Abstract

In general, bullying in the community is familiar, there are many models of swearing carried out on social media that disturb school children and the community, such as what happened at Binus Serpong High School. This makes researchers conduct research related to bullying that occurs on social media, through analysis of the interpretations of Al-Misbah, An-Nur, and KEMENAG RI to contextualize one of the bullying verses contained in surah Al-Humzah. The methodology applied is comparative by determining the theme then analyzing the differences and similarities of the three interpretations. Furthermore, it provides contextualization of humazah and lumazah to answer that bullying is appropriate if understood through a comparative study that juxtaposes the three interpretations. The problem that needs to be sought according to researchers is how is the interpretation given by Quraysh, Hasbi, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia? What is the point of difference between the three interpretations? The interpretation of the three mufassir figures emphasizes the tahlili style that is colored with ijtima'I because each of them has different problems. Humazah for Quraysh is permissible in Islam when following one of the six conditions, for example, the purpose of the detractor or blasphemer so that the victim can change his bad nature, this good intention is what Al-Misbah uses as the basis for legalization

Abstract

The STEM Project-Based Learning (PjBL-STEM) model enhances students' creative thinking skills, allowing them to explore their potential and design projects accurately. This study aims to analyze students' creative thinking skills (originality) through the PjBL-STEM model, with a case study of 23 fourth-grade students at SDN Balongdowo, Sidoarjo. The research method used is qualitative to describe student activities based on creative thinking within the PjBL-STEM framework, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively. The PjBL-STEM project involved the design of a wind-powered vehicle that included activities such as understanding the mechanism of kinetic energy, energy transformation, brainstorming, and completing worksheets related to vehicle assembly for wind-powered motion trials. Students learned to design vehicles that adopted the concept of kinetic energy by utilizing wind power. The results showed that the analysis of students' creative thinking (originality) produced several findings: students independently created and designed projects with asymmetrical but accurate results, with very good criteria; students provide answers in their unique ways, perform calculation processes accurately, explore new methods, and complete projects with varying degrees of accuracy. This study concludes that the PjBL-STEM model effectively encourages students' creative thinking skills, especially in terms of originality, and has implications for improving the implementation of STEM-based learning to encourage innovation and creativity in elementary education.

Abstract

The primary challenge facing vocational education in Indonesia today extends beyond the acquisition of technical skills to include the urgent need for character formation, which is increasingly threatened by the forces of globalization and moral decline. This reality underscores the importance of a pedagogical approach that deliberately integrates Islamic and Muhammadiyah values into the educational process. This study aims to describe and analyze an integrated instructional model grounded in these values as a strategic framework for strengthening students' character at Muhammadiyah Vocational School in Salaman. Adopting a qualitative methodology with a case study design, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to obtain a holistic understanding. The findings reveal that the integration of Islamic and Muhammadiyah values significantly enhances students’ discipline, sense of responsibility, and spiritual awareness. The model is structured around five key components: monotheism (tauhid), a thematic-integrative curriculum, reflective-participatory learning methods, a holistic character evaluation system, and strong institutional support. The comprehensive integration of these values proves to be an effective strategy for fostering sustainable character development in vocational education. Future studies are encouraged to examine the long-term impact of this model through longitudinal research and to explore the potential of digital technologies in advancing value-based character education. Abstract

3D printing has rapidly evolved due to its significant advantages in rapid prototyping. 3D-printed products for industrial applications require stable mechanical properties, which are influenced by various factors. The lack of a comprehensive discussion addressing the factors affecting mechanical properties is the main reason for this review. This article aims to provide an overview of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing concerning the factors that influence the mechanical performance of FDM 3D products using polylactic acid (PLA) material. The article covers the impact of material factors, process parameters (such as layer thickness, infill patterns, print orientation, infill patterns, infill density, infill width, temperature, and printing speed), as well as post-processing treatments as key considerations. The contribution of this article is to explain to researchers and industry practitioners the factors that affect the mechanical performance of FDM 3D printed products.

Abstract

Instilling tolerance through learning about cultural diversity remains a challenge due to its abstract nature for students, so technology-based learning media that can attract their attention and increase their engagement is needed. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of digital flipbook learning media containing cultural diversity in improving students' understanding and tolerance. This research is a research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model. The research subjects include 186 students and 7 fourth-grade elementary school teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, needs assessments, product validation, response questionnaires, comprehension tests, and tolerance character scales. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods and through paired sample t-tests, independent sample t-tests, and MANOVA. Validation results indicated that the media is highly suitable for use (subject matter experts = 85.2%; media experts = 95%). The media was deemed practical based on student and educator responses, with the highest score reaching the “very practical” category. Effectiveness tests showed significant differences in comprehension scores and tolerance character before and after using the digital flipbook (p < 0.005). MANOVA tests also indicated significant differences between the experimental and control groups simultaneously. Thus, the culturally-infused digital flipbook was proven effective in enhancing comprehension and fostering tolerance character, and is suitable for use as an innovative learning medium in elementary schools.
