in research results in each cycle. Assessment of achievement in mathematics learning subtraction in cycle I with an average of 69.25, percentage of completion 69%, and in cycle II began to show an increase with an average value of 90.74 percentage of completion 90%. The results also show that this classroom action research achieved the specified completion indicator, namely completion above 90% .

Abstract

Early reading ability is a basic skill that is important to be mastered by early grade students as a foundation for learning at a higher level. However, based on observations in class 1B of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village, it was found that many students had difficulty in early reading, such as recognizing letters, combining letters into words, and understanding the meaning of simple words. This study aims to improve students' early reading ability through the use of picture media. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 29 students of class 1B of SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village. This study was conducted at SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village on Jl. Terusan Dusun V, Bandar Khalifah, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency. Data were collected through observation, reading ability test results, and documentation. The results showed that the use of picture media significantly improved students' early reading ability. The improvement is seen from the results of the reading ability test, active student participation during learning, and increased student interest in learning. This can be seen from the results of the assessment carried out starting from the pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The use of visual media to improve Indonesian literacy in elementary schools can improve achievement, ability, and improve student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 104202 Bandar Setia Village. In addition, image media helps students understand the material more easily in a fun and interesting way. The conclusion of this study is that image media is effective as a learning aid to improve early reading skills in early grades. It is hoped that teachers can continue to develop visual-based learning media to create a more interesting and interactive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan STEAM dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif bagi siswa untuk aktif mengkonstruksikan pengetahuan meraka melalui kegiatan nyata siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101877 Tanjung Morawa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dengan desain Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design. Populasi penelitiannya adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101877 Tanjung Morawa yang berjumlah 57 siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 5 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEAM efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan diperolehnya hasil hipotesis Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,962 < 0,05 maka H1 diterima, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEAM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 101877 Tanjung Morawa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan STEAM dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan literasi sains siswa, sekaligus memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran IPA yang lebih inovatif di masa depan.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki keberagaman hayati laut Dunia, diantaranya ialah Rumput Laut (Nori) atau alga. Diantara Rumput Laut (Nori) yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia adalah Gracilla sp & Kappaphycus cottonii (eucheuma cottonii). Aspek ekonomis, Rumput Laut (Nori) merupakan komoditas yang potensial untuk dikembangkan karena nilai gizi yang dikandungnya. Rumput Laut (Nori) dapat diolah menjadi olahan makanan ataupun cemilan seperti agar-agar, ada juga yang mengolah Rumput Laut (Nori) sebagai produk obat-obatan maupun kosmetik. Rumput Laut (Nori) juga digunakan dalam industri farmasi, tekstil dan lain sebagainya. Keuntungan yang bisa didapatkan dalam membudidayakan Rumput Laut (Nori) diantaranya berkurangnya jumlah pengangguran, meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat, dan bertambahnya Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Aspek sosial, perkembangan usaha budidaya Rumput Laut (Nori) memberikan keuntungan bagi masyarakat disekitar lokasi budidaya. Dengan adanya usaha budidaya ini diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pasar yang luas dan mampu menumbuhkan semangat kerja serta semangat berwirausaha masyarakat setempat. Ditinjau dari aspek kesehatan, mengkonsumsi Rumput Laut (Nori) dapat membantu mempertahankan atau menurunkan berat badan, membantu mempercepat penyembuhan luka, menguatkan tulang dan gigi, memperlancar sistem pencernaan, meningkatkan enegi, baik untuk penderita diabetes dan kolesterol, terhindar dari pembengkakan kelenjar tiroid, melawan penyakit, serta dapat memperlambat penyebaran sel kanker.
