Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skill by applying the make a match model. This study is a classroom action research. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were collected using observation and test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of the problem based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education on the material of Asmaul Husna examples in grade IV students of SDN 15 Meulaboh, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Furthermore, there is an increase in each successive learning process from cycle 1 and cycle 2 as seen in the percentage of student learning outcomes. The results of teacher and student observations, the average value of student learning outcomes increased in the percentage of teacher activity observations in cycle 1 by 85% with good qualifications increasing in cycle 2 to 92% with very good qualifications.. Based on these results, the make a match model can be used as an alternative model in an effort to overcome the problem of low students' critical thinking skill.

Abstract

This case study was focused on a review of the recent management of the language Centre programme, University of Riau. The data were collected using triangulation method where some instruments were used, two sets of questionnaires for the students and staff, a semi-structured interview for the three staff, the results of students’ exams, and policy documents. The findings provided the evidence that the students were more motivated to study English for their future employment (instrumental motivation), whereas the staffs were more motivated to teach English for intrinsic rewards rather than extrinsic rewards. The findings also showed that the quality of teaching was generally good but it was suggested that the number of the computer for CALL program be increased, and more importantly, among the staff and the Manager be continuously built for a strong teamwork which could positively affect the implementation of the programme.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of investment decisions, funding decisions and profitability on company value in the property and real estate sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is time series data for the 2019-2023 time period and cross-section data sourced from 56 property and real estate sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression using the eviews 12 analysis tool. Panel data regression estimation technique using the Common Effect, Fixed Effect and Random Effect models, based on the results of the Chow test and Hausman test and lagrage multiplier (LM) the results show that the Random Effect Model is appropriate to this research. The research results show that investment decisions (PER) and profitability (ROE) have a negative effect on company value, while funding decisions (DER) have a positive and significant effect on company value in property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Abstract

Getting Married via teleconference is considered as a practical solution for couples separated by distance. However, Majma‘ al-Fiqh al-Islāmī al-Dawlī has issued a fatwa stating that teleconference marriage contracts are not permissible. This research aims to analyze the relevance of this fatwa in the context of modern Muslim society, by focusing on the problem formulation: 1) What was the opinion of the Majma‘ al-Fiqh al-Islāmī al-Dawlī on the marriage contracts via teleconference, 2) How was the discourse of Islamic institutions and contemporary Ulama’ regarding this issue, and 3) What was the relevance is this fatwa for today's Muslim society. The method used in this research was qualitative research. with a normative theological approach, emphasizing Qaidah Fiqhiyah such as Taghayyur al-Fatwa bi Taghayyur al-Zaman wa al-Makan, Sadd Dhari‘ah, and maslahah, alongside a normative juridical approach based on Indonesian marriage law. Primary data were obtained from official documents of Majma‘ al-Fiqh al-Islāmī al-Dawlī, complemented by secondary data. The result of this research showed that: 1) Majma‘ al-Fiqh al-Islāmī al-Dawlī considers teleconference marriage contracts invalid, 2) there are differing opinions among contemporary Ulama and Islamic institutions, and 3) the fatwa is not relevant to the needs of modern Muslim society, especially in the context of globalization and technological advancements.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam manajemen keuangan menjadi strategi penting dalam menghadapi dinamika bisnis di era ekonomi digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran digitalisasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan akurasi pengambilan keputusan keuangan melalui pendekatan studi literatur terhadap berbagai jurnal nasional terbaru. Teknologi seperti big data, artificial intelligence , blockchain, dan fintech telah mendorong optimalisasi sistem informasi akuntansi, perluasan akses pembiayaan, serta peningkatan daya saing UMKM. Namun, tantangan seperti literasi digital, keamanan data, dan kesiapan infrastruktur masih menjadi hambatan utama. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan digitalisasi manajemen keuangan membutuhkan sinergi antara teknologi, sumber daya manusia, dan dukungan kebijakan untuk menciptakan transformasi bisnis yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The research was conducted on 128 public high school teachers in Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency with the aim of knowing the effect of school organizational culture, teacher competency and teacher motivation on teacher performance. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and analysis methods with path analysis. With research results; 1. there is a direct effect of school organizational culture, and there is an indirect effect through teacher competence and teacher motivation on teacher performance of 16.63%. 2. There is a direct influence of teacher competence, or indirectly through school culture and teacher motivation factors on teacher performance of 40.18%. 3. There is a direct or indirect influence on teacher motivation through school organizational culture and teacher competence on teacher performance by 25.88%. And 4. Simultaneously the school organizational culture factors, teacher competence and teacher motivation, have a contribution of 82.90% to teacher performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of dormitory-based coaching and religiosity on the learning outcomes of Islamic education students. The research explores the relationship between these variables and their combined effect on academic performance. A quantitative approach using a correlational research design was employed, with a sample of 150 students from SMP Islam Darul Ulum Bantaran. Data was collected through a standardized questionnaire assessing dormitory coaching, religiosity, and academic performance, with analysis conducted using multiple linear regression and correlation techniques. The findings reveal that dormitory-based coaching (p = 0.042) and religiosity (p = 0.000) significantly positively impact learning outcomes. Furthermore, the study demonstrates a strong interaction between the two factors, suggesting that students who experience high levels of coaching and religiosity tend to achieve the best academic results. These results highlight the importance of integrating dormitory-based coaching and strengthening religiosity in educational settings. This research contributes to developing a holistic educational approach and provides valuable insights for improving educational practices, particularly in Islamic schools. Future research may explore additional factors influencing learning outcomes and assess the long-term effects of these variables on student development.

Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif ini merupakan proses memilih dan menyusun kegiatan pembelajaran dalam suatu unit pembelajaran seperti urutan, sifat materi, ruang lingkup materi, metode dan media yang paling sesuai untuk mencapai kompetensi pembelajaran. Pemilihan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif yang tepat dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam mencapai kompetensi atau tujuan pembelajaran. Peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan pemilihan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif yang tepat. Memilih strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif hendaknya tidak dilakukan secara sembarangan, melainkan berdasarkan pada kriteria atau standar tertentu, misalnya tujuan belajar, materi, karakteristik peserta didik, tenaga kependidikan, waktu, atau biaya. Di sisi lain, metode pembelajaran kompetitif lebih menekankan pada usaha individu untuk mencapai tujuan, yang mungkin tidak memaksimalkan interaksi sosial dan kolaborasi antara siswa. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan strategi kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran PJOK diduga lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi dan kemampuan kerjasama serta toleransi siswa terhadap pendapat orang lain. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 2 Muara Enim. Hasil pembelajaran kolaboratif membuat siswa terus merasa senang dalam memecahkan permasalahan karena dilaksanakan secara tim dan memberikan kesempatan berdiskusi dan mengenal lebih dalam karakter teman satu kelas. Rekomendasi untuk guru agar menerapkan tidak hanya pembelajaran pada olahraga tim tapi juga menjawab hasil belajar pada olahraga individu.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi dinamika diplomasi dalam konteks komunikasi politik internasional dengan menonjolkan tiga aspek utama: pemahaman diplomasi sebagai alat komunikasi politik, strategi komunikasi yang digunakan dalam interaksi antarnegara, serta analisis kasus diplomasi politik Islam. Pertama, diplomasi dipandang sebagai elemen penting dalam komunikasi politik yang bertujuan untuk membentuk persepsi dan mempengaruhi dinamika dalam sistem internasional. Kedua, artikel ini membahas berbagai strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh aktor negara dan non- negara, termasuk pemanfaatan media, retorika politik, dan pendekatan multilateral dalam menyampaikan pesan diplomatik. Ketiga, melalui analisis kasus diplomasi politik Islam, penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam digunakan untuk membangun hubungan luar negeri yang bersifat kooperatif dan kultural, terutama olehnegara-negara dengan populasi mayoritas Muslim. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif- deskriptif, artikel ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang keterkaitan antara diplomasi dan komunikasi politik dalam membentuk tatanan politik global kontemporer.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of the Panton Beunot Village apparatus, Pidie Regency, in designing and compiling the Village Qanun. Qanun is a village-level regulation that is important as a legal basis for organizing the social life of the community. The implementation of this activity includes socialization, technical guidance, and assistance in drafting the Qanun, especially the Qanun on Village Order and Security. The methods used are lectures, focus group discussions (FGD), and direct training for village apparatus. The results of the activity show an increase in the knowledge and skills of the apparatus in the legislative process at the village level. This activity also succeeded in producing a Qanun draft that is relevant to local problems, such as disturbances of order, violations of customary and religious norms, and environmental preservation. This activity is an important initial step in strengthening participatory and law-based village governance.
