Abstract

Sebagian besar mahasiswa fisika memiliki pandangan fisika klasik dalam mempelajari fisika kuantum. Pembelajaran pemodelanpada penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan model mental mahasiswa dalam mempelajari model konseptual kuantum. Model mental adalah gambaran yang tercipta dalam pikiran tentang suatu fenomena alam. Model konseptual adalah gambaran dari fenomena alam yang sesuai dengan pandangan para ilmuan.Analisis kualitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah grounded theory. Hasil dari analisis tersebutdidapatkan pandangan (model mental) mahasiswa tentang konsep fisika kuantum adalah model kuantum, intermediate dan mekanikaklasik.Mahasiswa mengalami perubahan daerah dimensi pemahaman dari mekanika klasik menjadi model mental kuantum.Akurasi dari identifikasi model mental mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan membuat gambar interpretasi secara berulang. Gambar tersebut dapat diperkuat dengan hasil observasi dan wawancara.   Most of physics students hold classical physics perspective when they learn quantum physics. Modeling instruction is implemented to identifymental modelschanging in learning quantum conceptual models.Mental model is animage created in the mind of a natural phenomenon. The conceptual models are a description of natural phenomena in appropriate with the scientistsperspective.Qualitative analysis used in this research is grounded theory. The results of identification student model mental is categorized as quantum, intermediate and clasical mechanics. Students haveexperienced changing of dimensional understanding area from classical mechanics into a quantum perpective. The accuracy of mental modelidentification can be improved by making the interpretation image repeatedly.The images can be legitimated by observations and interviews.

Abstract

To day National curriculum submit to the basic oppinion that the knowlege can’t translet just at the momment from the teacher to the stuent. It’s because the students are the subject who have ability to active loding for,  processing, constructing and using the knowledge, so that learning that have facilities of the teacher, the  teacher need to giving opportunity to the students for constructing the knowledgein kognitive process. The ones that influential in learning process is act of determining from learning models by the teacher . Learning models that can be using is discovery learning. The  purpose of this riset to know the characteristic learning models discovery learning, to know the comunicative skills that develop and to know the efectively learning models discovery learning to increase science concept capability. Design of study is research and development are described in step follows: 1) preliminary studies, 2) initial product development, 3) product trial to a small group, 4) field product trials, 5) product  revision, 6) Final product have been revision. Results from the research show that: 1) The characteristic Discovery Learning Model can looked of learning syntax  which of ; stimulation, problem statement, data collecting, data processing, verification, and generalization. 2) Discovery Learning Model emphasizes the discovery of a concepts whose problems are engineered by the teacher. 3) Result obtained using t – test on pre-test and post – test is significant visible from the calculation t is on 8.889 while t table 2.028. This shows t count is greater than t table. 4) The development of communication skills of students has increased this is indicated from discovery I 33% and discovery II 75%. Written communication skills of the highest on the indicator of translation of goals and the lowest on the indicator material mastery. Based on the results can be concluded that: development of Discovery Learning Model should be based sintax of discovery learning, development of Discovery Learning Model using scienstific can be increase student’s comprehension and communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mastery of reasoning ability and mathematical communication, the difference of reasoning ability and mathematical communication in the two sample classes, and also describes the students' reasoning and communication ability. Type of research used is mix method. Quantitative research with random sampling technique while qualitative research with purposive technique. Data collection uses observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The learning mastery test shows that the reasoning ability and the mathematical communication of the experimental class learners reaches completeness. The average difference test shows that the reasoning ability and the experimental mathematics of the experimental class is better than the control class. Based on the learning style not all students who have good reasoning ability, the communication skills are good, and vice versa. This research is expected to be useful to be a source of information in answering the problems that occur in the learning process, especially in improving student learning outcomes in sub rectangular themes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) ingin mengungkapkan aspek sosial dan situasi yang terdapat dalam puisi yang dianalisis; dan 2) untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur grmatikal dan leksikal yang digunakan penyair dalam penciptaan puisinya tersebut. Adapun masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimana konteks sosial dan konteks situasi yang disajikan dalam puisi yang menjadi objek penelitian; 2) unsur-unsur gramatikal dan leksikal apa saja yang digunakan penyair dalam pembentukan puisinya. Kajian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis makrostruktural dapat diketahui bahwa konteks sosial dan konteks situasi yang ditampilkan dalam puisi adalah mengenai kerusakan alam di Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil analisis mikrostruktural menunjukkan bahwa puisi yang dianalisis memnfaatkan berbagai unsur gramatikal seperti referensi, ellipsis,dan konjungsi; dan juga memanfaatkan berbagai unsur leksikal seperti repetisi dan kolokasi

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mengetahui makna simbol yang terdapat dalammitos Asal Mula Sungai Barito sehingga cerita tersebut dapat lebihterpahami oleh pembaca. Dengan demikian masalah dalam penelitian iniadalah makna yang terkandung dalam simbol-simbol yang terdapat dalamcerita mitos Asal Mula Sungai Barito. Kajian ini menggunakan metodedeskriptif-kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Pendekatan yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan strukturalisme Levi Strauss.Berdasarkan kajian dapat diketahui bahwa cerita mitos Asal Mula SungaiBarito banyak mengandung simbol berupa budaya Kalimantan seperti nagayang dapat berbicara yang merupakan simbol yang bermakna bahwa nagadipercaya merupakan penguasa alam bawah (air) yang dapat berkomunikasidengan manusia dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang mempunyai sumber daya mineral melimpah diantaranya adalah pasir besi, stronsium, dan keramik porselin. Bahanbahan tersebut sering digunakan sebagai bahan baku dalam komponen elektronik. Material keramik dari lempung dimanfaatkan sebagai dielektrik sedangkan stronsium dan pasir besi sebagai bahan ferit. Stronsium memiliki sifat yang ringan, tahan terhadap suhu tinggi, serta tidak mudah rapuh. Selain itu stronsium memiliki permitivitas listrik yang tinggi yang cocok digunakan sebagai bahan dielektrik pengisi kapasitor. Bahan dielektrik yang dapat menyimpan energi tinggi adalah bahan dielektrik berbentuk keramik. Keramik porselin alumina memiliki rumus kimia(Al2O3). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan struktur dielektrik pada kapasitor dengan komposit stronsium ferit-keramik porselin alumina. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari dielektrik maka dibuat komposit dari Sr ferit dan keramik alumina. Sehingga bahan dielektrik lebih ringan, tahan terhadap korosi, dapat menyimpan energi lebih banyak. Dielektrik dibuat dengan komposit stronsium ferit dan keramik porselin alumina dan perekat menggunakan PVA. Stronsium ferit disintesis dengan bahan baku utama stronsium oksida dan pasir besi. Bahan keramik diambil dari bahan-bahan alam lempung. Pembuatan komposit dengan variasi stronsium ferit dan keramik 0:20 gram, 5:15 gram, 10:10 gram, dan 15 : 5 gram. Pencetakan dilakukan menggunakan pompa hidraulik bertekanan 4 ton diameter cetakan 4 cm. Sintering dilakukan dengan menggunakan furnace pada temperatur 250oC. Karakterisai yang dilakukan adalah uji kuat tekan, uji kapasitansi, dan uji Microscopy dengan menggunakan SEM. Hasil uji kuat tekan menunjukkan semakin meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya stronsium ferit dan tertinggi dengan variasi stronsium ferit massa 15 gram adalah 34,7 x 102 kg. Uji kapasitansi menggunakan plat aluminium diperoleh nilai kapasitansi tertinggi pada variasi massa stronsium ferit 5 gram yaitu 11.5 nF yang dialiri arus AC 7 V. Struktur permukaan menunjukkan penambahan stronsium ferit pada komposit dielektrik adalah heterogen.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for teachers to conduct assessment or assessment practices that are in line with the demands of the curriculum. The research aims to: (1) develop an assessment of the learning process in mathematics class V SDN; (2) improve the quality of assessment instruments for the mathematics learning process in the fifth grade of Karanganyar District Elementary School drawing space based on the 2013 curriculum. This type of research is R & D with the observation method. The results of the preliminary research in the form of observations of instruments that will be developed show that the instrument is in the medium category of 22 items and is in the bad category of 4 items. Subsequently given material enrichment which finally can improve the quality of the instrument into 19 medium categories and 7 good category questions. This R & D research uses instrument trials ranging from observation, instrument development to implementation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, carried out in SD Negeri Karangnyar Regency class V with the subject of Drawing Geometry. Results of the research: at the initial stage (observation) there were 4 instruments in the bad category and 22 in the medium category. The revision is done by providing material reinforcement on items 17 and 19, which is about drawing perspective lines on pyramid and prisms. The development phase (test of improvement) experienced the medium category of 19 instruments and good categories into 7 instruments. The implementation phase of the instrument in the medium category 3 instruments is in the category of 23 instruments. So that it can be concluded that "the development of an assessment instrument for the process of learning mathematics drawing up the space in the Karanganyar District Elementary School level" is worthy of use because it has increased students can concretize a picture of a rib that does not appear to be a perspective image and from the stages that must be passed in the instrument development procedure.

Abstract

This study has a purpose of determining the effectiveness of problem-based learning models with open-ended approach on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities; the comparison of the effectiveness of problem-based learning with open-ended approach and discovery learning on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities; describe the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This type of research was a quantitative narrative with a true experimental design. Quantitative data collection was done using a test and interview. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning models with open-ended approach were effective in improving the students' mathematical problem-solving ability, it can be seen from the classical completeness of the experimental class which is more than 75%, the average of experimental class’s problem-solving ability was  higher than the class with discovery learning, the students with high problem-solving ability were able to meet all the indicators of problem-solving, the students with moderate problem-solving ability were not able to write down the problem-solving steps, and the students with low problem-solving ability were still making a mistake in the calculation and drawing conclusion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan distribusi sedimen batuan dan kedalaman horizontal dan vertikal juga yang terkandung di bawah permukaan lokasi penelitian di Semarang Ngaliyan Wonosari dengan menggunakan jenis tiang-tiang konfigurasi. Data hasil pengukuran lapangan dalam bentuk beda potensial dan arus dapat digunakan untuk menghitung nilai tahanan jenis semu. Setelah nilai yang dihitung dari tahanan jenis semu kemudian dibuat dari tiga bagian dimensi horizontal dan vertikal lintas sehingga dapat diketahui lapisan batu di lokasi dengan menggunakan software Res3Dinv untuk mengetahui resistivitas dan kedalaman setiap irisan. Dengan mengacu dari hasil pengolahan Res3Dinv dapat dibuat interpretasi nilai-nilai resistivitas. Berdasarkan interpretasi yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa daerah penelitian terdiri dari jenis batuan sedimen dalam bentuk geologi batuan aluvium seperti serpih, lempung sampai pasir dengan dominasi tanah liat. Tanah liat rata-rata terletak pada kedalaman 15,1-24,3 m dengan rata resistivitas antara 0,57-27,6 Ωm tersebar di seluruh irisan diambil. Batu pasir ditemukan di kedalaman rata-rata hingga 24,3-96,1 m dengan resistivitas 27,6-130 Ωm ada paling signifikan dalam sepotong horisontal. Lain seperti batu kapur dan basal keberadaannya tidak terlalu signifikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical properties of wall paint by utilizing teak leaf extract containing carotenoids as natural dyes. Exploration of teak leaf extract is done by boiling teak leaves using 350 ml of water until boiling and filtering with screen mash T100. As an adhesive used 75 grams of tapioca flour and quicklime mixture with a composition ratio of 1: 3, 1: 1 and 3: 1. The solvents used are aqudes and fillers are white cement and PVAc glue. In this study the process of making paint is done by mixing all ingredients from pigments, adhesives, and solvents until homogeneous. Testing of the physical properties of paint, carried out through the test density, viscosity, and adhesion. The results of this study indicate that the composition of the most optimum paint formulation is found in the variation of adhesive with a ratio of 3: 1 which results in a density value of 1.26 gr / ml, viscosity 0.26 poise and adhesion power of 95%.
