Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ethno-physics-based inquiry-based learning on students' 21st century thinking skills. This type of research is quantitative research with meta-analysis methods. The data comes from an analysis of 14 national and international journals published in the last 5 years 2019-2024. The data search keyword is inquiry based learning model; Inquiry-based learning based on ethno-physics and students' 21st century thinking skills. Search for data sources through google scholar; ERIC and Mendeley. Data analysis in this study is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value of each study with the Microsoft excel 2020 application building. The results of this study concluded that the ethno-physics-based inquiry-based learning model had a significant effect on students' 21st century thinking skills with an average value of effect size ES = 0.837 (high effect size). These findings provide important information that the implementation of ethno-physics-based inquiry-based learning has a positive impact on students' 21st century thinking skills.

Abstract

Kesehatan gigi merupakan bagian dari kesehatan yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan tubuh lainnya. Menjaga kesehatan gigi sangat penting untuk dilakukan, karena kualitas hidup seseorang akan terganggu akibat dari masalah kesehatan gigi yang tidak ditangani dengan baik. Masalah-masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi pada anak usia sekolah dasar adalah peyakit yang berhubungan dengan kebersihan diri anak dan lingkungan seperti gosok gigi yang baik dan benar (saputra, 2023, at all (Fatmawati 2018). Karies gigi merupakan permasalahan gigi yang sering timbul tidak hanya pada orang dewasa tetapi juga dialami oleh anak-anak. Oranl hygiene yang buruk dapat menjadi salah satu faktor resiko terjadinya karies. Metode kegiatan dengan pelaksanaan adalah penyuluhan dengan menggunakan media  dan pemeriksaan gigi, adapun sasaran sebayak 38 orang anak SD PAB 22 Patumbak Kecamatan Patumbak. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan  data DMF-T ada 77 karies gigi  yaitu sebesar 2,0, berarti kondisi ini termasuk kategori buruk

Abstract

This article focuses on the altruism crisis that has emerged in society during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is proven by violators of health norms' carelessness to the risk of the infection spreading further. Those infected with the COVID-19 virus do so on purpose in public areas, oblivious to the consequences for others. This article also demonstrates that low empathy, social responsibility, and self-control influence the crisis of altruism experienced by health protocol violators, according to a literature review. As a result, we provide a scientific contribution by reminding society of the necessity of altruism in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus through this article.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between marketing strategy and interest in repeat visits of outpatient at the Cardiac Polyclinic at Dr. Rasidin Hospital, Padang City. The research method used is quantitative by design cross sectional study. The sample in this study amounted to 96 respondents. The results showed that 85.4% of patient repeat visits were in the category of interest, 54.2% of the product marketing strategy was in the good category, 56.2% in the place marketing strategy was in the good category, 57.3% in the price marketing strategy was in the good category, 54.2% was the promotion marketing strategy was in the good category. Statistical test results show that there is a significant relationship between place marketing strategy (p=0,011), promotion marketing strategy (p=0,003) and obtained marketing promotion strategy with a value of OR = 9,375.

Abstract

This community partnership service aims to increase community productivity and income by empowering the people's economy and assisting small and medium businesses with stimulant skills in the field of technology and hygienic management of the production of "Abon Beef" brand in the city of Palembang. The stages of implementing this community service program begin with an integrated approach carried out from the initial process of socialization and planning during which the activity lasts effectively for approximately 3 months. In the initial socialization, the team invited workers involved in the process of making fish floss to socialize the activities carried out so that effective and reciprocal communication occurred. The coaching that will be carried out by the service will continue with the management of the processing of shredded tuna "Beef Shredded" to be better by improving product quality and marketing carried out by the owner and also improving the management system. Shredded products will have their own labels and will then be marketed via e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

PKKBM is a stage in preparing new students to go through the transition process to become mature and independent students, as well as a catalyst in the process of adapting students to a new environment and providing provisions for their success in studying at tertiary institutions, especially at STIA Satya Negara Palembang. The purpose of this service is to instill awareness of the nation, state and state defense, as well as concern for the environment and society, introduce learning systems and the life of the academic community by instilling basic educational values, introducing rights and obligations as students, creating a friendly campus ( inclusive), safe, and healthy and shape the character of students who prioritize attitudes as intellectuals who rely on intelligence and maturity. This service uses a participatory approach using the method of conveying knowledge from resource persons, delivering PKKMB material, observations and interviews from various sources during the Entrepreneurship Bazaar, showcasing the talents of new students in vocal, dance, recitation and martial arts. The results of the dedication show that PKKMB participants know business opportunities, are good at communicating, and are confident in promoting their products during the bazaar.

Abstract

Indonesia is a paradise for plants, with numerous advantages for human life. It is possible to process Indonesia's natural resources to support the family economy while also benefiting health and being useful in treating various diseases, and many of these resources contain the vitamins that the body's organs require to increase energy. The health advantages of soursop plants are substantial, and the fruit is tasty to consume as is. Sometimes it grows naturally in people's yards; at other times, it is planted intentionally by the community for economic purposes. Apart from the fruit, soursop leaves can also be used to treat cholestorel when combined with additional spices such as betel leaves and a pinch of salt. Making soursop juice is simple if the fruit is ripe, although soursop fruit that is not ripe yet can be fried and the taste is similar to sweet potatoes. The business potential related with soursop seed planting are considerable. Along with the fruit, the leaves are beneficial for health since they contain a variety of vitamins that the body need.

Abstract

In online learning, the teaching and learning process is facilitated by the use of the internet and digital media to convey the material. Online learning is believed to be more aligned with the current generation of students, who are well-known for their high level of integration with technology products. This is a form of digitization in the field of education that provides a number of advantages. From a practical standpoint, the benefits of online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic era include the ability for teachers and students to interact more effectively because they will not have to physically meet. Additionally, there is no classroom for formal education. The teaching and learning process can occur anyplace as long as the environment is conducive and can aid in concentration. Furthermore, there is no requirement to "dress well" or "look officially" to make it more flexible. A more appropriate approach to online learning is to take a technology strategy that is more appropriate for today's students than traditional classroom approaches. Besides that, the delivery methods employed in online learning programs are typically a blend of formal and informal. The Covid-19 pandemic has created numerous educational opportunities. Online education has separated classroom resources, such as teachers' markers and blackboards, and students' notes and pens. Students will receive more engaging instruction when they are exposed to a variety of media types, including photographs, videos, and audio. This community service is conducted at an elementary school in Jalan pembangunan Pakjo, specifically in Pakjo Elementary School of 126th, in order to facilitate MBKM between universities and elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to find information on the factors that cause homelessness in Western Australia and efforts to overcome these factors by using the interview method. In this study, researchers conducted interviews with 20 homeless people with managers/organizers, instructors, and inmates. This interview aims to obtain research information, namely about the guidance applied, the methods used, the motivating and inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to overcome the obstacles followed by the provision of food on Moore Street which was obtained from the soup kitchen or bakery. The findings in this study, in the life of the homeless, it can be seen that the occurrence of homeless people and beggars can be divided into two causal factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include lazy, unwilling to work, not mentally strong, physical or psychological disabilities. While external factors include social, cultural, economic, educational, environmental, religious and geographical factors.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui terkait rasionalitas para pedagang lansia dalam perspektif tindakan sosial Karl Marx. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah berlandaskan pada teori pemahaman atau Verstehen Theory dimana pendekatan ini menekankan pada tindakan sosial yang ada pada masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara kepada 10 pedagang lansia dimana para informan memiliki karakteristik usai lebih dari 60 tahun yang masih berdagang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, rasionalitas instrumental dimana fenomena pedagang lansia di pasar Kebonagung dapat dikatakan bahwa rasionalitas yang dipilih oleh mereka menekankan pada orientasi nilai dimana didalamnya terdapat prospek yang menjadi tujuan. Prospek tersebut adalah keuntungan finansial yang dapat membantu mereka hidup di masa tua. Kedua, rasionalitas berorientasi nilai dimana pertimbangan dalam melakukan kegiatan perdagangan menekankan pada kesehatan, jarak tempuh rumah dan pasar. Namun, pertimbangan tersebut dapat dikesampingkan karena ada tujuan finansial yang lebih rasional yang dapat membentuk keputusan mereka untuk tepat berjualan di masa tua. Kontribusi keilmuan dalam artikel ini menekankan pada dialog tindakan sosial yang menekankan pada pilihan rasional dengan pertimbangan finansial.
