Abstract

This research aims to determine the teacher’s strategies in developing gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years, the teacher’s obstacles and solutions in developing children’s gross motor skills, as well as to determine the development of children’s gross motor skills at TK Baiturrahman Jempong Barat Mataram. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Data validity checks are carried out by observation persistence and triangulation. Based on the research results, it shows that the teacher’s strategies in developing gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Baiturrahman Jempong Barat Mataram have three kinds of strategies used, including: (1). Learning strategies through play. (2). Learning strategies through singing. (3). Group learning strategies. The obstacles faced by teachers in learning activities to develop children’s gross motor skills include: first, lack of teacher competence, second, child factors, and third, inadequate facilities. The development of children’s gross motor skills at TK Baiturrahman is said to be capable or developing well. Where children are able to imitate movements according to songs such as gymnastic movements and dance movements. In addition, children are able to walk on tiptoes. Children are able to walk forward and backward 10 steps, children are able to jump with 1 or 2 feet, children are able to combine squatting and jumping, and children are able to run fast without difficulty. This study highlights the importance of teacher creativity in selecting and modifying learning strategies to make physical activities enjoyable and suited to children’s needs. The research contributes to the development of early childhood education, particularly in the field of gross motor learning strategies based on play activities. Practically, the results of this study can serve as a reference for teachers and early childhood education institutions in designing more effective learning activities to stimulate children’s physical development while enhancing their health, self-confidence, and social skills.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun, kendala guru dan solusi dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak, serta mengetahui perkembangan motorik kasar anak di TK Baiturrahman Jempong Barat Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verification. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Baiturrahman Jempong Barat Mataram memiliki tiga macam strategi yang digunakan antara lain: (1). Strategi pembelajaran melalui bermain. (2). Strategi pembelajaran melalui bernyanyi/lagu dan menari. (3). Strategi pembelajaran kelompok. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan motorik kasar anak antara lain: pertama, Kurangnya kompetensi guru, kedua faktor anak dan ketiga, fasilitas yang kurang memadai. Perkembangan motorik kasar anak di TK Baiturrahman sudah dikatakan mampu atau berkembang dengan baik. Dimana anak mampu menirukan gerakan sesuai lagu seperti gerakan senam dan gerakan saat menari. Selain Anak mampu berjalan dengan kaki dijinjit, Anak mampu berjalan maju dan mundur, anak mampu melompat dengan 1 atau 2 kaki, Anak mampu kombinasi jongkok lalu melompat dan anak mampu berlari cepat tanpa kesulitan.  Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya kreativitas guru dalam memilih dan memodifikasi strategi pembelajaran agar kegiatan fisik menjadi menyenangkan serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan ilmu pendidikan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam bidang strategi pembelajaran motorik kasar berbasis aktivitas bermain. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru dan lembaga PAUD dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif untuk menstimulasi perkembangan fisik anak sekaligus meningkatkan kesehatan, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan sosial mereka.

Abstract

Anxiety is a common mental health issue among university students, which significantly affects their academic performance and well-being. While social support is widely recognized as a protective factor against anxiety, its effectiveness may vary depending on individual psychological factors such as religiosity. This study aims to examine the moderating role of Islamic religiosity in the relationship between social support and anxiety among Indonesian university students. By investigating the interaction, the research seeks to provide insights into faith-based coping mechanisms that may enhance students’ psychological resilience. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 523 university students in Indonesia using purposive sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire measuring anxiety (DASS-42), Islamic religiosity (MUDRAS), and social support (MSPSS). Moderation analysis was performed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) Model 1. The findings indicated that both social support (Z = -3.09, p = .002) and Islamic religiosity are significantly associated with lower anxiety levels (Z = -3.52, p < .001). Furthermore, Islamic religiosity moderated the relationship between social support and anxiety, suggesting that students with higher religiosity experience greater psychological benefits from social support (Z = -2.39, p = .017). These results highlighted the importance of integrating religious and social support into student mental health programs. Universities should consider implementing faith-based support systems to enhance students' psychological resilience and well-being, particularly in religiously oriented communities

Abstract

Religiusitas dan dukungan sosial dianggap penting dalam mengurangi kesepian yang dialami para mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran religiusitas Islam terhadap kesepian mahasiswa dengan dukungan sosial sebagai mediator. Partisipan penelitian adalah 332 mahasiswa aktif pada berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah MUDRAS (Muslim Daily Religiosity Assesment), MSPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support), dan SELSA-S (The Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale-Short). Analisis mediasi digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas Islam berpengaruh terhadap kesepian yang dirasakan mahasiswa. Selain itu juga terlihat bahwa dukungan sosial berperan sebagai mediasi dalam pengaruh religiusitas Islam terhadap kesepian. Religiusitas berperan penting dalam membentuk pengalaman psikososial mahasiswa hingga mengurangi kesepian. Hal ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan intervensi berbasis nilai agama dan peningkatan dukungan sosial dalam setting pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Everyone has different abilities and levels of intelligence, including children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Dyslexia is a neurological brain disorder that affects reading and writing skills, rather than being the result of poor learning. It involves challenges in information processing in the brain, so dyslexic children often have difficulty reading words quickly and accurately. This research aims to analyze the treatment of learning disorders of dyslexic children through the spelling method. The methodology used in this research involves a qualitative approach using case studies. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The observation and interview techniques used question guidelines that had been prepared, while documentation was carried out with data analysis techniques which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the spelling method is an effective teaching technique for children with dyslexia. This method involves phonetic understanding, phonological awareness, as well as a consistent and collaborative multi-sensory approach between schools and parents. The studied child showed significant improvement in reading ability after the application of this method, through repeated practice and periodic evaluation that ensures effectiveness and supports the achievement of the child's academic potential.

Abstract

The phenomenon of violence and decreased social sensitivity in children in the modern era is a serious problem that requires an educational approach from an early age. This study aims to analyze the potential of the Prophet Muhammad's stories as a medium in developing social sensitivity in early childhood and to design the basis for developing an applicable character learning model. Using the literature study method, this research analyzes three main stories: the Prophet's interaction with Abu Umair and his pet bird, his silent help to a Jewish beggar who was hostile to him, and his patient attitude towards a neighbor who often hurt him. The three stories reflect universal values such as empathy, patience, tolerance, consistency in doing good, and the ability to repay bad with good. These values are considered very relevant for children's character building and can be implemented in an integrated manner through the involvement of teachers, parents and the surrounding environment. The results show that the Prophet's story not only functions as a means of conveying moral messages, but also has transformative power in shaping children's social sensitivity in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Pentingnya mengimplementasikan permainan tradisional halang rintang untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan motoric kasar anak usia 4-5 tahun. Selain itu memberikan informan tentang permainan tradisional halang rintang menjadi salah satu permainan tradisional yang mudah dikmas dalam permainan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan metode guru dalam mengimplementasikan permainan tradisional halang rintang untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan motoric kasar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini adalah guru kelas A, Kepala sekolah, orang tua, wali kelas A Raudhatul Athfal Al-Hidayah. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data yaitu trigulasi sedangkan analisis data berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasian permainan tradisional halang rintang untuk mengoptimalisasikan kemampuan motoric kasar anak usi 4-5 tahun di Raudhatul Athfal telah dilakukan dengan metode demontrasi terlihat dari cara guru mengajarkan permainan tradisional yang disusun dari bebrapa permainan seperti, lompat katak, tiarap berjalanan seperti ular, berjalan diatas papan titian dan ular tangga. Hal ini menjadikan perkembangan motoric kasar anak usia 4-5 tahun semakin optimal.

Abstract

Getting to know children in technology, especially computers, is very important to do as a provision for children to face future challenges and improve their thingking skill. The learning can be done through a game and without using technological device or what is called unplugged coding games. This study aims to find out how the implementation of unplugged coding games in improving thingking skills is carried out. The method used is qualitative method with a descriptive approach through a type of field research conducted at PAUD Harapan Ummat Medan Polonia with data sources 1 Principal, 2 teachers and 15 children from the mecca class. The results of the study found that in the implementation of unplugged coding games activities were included in the opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. Unplugged coding games activities carried out were in form of tradisional games of engklek, tansoa (sholeh-sholeha children’s ladder), origami, playing loosepart-based puzzels, combining dots, coloring pictures with codes, filling in missing numbers and solving secret codes using numbers and letters. By implementing unplugged coding games in learning, it can improve children’s thingking skill so that children are able to show experiencing failure, showing ideas, recognizing and solving problems.
