Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir keratif, dan ketidaktersediaan instrumen asesmen untuk mengukur kreativitas IPA kelas IV SD melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Tujuannya adalah menghsilkan instrumen kreativitas yang valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembalajaran. Instrumen disusun melalui tahapan pendefinisian, desain, dan pengembangan, dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner validasi untuk pengumpulan data. Data dari hasil validasi kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif dengan membandingkan dengan tabel kriteria kevalidan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasilnya, instrumen asesmen kreativitas telah dirancang sebagai tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan soal uraian. Penilaian terhadap aspek materi, konstruksi, dan Bahasa menunjukkan rerata skor masing-masing 4,53; 4,61; dan 4,66, kategori yang menunjukkan kevalidan yang sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen dapat digunakan dalam konteks pembelajaran untuk mengukur kreativitas siswa secara efektif. Peningkatan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kreativitas untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD yang sebelumnya masih kurang merupakan dampak dari penelitian ini. Disarankan untuk pengembangan selanjutnya instrument asesmen kreativitas bukan hanya berupa soal tes tetapi juga dilengkapi dengan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang bukan hanya dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif, namun juga dapat mengukur proses dan produk kreatifnya.

Abstract

Pendidikan mempunyai peran penting dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing tinggi. Dalam pendidikan peserta didik harus mempunyai beberapa kemampuan, salah satunya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran  dengan model yang mendukung karena model pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik dalam belajar. Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah atau Problem Based-Learning (PBL) dapat digunakan guru untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan Kemampuan peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penerapan model PBL, mendeskripsikan Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah diterapkan model PBL, dan mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik terhadap model PBL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi experimental design non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan angket respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAS Ihyaul Ulum Cangaan kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran model PBL mendapat nilai 87,96% yang berkategori sangat baik, Kemampuan berpikir kritis mengalami peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen yaitu dengan rata-rata 0,5149 berkategori N-Gain sedang, dan respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan model PBL yaitu berkategori baik dengan nilai yang didapat adalah 83%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi energi dan usaha, serta menganalisis respon peserta didik terhadap model tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental pre-test post-test control group. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Bluluk yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan angket respon. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran PBL mencapai rata-rata 93,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. (2) Analisis uji-t berpasangan, N-Gain, dan effect size menunjukkan model PBL lebih efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. (3) Respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan PBL sangat positif dengan persentase rata-rata di atas 85% untuk semua aspek yang dinilai. Jadi, model PBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan mendapat respon sangat baik dari peserta didik pada pembelajaran materi energi dan usaha.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model which is integrated with scientific literacy to improve critical thinking skills. This type of quasi-experimental research used random sampling techniques. The research subjects were class X students at Wahid Hasyim Karanggeneng High School using two classes, namely class X.E3 as the experimental class and X.E4 as the control class. The research instrument consists of an implementation sheet, test sheet and response questionnaire. The research results show that the Problem Based Learning model which is integrated with scientific literacy is implemented very well with an average percentage of 98.8%. The increase in critical thinking skills as measured by N-Gain obtained an average of 0.71, which means that the experimental class was in the high category, and a positive response was obtained from students with an average percentage of 92.2%, this shows that there is an influence Problem Based Learning model integrated with scientific literacy to improve critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by stilt games on mechanical energy material. The research design uses a Non-equivalent Control Group Design which is classified as a quasi-experimental group. The subjects in this research were students from SMA Negeri 1 Kalitidu class X-3 as the control class and students from class X-4 as the experimental class. The research instrument consists of an implementation observation sheet, a critical thinking skills test sheet, and a student response sheet. The results of this study state that the implementation of the PBL model assisted by stilts has been implemented in the very good category. Critical thinking skills as measured by prerequisite tests, N-Gain, paired t-test and effect size calculations from the experimental class are in the high category. The average response of students in the experimental class was a positive response in the very good category. Significant results related to students' critical thinking skills before and after implementing the PBL model assisted by stilt games on mechanical energy material with an assessment of the implementation and responses of students which were included in the very good category meant that this learning could be continued and developed in physics learning and other learning. Abstract

This research aims to produce valid and effective Student Activity Sheets (LKM) and Creativity Tests (TKI) to increase the creativity of PGSD students. LKM and TKI are said to be valid if the content validity and construct validity scores reach a minimum score of 2.50 in the valid category and are said to be effective if there is an increase in students' scientific creativity which is statistically significant at α = 5%, the average N-gain is at least in the medium category. The design of this research is Educational Design Research. The research trial design used Pre-Experiment with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were undergraduate students of PGSD UPBJJ Surabaya for the 2024/2025 academic year. The instruments used to collect data in this research include the LKM and TKI Validity Assessment Sheet, as well as the TKI test sheet. The research data in the form of pre-test scores and post-test scores that have been collected are tested for prerequisites: normality test and homogeneity test which are then analyzed using a paired t-test to determine whether there are differences in pre-test scores and post-test scores for students' scientific creativity. The average level of increase in pre-test scores and post-test scores is calculated using N-gain. The validity of learning tools is analyzed to determine their validity and reliability. The same analysis was carried out on the Research Instrument scores. The results of the research show that LKM and TKI are valid and reliable so they are ready to use and are effective for measuring student creativity. Keywords: LKM, TKI, Creativity

Abstract

Climate change education holds great potential but often fails to raise sufficient awareness of climate-related disasters. Students need localized, STEM-based learning to build adaptation strategies and eco-friendly lifestyles. This article focuses on improving students' understanding of physics concepts, problem-solving, and critical and creative thinking, aligning with the SDGs and Merdeka Curriculum goals. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, training activities involved observation, reflection, planning, action, and evaluation stages. Needs analysis discussions with teachers from Nganjuk Regency's MGMP informed the program. Training included STEM-based project learning focused on climate change and engaging physics and science teachers. Questionnaire analysis showed high enthusiasm for the program, as it integrated STEM with real-world climate issues, making learning relevant and motivating. This innovative approach fostered critical thinking and problem-solving while enhancing awareness and responsibility toward climate challenges. By connecting education to sustainability, the program encouraged students to develop eco-friendly solutions and actively participate in addressing global issues, preparing them to become agents of change.

Abstract

Objective: The research aims to analyze the effectiveness of physics learning by applying technology or digital teaching materials significantly to improve students' critical thinking abilities. Knowledge regarding the need to use digital technology in educational institutions today can be used to implement innovative learning plans in the future. Method: The research was carried out using quantitative descriptive methods based on the data that had been obtained. Statistical tests in research involve the analysis of student response questionnaire results and literature reviews. Analysis of case study questionnaire responses on using technology in learning and the media needs of 92 students were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Results:  Based on the case study analysis obtained using EFA analysis, the need for learning using digital technology is very high. The response of students' motivation and interest in future learning received the maximum response that students need interactive learning with the help of engaging digital media, one of which is virtual simulation, which is relevant in improving critical thinking skills. Novelty: Application of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to analyze students' needs for digital media to improve critical thinking skills in physics learning. With support, the literature review shows a relevant relationship between the needs and challenges of developing technology in current digital learning media in providing an impact on alternative aspects of cost, time, space, and security to improve critical thinking skills. This research can be used to plan innovative learning in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate research trends on Inquiry STEM topic in the context of physics education and conduct a bibliometric analysis to understand the development of research in this domain. Data were collected from the Scopus database using keywords relevant to Inquiry STEM and physics. The approach used in the analysis was the bibliometric method by utilising the Scopus database and VOSviewer, which resulted in 62 relevant documents. The results showed that the use of Inquiry STEM in physics education has become an increasingly popular topic over the past ten years, despite fluctuations in publication rates. This indicates potential challenges that need to be further explored in the future. Further research of Inquiry STEM in physics education could be helpful in improving students' critical thinking skills and motivation, given the evidence that this instructional model has demonstrated effectiveness in improving students' problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and motivation. However, it's worth noting that this research has limitations due to its sole reliance on one database, namely Scopus, for data collection. Therefore, it is advisable for future research on Inquiry STEM in physics education to incorporate the utilization of other databases besides Scopus to ensure a broader range of data is considered.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor physics in class X SMA Negeri 1 Magetan by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. This study used the classroom action research (PTK) method which was carried out in collaboration between researchers, tutor teachers, and field assistant lecturers. Research procedures carried out in 2 cycles each in 4 stages, namely: Planning (Planning), Action (Action), Observation (Observation), and Reflection (Reflection). The results of this study are that the use of the PjBL learning model on the subject matter of work and energy can improve the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor physics for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Magetan. Cycle I had an average pretest score of 65.2 and an average posttest of 86.3, increasing in cycle II the highest posttest score achieved, namely an average pretest of 67.3 and an average posttest of 88.5. While the difference between the posttest and pretest average scores in cycle I was 21.1 points and cycle II was 21.2 points. This shows that there is an increase in physics learning outcomes from the three cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of students from cycle I to cycle II.
