Abstract

This research is motivated by the persistence of the patriarchal system that shapes gender inequality, particularly within the Papuan cultural context represented in the novel Isinga. The objective of this study is to analyze the process of gender reconstruction and the manifestation of cultural radical feminism in overcoming gender injustice through the character Irewa. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive with a feminist literary approach. Data were collected through documentation with interpretive reading and note-taking techniques, and analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that gender reconstruction occurs through three systematic transformation stages: the construction stage (oppression), the transition stage (turning point involving the emergence of critical awareness in the character Irewa), and the realization stage (economic independence and courage in public speaking). Cultural radical feminism is manifested through reclaiming control over the body, rejecting violence, and transforming cultural narratives via the "Ruang Marya" symbol. The study concludes that the novel Isinga serves as an instrument for creating gender justice through profound cultural transformation.

Abstract

Contextual learning is an important aspect of Social Studies (IPS) education. One important element of contextual Social Studies learning is family economic empowerment. This study aims to analyze the integration of family economic empowerment into Social Studies learning in an elementary school in Pacitan Regency, Indonesia. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with a Social Studies teacher, classroom observations, and analysis of relevant documents and learning materials. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed through triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that family economic empowerment has not yet been integrated into Social Studies learning at the elementary school level in Pacitan. Family economic empowerment should be integrated into Social Studies learning through contextual learning, project-based learning, and the utilization of family economic potential as a learning resource. The main challenge to integrating family economic empowerment into Social Studies learning is teachers' limited competence in developing learning materials and curriculum.

Abstract

Perencanaan pendidikan dasar merupakan komponen penting dalam mendukung efektivitas implementasi kebijakan pendidikan di sekolah. Perubahan kebijakan pendidikan kontemporer, seperti implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, digitalisasi pembelajaran, dan penguatan kualitas pendidikan, menuntut sekolah untuk melakukan rekonstruksi perencanaan pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan inovatif. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai kendala dalam implementasi perencanaan pendidikan di sekolah dasar, baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia, kesiapan sekolah, maupun pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis rekonstruksi perencanaan pendidikan dasar dalam perspektif kebijakan pendidikan kontemporer di SDN Jembulwunut serta mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah dan guru di SDN Jembulwunut. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara mendalam mengenai implementasi perencanaan pendidikan di sekolah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rekonstruksi perencanaan pendidikan dilakukan melalui penyesuaian program sekolah terhadap kebijakan pendidikan kontemporer, pengembangan perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan peserta didik, serta peningkatan kolaborasi antar tenaga pendidik. Selain itu, sekolah mulai memanfaatkan teknologi dalam mendukung administrasi dan proses pembelajaran. Namun demikian, implementasi perencanaan pendidikan masih menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap kebijakan baru, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta belum optimalnya sinkronisasi antara perencanaan program sekolah dan kebutuhan riil peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan kompetensi pendidik, evaluasi program secara berkelanjutan, serta peningkatan dukungan kelembagaan guna mewujudkan perencanaan pendidikan dasar yang efektif dan relevan dengan perkembangan pendidikan kontemporer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the principal's leadership style, describe the principal's leadership style in managing schools, describe the principal's role in implementing a positive school culture at Gedangan Elementary School, and analyze the relationship between the principal's leadership style and the level of positive culture implementation perceived by teachers at Gedangan Elementary School. This study uses a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. The initial phase involved collecting quantitative data through open-ended questionnaires, which were analyzed descriptively using thematic coding. The next phase involved collecting qualitative data through interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as school documentation, which was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that 1) teachers perceive the principal as a sincere, honest, communicative, and motivating person, contributing to a safe and comfortable work environment; 2) the principal's leadership style at Gedangan Elementary School is democratic and participatory, involving teachers in planning, decision-making, and implementing school programs, thus creating a harmonious and collaborative work climate; 3) the principal's role in implementing a positive culture is realized through role modeling, participatory decision-making, and a sustainable school culture program that aims to instill the values ​​of discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect; and 4) a participatory and communicative leadership style is closely related to the implementation of a strong positive school culture, which is demonstrated by harmonious collaboration, a culture of appreciation, and a conducive school atmosphere.This study aims to determine teachers' perceptions of the principal's leadership style, describe the principal's leadership style in managing schools, describe the principal's role in implementing a positive school culture at Gedangan Elementary School, and analyze the relationship between the principal's leadership style and the level of positive culture implementation perceived by teachers at Gedangan Elementary School. Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to examine the feasibility of the FARSIA learning media for fifth-grade elementary school students, (2) to examine the practicality of the FARSIA learning media for fifth-grade elementary school students, and (3) to examine the effectiveness of the FARSIA learning media for fifth-grade elementary school students. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adopting the ten-step Borg and Gall development model, namely: (1) research and data collection, (2) planning, (3) development of the initial product draft, (4) limited testing, (5) product revision based on limited testing, (6) main field testing, (7) final product revision, (8) operational testing, (9) final product revision, and (10) dissemination and implementation. The research subjects included school principals, teachers, and supervisors at several elementary schools in the study area. The data in this study consist of qualitative data obtained through expert reviews and interviews, as well as quantitative data obtained through questionnaires. The research instruments used in this study were a validation questionnaire, an interview guide, and a response questionnaire. The triangulation method used in this study was source triangulation. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The feasibility analysis of the Google Site-based academic supervision model utilized data processing from the questionnaires administered to validators. The practicality analysis of the Google Site-based academic supervision model was derived from the teacher response questionnaires.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of principal's transformational leadership in strengthening character education through Scout extracurricular activities at ten public elementary schools in Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency. A mixed methods approach with sequential exploratory design was employed, combining qualitative methods (in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation) with quantitative methods (questionnaires to 200 students). Results show principals implemented transformational leadership through four dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration, with a mean score of 3.69 (high category). Hypothesis testing confirmed a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership on the effectiveness of Scout activities (t = 4.251 > t-table = 1.972; sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with the regression equation Y = 79.010 + 0.257X and R² = 8.4%. Scout activities proved effective in building students' character, particularly discipline, responsibility, leadership, cooperation, and social awareness, with a mean score of 3.92 (high category). These findings imply that principal's transformational leadership plays a strategic role in optimizing Scout extracurricular activities as a medium for sustainable character education.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of principal leadership, work motivation, and workload on teacher performance in public junior high schools in Pati Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The population consisted of teachers of public junior high schools in Pati Regency, while the sample was determined using proportional random sampling techniques. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires that had passed validity and reliability testing. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS. The results revealed that principal leadership, work motivation, and workload simultaneously had a significant effect on teacher performance. Principal leadership and work motivation showed positive and significant effects on teacher performance, whereas workload had a negative and significant effect. The coefficient of determination indicated that 65.8% of teacher performance variance was explained by the three independent variables. Principal leadership was identified as the most dominant variable affecting teacher performance. These findings confirm that strengthening instructional leadership and improving teacher motivation are essential strategies to enhance teacher professionalism and educational quality. The study contributes theoretically to organizational behavior theory and transformational leadership theory in educational management contexts.
