Abstract

The dropout rate of final year students continues to occur until now, a report from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in 2023 noted that as many as 352,494 students in Indonesia dropped out of college or dropped out (DO). around 4.52% of the total students in Indonesia. This can be influenced by several factors, including low academic ability, financial factors, place of residence while studying, place of origin and other factors. Based on this background, the purpose of this study was to analyze the urgency of religiosity and academic resilience in preventing dropout of PAI students at STIT Al-Khairiyah Cilegon and to determine the advantages and disadvantages of religiosity and academic resilience of PAI students at STIT Al-Khairiyah Cilegon. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The data sources obtained in this study came from eight informants, four informants from final year students and four informants from alumni of the PAI study program at STIT Al-Khairiyah Cilegon. The results of this study indicate that: First, the religiosity of PAI students at STIT Al-Khairiyah Cilegon plays an important role in forming their academic resilience.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become an urgent issue in Indonesia’s educational context, particularly in fostering tolerance and preventing radicalism among students. Schools play a crucial role in shaping students’ perspectives on religious diversity, with Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers serving as key agents in instilling moderation values. However, the implementation of religious moderation in schools faces various challenges, including curriculum constraints, sociocultural influences, and students’ diverse backgrounds. This study aims to analyze the specific strategies employed by IRE teachers in fostering religious moderation, the challenges they encounter, and the impact of their efforts on students. Using a qualitative research method with a social phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving IRE teachers and students in a senior high school in Banten, Indonesia. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify recurring patterns and key themes related to religious moderation practices. The findings indicate that IRE teachers implement religious moderation through interactive teaching methods, interfaith dialogues, and role-modeling behaviors that emphasize tolerance and balance. However, challenges such as limited institutional support, resistance from certain groups, and a lack of comprehensive training hinder the effectiveness of these efforts. Despite these obstacles, the study highlights the positive influence of IRE teachers in fostering an inclusive and harmonious school environment. The implications of this research suggest the need for more structured teacher training programs, curriculum adjustments to integrate religious moderation effectively, and policy support from educational institutions. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on religious moderation and provide practical recommendations for improving Islamic education in diverse learning environments.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sangat berperan untuk menciptakan generasi muda, tentunya di era digital yang banyak persoalan akhlak dan sosial. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya kebutuhan mendesak untuk mengoptimalkan pendidikan PAI agar dapat menjawab dinamika perkembangan teknologi sekaligus membangun generasi berkarakter di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Ki Washid Cilegon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti secara kualitatif strategi optimalisasi pendidikan PAI dalam membentuk penerus yang memiliki integritas, tanggung jawab, dan nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode kualitatif lapangan, dengan sumber data utama terdiri dari pengajar, murid, dan wali murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah deskriptif analitis untuk menggambarkan fenomena yang terjadi dan mengevaluasi penerapan strategi pendidikan PAI di era digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pendidikan PAI di SDIT Ki Washid Cilegon dilakukan melalui integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran, penerapan program penguatan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman, dan keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam proses pendidikan. Strategi ini terbukti efektif untuk menciptakan penerus berkarakter yang bukan hanya kompeten secara akademik namun mempunyai moralitas yang tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh media sosial terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin, (2) pengaruh game online terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin, (3) pengaruh media sosial dan game online terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin, Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah asosiatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik simple random sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel yang memberikan peluang yang sama bagi setiap unsur (anggota) populasi untuk dipilih menjadi anggota sampel. Selanjutnya untuk mendapatkan pengaruh sosial media dan game online terhadap akhlak siswa peneliti menggunakan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berpengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. Hal tersebut dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil uji t dengan nilai sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H01 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media sosial berpengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. (2) Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa game online berpengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. Hal tersebut dibuktikan berdasarkan hasil uji t dengan nilai sig diperoleh nilai 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H02 ditolak dan Ha2 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa game online berpengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. (3) Media sosial dan game online berpengaruh terhadap akhlak siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. The purpose of this study is to analyze in more depth the teaching, implementation, and impact of Islamic boarding school curriculum materials on amaliyah tadris activities in preparing students to become professional teachers at the Salafi and Khalafi Islamic Boarding Schools in Banten. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data types used are primary and secondary data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique refers to the theory of Miles Huberman, with source triangulation as a test of data validity. The results of this study show that 1). The teaching of amaliyah tadris at the Salafi Islamic Boarding School uses a hidden curriculum, while at the Khalafi Islamic Boarding School it refers to the KMI curriculum, 2) The implementation of amaliyah tadris at the Salafi Islamic Boarding School is carried out suddenly, and in uncertain conditions, while at the Khalafi Islamic Boarding School, it begins with preparing the committee, mentors, to participants and steps in implementing teaching, using Herberth's theory, and 3) The impact of amaliyah tadris at the Salafi Islamic Boarding School is the formation of a strong mentality, providing direct teaching experience, motivating students to study hard, instilling a sense of sincerity in the souls of students, and becoming a process of cadre formation for the successor to the kyai, while at the Khalafi Islamic Boarding School it is not only aimed at the formation of professional teachers, but also the formation of the souls of students in accordance with the five souls of modern Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Today the curriculum is a special and interesting subject to research and develop, because the curriculum is used as a guide in implementing the learning process in educational institutions, especially in madrasas related to the PAI curriculum. The purpose of this research is to describe the PAI Curriculum Development policy and its implementation at MTs Al-Fathaniyah Serang City. Qualitative research with document collection techniques, observation, interviews. The techniques include data reduction, data display, inference and verification. The results of the research are that the policy for developing the PAI curriculum at MTs Al-Fathaniyah Serang City is based on a legal hierarchy, namely from the 1945 Constitution; UU no. 20 of 2003 concerning SISDIKNAS; and KMA Number 183 of 2019 concerning PAI Curriculum and Arabic Language in Madrasas. In implementing the 2019 KMA 183 policy in developing the PAI curriculum at MTs Al-Fathaniyah, when viewed in terms of the fields of study in KMA 183, there are additional subjects, namely Nahwu and QQWT Sciences. As well as in other developments, namely developing and improving the RPP syllabus starting from KI, KD listed on the KMA and then developing it into several learning indicators adapted to the KKO from Bloom's Taxonomy. Also in the implementation of learning using various methods, models and varied strategies. After that, an evaluation was held to find out how far the PAI curriculum was developed at MTs Al-Fathaniyah.

Abstract

The Tingkeban ceremony, as a cultural heritage of the Javanese community in Nganjuk, East Java, Indonesia, is faced with preservation challenges due to the influence of modernization and globalization. This research explores integrating local wisdom and Islamic values in maintaining and enriching the Tingkeban Ceremony. This study used a case study approach involving observation, interviews, and document analysis as data collection methods. This research reveals that the fusion of local wisdom and Islamic values in the Tingkeban Ceremony results in a harmonious and meaningful cultural tradition, reflecting their Javanese identity and Islamic faith. The local wisdom in the ceremony includes values such as cooperation, togetherness, and tolerance, while the integrated Islamic values include good manners, submission to Allah Swt. and cleanliness. Collaboration between various parties, including the community, religious leaders, and local government, is essential in ensuring the continuity of the Tingkeban Ceremony. Although the practice has evolved, the core values of the ceremony have been maintained and even strengthened. This study recommends efforts to increase the role and involvement of the community in preserving the Tingkeban Ceremony, develop educational programs that strengthen understanding of cultural values and Islamic faith, and promote this ceremony as an attractive cultural tourism destination in Nganjuk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh kebijakan agama Islam dalam pengembangan karakter. Pendekatan yang dipakai adalah studi literatur dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Metode deskriptif-analitis ini dipergunakan dalam menggambarkan subjek kajian tanpa melaksanakan analisis data untuk kemudian menarik kesimpulan yang bersifat general. Sumber informasi yang dijadikan acuan dalam penulisan artikel ini meliputi buku, jurnal ilmiah, laporan, serta dokumen pemerintah. Hasil dari penelusuran internet yang diterbitkan dalam sebuah jurnal mengungkapkan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam berperan penting dalam mengukir karakter individu di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan kebijakan dalam pendidikan agama Islam hendaknya difokuskan untuk mengembangkan karakter yang kokoh, yang bersandar pada nilai-nilai agama Islam, dan berperan aktif dalam pengembangan karakter dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam tradisional yang memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan spiritualitas umat Islam di Indonesia. Namun, dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman modern, pesantren tidak terlepas dari berbagai problematika, terutama dalam hal pendidikan agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan pendidikan agama di pesantren, khususnya dalam hal metode pengajaran dan respons santri terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menelaah berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan untuk menggali akar permasalahan dan kemungkinan solusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya pengajar, metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif, tradisi Pesantren yang masih memegang erat kiaisentris, serta problem manajemen kelembagaan. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, diperlukan langkah-langkah pembaruan yang mencakup penguatan kapasitas tenaga pengajar melalui pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, penerapan metode pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif dan kontekstual, serta reformasi manajemen kelembagaan agar lebih profesional dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Selain itu, penting pula untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif santri dalam proses pembelajaran agar mereka tidak hanya menjadi objek, tetapi juga subjek pendidikan. Dengan demikian, pesantren dapat terus berperan sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang otentik sekaligus relevan dalam menjawab tantangan era modern.
