Abstract

Pendidikan matematika di Indonesia perlu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai untuk mencapai tujuan nasional, namun pemahaman guru masih terbatas. Program PkM ini melatih guru Kombel Matematika SMA Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir dalam menyusun modul ajar berorientasi nilai dan menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan yang guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai dalam pembelajaran matematika. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan secara sistematis melalui berbagai tahapan, diantaranya 1) analisis kebutuhan, 2) persiapan, 3) sosialisasi, 4) pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi, 4) pendampingan, 5) evaluasi, 6) tindak lanjut. Peserta kegiatan PkM ini adalah guru kombel matematika SMA kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket dan dokumen modul ajara berbasis nilai yang telah disusun oleh mitra, pelatihan yang telah diberikan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru Kombel Matematika SMA Kabupaten OKI dalam menerapkan nilai (value) dan menyusun modul ajar berorientasi nilai. Selain itu, guru mampu menggunakan wizer.me untuk pembelajaran interaktif. Program ini telah memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkaya pengetahuan dan memperkuat keterampilan dalam menyusun modul ajar berorientasi nilai.

Abstract

This research uses collaborative classroom action research (PTK) with the Kemmis and McTanggart model Through this research, the aim is to determine the effect of implementing the problem-based learning in the subjects of Civic Education for material on the history of the birth of Pancasila as the basis of the State on the learning outcomes of class VII 4 students at SMP Negeri 33 Palembang. Furthermore, data analysis in this research uses quantitative analysis based on data assessing student learning outcomes in class VII.4 of SMP Negeri 33 Palembang. Based on the results of research conducted in class VII.4 by applying a problem-based learning model shows an increase in student learning outcomes in class VII.4, namely 90% with a very good predicate with the percentage of students who received grades according to the passing grade in cycle 1, namely 70%. Then continued in cycle 2, the increase in learning outcomes for class VII.4 students reached 90% and the presentation of students who reached the passing grade was 96%.

Abstract

The development of globalization and digital transformation requires higher education institutions in Indonesia not only to produce academically excellent graduates but also to foster self-awareness, social skills, and sensitivity to cultural diversity. One of the strategic policies implemented is the Indonesian Student Exchange Program (Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka or PMM), which aims to broaden students’ academic and social experiences through cross-campus lectures, the Modul Nusantara, and intercultural interactions. This study focuses on analyzing the influence of PMM on improving the self-awareness of FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya students, considering that future educators are expected to possess both academic competence and emotional maturity. The research employed a mixed-method approach with a concurrent embedded strategy. Quantitative data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 91 respondents, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with three informants and documentation analysis. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability, with Cronbach’s Alpha reaching 0.938, indicating very high reliability. Simple regression analysis yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that PMM significantly affects the improvement of students’ self-awareness. Qualitative findings revealed personal transformation, strengthened national identity, and increased self-confidence among students. In conclusion, PMM is proven effective in enhancing students’ self-awareness through the combination of academic engagement, Modul Nusantara, and intercultural experiences, making this program a valuable instrument for shaping the character of Indonesia’s young generation. ABSTRAKPerkembangan globalisasi dan transformasi digital menuntut perguruan tinggi di Indonesia untuk tidak hanya mencetak lulusan yang unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran diri (self-awareness), keterampilan sosial, serta kepekaan terhadap keberagaman budaya. Salah satu kebijakan strategis yang dijalankan adalah Program Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) yang bertujuan memperluas pengalaman akademik dan sosial mahasiswa melalui kegiatan perkuliahan lintas kampus, Modul Nusantara, serta interaksi lintas budaya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis pengaruh PMM terhadap peningkatan self-awareness mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya, mengingat calon pendidik dituntut memiliki kompetensi akademik sekaligus kedewasaan emosional. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mix methods) dengan strategi concurrent embedded. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari kuesioner Likert yang disebarkan kepada 91 responden, sedangkan data kualitatif digali melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tiga informan dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan hasil Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,938 yang menunjukkan reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Analisis regresi sederhana menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti PMM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan self-awareness mahasiswa. Secara kualitatif, mahasiswa melaporkan adanya transformasi pribadi, penguatan identitas kebangsaan, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri. Kesimpulannya, PMM terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan kesadaran diri mahasiswa melalui kombinasi keterlibatan akademik, Modul Nusantara, dan interaksi lintas budaya, sehingga program ini layak diperkuat sebagai instrumen pembentukan karakter generasi muda Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the philosophy of science in curriculum development through a literature review approach. Philosophy of science, serving as an epistemological, ontological, and axiological foundation, plays a strategic role in determining the direction, substance, and methodology of curricula that respond to scientific and educational advancements. This review synthesizes recent literature that discusses the connection between the philosophy of science and curriculum design across various educational levels. The results indicate that the ontological dimension supports the formulation of curriculum content, the epistemological dimension strengthens the selection of instructional approaches, and the axiological dimension ensures that curriculum development aligns with values, ethics, and learner benefit. The findings also show that integrating the philosophy of science supports the creation of curricula that are more adaptive, critical, and contextually relevant to global changes. Additionally, this review identifies a research gap regarding the limited explicit integration of the philosophy of science in national curriculum frameworks. Overall, the study underscores the urgency of reinforcing philosophical perspectives in curriculum development to enhance the comprehensive quality of education.

Abstract

Training on the use of Artificial Intelligence-based learning media was held as part of teacher empowerment activities in developing such media. This community service activity was held by the Civic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The Community Service Team trained teachers at SMPN 1 Indralaya Selatan, Meranjat Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning media. This training and mentoring aimed to improve teachers' capabilities so they could create innovative and effective learning. The methods applied included counseling, training, and mentoring in direct practice using Artificial Intelligence-based media from Wayground AI, Canva AI, Avatar AI, Renderforest AI, LMS AI, and ChatGPT AI, as well as assessments through pretests and posttests to measure the increase in participants' understanding. The results showed a significant increase in understanding of creating Artificial Intelligence-based learning media, with the average post-test score of participants increasing from 37.7 to 80.03 from a total of 30 participants. The evaluation results showed high satisfaction from participants with the material provided and its relevance to needs in the field. The participants' response was very positive, as evidenced by their active discussions, willingness to experiment with the media, and commitment to creating learning products. The program is planned to continue with follow-up publications in newspapers, YouTube, and journals, as well as evaluation meetings and activity reports. It is hoped that this program will continue to empower teachers to improve and develop AI-based learning media in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of philosophy of science as a foundation in the development of educational research through a literature review approach. Departing from the need to strengthen the epistemological, ontological, and axiological foundations in educational research, this study highlights the problem of weak conceptual frameworks in many studies that impact the quality of scientific findings. The analysis was conducted by examining various relevant literature, including Popper's theory of falsificationism, Kuhn's views on scientific paradigms, and Habermas's ideas on the importance of knowledge. The method used was a systematic literature review with source searches through indexed national and international journals. The results of the study indicate a gap between educational research practices and epistemological standards of philosophy of science, particularly regarding paradigm clarity, methodological validity, and theoretical justification. This study offers a model for strengthening educational research based on philosophy of science that places critical, reflective, and transformative rationality as its main pillars. These findings emphasize that the integration of philosophy of science not only improves research quality but also expands academic contributions and educational practice. Thus, this study makes a theoretical contribution to the development of the state of the art in methodological studies while offering a novel integrated conceptual framework for educational research in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikasi filsafat ilmu terhadap pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis penemuan (discovery learning) dan pemecahan masalah melalui pendekatan literature review. Kajian ini berangkat dari kebutuhan untuk memperkuat landasan epistemologis, ontologis, dan aksiologis dalam praktik pembelajaran yang menuntut kemampuan berpikir kritis dan eksploratif peserta didik. Dengan menelaah berbagai teori seperti rasionalisme Descartes, empirisme John Locke, konstruktivisme Piaget, dan falsifikasionisme Karl Popper, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi persoalan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran penemuan sering kali belum terarah secara filosofis dan metodologis. Analisis literatur menunjukkan adanya gap antara tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21 dengan kerangka filosofis yang diterapkan dalam praktik pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa filsafat ilmu dapat memberikan kerangka pemikiran yang kuat untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses inkuiri, pengujian hipotesis, dan refleksi dalam pembelajaran penemuan dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan novelty berupa model konseptual integratif yang menghubungkan prinsip-prinsip filsafat ilmu dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berbasis penemuan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menawarkan state of the art dengan memetakan hubungan sistematis antara teori epistemologi dan desain pembelajaran modern berbasis inquiry. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi filsafat ilmu dalam pendidikan sebagai dasar untuk membangun pembelajaran yang lebih rasional, reflektif, dan berorientasi pada pembentukan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran filsafat ilmu sebagai landasan pengembangan ilmu pendidikan di era digital yang ditandai oleh perubahan cepat dalam akses, penyampaian, dan validitas pengetahuan. Transformasi digital telah membawa kemudahan dalam pembelajaran, namun temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pendidikan masih menghadapi kelemahan mendasar dalam memahami aspek ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi pengetahuan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menggali perspektif pendidik, ahli filsafat, dan praktisi teknologi untuk memahami bagaimana prinsip keilmuan diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan digital. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya didukung pemahaman filosofis yang memadai sehingga berdampak pada lemahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis, literasi digital, dan kedalaman makna pembelajaran. Kurikulum dan pelatihan guru juga ditemukan masih berorientasi pada aspek teknis dan belum mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai filosofis secara komprehensif. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa filsafat ilmu memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan arah, makna, dan kualitas pendidikan di tengah arus digitalisasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa reformasi pendidikan digital perlu diarahkan pada penguatan prinsip keilmuan agar teknologi tidak hanya menjadi alat, tetapi juga sarana pembentukan pemahaman yang reflektif dan kritis. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran, dan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis landasan filosofis di era digital.
