Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru bahasa Arab dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca teks Arab pada siswa kelas VII MTsN Takalala. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi multi-level yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa. Pada siswa pemula digunakan strategi Empty Outline untuk melatih pemahaman dasar; pada siswa tingkat menengah diterapkan Index Card Match untuk memperkuat kosakata dan pemahaman konteks; sedangkan pada siswa tingkat lanjut digunakan strategi Analysis untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam memahami teks. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan strategi tersebut meliputi kemampuan dasar membaca, motivasi belajar, persepsi siswa terhadap bahasa Arab, serta ketersediaan sarana pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru juga melakukan upaya solutif berupa pemberian motivasi berkelanjutan, pelaksanaan program remedial Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTA), dan penugasan pekerjaan rumah secara terstruktur. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran membaca teks Arab tidak hanya bergantung pada kreativitas guru dalam memilih strategi, tetapi juga pada dukungan sistemik yang komprehensif. Dengan demikian, peran guru tidak terbatas sebagai penyampai materi, melainkan juga sebagai perancang strategi, motivator, serta pendidik remedial yang berfungsi memperkuat efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan santri dalam mentransformasi fi‘il māḍī menjadi fi‘il muḍāri‘ melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran langsung di Rumah Qur’an Hafidzah Asyiqotul Jannah Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian lapangan (field research). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 18 santri, dan data diperoleh melalui tes tertulis berupa pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur kemampuan morfologis peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji paired sample t-test guna mengetahui tingkat signifikansi peningkatan kemampuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 51,9 pada pre-test menjadi 85,0 pada post-test dengan perbedaan signifikan (p < 0,05). Peningkatan ini menegaskan bahwa metode pembelajaran langsung efektif dalam memperbaiki ketepatan perubahan bentuk fi‘il, kesesuaian harakat, dan pemahaman struktur kalimat. Secara teoretis, temuan ini mendukung pandangan bahwa penguasaan morfologi bahasa Arab memerlukan keterlibatan kognitif dan praktik langsung secara simultan. Secara praktis, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pengajaran bahasa Arab, khususnya pada lembaga pendidikan nonformal berbasis tahfidz, dengan menekankan pentingnya latihan kontekstual, interaksi langsung, dan umpan balik segera dalam proses pembelajaran sharaf.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTs GUPPI Dante Koa Kabupaten Enrekang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan mutu dilaksanakan melalui tiga fokus utama: (1) pengembangan sumber daya manusia guru melalui supervisi akademik, forum pembelajaran profesional, dan penegakan disiplin; (2) inovasi pembelajaran dengan penerapan pendekatan kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL), metode aktif, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan; dan (3) optimalisasi lingkungan belajar dengan peningkatan sarana prasarana dan penguatan kemitraan bersama orang tua serta masyarakat. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi komitmen guru, partisipasi masyarakat, dan ketersediaan kurikulum, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan waktu belajar, rendahnya pendampingan orang tua, pengaruh negatif lingkungan, serta persepsi siswa bahwa bahasa Arab sulit dipelajari. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang visioner, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual untuk mendorong transformasi mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the obstacles faced by grade 11 students at MAN Sorong SP 4 in comprehending English reading texts. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire completed by 20 students and semi-structured interviews with 5 students and 1 English teacher. The instrument covered four key areas: vocabulary mastery, motivation, media preferences, and teacher support. Results revealed that 76% of students struggled with vocabulary, 71% lacked effective reading strategies such as skimming and inference, and 64% had difficulties understanding text structures. Additionally, 60% of students demonstrated low motivation toward academic reading, although they showed interest in English content through social media. Interview findings supported the quantitative data, indicating students' reliance on dictionaries, absence of explicit reading strategy instruction, and low confidence in dealing with complex texts. The study recommends an instructional approach that integrates reading strategies, vocabulary development, and educational digital media to enhance students’ holistic reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

Metacognitive awareness is considered a key factor for proficient strategic reading, particularly for academic reading. That this study was designed to determine high school students' metacognitive awareness about academic reading strategy. Thus, through the Reading Strategy Survey, Global students' metacognitive awareness, Problem Solving and the reading support strategies used in academic reading are investigated. The results show that the participants usually use academic reading strategies so they are often aware of these strategies. They mostly use and realize problem solving strategies but supporting strategies are least used in academic reading. This study uses a survey in data collection. To achieve the goal, 104 questionnaires were administered to all participants. Researchers use the average as a measure to determine the level of use category for each category of reading strategy. The survey questionnaire developed by Mokhtari and Sheorey (2002) is called Survey of Reading Strategies (SORS). The reading strategy here is based on the SORS questionnaire, namely global reading strategies, problem solving strategies, and supporting strategies. This study found that students' use of reading strategies was high with students' preference for problem solving strategies. Suggestions are made for English teachers who can help them to improve student learning better, such as for students to know about how to apply the reading strategies they use well, and also for future researchers who have similarities with this research.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Ristek bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan sebesar-besarnya kepada peserta didik untuk belajar sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki (Student Learning Center). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif Kuantitatif. Jenis instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tertutup untuk beberapa item pernyataan, dan pertanyaan terbuka untuk menggali tingkat pemahaman responden terhadap variabel yang diukur. Berdasarkan hasil uji reliabilitas, variabel Proses Perencanaan IKM, Proses Implementasi IKM, dan Kepemimpinan Kepsek dalam IKM serta Kurikulum Merdeka menghasilkan koefisien alpha (Cronbach’s Alpha) > 0,60, menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan dapat dianggap reliable. Selain itu, nilai F hitung yang diperoleh (139.743) lebih besar dari F tabel (2,53), dengan probabilitas 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari Proses Perencanaan IKM, Proses Implementasi IKM, dan Kepemimpinan Kepsek dalam IKM terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka secara simultan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Proses Perencanaan IKM, Proses Implementasi IKM, dan Kepemimpinan Kepsek dalam IKM secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Ristek.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic law within the Indonesian legal system is explained through three main instruments: the Zakat Law, the Hajj Management Law, and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This study employs a library research method with a normative juridical approach, focusing on the analysis of legislation, academic literature, and previous research findings. The results highlight the significant role of Islamic law in accommodating the needs of the Muslim community through formal regulations, where the Zakat Law affirms zakat as a socio-economic obligation, the Hajj Law comprehensively regulates pilgrimage management, and the KHI serves as a reference for Islamic family law in safeguarding religious practices. Nevertheless, the implementation of these instruments is influenced by institutional frameworks, legal politics, and the pluralistic nature of Indonesian society. This study underscores the dynamic and evolving integration process of Islamic law within the national legal system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perjalanan usaha Nadya Allbeautycare dalam melakukan diversifikasi ke sektor toserba serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan yang berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Nadya Allbeautycare didorong oleh perubahan perilaku konsumen, meningkatnya permintaan produk kebutuhan sehari-hari, serta upaya pemilik untuk memperluas sumber pendapatan, sementara peralihan dari toko kecantikan ke toserba menghadapi beberapa tantangan seperti persaingan harga, manajemen persediaan, dan kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan berupa basis pelanggan yang loyal dan lokasi strategis, serta peluang dari pertumbuhan pasar ritel lokal, dengan strategi pengembangan yang direkomendasikan meliputi optimalisasi manajemen stok, peningkatan pemasaran digital, perluasan kategori produk, serta penguatan hubungan dengan pemasok. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pelaku UMKM yang ingin mengembangkan usahanya melalui diversifikasi ke sektor ritel modern.

Abstract

The learning of Al-Qur'an memorization for the Indonesian diaspora at the Prophet's Mosque in Medina has different characteristics from the learning of tahfizh in formal educational institutions. These differences arise from the diverse backgrounds of the participants and the learning context that takes place in an international prayer room. The purpose of this research is to explain how Al-Qur'an memorization instruction was implemented for the Indonesian diaspora at the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. It will include implementation time, learning strategies, media used, and memorizing assessment models. This research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology, gathering data via documentation, interviews, and observation. Tahfizh teachers and members of the Indonesian diaspora who actively engage in tahfizh activities made up the purposefully chosen study subjects. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing were the phases of data analysis, and source and method triangulation was used to assess the validity of the data. The results of the study indicate that Al-Qur'an memorization learning is carried out flexibly without a standard formal schedule, with the main methods being talaqqi, takrir, muroja'ah, and tasmi'. The learning media used are relatively simple: a standard Medina mushaf and audio recitation media. Evaluation is conducted formatively through ongoing memorization, with an emphasis on recitation quality and tajwid accuracy. This memorization learning has proven to be adaptive, contextual, and holistic in supporting the sustainability of Quran memorization among the Indonesian diaspora.

Abstract

The phenomenon of flexing, or showcasing achievements and lifestyle excessively on social media, has become an increasingly common trend among Generation Z. This study explores the relationship between self-esteem and flexing behavior, along with its impact on identity formation and mental health. Individuals with high self-esteem tend to share their accomplishments as a form of self-appreciation. However, without adequate emotional awareness and self-regulation, this behavior can escalate into narcissism and a dependence on external validation. Generation Z utilizes social media, especially Instagram, as a medium for self-expression, identity construction, and social recognition. In the context of jogging activities, posts on social media are not merely for showing off but serve as personal documentation, motivation, and inspiration for others. Jogging is not only viewed as a physical activity but also as a part of modern lifestyle and status symbol, often displayed through branded sportswear, smart devices, and aesthetic locations. Nevertheless, social pressure to maintain a certain image through social media can lead to psychological impacts such as identity crises, insecurity, and social stress. Previous research indicates that flexing behavior is driven by a desire for recognition, feelings of insecurity, obsession with others' possessions, and social pressure. Despite its negative sides, flexing also has potential positive effects, such as enhancing motivation to exercise, promoting healthy lifestyles, and strengthening supportive digital communities. Regular jogging has been proven to improve mental and physical health, including reducing anxiety and improving mood. Therefore, a healthy self-concept, emotional intelligence, and digital literacy are crucial for fostering responsible social media behavior. Generation Z must be equipped with critical awareness to distinguish between authentic self-expression and the illusion of recognition in today’s visually driven digital era.
