The Objective of this study was to know whether or not there is a significant influence of online reading habit on reading achievement of the eleventh grade students of Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 of Palembang. The method of this study was Descriptive method. Next, The population of this study was all the students of the eleventh grade students of senior high school Muhammadiyah 1 of Palembang in academic years 2015/2016 consisted of 475 students. The researcher used the simple random sampling by taking five students every class. In collecting the data, the reseacher used questionnaire and reading test. In analyzing the data, the researcher applied the product moment correlation analysis and simple regression analysis in SPSS 16 software. Based on result of this study indicated that the correlation coefficient was 0.749 and the significant level was 0.01. Since the correlation coefficient obtained in this study was higher than r-table value, it was concluded that there was a correlation between studentsâ€™ online reading habit and their reading achievement. While the number of significant (2-tailed) obtained was 0.001 which was less than the critical limit of Î± = 0.05, it means that there was a significant correlation between online reading habit and reading achievement. Based on the regression analysis, it was found that R2= 0.561which implied that 56.1% of the studentsâ€™reading achievement was contributed by their reading habit.

The objective of the study is to find out whether it is effective or not using jigsaw learning model in teaching reading comprehension of spoof text to the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. In this study, the researcher used experimental method. The population of this study is all the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang with the total numbers of students was 392. Therefore, the sample of the study is 72 students consist two classes,namely: 36 students for control group and 36 students for experimental group. The sample was taken by using non purposisve random sampling method. The data collected by using written test consist of 30 questions and the type of questions is multiple choice. The result of the test was analyzed by using t-test which were pair sample t-test and independent sample t-test was known as: mean of post test in expermental group was 72.22 higher than past test mean score of control group was 58.64. Furthermore, the result of t-obtained was 6.132 and t-table was 2.030, it shows that t-obtained was higher than t-table. From the explanation above, there were significant difference between the experimental group that have been taught by using jigsaw learning model and control group that was not taught using treatment. It means that, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It was concluded that it was effective of using jigsaw learning model to teach reading comprehension of spoof text to the eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 13 Palembang.

Design and planningof Banyumas art and cultural building are based on the need of Â art and cultural facility in Banyumas Regency. There have been Â many art andcultural facilities in Banyumas, but no one are spesifically design for art and cultural activity. Because of these reason, those cultural faciliies can not be used Â efisienly. Art and cultural building, whichis located in Purwokerto City,also needs to have a touch of Banyumas Cultural nuance as part of its integrated design. The goal of Art and Cultural Building designing and planing is get an Art and Cultural Building with Banyumasn Nuance by using Locality Prespective as an Approach. This locality prespective will be used along the design and planing and can be seen at groundplan, siteplan, massing, Landscape, and structure.Â The result is a design of art and cultural building with many facilities such as artist and cultural observer secretariat,Â auditorium, galery, amphitheatre, pendhapa, office building, and mousque.Keywords: Art centre, Culture, Defined Cultural of Banyumas, Locality

Planning and design of the Flats with Ecological Architecture approach is motivated by the density of settlements and slums along the Boro River,Jagalan Village, Surakarta. Density of existing settlements and slum area along the river resulted in environmental degradation and reduced Jagalan Village Green Open Space, because the settlement construction is done without regard to environmental conditions, resulting in an imbalance between natural and artificial environments. Environmental damage in the Village Jagalan then compounded by the behavior of people who dump waste in the river. Based on this phenomenon occurs due to lack of sufficient density residential land settlement and imbalance between the natural and the artificial environment characterized by reduced RTH and flooding in Jagalan. The purpose of the planning and design of flats with Ecological Architecture approach is to accommodate the needs of residential Jagalan and create a balance between the environment and settlements. The approach used in the flats that takes into account the principles of planning and design of Ecology Architecture include: green buildings, building that responds to floods, waste water conservation so that waste water discharged into the river does not pollute the environment, saving energy by considering the direction of the wind and sun , and using recycled materials in the flats. The results of the planning and design of the Flats with Ecological Architecture approach is a dwelling that is in accordance with the needs of the community and environment friendly.Â Keywords: A Flats, Ecology Architecture, Prone to flooding

Designing Private General Hospital Class C in the Kabupaten Wonogiri motivated by needs of society to have better health services, the increased of population growth was offset by increasing the number of health facilities, the spread of hospital in Wonogiri is unequal, Kabupaten Wonogiri is lack of 283 beds, the rumors about reduction of hospitals grade with facilities of Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial. The purpose of this design is to generate design of hospital buildings as a place for people of Wonogiri and communities outside Wonogiri, to obtain health facilities as the main reference with the capability of service that are adjusted to the regulation standard of Class C Hospital by using a healing garden as a healing facility or therapy. So far, the existing paradigm regarding hospital is the patients often feel uncomfortable when receiving medical and treatment due to the circumstances of the hospital which is seemed creepy and claustrophobic for patients. So it can trigger stress of them which can cause patient's immune system becomes depressed so that the process of recovery and healing the patient became obstructed. The method used is a method of designing the architecture, applied to the hospital building with characteristics of physical environment of a hospital facility must be designed by emphasizing the comfortability and safety for patients, with healing garden facilities aims to reduce stress levels of patients who will be treated at the hospital.

In 2015, South Jakarta region was the most active in supplying office. This Development is certainly an impact on the growing needs of residential apartments as a provision of housing solution in the downtown. Conditions of Jakarta city with traffic congestion and insufficient green open space as a place of social interaction is one of the high levels stress triggers of Jakarta residents. Therefore, the provision of housing needed an apartment that is able to address issues regarding the provision of green open space, social housing activities system and space requirements that can provide therapeutic effects on the occupants in it as an effort to reduce stress levels. The approach method used in addressing the problem is Biophilic Design, where a building is able to harmony the interests of a human with nature. Purposes of applying the Biophilic Design into an apartment building is to create a shelter that can deliver restorative spaces for human physical, sanify nervous system and improve the prosperousity. Application of Biophilic Design into buildings accomplished by implementing 8 of 14 patterns of Biophilic Design which have been under consideration ease of implementation and the effects on the psychological stimulated. The determined patterns then synthesized with architectural elements and applied in the form of the mass of the building, lighting systems, air system, use of materials and green open space provision system vertically. The Background of the shelter house design for breast cancer patient using healing environment in Surakarta city is the increasing number of breast cancer patient in Surakarta city, uneven facility and infrastructure of breast cancer treatment in Indonesia, and there is no shelter house especially for breast cancer patient in Surakarta city. Therefore the aim of this design is to get a building design which can facilitate and serve the breast cancer patient’s activity and treatment. The building design considers healing environment concept in Surakarta city. The problem of the design is how to plan and design shelter house for breast cancer patient using healing environment concept in Surakarta city which can facilitate the activity for a certain time with a certain education system. The method that used is architecture planing method. The result is the building which consider healing environment concept in Surakarta city.

This study would like to reveal the magnitude of the role of parents, especiallymothers in educating children and this should be one of the important considerationsin fostering a bright future family. But what happens is just the opposite, where withthe growing number of children, the easier it is for parents to hand over theireducation and care to other parties or people, including formal education institutions.This study uses qualitative methods through related literature review. The results ofthis study revealed the importance of the government playing a role in educationthrough special attention to the existence of formal and non-formal educationinstitutions. In addition, government care is also important in improving the quality ofeducation for mothers as informal education providers for children. Though as amother who has a big role in parenting and children's education plays a veryimportant role so that the influence of the planting of children's intelligence should berealized by the mother. In order to be able to compete with other countries in thefuture, then a great attention to efforts to empower children needs to be improved.The government through institutions such as the Minister of National Education, theMinister of Women Empowerment, Minister of Health, BKKBN and others canbecome pioneers through related policies. Of course the Government must strive sothat the interest is accompanied by providing sufficient knowledge to the mothers. Microteaching is a practical event which is very beneficial for candidate teachers to have real environment of teaching. The candidate teachers get big chances to implement their experience in teaching. The students’ perfectives are crucial for promoting teacher education programs’ outcomes. This study aimed at investigating the students’ views of thirty students from the English Language Education Program of FKIP-UIR. A combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques used in gathering the data. Mainly, a questionnaire and a focus group interview were used as the main tools for data collection. The findings revealed that the entire sample of student has stated that they were having their own perspectives towards Microteaching and their opinion during microteaching sessions provides a scope to enhance their teaching skills for real teaching sessions. Based on the findings, these candidate teachers were glad to have real teaching session during microteaching class

The purpose of this study is to know the teaching and learning activity in implementing the 2013 curriculum. This research is based on a preliminary study of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in some junior high schools around Pekanbaru by observing and interviewing English teachers. This research is qualitative. Researcher use observation sheet and interview to know the learning activities in SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. Based on the research findings, first, the stage of teaching and learning process in the classroom, the teacher has not been able to carry out the ideal teaching step; second, professionally, the curriculum implementer has not received training from the government to support the teaching and learning process in the classroom and the last available resources and media Not yet supported. By doing this research, researchers hope that the government does the right training for all English teachers in applying the 2013 curriculum.
