Abstract

The existence of the waste in hospital will cause negative effect to the hospital staffs and the people around the hospital if it is not good to manage waste. The success of the management of waste is detarmined of the many factors, one of them is the behaviour of the cleaning staffs. The aim of this research is to know  the characteristic of the  cleaning staffs, knowledge, attitude and practice in the management of waste in Nirmala Suri Hospital Sukoharjo. Qualitative method is used in this methode of research and subject of  research is all cleaning staffs of Nirmala Suri hospital as many as 12  persons. The tehnique of collecting data by Focus Group Discussion (FGD)  and indepth  interview. The data analysis is content analysis. The result  of the research has shown that the characteristics of the cleaning staffs  based on age, education and work span are various. The youngest age of  the staffis 2l  and the oldest one is  50. The lower education is  Elementary School and the highest one is Diploma  III. The average of work span of the cleaning staffs is six years. The knowledge of the staffs  about the management of the waste from the process of pilling to the  final process is good enough. The attitude of the staffs in the  management of the waste is positive. In doing the management of the  waste, the cleaning staffs refer to the fixed procedure. However, in doing  the job, the cleaning staffs sometimes do not do it as written on the  fixedprocedure.

Abstract

Hospital customer complaints must be responded with good complaint management and assisted with e-complaint applications. As a hospital that has applied e-complaint applications for two years, there has never been an evaluation of complaint management using this e-complaint application at the hospital both in terms of the time of complaint completion and quality improvement of hospital services. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of an e-complaint system for managing customer complaint at one of the type-C private hospitals in Central Java using the HOT FIT approach. This study was qualitative research with an exploratory case study design through in-depth interviews using HOT FIT variables, such as Human, Organization, Technology, and Net Benefit. This study involves 8 main informants and 3 triangulation informants. This study showed that organizational aspects play an important role in encouraging people to the successful implementation of technology. Organizational problems can influence time to resolve complaints due to weak monitoring conducted by superiors who can also relate to the use of complaints data as input for quality improvement. Without the support of organizational commitment to run the technology-based system, the benefits of the system will not be obtained to support complaint management. It is recommended for hospitals to optimize organizational functions for the system and encourage staffs so that they achieve the benefits of the system for the organization's performance.

Abstract

Tetanus Toxoid (TT) immunization for pregnant women is a crucial public health issue. This study aimed to identify the predisposing and reinforcing factors and their association with the completion of TT immunization for pregnant women. This mixed-method research included 50 pregnant women in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters who attend the Posyandu and three mother-and-child health (MHC) workers in Getasan Public Health Center. The predisposing factors include knowledge and attitude of the pregnant women and reinforcing spouse support and perception toward health workers. The result shows a significant correlation among predisposing and reinforcing factors with the completion of TT immunization. On the other hand, the MHC workers indicate loss of follow-up and maladministration, which further act on TT immunization among pregnant mothers. We suggest MHC workers strengthen the administration and education among pregnant women

Abstract

In Kendal for 3 years an increasing number of early age pregnant mother and maternal and infant mortality of early age pregnant mother. These deaths are more prevalent in the northern coast than the mountains, while supporting the health infrastructure in the northern coast more complete. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influencing the antenatal care practice to early age pregnant mother in the northern coast of Kendal. Type of study is explanatory research using the survey method and cross sectional approach. Subjects were 35 early age pregnantmother third trimester from the coast, was selected for a total sampling. Data were collected through interviews with a structured questionnaire. Tests performed with chi-square bivariate and multivariate logistic regression test. The independent variables are the characteristics (age, reason for marriage, education, and employment), income, knowledge, attitudes, acceptance of pregnancy, family support, spousal support and the support of health professionals. Dependent variables prenatal care practices. The majority of respondents aged 17-19 years old, married on their own, low education, the majority do not work with household income ≥ minimum wage (Rp 843,750.00) as much as 62.9%. Respondents with a much better knowledge of 54.3%, has a good attitude toward prenatal care 57.1%. Respondents who received pregnancy with either 57.1%, of respondents with good family support 57.1%. Support 88.6% a good husband, a good support health workers 57.1%. Respon-dents with good prenatal care 57.1%. There is a relationship between income (p=0.005), knowledge (p=0.016), attitude (p=0.005) and the acceptance of pregnancy (p = 0.034) with the practice of prenatal care. Attitudes, income and the acceptance of the pregnancy together relate to the practice of prenatal care. The dominant factor associated with the practice of prenatal care is the attitude with OR=15.6. Suggested to the Department of Health to develop SOP and antenatal package in high risk pregnant mother spesially to early age pregnant mother. In addition it is necessary jampersal outreach and cooperation between KUA and Health Office for assistance early age brides in choosing contraception.

Abstract

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator to see the success of maternal health efforts. The results of the 2018 Riskesdas stated that in Indonesia, 48.9% of pregnant women had anemia. 84.6% of anemia in pregnant women occurs in the 15-24 year age group. To prevent anemia, every pregnant woman is expected to get a blood supplement (TTD) of at least 90 tablets during pregnancy. The coverage of giving iron tablets to pregnant women in Indonesia in 2019 was 64.0%. This figure has not reached the 2019 Strategic Plan target of 98%. The low compliance of pregnant women in drinking iron tablets requires a meditation application to help remind them to drink iron tabletsThe aim of the study : was to analyze the effect of the Pregnant Women Friend Application (ASIH) on compliance with Fe tablets and anemia status of pregnant womenMethods: Design This study is an analytical study with experimental design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in Indonesia.Results: Adherence to taking iron tablets increased after being given the application. The statistical test proved that the application had an effect on adherence to drinking iron tablets (P value = 0.000). : Anemia status has decreased after being given the application. The statistical test proved that the application had an effect on anemia status (P value = 0.000).Conclusion: Compliance of pregnant women taking iron tablets and anemia status after using the application was higher, compared to before using the application

Abstract

Pencapaian tujuan pelaksanaan Kelas Ibu Hamil dalam rangka menurunkan AKI secara bermakna dengan deteksi dini dan penanganan ibu hamil berisiko belum tercapai yang mengindikasikan bahwa kualitas pelayanan yang masih rendah dan berdampak pada ketidakpuasan terhadap pelayanan di kelas ibu hamil. Gambaran ketidakpuasan meliputi rendahnya kunjungan di kelas ibu hamil (20,37%), ketidakpuasan disebabkan oleh faktor akses, lokasi, fasilitas, kenyamanan dan kurangnya pemberian informasi. Dari studi pendahuluan terhadap 15 peserta kelas ibu hamil sebanyak 67% menyatakan tidak puas dan 33% puas. Pengukuran faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan ibu hamil penting dilakukan sebagai bahan perbaikan berkesinambungan terhadap kualitas pelayanan di kelas ibu hamil.Tujuan penelitian menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan ibu hamil terhadap kualitas pelayanan kelas ibu hamil di Kota Semarang. Rancangan penelitian observasional analitik cross sectional dengan sampel 160 responden perwakilan dari 16 kecamatan di Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan ibu hamil berdasarkan uji Chi-Square yaitu fasilitas (nilai p=0,000),lokasi (nilai p=0,003),pendidikan (nilai p=0,000) dan pekerjaan (nilai p=0,001). Sedangkan variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah umur (nilai p=0,929),penghasilan (nilai p=1,0),jumlah hamil (nilai p=1,0),usia hamil (nilai p=0,138). Analisis multivariat regresi logistik yaitu faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan ibu hamil adalah fasilitas (nilai p=0,004 dan OR=2,937) dan lokasi (nilai p=0,007 dan OR=2,773) dengan nilai probabilitas 85%.Saran untuk meningkatkan kepuasan ibu hamil terhadap pelayanan di kelas ibu hamil adalah meningkatkan fasilitas, ketrampilan petugas kesehatan, promosi dan sosialisasi melalui media, partisipasi aktif peserta kelas melalui pembentukan kepengurusan kelas, koordinasi penentuan lokasi kelas ibu hamil dengan sistem mikrosimulasi dan kerjasama interprofesi tenaga kesehatan serta pelibatan institusi pendidikan kesehatan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKematian ibu masih cukup tinggih di propinsi Sulawesi tengah. Terdapat 122 angka kematian ibu yang terdiri dari 48 kematian ibu hamil, dan 45,83% penyebab kematian karena Hiper tensi dalam kehamilan. yang seharusnya kasus ini bisa diatasi pada saat pemeriksaan kehamilan. Kegiatan peningkatan kemampuan, sikap dan keterampilan pelaksana asuhan ibu hamil (ANC) yang bermutu disebut dengan Pelatihan ANC Terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan Menganalisis dimensi mutu pelayanan asuhan Antenatal care oleh bidan pasca pelatihan ANC Terpadu di Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah.. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam pada empat belas orang informan utama yaitu bidan yang telah mengikuti pelatihan ANC terpadu di daerah terpencil dan perbatasan serta daerah yang bermasalah kesehatan yang bertugas di Puskesmas. Informan triangulasi adalah empat belas orang ibu hamil, dan enam orang Kasi KIA DKK Kabupaten, Kota dan Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aspek masukan: asuhan Antenatal care dilakukan oleh bidan,dengan latar belakang pendidikan D III kebidanan, Pelayanan antenatal care tidak dipunggut biaya, dan alat pemeriksaan laboratorium seperti pemeriksaan HB, test protein dan glukose belum lengkap sehingga tidak dapat mendeteksi adanya komplikasi atau penyakit yang menyertai kehamilan, yang menyebabkan mutu pelayanan bidan kepada ibu hamil belum baik. Proses pembuatan perencanaan asuhan, pemeriksaan Kehamilan dilaksanakan Setiap ada kunjungan pemeriksaan Kehamilan., sesuai tahapan standar pelayanan dan pengawasan pelaksanaan Asuhan dilakukan Sebulan sekali dan yang diawasi adalah Pencapaian PWS, Kinerja bidan, Kasus kematian, Kasus rujukan.Mutu pelayanan asuhan Antenatal care oleh bidan pasca pelatihan ANC Terpadu kepada ibu hamil di Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah sudah berjalan baik. Bidan dalam memberikan pelayanan antenatal care kepada ibu hamil menghargai, menghormati, memberikan perhatian dan mendengarkan keluhan dan juga menjaga rahasia ibu hamil. Direkomendasikan kepada Kasi KIA DKK Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah untuk lebih memperhatikan dan memenuhi kelengkapan alat pemeriksaan kehamilan, khususnya alat pemeriksaan laboratorium seperti Test Protein, Glukose dan pemeriksaan HB.Kata kunci : Mutu Pelayanan asuhan Antenatal, aspek masukan, Proses, keluaran.ABSTRACTMaternal Mortality Rate in Province of Central Sulawesi was high (122/100,000 live births).Therefore, there needed to conduct a training to improve ability, attitude, and skills of midwives in providing Antenatal Care Services (ANC). This related to quality of ANC services. An integrated training of ANC had been conducted at a province level in 2012. The aim of this study was to analyse dimensions of quality of ANC services by midwives after training of integrated ANC. This was a qualitative study. Data were collected by conducting observation and indepth interview towards 14 main informants consisted of midwives working at health centres who had followed the training of integrated ANC in remote and border areas and in an area that had health problems. Meanwhile, informants for triangulation purpose consisted of 14 pregnant women and 6 heads of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) sections at District Health Office, City Health Office, and Province Health Office of Central Sulawesi. Furthermore, data were analysed using content analysis. The results of this study showed that regarding input, ANC services were provided by Midwives graduated from D III Midwifery, ANC services were free of charge, and there was lack of laboratory equipment particularly for tests of Haemoglobin, Protein, and Glucose. Planning was made when there was any visit, ANC was conducted in accordance with a service standard. The local area monitoring of MCH coverage was implemented once a month. Midwives in providing ANC services appreciated, respected, paid attention, listened complaints, and keep secrets of pregnant women. As suggestions, Heads of MCH sections at Health Offices in Province of Central Sulawesi need to provide laboratory equipment for pregnancy test particularly for tests of protein, glucose, and haemoglobin.Keywords : Quality of Antenatal Care Services, Aspects of Input, Process, and Output

Abstract

Based on the medical records of the Banyumanik Hospital, the number of visits in the Banyumanik Hospital dental clinic in 2015 was 766 patients (90%), increasing in 2016 to 781 (91%), but decreased in 2017 to 724 patients (85%) one factor the cause is the quality of service. This study aimed  to analyze the effect of quality outpatient services on patient satisfaction in dental polyclinics in hospitals. Banyumanik Semarang. This was quantitative research with cross sectional design. The number of samples in this study were 54 respondents. Research variables were 5 dimensions of service quality. The results of the study showed the dimensions of the quality of outpatient care in dental poly: Real Evidence had a poor result of 68.5, reliability had poor results of 32 respondents 59.3%, poor responsiveness 40.7%, poor guarantees 59.3%, poor empathy at 55.6%, and less patient satisfaction at 44.4%. In the results of multivariate analysis that the responsiveness variable has the highest significance of 0.039 with the value of Exp (B) 4,566. The conclusion of this study was that the dimensions of service quality namely Real Evidence, Responsiveness, and Empathy affect patient satisfaction, while the guarantee does not affect the satisfaction of outpatients in the Dental Polyclinic Hospital. Abstract

Sejak tahun 2013 Kota Surabaya telah melakukan upaya peningkatan PHBS institusi pendidikan melalui “Eco School” dan sebanyak 84% mendapat pembinaan tentang PHBS, namun belum dapat mengubah perilaku siswa, sedangkan di wilayah Surabaya Barat hanya 68,75%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis implementasi program pendidikan kesehatan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat institusi pendidikan oleh petugas promosi kesehatan Puskesmas Wilayah Kota Surabaya Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sebagai informan utama (tim promosi kesehatan dari 4 Puskesmas) dan informan triangulasi (4 kepala Puskesmas, 8 guru UKS, dan 1 kasie pelayanan kesehatan dasar Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya). Penentuan informan berdasarkan cakupan pembinaan PHBS.Teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petugas pelaksana program PHBS belum sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri no 585/menkes/sk/V/2007 yaitu D III Promosi kesehatan, namun memiliki jabatan fungsional sebagai koordinator promosi kesehatan, semua petugas belum mendapatkan pelatihan PHBS institusi pendidikan. Pendanaan kegiatan upaya mencapai sekolah sehat di Puskesmas diambil dari BOK dan APBD sudah mencukupi, di sekolah didanai BP3 dan sumbangan siswa. Peralatan sarana untuk penyuluhan beberapa dalam kondisi rusak. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan tidak tersedia petunjuk pelaksanaan dan petunjuk teknis. Perencanaan dilakukan 1 tahun sekali membahas hasil pengamatan di institusi pendidikan terutama target yang belum tercapai di tahun sebelumnya. Perencanaan, pengorganisasian,penggerakan, pelaksanaan serta penilaian dilakukan oleh tim promkes. Indikator program PHBS yang belum mencapai target adalah tersedianya kantin sehat dan menimbang badan serta ukur tinggi badan setiap 6 bulan. Program PHBS sekolah sudah dilaksanakan namun latar belakang pendidikan petugas belum sesuai, belum tersedia petunjuk pelaksanaan dan petunjuk teknis secara khusus bagi petugas pelaksana program di Puskesmas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah ada pengaruh antara dimensi kualitas pelayanan yaitu tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy terhadap kepuasan pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan di instalasi rawat jalan RSUD dr. H. Soewondo Kendal.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional . Populasi penelitian adalah pasien rawat jalan peserta BPJS Kesehatan di poli rawat jalan RSUD dr. H. Soewondo Kendal, sedangkan subyeknya adalah pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan di poli rawat jalan yang telah pernah periksa minimal 2-3 kali dengan menggunakan kartu BPJS Kesehatan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan cara Non Probability Sampling. Data diolah dan dianalisisi dengan analisis Smart PLS. Besar sampel sejumlah 100 orang responden dan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling untuk pengambilan sampel.   Berdasarkan analisis dengan Smart PLS hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tangible / bentuk fisik  mempunyai pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan nilai t-hitung 3,043 > 1.96 , reliability / keandalan mempunyai pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan nilai t-hitung 2,571 > 1.96, responsiveness / daya tanggap  mempunyai pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan nilai t-hitung 3,101 > 1.96, assurance / jaminan tidak mempunyai pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan nilai t-hitung 1,491 < 1.96, dan empathy / perhatian  mempunyai pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien dengan nilai t-hitung 3,469 > 1.96. Hasil uji hipotesis ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua dimensi kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah empat dari lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan yang diteliti mempunyai pengaruh positip secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan di Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD dr. H. Soewondo. Dimensi mutu tangible, reliability, responsiveness dan emphaty mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan di Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD dr. H. Soewondo dan dimensi assurance tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien.
