This type of research is qualitative research with library research method and figure study approach. The primary data source in this study is the book Ahdaf at-Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah Dirasah Muqaranah baina Ahdaf at-Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah wa al-Ahdaf at-Tarbawiyah al-Mu'asharah by Majid Irsan Al-Kailani and supported by Al-Kailani's works as well as books, journals, and scientific works related to the discussion in the study as secondary sources. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of the study show that Majid Irsan Al-Kailani's thoughts on the goals and methods of Islamic education are very relevant to the present day. He formulated four main goals of education: the formation of good individuals (al-fard al-shalih), the Islamic family (al-usrah al-muslimah), the community of messengers (ummah al-risalah), and human brotherhood (al-ukhuwah al-insaniyah). All of these points culminate in the effort to produce complete human beings (al-insan al-kamil al-raqi) capable of realizing the vision of Islamic education by fostering a strong spiritual relationship between students and Allah SWT.

Abstract

Kata kunci: analisis fenomenologi interpretatif (IPA), dosen, kecerdasan buatan, pendidikan tinggi Abstract The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing learning practices in higher education, both in pedagogical effectiveness and in the dynamics of academic interaction. This study analyzes how lecturers in Indonesia and Malaysia interpret and practice the use of AI while identifying factors that form similarities and differences. A qualitative approach with a comparative case study design was used, involving 30 lecturers through narrative surveys and semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) and thematic analysis. The results show that AI is considered a tool that improves the efficiency of academic work and supports the development of learning materials. However, there are concerns about student dependency, decreased critical thinking skills, and the accuracy of AI output. Differences between countries can be seen in the depth of integration: Malaysian lecturers tend to use AI more intensively in learning activities, while Indonesian lecturers are more cautious and emphasize manual verification. Institutional policy factors, digital literacy, and academic culture also influence these variations. The findings emphasize the value of developing clear AI policies and strengthening ethical literacy for faculty and students. Abstract

This research is motivated by students who take part in calligraphy extracurricular activities at MAS PTPN VI Berangir, where calligraphy, as an art form with Qur'anic values, has been made an extracurricular activity. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of calligraphy extracurricular activities on students in practising Qur'anic values, known as the concept of Living Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The research location was at MAS PTPN VI Berangir, North Labuhanbatu Regency, with data sources obtained from interviews with calligraphy extracurricular teaching teachers, as well as observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the process of implementing Living Qur'an was divided into two, namely the learning process and the understanding process. The impact of Living Qur'an through this calligraphy extracurricular is that students become more appreciative of the Qur'an and take the time to read the Qur'an after fard prayers, where those who were previously lazy to read it are now diligent. The challenges faced in this Living Qur'an process include an unsupportive social environment as well as students' lack of motivation and laziness.
