Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Employee Engagement and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT Agronusa Alam Perkasa, an oil palm plantation company. Data was obtained through surveys and interviews with company employees. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that Employee Engagement has a positive, although not statistically significant, influence on Employee Performance. In contrast, Work Environment has a significant positive influence on Employee Performance. This indicates that aspects of a conducive work environment, such as good lighting and noise, play an important role in improving employee performance. Therefore, companies need to pay greater attention to improving the Work Environment as a strategy to improve employee performance. The limitation of this study is that it does not consider other factors that may affect employee performance. Future research should include these additional factors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the factors.

Abstract

The shift in Indonesian consumption patterns towards health, food quality, and environmental sustainability has opened market opportunities for green products such as hydroponic vegetables. This research aims to analyze the implementation of green marketing strategies and their influence on sustainable consumer behavior at Karangan Jaya Hydroponics SME, a hydroponic vegetable producer in Palembang. Using a descriptive qualitative case study method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from business owners and consumers. The findings indicate that the SME has applied several core principles of green marketing, particularly in terms of product quality (green product), through pesticide-free hydroponic cultivation with controlled water quality. Promotion is conducted primarily via WhatsApp with an educational approach, which helps build consumer trust (green trust). Consumer behavior shows a sustainable purchasing pattern influenced by perceptions of hygiene, health safety, and product freshness. However, constraints include unstable production, limited digital promotion, and the use of non-eco-friendly plastic packaging. This study concludes that while the SME has successfully built trust and implemented basic green marketing, optimization is required in production management, digital promotion, and eco-friendly packaging to enhance marketing effectiveness and support the transition to a fully sustainable business.

Abstract

This study uses a community-based approach to develop an educational model for digital literacy among MSME women. Employing a qualitative case study method with 15 informants from the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Association Palembang MSME Community, data was obtained through interviews and analyzed thematically. The findings, indicating that most female members have at least a high school education and less than five years of business experience, highlight challenges in digital literacy and marketing skills. These challenges, including difficulties in technology adoption and security concerns, underscore the necessity for initiatives to enhance digital literacy and marketing skills. A community-centric model is proposed, encompassing Digital Literacy Workshops, Mentor-Mentee Programs, Sharing Sessions, Best Practices, and Specific Skills Training, with interview conclusions serving as a basis for model design to elevate Marketing Skills effectively

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) is a strategic approach to managing people effectively in tourism companies, providing a competitive edge. This study aims to reveal research trends from 2020 to 2022 through a bibliometric and content analysis of HRM-related articles in the tourism industry. A total of 1,086 Scopus-indexed articles were analyzed using R Studio with the bibliometric package. Key metrics such as countries, authors, and institutions contributing to HRM research were examined. The findings show that the United States and China were the most productive countries in article output, with Wang and Zhang identified as the most prolific authors and Netreported as the leading institution. Emerging themes and keywords were also identified, indicating significant areas of focus in HRM research. The results highlight that HRM remains a trending topic in the tourism sector, driven by its role in enhancing organizational performance. This study is one of the few to provide a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of HRM in tourism, offering insights into global research productivity and trends over three years. The findings have practical implications for both academia and industry, suggesting that future research should focus on specific HRM practices that can further improve competitiveness in the tourism sector. These insights can guide tourism companies in refining HRM strategies to enhance performance and adaptability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, at Information and Communication Technology Company. The background of the study stems from observed issues such as declining employee performance, high absenteeism, and inequality in facilities and organizational policies. Using a quantitative method with a causal-explanatory design, data were collected from 94 randomly selected employees through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) approach. The results show that both organizational culture and work environment significantly influence job satisfaction, which in turn mediates their effect on employee performance. Additionally, organizational culture and work environment each have a direct positive impact on performance. These findings emphasize the critical psychological role of job satisfaction in linking organizational conditions with productivity outcomes. The implication of this study is that companies, particularly in the ICT sector, can enhance employee performance by developing a strong organizational culture and improving both physical and social aspects of the work environment in a strategic and sustainable manner.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of sustainability marketing has increased the risk of greenwashing, raising urgent concerns about declining consumer trust and the effectiveness of environmental communication. As consumers become more environmentally aware, misleading green claims may not only fail to persuade but also actively undermine pro-environmental purchasing behavior. This study aims to examine how perceived greenwashing influences purchase intention by analyzing the mediating roles of consumer skepticism and brand trust, as well as the moderating role of environmental concern. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional research design, data were collected through an online questionnaire from 340 adult consumers who had been exposed to environmental marketing claims. A purposive sampling technique was applied to ensure respondent relevance, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results demonstrate that perceived greenwashing significantly increases consumer skepticism and reduces brand trust, both of which mediate its negative effect on purchase intention. In addition, environmental concern strengthens these relationships, indicating that environmentally concerned consumers react more strongly to perceived inconsistencies in green claims. This study offers novelty by integrating signaling theory and attribution theory into a consumer-centric dual mediation model that explains why sustainability messaging can backfire when credibility is questioned. The findings provide important implications for marketers and policymakers by highlighting the need for credible, verifiable environmental communication and stronger governance of green marketing practices.
