Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran maharah kalam melalui video interaktif berbasis kontekstual serta menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam Bahasa Arab. Permasalahan yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap maharah kalam serta terbatasnya variasi media pembelajaran yang tersedia di SMP Islam Az Zahrah 1 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan enam tahap utama, yaitu identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, perancangan produk, validasi, revisi, serta uji coba produk. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik membutuhkan media yang lebih menarik dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dalam Bahasa Arab. Validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 90% dengan kategori "sangat baik", sementara validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 86,6% dengan kategori "baik". Untuk mengukur efektivitas media yang dikembangkan, dilakukan uji coba pada dua kelompok siswa, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan video interaktif dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakannya. Hasil perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test dari 30 siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan skor pre-test sebesar 60,1% dan skor post-test meningkat menjadi 88,1%. Selain itu, tanggapan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran ini mencapai 78%, yang menunjukkan bahwa produk ini valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video interaktif berbasis kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam Bahasa Arab serta dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah menengah. Abstract

This study explores the formation of children’s character in Islam through a thematic analysis of Surah Luqman verses 13–16. The background of this research is rooted in the increasing moral degradation among Indonesian children, which is manifested in various alarming behaviors such as violence, juvenile delinquency, immorality, bullying, and conflicts within educational institutions. These conditions highlight the urgency of integrating spiritual-ethical values into character education in a more systematic, sustainable, and transformative manner. The aim of this research is to formulate a comprehensive conceptual understanding of Quranic-based character formation and to examine its pedagogical implications for contemporary Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative library research method using content analysis of primary sources—including the Qur’an, classical and modern tafsir, and relevant hadith—as well as secondary sources such as academic books, peer-reviewed journals, and prior empirical studies. The findings reveal that Luqman’s counsels to his son present a multi-dimensional framework of character formation comprising: (1) tawhid education as the core spiritual foundation that warns against polytheism and its ethical consequences; (2) filial piety (birr al-wālidayn) which promotes moral responsibility toward parents while upholding theological principles; and (3) spiritual consciousness of divine surveillance, emphasizing that every human action—no matter how small—is accountable before God. The study concludes that effective implementation of Islamic character education requires a holistic approach that integrates spiritual, cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions through exemplary conduct, consistent habituation, and constructive communication. Furthermore, the collaboration among family, educational institutions, and the broader community serves as a decisive factor in nurturing a morally upright and resilient young generation. This research contributes a systematic conceptual model for strengthening character education based on Islamic values in addressing contemporary moral challenges.

Abstract

The concept of mental health in adolescents is crucial to understand, particularly from an Islamic perspective. Adolescents are vulnerable to identity crises; therefore, Islamic views on mental health can serve as a foundation for shaping their thoughts and behavior. This study aims to raise awareness among adolescents regarding how to maintain mental well-being and understand the developmental changes they experience, by exploring patterns of Islamic education grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. This research employs a library research approach, with data collected from journals, books, newspapers, online sources, and other relevant references. The findings indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, mentally healthy adolescents are those who are able to practice worship in accordance with Islamic teachings, face various life challenges, adapt to new situations, build positive relationships with their surroundings, and strengthen their relationship with God.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ethical values ​​of seeking knowledge in QS. Thaha verse 114 and their relevance to strengthening modern pedagogy. This study uses a qualitative method with a library study type, which examines primary sources such as the Qur'an and tafsir books, as well as secondary literature related to Islamic education and contemporary pedagogical theory. The results of the study indicate that QS. Thaha verse 114 contains key values ​​that are highly relevant to today's education, namely the prohibition of haste in understanding knowledge, emphasizing the importance of patience, thoroughness, and a gradual process, the prayer "rabbi zidni ilma" reflects the principles of lifelong learning and intellectual humility. These values ​​have implications for the formation of teachers with integrity, reflection, and continuously developing their competence, as well as students who have a learning awareness, intrinsic motivation, and a polite scientific character. Thus, QS. Thaha verse 114 provides an important conceptual contribution to the development of more in-depth modern educational practices, and is rooted in Qur'anic values

Abstract

This study examines dawah strategies through education based on Surah An-Nahl (16:125), which emphasizes three main methods: wisdom (hikmah), good advice (mau‘izhah hasanah), and dialogue in the best manner (mujadalah billati hiya ahsan). A qualitative approach with a literature study method was employed, with primary data sourced from the Qur'an and its interpretations, and secondary data from recent academic literature from 2021 to 2025. The research population includes dawah and Islamic education literature, with a purposive sample considering the challenges of modern digitalization. Content analysis techniques were applied to interpret meanings in the context of education. The results indicate that Qur'anic dawah methods are highly relevant and aligned with effective Islamic education practices, emphasizing wisdom in teaching, moral exemplification, and critical dialogue. The study concludes that integrating these values into education can support the continuity of dawah in the modern era.

Abstract

: The rapid advancement of technology has significantly influenced parenting styles and the behavior or morality (akhlak) of children, especially among Generation Alpha—those born between 2010 and 2025 who grow up in an era where information is instantly accessible. This development presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly the threat of moral degradation caused by exposure to negative content. Islam, as a religion that promotes peace, emphasizes that the family serves as the first school for children, with parents as their primary educators. Surah At-Tahrim verse 6 explains that believers have the responsibility to protect themselves and their families from the torment of Hellfire. When connected to Islamic family education, this implies that parental responsibility and supervision encompass not only worldly matters but also spiritual (ukhrawi) dimensions. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. The findings indicate that the spiritual responsibility of parents as role models remains relevant in the digital era, serving as digital mentors who can apply Qur’anic values as foundational principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the historical development of the philosophy of sciencefrom the classical, medieval, modern, to contemporary periods, as well as toexamine the contribution of each period in shaping contemporary scientificparadigms. This study is based on the understanding that the philosophy of sciencecannot be separated from the dynamics of human intellectual history and the social,cultural, and intellectual contexts surrounding it. The research employs a libraryresearch method with a historical-philosophical approach through comparativeanalysis of the thoughts of philosophers and key works in the philosophy of scienceacross different historical periods. Data are obtained from relevant academicliterature, including books and scholarly journal articles. The findings indicate thatduring the classical period, the philosophy of science emphasized the search for theessence of knowledge through rationality and logic as the foundation of scientificinquiry. The medieval period was characterized by a synthesis of Greek philosophyand theological traditions in both Islamic and Christian thought, resulting in anunderstanding of knowledge as a unity of reason and revelation. The modern periodmarked a significant shift toward rationalism, empiricism, and the development ofscientific methods based on observation and experimentation, leading to theseparation of philosophy from science. Meanwhile, the contemporary period ischaracterized by criticism of positivism, the emergence of methodological pluralism,and critical reflections on ethical, social, and cultural dimensions of scientificpractice. This study concludes that the development of the philosophy of science isdynamic and contextual, making historical understanding essential for building acritical and reflective scientific framework.

Abstract

The background of this research is the condition in the field that there is still a lack of digital teaching materials for Arabic language learning. So far, teachers only use textbooks that are still monotonous in their implementation, not dynamic enough to see the development of technology which is currently very rapid. The objectives in this study are (1) to determine the development of digital-based Arabic teaching materials with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, (2) to determine the effectiveness of using digital-based Arabic teaching materials with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This research method is mixed method with Research and Development (R&D) design using Borg and Gall model. The results of this study showed a difference, the average pretest score was 38.9 and the average posttest score was 86.4. From the results of the pretest and posttest, the results of the normality test were pretest 0.088>0.05 and posttest 0.151>0.05, so the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed. Then the results of the homogeneity test show the sig value> 0.05, namely 0.571> 0.05, so the data variance is homogeneous data. From the paired t test it is known that the sig value. (2-tailed) < than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a real difference and influence between learning outcomes on pretest and posttest data. N-Gain Score test results are >78.6108 then the product development of digital-based Arabic language materials with contextual teaching and learning approach gets a very effective category.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mempelajari cita-cita pendidikan yang ditemukan dalam ayat 13-19 dari QS. Luqman dan menyelidiki bagaimana administrasi pendidikan Islam memasukkan nilai-nilai ini ke dalam pengembangan karakter anak-anak. Maksudnya adalah untuk membentuk kepribadian anak muda menjadi generasi yang kompetitif, murni secara etika, dan taat beragama. Nasehat Luqman Al-Hakim terkandung dalam QS. Luqman yang menyoroti pentingnya tauhid, ibadah, moral, dan konvensi sosial yang relevan dengan tuntutan pendidikan modern. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan menggunakan strategi penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu mengumpulkan dan menganalisis sumber-sumber dari buku, jurnal, dan tafsir Al-Qur’an. Analisis isi adalah metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menentukan gagasan pembentukan karakter dari ayat-ayat dan para ahli tafsir. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pendidikan Islam, melalui perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan, merupakan media efektif mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Qur’ani. Singkatnya, pendidikan Islam yang matang sangatlah penting dalam membentuk kepribadian anak yang sesuai dengan ajaran Al-Qur’an, khususnya QS. Luqman ayat 13-19. Hal tersebut akan berkontribusi pada terciptanya generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas tetapi juga tangguh, berkarakter kuat, dan religius.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan toleransi dalam perspektif Q.S. Al-Kāfirūn [109]: 1–6 serta relevansinya terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik di era modern. Surah Al-Kāfirūn menegaskan pentingnya keteguhan akidah dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan agama. Melalui pesan “lakum dīnukum wa liya dīn,” Islam mengajarkan toleransi yang tidak berarti mencampuradukkan keyakinan, melainkan menghargai hak setiap individu dalam beribadah dan berkeyakinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui kajian tafsir dan literatur pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan toleransi dapat diterapkan melalui keteladanan keluarga, pembelajaran di sekolah, dan pembiasaan sosial di masyarakat. Nilai-nilai utama yang diambil dari surah ini meliputi keteguhan akidah, penghormatan terhadap perbedaan, serta penanaman karakter damai dan anti kekerasan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan toleransi dalam Islam merupakan bagian integral dari pembentukan kepribadian yang moderat dan berakhlak mulia
