Abstract

Learning math requires media that can attract students' attention and interest them in the subject. Generally, students love games, making them an effective tool to engage students in the learning process. The use of appropriate media can increase students' success in learning mathematics. This study aims to explore and describe the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes through the use of Congklak Game Media. This study used the Classroom Action Research method and was conducted in an elementary school in Indonesia. The research informants consisted of teachers and twenty-four students. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and test techniques, and analyzed qualitatively using descriptive analysis. The findings of this study showed an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes. This increase can be seen from the cumulative score, where the pre-test score increased from 67% to 92% in the second cycle. This shows that the congklak game media can be an effective tool to improve students' math learning outcomes.

Abstract

Cultivation of cowpea and sweet corn can optimize land use through an intercropping system, however, the planting date on intercropping is rarely evaluated. The research aimed to evaluate land use efficiency in sweet corn intercropping of different planting dates of cowpea. This research was conducted from January to May 2024 in Bocek Village, Malang, East Java. The study used a randomized complete block design with a single factor consisting of 7 levels, i.e., monoculture sweet corn, and sweet corn intercropping with different cowpea planting dates (0, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 35 days after sweet corn planting (DAP). Plant growth, yield, land equivalent ratio (LER), and area time equivalent ratio (ATER) were evaluated. The results showed that the intercropping sweet corn and cowpea planted at 21 DAP produced a higher yield than other planting dates. The highest LER of 1.96 and ATER of 1.93 was achieved in the sweet corn with cowpea planted at 21 DAP, indicating the highest land use efficiency occurred at the planting date of cowpea 21 days after planting sweet corn. Abstract

Intercropping of sweet corn and caisim is an effort to improve land efficiency. The study aimed to determine the land use optimization of intercropping between sweet corn and caisim from different plant densities and planting times. Research was carried out from May to July 2024, in Bocek Village, Malang, East Java. The study used a randomized complete block design with a single factor consisting of 7 treatments, i.e., monoculture sweet corn, and sweet corn + caisim (1 and 2 rows) planted 7 days before, at the same time, and 7 days after planting corn. Results showed that all intercropping treatments resulted in R/C ratio and LER values > 1, with the highest values observed of sweet corn + caisim of 1 row planting at the same time. The R/C ratio was 1.22 and the LER was 1.35, indicating that land use was optimized without causing a decline in growth or production for either crop. Abstract

The issues discussed in this study are: 1) how is the general description of the Ottoman Dynasty. 2) how was the military strategy of Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih in the conquest of Constantinople. 3) how is the life history of Sultan Muhammad AlFatih. The objectives of this research are: 1) to know the general description of Constantinople. 2) to know the life history of Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih. 3) to know the military strategy of Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih in conquering Constantinople. This research is a qualitative historiographic research, with the type of library research. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data obtained from books, journals, and other works. The method used in this research is the historical method which is divided into four stages, namely, heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. Meanwhile, the method used in this research is the theory of military strategy. The results of this study show that: 1) the general description of the Ottoman Dynasty includes, geographical conditions, religious conditions, military conditions, social conditions and political conditions. 2) Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih’s life history starts from his birth and childhood, achievements, death, personality and military policy. 3) Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih’s military strategy used three components of military strategy when conquering Constantinople. The three components of the military strategy: First, the purpose of Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih to conquer Constantinople. Second, the way Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih Conquered Constantinople. And, thirdly, the means by which Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih and his troops conquered Constantinople. Because of his unanimous goal, his unexpected way of attacking the opponent and adequate means to conquer the enemy. Because of the strength of the three components of military strategy owned by Sultan Muhammad AlFatih, then on 29 May 1453 Constantinople could be conquered by Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih.

Abstract

Penggunaan pupuk anorganik secara berlebihan dapat menurunkan kesuburan tanah sehingga berdampak terhadap penurunan produktivitas bawang merah. Oleh karenanya tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui interaksi antara pupuk kandang dan pupuk anorganik pada pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan faktorial dengan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri 2 faktor dan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk kandang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yakni : 0 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, dan 20 t ha-1. Faktor kedua yakni dosis pupuk NPK anorganik yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 100%, dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 80%, dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 60%, dan dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 40%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil panen umbi per hektar perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang 0 t ha-1 dengan dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 100% (19,07 t ha-1) tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang 10 t ha-1 dengan dosis pupuk NPK anorganik 80% (19,32 t ha-1). Sehingga, penggunaan dosis pupuk kandang 10 t ha-1 dapat menurunkan dosis pupuk NPK anorganik sebesar 20%.

Abstract

Despite the growing body of international research highlighting the benefits of nature-based learning for early childhood development, empirical evidence from developing countries, particularly Indonesia, remains limited. Most existing studies focus on cognitive or motor outcomes, leaving a gap in understanding how nature-based learning contributes to environmental awareness as part of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). This study aims to examine the role of nature-based learning in fostering environmental awareness among early childhood learners in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities in early childhood education settings. The findings reveal that nature-based learning significantly enhances children’s engagement, ecological empathy, and responsible environmental behaviors through direct interaction with natural elements. Children demonstrated increased awareness by caring for plants, maintaining cleanliness, and reminding peers to protect the environment. This study contributes theoretically by reinforcing constructivist learning perspectives and empirically by providing context-specific evidence from Indonesia. Practically, the findings offer guidance for educators and policymakers to integrate nature-based learning as an effective strategy to support sustainable education and environmental stewardship from early childhood.

Abstract

This article is about the understanding and the implementation of civil servants’ gender understanding in the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in Bengkalis Regency Government. In addition, it also asks the public response on the implementation of program-based gender conducted by the civil servant. The data obtained through the questionnaires toward 36 respondents and did the interviews to the informants who have been chosen based on various interests. This data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis. The results found that the civil servants’ understanding based on gender in Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Bengkalis Regency Government already understands the gender well, so that the programs carried out always consider welfare based on gender equality. In addition, it contributes to the strengthening public knowledge about welfare based on gender equality.

Abstract

Tingkat kesuburan tanah yang rendah (Bahan organik <2,5%) merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya produktivitas edamame. Kandungan bahan organik <2,5% tergolong sedang (Balai Penelitian Tanah, 2009). Kurangnya kesuburan tanah menandakan perlu adanya input N, P, dan K dalam jumlah yang tinggi. Input N, P, K dalam dosis tinggi lama kelamaan menyebabkan menurunnya tingkat kesuburan tanah. Oleh karena itu pupuk kandang dan pupuk N, P, K harus dikombinasikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kombinasi pupuk kandang dan pupuk N, P, K yang paling tepat untuk memberikan hasil terbaik pada tanaman edamame. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dau, Kabupaten Malang, pada bulan Februari sampai Mei 2024 pada ketinggian ± 583 mdpl dengan suhu rata-rata 17,5–30oC dan kelembaban 40–86%. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rencana Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 ulangan dan 10 kombinasi pupuk kandang dan N, P, K. Perlakuan pupuk kandang 15 ton ha-1 dengan N, P, K 50% menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik pada jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah polong tan-1, jumlah polong isi tan-1, bobot segar polong tan-1, dan bobot segar polong tanaman hektar-1.

Abstract

Negara Indonesia ialah negara yang berkembang pada sektor agraris. Pembangunan pertanian di Indonesia diarahkan pada sasaran utama yaitu peningkatan produksi pangan rakyat yang terus meningkat sejalan dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk. Satu diantara cara untuk meningkatkan produksi ialah dengan meningkatkan kesuburan tanah. Tanah yang subur semakin berkurang di Indonesia, lahan yang tersedia sudah berkurang kesuburannya karena sudah dimanfaatkan dalam waktu yang cukup lama dengan pengguanaan pupuk anorganik yang berlebihan. Satu diantara cara untuk memperbaiki kesuburahan lahan ialah dengan menggunakan sistem pertanian organik. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruhi pemberian dosis pupuk hijau paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan krinyu (Chromolaena odarata) guna meningkatkan hasil tanaman brokoli. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Cangar Fakultas Pertanian. Penelitian  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yakni dosis pupuk hijau paitan dan faktor kedua yakni dosis pupuk hijau krinyu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), jika terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk hijau paitan dosis 6 ton ha-1 dapat meningkatkan penambahan jumlah daun, luas daun, index luas daun, bobot segar, bobot kering. Pada parameter panenl dosis pupuk hijau paitan juga meningkatkan diameter bunga dan bobot segar bunga tanaman brokoli yakni 10, 44 cm per tanaman dan 213 g per tanaman.

Abstract

Kedelai  (Glycine max (L.) Merr) merupakan tanaman pangan yang terpenting ketiga setelah padi dan jagung. Budidaya tanaman dengan pemupukan anorganik secara terus-menerus menyebabkan kandungan bahan organik tanah semakin berkurang. Peningkatan kesuburan tanah dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan bahan organik berupa pupuk kandang. Tanah mempunyai hubungan yang sangat erat dengan air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penambahan pupuk kandang dalam mengurangi jumlah air yang diberikan pada tanaman kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Green House, Landasan Udara Abdulrachman Saleh, Malang. Bahan yang digunakan adalah benih kedelai varietas Gema, pupuk kandang, polybag, air dan tanah. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial, terdiri dari 2 faktor yang diulang 3 kali. Faktor pertama, yaitu: A0 = Tanpa pupuk kandang; A1 = Pupuk kandang 20 ton ha-1; A2 = Pupuk kandang 30 ton ha-1.Sedangkan faktor kedua yaitu: B1 = 100% kapasitas lapang; B2 = 75% kapasitas lapang; B3 = 50% kapasitas lapang. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang 30 ton ha-1 dengan 100% kapasitas lapang memberikan hasil lebih tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.
