Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the effect of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through a meta-analysis approach. This study is based on the phenomenon of low effectiveness of IRE learning, which still largely uses conventional approaches and is not responsive to the characteristics of the digital generation. Meta-analysis was used to integrate data from 10 quasi-experimental studies that met the inclusion criteria, with a publication range from 2019 to 2025. The results showed that all studies produced a large effect size, with a combined correlation coefficient value of 0.7365. These findings indicate that interactive media such as Canva, Kahoot, Mentimeter, Wordwall, as well as audiovisual media and animation have a significant influence on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education, both cognitively and affectively. Theoretically, these results are supported by the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning and the social constructivism approach, which explain that learning is more effective when it involves multimodal interaction and active participation. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to the development of a more adaptive, contextual, and technology-based religious education model, and can be used as a reference by teachers, curriculum developers, and policy makers in designing PAI learning strategies that are relevant to the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of parental attention towards pai academic achievement of grade xi students of sman 1 sabang. Religious education, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), plays an important role in the formation of students' character and personality. However, parental attention to children's religious education is often less than optimal due to busyness, changes in lifestyle and the influence of technology. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The sample of the study was 68 grade XI students of SMAN 1 Sabang, with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire and documentation of PAI subject PTS scores. The results showed that the contribution of parental attention had a positive and significant impact on PAI academic achievement of grade X1 students of SMAN 1 Sabang, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.768 and r table of 0.201. Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, because r count > r table with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the more attention parents give their children, the more positive the impact on their academic achievement in Islamic religious education. Conversely, the less parental attention a child receives, the lower their academic achievement in Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study presents the design and simulation of an on-grid photovoltaic (PV) solar power system for the training room at PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PT. PIM), located in North Aceh, Indonesia. As part of Indonesia’s renewable energy goals, this research explores the potential of rooftop solar installations in supporting the country's energy transition. Using the PVSyst simulation software, the study assesses the technical and economic feasibility of deploying a solar power system tailored to the building’s electricity demands and solar radiation characteristics. The design incorporates monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels, and system configurations are optimized based on factors such as panel capacity, inverter specifications, and site-specific conditions. The results indicate that a 2 kWp system can generate up to 2.91 MWh annually, with a performance ratio (PR) of 81.15%, demonstrating the system’s feasibility for sustainable energy use. The findings contribute to understanding the practical applications of rooftop solar power in educational and industrial sectors, providing insights into the potential for broader adoption across similar contexts in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the content and frequency of civic competence components found in the main textbook (Buku Teks Utama/BTU) for Grade IX Pancasila Education, published in 2023 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia. Civic competence, which encompasses knowledge, skills, values, attitudes, and character, is a critical domain in the formation of democratic and responsible citizens. This research adopts a mixed-methods content analysis that integrates both qualitative and quantitative approaches to examine how these components are presented and distributed throughout the textbook. Data collection involved a systematic process of reading, coding, and recording relevant content, allowing for an in-depth evaluation of textual material. The analysis reveals three major findings. First, the main textbook for Grade IX includes all core components of civic competence, with each aspect represented in various learning sections. Second, the knowledge component is the most dominant, accounting for 49.18% of the total civic competence content, indicating a strong emphasis on cognitive learning outcomes. Third, the main textbook presents these components through structured pedagogical features such as introductions to learning, instructional materials, learning activities, reflective tasks, and assessment instruments. These findings suggest that while the textbook supports the development of civic competence, there is a disproportionate focus on knowledge-based content compared to affective and behavioural dimensions. The study offers insights into the current orientation of Pancasila education and provides recommendations for balancing cognitive and character-based competencies to strengthen civic education in Indonesia’s formal curriculum.

Abstract

This study investigates the psychological impact of social media on female teachers in Islamic schools and their readiness to manage its negative effects. Using a mixed-methods design and Rasch model analysis, data were collected from 621 teachers across diverse Indonesian regions. The findings reveal significant variations in perceived mental health impact and coping readiness based on age, education level, region, and social media usage patterns. Teachers with high engagement, especially on visual platforms like Instagram and TikTok, reported increased psychological stress. Rasch-based DIF analysis highlighted item-level disparities across demographic subgroups. The study offers a novel contribution by integrating Islamic concepts maqashid syariah, fitrah, and ihsan into the interpretation of digital mental health, emphasizing the spiritual and cultural dimensions of resilience. The results underscore the importance of culturally sensitive interventions that support both psychological well-being and religious identity. Limitations include the study’s cross-sectional nature and context-specific sample.
