Latar belakang. Obesitas telah berkembang menjadi epidemi baik di negara maju maupun negaraberkembang. Diduga bahwa intervensi diet dan olah raga dapat menurunkan risiko obesitas.Tujuan. Mengetahui pengaruh intervensi diet dan olah raga terhadap indeks massa tubuh, lemak tubuhdan kesegaran jasmani pada anak obesMetode. Uji intervensi one group pre and post test design pada anak SD usia 9â€“10 tahun di SD BernardusSemarang pada bulan Juni-September 2009. Intervensi diet berupa konseling pada anak dan orangtua.Intervensi olahraga tiga kali 45 menit per minggu selama 8 minggu. Pengambilan data pada awal danakhir penelitian berupa data antropometri dengan menggunakan timbangan Tanita BC 545 Inner ScanBody Composition dan tingkat kesegaran jasmani diukur menggunakan 20 meter shuttle run test, kemudiandilakukan analisis data dengan t-test berpasangan dan analisis multivariat.Hasil. Dua puluh subjek (17 laki-laki dan 3 perempuan) menyelesaikan penelitian. Didapatkan penurunanrerata indeks massa tubuh 0,6 kg/m2 (p=0,006) dan peningkatan rerata tingkat kesegaran jasmani sebesar1,66 ml/kg/menit (p=0,000), tetapi tidak didapatkan perbedaan secara bermakna terhadap lemak tubuh.Asupan diet harian berkurang 421,3 kkal/hari. Berdasarkan analisis multivariat, asupan makanan merupakanvariabel yang lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan dengan olahraga (rsquare=0,33, p=0,018).Kesimpulan. Intervensi diet dan olahraga selama 8 minggu menurunkan indeks massa tubuh, meningkatkantingkat kesegaran jasmani, tetapi tidak didapatkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap lemak tubuh. Asupandiet merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh.

Background: Rabies is a zoonotic disease that can cause death. Ambon City is a city in Indonesia with a fairly high dog population of 62,613; we found 3,444 bite cases and 747 positive results from dog brain specimens between 2014 and 2018. Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the correlation between the knowledge of dog owners and the role of health workers in preventing rabies in Ambon City. Method: This research used a quantitative design within a cross-sectional study. There were two groups of respondents: the dog owner population and the health worker population. The population of dog owners was 4,509 and the sample was 113. The health worker population and sample size was 22. The research began with the preparation, implementation, and writing stages. The data sources were both primary and secondary. Primary data were obtained at the time of the study and secondary data were obtained from the Ambon City Health Office, Ambon City Agriculture and Food Security Service, and Ambon City Health Centers. Results: There was a relationship of statistical significance between dog owner knowledge and rabies prevention (p = 0.01) and a significant relationship between the role of health workers and rabies prevention (p = 0.03). Conclusion: Dog owner knowledge and the role of health workers have a relationship with efforts to prevent rabies.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that is still a global health problem. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (DM) can result in poor glycemic status, with factors that affect patients including long-term DM and medication compliance. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the risk factors of long-term DM and non-compliance with medication on the poor glycemic control status of patients with type 2 DM. Methods: This type of research used observational analysis with a case–control design. Samples were taken from patients with type 2 DM, with 40 cases and 40 controls. The criteria for sample inclusion were that the patients had a glycosylated hemoglobin level check, were willing to be research respondents, and could communicate well. The exclusion criterion was patients experiencing a drastic decline in health status during the study. The sampling technique used was consecutive sampling. This research was conducted at the Panti Wilasa Citarum Hospital in Semarang City from July to September 2019. The relationship and the risk of long-term DM and adherence to taking medication with glycemic status were tested using the chi-square test. Results: This study showed that a duration of DM >5 years (p = 0.01; Odss Ratio (OR) = 3.46; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.37 < OR < 8.69) and non-compliance with taking medication (p = 0.02; OR = 3.15; 95% CI = 1.25 < OR < 7.93) are risk factors for poor glycemic status. Conclusion: Duration of DM >5 years and non-compliance with taking medication are risk factors for poor glycemic status in patients with type 2 DM.

Latar Belakang: Upaya meningkatkan cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif sudah lama dilakukan namun keber-hasilan cakupan program masih rendah. Cakupan ASI eksklusif wilayah DKK Kabupaten Semarang tahun 2011 sebesar 20% masih dibawah target sebesar 80%. Pada tahun 2012 telah terbit Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) nomor 33 tentang Pemberian ASI Eksklusif yang diikuti dengan terbitnya Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan yang mengatur tentang donor ASI, penyediaan Ruang Laktasi di tempat kerja, sarana umum, tata cara penggunaan susu formula, dan tatacara pengenaan sanksi administratif bagi tenaga kesehatan dan penyelenggara fasilitas pelayanan kes-ehatan. Sanksi itu diberikan bertahap dari teguran lisan, tertulis, hingga pencabutan ijin.4 Tujuan: penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis system pengelolaan ruang laktasi di perusahaan swasta ditinjau dari aspek input, process dan output diwilayah kerja Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Semarang. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif yang disajikan secara deskriptif eksploratif melalui wawancara menda-lam. Pemilihan informan dengan cara purposive, pengambilan data melalui wawancara (indepth interview) pada in-forman utama adalah 5 penanggung jawab ruang laktasi di perusahaan swasta, dan informan triangulasinya yaitu 5 orang HRD perusahaan swasta, 5 orang karyawan bekerja yang menyusui, 1orang dari Ukesja Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Semarang. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan me-tode analisis isi (content analysis) Hasil: Hasil penelitian dari variabel input yaitu mengenai SDM, sudah memenuhi syarat minimal yaitu pendidikan terakhir Sarjana Kedokteran dan Diploma Keperawatan maupun Kebidanan. Sumber dana utama adalah murni dari masing-masing perusahaan swasta. Sarana prasarana disediakan murni dari perusahaan swasta. Pada pros-es ditemukan belum semua ruang laktasi membuat rencana tahunan. Simpulan: Pengorganisasian ruang laktasi perusahaan swasta belum semua mempunyai struktur organisasi yang jelas. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ruang laktasi belum semuanya berjalan dengan baik. Evaluasi dan supervisi sudah di-laksanakan secara rutin dari instansi terkait. Kegiatan integrasi belum semua ruang laktasi berjalan dengan baik.

Aedes albopictus is the secondary vector that played an important role in the transmission of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Previous research has examined the exact radiation dose in producing Ae. albopictus sterile males, which is a dose of 60 Gy. Before being applied in the field, a semi-field trial phase is actually needed. This study aims to determine the competitiveness of Ae. albopictus sterile male mating with a semi-field test. This study is a field experiment and used males radiated until becoming a sterile mosquito. Subject mated to fertile female and divided into 3 groups of samples, the control group (10 normal males and 10 normal females), the test group (10 sterile males and 10 normal females) and the combination group (10 normal males, 30 sterile males, and 10 normal females). Treatment was performed with 3 replications. Tested mosquitoes were placed into the special tent of bugs (bugdoom) with condusive environmental conditions of Ae. albopictus mosquitoes. The results of study showed that there was significant differences (p ≤ 0.0001) the level of sterility of eggs. The test insect group produced the highest sterile eggs 100% compared to the other groups. Value of Mating Competitiveness (C index) Male Sterile Mosquito Ae. albopictus of 0.34. This showed that for TSM applications in actual conditions, it is required 3 times of the population size of sterile males from the normal male population in the field.

Faktor Risiko yang Mempengaruhi Kepatuhaan Terapi Antiretroviral (ARV) pada Pasien HIV/AIDS di RSUD Abepura Jayapura Konstantina Pariaribo; Suharyo Hadisaputro; Bagoes Widjanarko; Muchlis Achsan Udji Sofro

Background: HIV/AIDS is a major problem in many countries. Antiretroviral (ARV) has become the solution for preventing the pandemic disease. This research aimed to ﬁnd out risk factors, which affected the HIV/AIDS patients adherence to the antiretroviral (ARV) therapy. The research took place at RSUD Abepura in Jayapura.Method: The research applied an analytical observational design with a case control, which was supported by qualitative data. There were 86 respondents involved, consisting of 43 case and 43 control respondents. Samples collection used a Simple Random Sampling. Instruments used for this study were questioners and indepth interviews. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analyses using a chi-square test. In addition, it also performed a multivariate analysis using logistic regression test.Results: The research found three risk factors that affected the HIV/AIDS patients adherence to ARV: occupation (p = 0.005; OR = 4.472; 95% CI = 1.633-12.245), inaccessibility to health care center (p = 0.008; OR = 3.675; 95% CI = 1.476-9.146), lacking family supports (p=0.013; OR =3.606; 95% CI = 1.398-9.146). Other factors, sex, age, knowledge, apathetic manner,side-effect history, therapeutic tenure, ethnic background, counseling personnel, health care provider attitude, religious approach, alternative medicine intake, and herbal medicine use, did not have signiﬁcant affects.Conclusion: Factors that affected the ARV therapy adherence were occupation, inaccessibility to health care center, and lacking family supports.

Background: Spray farmers are is one of the population at risk for pesticide poisoning. To determine the presence of pesticide exposure and risk assessment of pesticide poisoning is by measuring serum ChE levels. Based on the data results of ChE examination by Brebes District Health Ofﬁce found 5.5% mild poisoning in Dukuhlo Village. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitude and behavior of the use of pesticides with serum cholinestearse levels in spraying farmers.Method: This research use cross sectional design. Involved 88 farmer sprayers in Dukuhlo Village. The research variables were age, nutritional status, knowledge, attitude, completeness of PPE, smoking when spraying, spraying on wind direction, cleaning sweat by hand or cloth, reentering agriculture area, spraying time, frekuesni spraying, pesticide storage method, and Last time to spray. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis.Results: Factors shown to be associated with serum ChE levels were knowledge of pesticides (p= 0.005; OR: 12,369; 95% CI = 2,1-71,5) and smoking when spraying (p = 0.005; OR: 9,641;95% CI = 2.0-46.1). Factors not shown to be associated with se rum ChE levels are age, nutritional status, attitude, completeness of APD application, spraying on the wind direction, sweating with hands or cloth, reentering agriculture, spraying, fracturing spraying, Pesticides, and last time to spray.Conclusion: Factors associated with serum ChE levels are knowledge of pesticides and smoking when spraying. Health counseling is needed to increase knowledge about pesticides and the dangers of smoking while spraying.

Background: The number of HIV/AIDS cases in Ternate is increasing, until now there are 472 cases reported and in 2019 there were 46 new cases. FSW is one of the key population at risk of HIV.Methods: The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation between knowledge and number of sexual partner with HIV risk among female sex workers (FSW) in Ternate. This study used a cross sectional design. The number of respondents was 92 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis was univariate, and bivariate with chi-square.Result: There were correlation between knowledge (p= 0,013; PR 1,363; 95% CI 1,069-1,704), and the number of sexual partners (p= 0.030; PR 1,497; 95% CI 0,961-2,331) with HIV risk among FSW in Ternate.Conclusion : FSW who had poor knowledge and had ≥3 clients, was correlated with HIV risk.

Background: The incidence of pneumonia in children under five in the working area of the Bandaharjo Community Health Center in 2017 was 443 cases, 2018 was 328 cases, 2019 was 485 cases and in 2020 to June was 231 cases. A history of asthma and a history of comorbidities (anemia and diarrhea) is thought to be one of the determining factors that can cause children under five to develop pneumonia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the history of asthma and comorbid history associated with the incidence of pneumonia in children under five in the Bandaharjo Community Health Center, Semarang City.Methods: This observational study used a case control design used in this study, with a sample of 80, namely 40 case samples and 40 control samples. The study population was all toddlers who seek treatment and live in the working area of Puskesmas Bandaharjo. The sample of cases in this study were toddlers who had pneumonia in January-June 2020, while the control sample was toddlers who did not have pneumonia 1 in January-June 2020. Data collection was through interviews. Data analysis used chi-square test and multiple logistic regression.Results: There was a relationship between history of asthma (p; 0.01; OR 19.5; 95% CI 6.23-61.15), history of comorbidities (p; 0.01; OR 22.91; 95% CI 5, 97-87,83) with the incidence of pneumonia in children under five.Conclusion: History of asthma and history of comorbidity have a strong relationship with the incidence of pneumonia in children under five in the working area of the Bandaharjo Community Health Center, Semarang City.

Background : Gonorrhoea is a health problem with increasing rates worldwide. The phenomena of increasing and spreading gonorrhoea cases affect the high risk groups including Indirect Female Sex Workers (IFSWs). The aim of this study was to explain some host factors as the risk factors of gonorrhoea in IFSWs in Wonosobo.Methods : This is an observational research with control case design. The study population was IFSWs who worked as lady companions in karaoke under the guidance of NGO Wonosobo Youth Center and had done the STI examination by STI clinic. The subjects were 84 consist of 42 case and 42 control. Samples were collected by consecutive sampling technique. Data analysis used chi-square, Odd Ratio (OR) and logistic regression.Results : Influencing factors to the occurence of gonorrhoea in IFSWs were history ofcombination sexual activity (p=0,013; OR=3,843; 95% CI= 1,323-11,63), history of STI (p=0,013; OR=3,863; 95% CI= 1,328-11,240), and consistency of condom use (p=0,009; OR=5,778; 95% CI=1,553-21,491).Conclusion : Factors that had been proven to influence the occurence of gonorrhoea in ISFWs were history of combination sexual activity, history of STI, and consistency of condom use.
