Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usaha petani kakao dalam meningkatkan pendapatan di Kenagarian Padang Gelugur, Kabupaten Pasaman. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kondisi pendapatan petani kakao yang berfluktuasi akibat perubahan harga, penurunan produksi, serta keterbatasan modal dan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat diperoleh gambaran strategi pengembangan yang tepat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan kesejahteraan petani kakao.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan tujuan menggambarkan fenomena secara mendalam berdasarkan pengalaman, pandangan, dan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Informan penelitian berjumlah sepuluh orang petani kakao yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, yakni petani yang dinilai memiliki pengalaman dan keterlibatan langsung dalam usaha kakao. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan usaha petani kakao meliputi lima aspek utama: pengembangan produk melalui peningkatan mutu biji kakao; pengembangan pasar dengan memperluas jaringan distribusi; penguatan modal usaha melalui dukungan pemerintah dan kelompok tani; peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan dan penyuluhan; serta peningkatan pendapatan melalui efisiensi produksi dan pengolahan hasil pascapanen. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya kolaborasi antara petani, pemerintah, dan lembaga pendukung agar usaha kakao dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Microcontrollers are capable of digitizing conventional equipment so that it will make it easier for practitioners to carry out experiments. The aim of this research is to determine the use of microcontrollers in physical mechanics experiments using the Systematic Literature Review method. The data collected was in the form of national and international journal articles from accredited and indexed electronic databases and then extracted. The research results show mechanical experiments using microcontroller-based experimental tools, supporting sensors used in these tools, the learning models applied, learning achievements that can result from activities and the types of research used to discuss these experimental tools

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model in improving students’ learning outcomes and to determine the differences in achievement between a class implementing the Discovery Learning model and a class using conventional instruction on the topic of Global Warming in Grade X at SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent posttest only control group design. The sample consisted of 64 students divided into two classes, with 32 students in class X.7 as the experimental group and 32 students in class X.6 as the control group. The research instrument was a learning outcomes test comprising 20 multiple-choice questions developed based on Bloom’s Taxonomy cognitive levels (C1–C5). The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that the experimental class achieved an average score of 82.03, categorized as good, while the control class obtained an average score of 75.78, also categorized as good. These findings indicate a significant difference in students’ learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups, demonstrating that the application of the Discovery Learning model effectively improves students’ learning outcomes on Global Warming material compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the moral values ​​contained in the film "The Dreamer" by using semiotic analysis. Semiotic analysis was chosen because it is a field of study that is very relevant to analyzing the structure of a film. This research is library research with a qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from film footage and dialogues containing elements of moral values ​​in the film "The Dreamer". While secondary data was obtained from books, journals, and articles that support the research material. Data collection uses observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis used the semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes. The results showed that in the film "The Dreamer" there are moral values ​​that can be known, including the relationship between humans and God (be kind to God), the relationship between humans and oneself which includes studying, working hard, and being responsible and human relationships with others. other human beings, namely the value of tolerance, helping others, and caring.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Teluk Sungka Village, Gaung Anak Serka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, with the aim of empowering the community through the utilization of coconut coir waste into innovative handicraft products with market value. Until now, coconut coir has only been regarded as waste and has not been optimally utilized, even though it has considerable economic potential. The method used in this activity was a participatory approach, actively involving the community through several stages, namely identifying potential, collecting materials, conducting training, practicing handicraft production, and providing assistance during the production process. The coconut coir was processed into handicrafts with the help of latex as an adhesive to produce products such as flower pots and various other decorative items. The results of the activity showed that the community was able to process coconut coir into more useful products that have economic value and the potential to become an additional source of income. Through this program, the community gained new skills while also opening opportunities for the development of creative economies based on local potential.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to introduce deep learning to elementary school teachers of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) across Bengkalis Regency through an experience-based workshop. The activity involved 26 IPAS teachers as participants. A participatory, experience-based training method was chosen because it allows teachers to experience for themselves the deep learning process they are expected to apply, making it more effective for building pedagogical understanding than one-way lecturing. This activity represents an effort to increase community capacity, particularly among teachers, by applying educational research results to classroom practice. The results showed that all indicators reached 100% and were categorized as very good. Qualitatively, participants stated that the workshop encouraged active involvement, exploration, discovery, and enjoyable learning, while also strengthening teachers’ readiness to develop simple experiment-based LKPDs. However, limitations in time, infrastructure, and school facilities remained important obstacles to implementation in practice. Therefore, an experience-based workshop can serve as a relevant initial strategy for introducing deep learning to teachers, although its sustained implementation still requires follow-up mentoring and institutional support.
