Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated teaching material that combines Kitabah (writing skills) and Nahwu (Arabic grammar), seeking to enhance students' understanding of Arabic grammar and writing skills. The background of this research lies in the separation between Nahwu and Kitabah learning, which has led to difficulties for students in applying grammar rules in writing at the twelfth grade of Pondok Pesantren Masdarul Ulum. Therefore, there is a need for teaching materials that integrate these two aspects to bridge the gap. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model, consisting of six stages: potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, and product testing. The results of the study show that the developed teaching material is effective, as evidenced by a significant difference between the students' pre-test and post-test scores, with a Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant improvement in students' writing skills and understanding of Nahwu after using this integrated teaching material. This research contributes to the development of more applicable and contextual Arabic teaching materials, emphasizing the integration of theory and practice in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the management of the Islamic boarding school-based junior high school curriculum at Syuhratul Islam Gelumbang Junior High School with a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of the study is on four management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating an integrated curriculum that integrates the national curriculum (K13) with the Islamic boarding school curriculum. The results of the study indicate that curriculum planning is carried out collaboratively involving all stakeholders based on the vision of producing a globally competitive Quranic generation. The organization of the curriculum applies the principle of maintaining a good traditional system while adopting relevant innovations. The implementation of the curriculum is implemented through a variety of learning methods that are adjusted to the characteristics of the subjects. Evaluation is carried out in stages and continuously covering aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills. The integrated curriculum model with three main pillars of Adab, Al-Qur'an, and Diniyah has proven to be successful in improving the quality and quantity of graduates, making a significant contribution to the development of a modern Islamic boarding school education model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi qiro’ah berbasis e-learning menggunakan Moodle dengan pendekatan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran qiro’ah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Reseacrh and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil pengembangan berupa Materi Qiro’ah berbasis Moodle. Hasil kalayakan validasi oleh ahli materi yaitu sebesar 78,33% dan untuk kelayakan validasi oleh ahli media yaitu sebesar 83,33% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Untuk hasil angket kebutuhan siswa sebesar 71% dengan ini siswa membutuhan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-learning dan untuk angket respon siswa sebesar 87,6% yang mana siswa tertarik daam pemanfaatan teknologi. Hasil untuk Pre-Test sebesar 51% sebelum perlakuan dan hasil Post-Test sebesar 84% sesudah perlakuan. Dengan hasil N-Gain sebasar 0,65 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang.

Abstract

The background of this research is the condition in the field that there is still a lack of digital teaching materials for Arabic language learning. So far, teachers only use textbooks that are still monotonous in their implementation, not dynamic enough to see the development of technology which is currently very rapid. The objectives in this study are (1) to determine the development of digital-based Arabic teaching materials with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, (2) to determine the effectiveness of using digital-based Arabic teaching materials with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This research method is mixed method with Research and Development (R&D) design using Borg and Gall model. The results of this study showed a difference, the average pretest score was 38.9 and the average posttest score was 86.4. From the results of the pretest and posttest, the results of the normality test were pretest 0.088>0.05 and posttest 0.151>0.05, so the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed. Then the results of the homogeneity test show the sig value> 0.05, namely 0.571> 0.05, so the data variance is homogeneous data. From the paired t test it is known that the sig value. (2-tailed) < than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a real difference and influence between learning outcomes on pretest and posttest data. N-Gain Score test results are >78.6108 then the product development of digital-based Arabic language materials with contextual teaching and learning approach gets a very effective category.

Abstract

Speaking skill is considered the most difficult to learn. On the other hand, speaking subject is considered a failure in providing competence to students. This can be proven by the lack of student's ability to speak Arabic and the value of learning outcomes. This study aimed to develop cybernetic-based kalam materials that can be used by students at the junior high school level as innovations in the use of teaching materials and learning theory. This research used the R&D method by adapting the six steps of Borg and Gall model development. Meanwhile, a small group trial was conducted on 24 students of an Islamic junior high school in Ogan Ilir, using by purposive random sampling technique. This research resulted in kalam material products using the Canva application. The validation of material experts is 84% and media experts get 90.76% so it can be concluded that the product developed is suitable for use with the revisions suggested by validators.  Based on the comparison of pretest results showed an average of 48.33 and the post-test results were 78.33. Then continued with the nonparametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test. This test was chosen because the data is not distributed normally. Asimp Wilcoxon. Sage. (2-tailed) equals 0.000. Since the value of 0.000 is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the "hypothesis is acceptable". The results of the effectiveness test showed the development of Cybernetic-based speaking materials in improving knowledge and skills in speaking languages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar keterampilan membaca (maharah qiroah) berbasis fabel untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter di MTsN 1 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan melalui enam tahap: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain, validasi, revisi, dan uji coba. Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan buku pelajaran bahasa Arab yang ada kurang menarik, didominasi teks tanpa ilustrasi, serta belum mendukung pengembangan karakter atau motivasi membaca. Kuesioner siswa mengungkapkan 85,3% menganggap pelajaran qiroah membosankan, 77,3% kesulitan memahami teks, dan 93,3% ingin materi yang lebih menarik. Buku ajar yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan cerita fabel dengan nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, kerja sama, dan tanggung jawab, serta dilengkapi fitur interaktif dan ilustrasi. Validasi oleh ahli materi dan media serta revisi memastikan buku ini efektif dan mudah digunakan. Uji coba di kelas VII menunjukkan peningkatan minat, pemahaman membaca, dan pembentukan karakter positif. Buku ini terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab dan pendidikan karakter siswa MTsN 1 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop Nahwu teaching materials on the topic of idhafah for tenth-grade students using a contrastive linguistic approach and Macromedia Flash. The materials were derived from the original curriculumbased Arabic textbook used at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. Employing the ADDIE model, the research proceeded through the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. Pietro's four-step contrastive analysis method was used to highlight structural differences between Arabic and Indonesian noun phrases. Instruments included expert validation sheets, student feedback questionnaires, and observation notes. Results showed that the developed materials were declared valid by subject matter experts and considered feasible for classroom use. The interactive elements embedded in Macromedia Flash contributed to increased student engagement and comprehension. The findings affirm the potential of integrating contrastive linguistic analysis and interactive media in Arabic grammar instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) for muhawarah hadithah of grade VII junior high school students. The approach used is The scientific approach consists of five key steps: observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating findings. In the context of research, the method used is Research and Development (R&D), structured within the 4D model, which includes the stages of: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study indicate that the LKPD developed has good validity based on the assessment of material experts (84%) and media experts (87%) with a very valid category. Meanwhile, in terms of the effectiveness of the LKPD muhawarah hadithah of grade VII junior high school students, it is 71%. From the results of the effectiveness test, it can be concluded that the development of the LKPD is based on the muhawarah hadithah textbook is very effective to use. SThe significance between learning outcomes using teaching materials developed in the pre-test and post-test normality test with a sig. value of 0.000, homogeneity testAsymp.Sig. (2-Tailed) in the pre-test was 0.935, paired sample test Sig. (2-Tailed) of 0.001, and the n-gain score test withthe average obtained was 0.4901.

Abstract

ملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تطوير وتطبيق مواد تعليمية للقراءة (القراءة) قائمة على أسلوب التعليم والتعلم السياقي (CTL) في تعليم اللغة العربية في المرحلة الابتدائية (المدرسة الابتدائية الإسلامية - MI). وتعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج البحث المختلط، الذي يجمع بين البيانات الكمية والنوعية. وقد تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، والمقابلات، والاستبيانات، واختبارات القراءة.اتبعت الدراسة نموذج البحث والتطوير لبورج وجال (Borg & Gall)، الذي يتضمن عدة مراحل: جمع المعلومات، والتخطيط، وتطوير المنتج الأولي، والاختبار الميداني الأولي، وتنقيح المنتج، والاختبار الميداني الرئيسي، والتنقيح النهائي.وأظهرت النتائج أن استخدام المواد التعليمية للقراءة القائمة على أسلوب التعليم والتعلم السياقي (CTL) ساهم بشكل ملحوظ في تحسين مهارات القراءة لدى الطلاب. حيث كان متوسط درجات الاختبار القبلي 55، بينما ارتفع متوسط درجات الاختبار البعدي إلى 80، مما يشير إلى تحسن واضح في فهم النصوص المقروءة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أظهر الطلاب دافعية ومشاركة أكبر في عملية التعلم.وتسهم هذه النتائج في تطوير أساليب تعليم اللغة العربية بطريقة أكثر فاعلية وسياقية في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي. Abstrack: This study aims to develop and implement Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)-based qiroah teaching materials in Arabic learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). The research method used is a mix-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and reading tests. The study followed the Borg & Gall research and development model, consisting of several stages: information gathering, planning, initial product development, preliminary field testing, product revision, main field testing, and final revision. The results showed that using CTL-based qiroah teaching materials significantly improved students' reading skills. The pre-test average score was 55, while the post-test score increased to 80, indicating a notable enhancement in reading comprehension. Additionally, students demonstrated higher motivation and engagement in learning. These findings contribute to the development of more effective and contextual Arabic teaching methods in primary education. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan mix-method, yang menggabungkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes membaca. Penelitian ini mengikuti model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall, yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan: pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi produk, uji coba lapangan utama, dan revisi akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar qiroah berbasis CTL secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 55, sedangkan nilai post-test meningkat menjadi 80, yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman membaca. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan motivasi dan keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan metode pengajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih efektif dan kontekstual dalam pendidikan dasar.
