Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji eksistensi dan peran adat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Suku Lampung Sai Batin di tengah arus modernisasi. Masyarakat Suku Lampung Sai Batin memiliki tradisi adat yang kaya, yang mencakup sistem kekerabatan, struktur sosial, serta norma-norma kehidupan yang telah diwariskan turun temurun. Namun, di era globalisasi dan modernisasi, nilai-nilai adat ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang mengancam kelestariannya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana masyarakat Sai Batin beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman tanpa kehilangan identitas budaya mereka. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peran adat dalam menjaga solidaritas sosial, mengatur kehidupan bermasyarakat, serta memediasi hubungan antara individu dengan komunitas dan alam sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun modernisasi telah membawa pengaruh terhadap pola hidup masyarakat Sai Batin, nilai-nilai adat tetap memegang peranan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan sosial dan budaya. Adat menjadi landasan dalam penyelesaian masalah sosial, pengaturan kehidupan keluarga, dan menjaga keberlanjutan hubungan dengan alam. Namun, beberapa aspek adat, seperti upacara adat dan sistem kekerabatan, mulai mengalami perubahan seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan sosial ekonomi. This research aims to examine the existence and role of customs in the life of the Lampung Sai Batin Tribe in the midst of modernization. The Lampung Sai Batin Tribe has a rich customary tradition, which includes a kinship system, social structure, and life norms that have been passed down from generation to generation. However, in the era of globalization and modernization, these traditional values face various challenges that threaten their sustainability. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores how the Sai Batin people adapt to the changing times without losing their cultural identity. The main focus in this study is the role of customary in maintaining social solidarity, regulating community life, and mediating the relationship between individuals and the community and the surrounding nature. The results of the study show that although modernization has brought an influence on the lifestyle of the Sai Batin people, traditional values still play an important role in maintaining social and cultural balance. Customs are the foundation for solving social problems, regulating family life, and maintaining a sustainable relationship with nature. However, some aspects of customs, such as traditional ceremonies and kinship systems, began to undergo changes along with technological developments and socio-economic changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika penggunaan Bahasa Lampung dalam keluarga di Kota Bandar Lampung, khususnya dalam konteks pergeseran antar-generasi. Bahasa Lampung, sebagai simbol identitas budaya, menghadapi tantangan besar akibat dominasi Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing yang dipicu oleh globalisasi, modernisasi, dan urbanisasi. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa generasi muda cenderung lebih akrab dengan Bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan penggunaan Bahasa Lampung terbatas pada konteks tertentu, seperti acara adat atau komunikasi dengan generasi tua. Faktor-faktor seperti perubahan persepsi terhadap Bahasa Lampung, kebijakan pendidikan, dan pengaruh teknologi serta media turut mempercepat pergeseran ini. Untuk melestarikan Bahasa Lampung, diperlukan sinergi antara keluarga, lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas budaya melalui pendidikan formal, pelatihan guru, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta penguatan peran keluarga. Upaya ini bertujuan menjaga eksistensi Bahasa Lampung sebagai warisan budaya yang harus diteruskan kepada generasi mendatang. This research examines the dynamics of Lampung language use in families in Bandar Lampung City, especially in the context of intergenerational shifts. Lampung language, as a symbol of cultural identity, faces major challenges due to the dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages ​​triggered by globalization, modernization and urbanization. Using qualitative methods with literature study, this research found that the younger generation tends to be more familiar with Indonesian, while the use of Lampung is limited to certain contexts, such as traditional events or communication with the older generation. Factors such as changing perceptions of the Lampung language, less supportive education policies, and the influence of technology and media have also accelerated this shift. To preserve the Lampung language, synergy is needed between families, educational institutions, government and cultural communities through formal education, teacher training, use of digital technology and strengthening the role of the family. This effort aims to maintain the existence of the Lampung language as a cultural heritage that must be passed on to future generations.

Abstract

This community service initiative was designed to address digital promotion challenges at Al-Amalul Khair Senior High School through the comprehensive implementation of a redesigned digital brochure. The program adopted a systematic approach encompassing four key phases: coordination and needs assessment, digital brochure implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scholarly publication. Primary activities included field surveys, brochure design using digital platforms, collaborative content review sessions, and digital distribution of the final materials. The project yielded significant outcomes, including the successful completion of both the brochure redesign and an instructional guide for utilizing digital design platforms. Stakeholder feedback indicated substantial improvements in visual appeal, information clarity, and promotional effectiveness. Teachers appreciated the more organized information presentation, while students found the core promotional message more focused and accessible. International collaboration with Politeknik Merlimau Melaka further enriched the project by providing valuable cross-cultural perspectives on infographic design and color scheme selection. This initiative has not only transformed the school's promotional strategy but also fostered digital capacity development, effectively bridging traditional educational values with contemporary digital marketing requirements while creating sustainable opportunities for advancing digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of budget efficiency policies as a regional financial management strategy in the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government for the 2021–2025 period. The study focuses on budget trends and revenue realization, expenditures, efficiency ratios, and the performance of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) components. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach, involving documentation, in-depth interviews, and direct observation at relevant agencies, namely the Finance Bureau of the Regional Secretariat and the Central Kalimantan Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bappeda). The results show that although fiscal capacity has experienced significant growth, the percentage of expenditure realization remains below the ideal target, with efficiency ratios varying between 82.69% and 109.55%. Improved regional tax performance is the main factor in strengthening PAD, while regional levies and regional wealth management results still show low performance. The implemented efficiency policies have succeeded in saving non-priority expenditures without sacrificing basic service sectors, in line with the principle ofvalue for money And good governanceHowever, key challenges include limited human resource capacity, a suboptimal integrated budgeting information system, and bureaucratic resistance to budget restructuring. This research contributes theoretically to the literature on provincial-level budget efficiency and offers practical recommendations for other regions to optimize budget allocation, strengthen fiscal independence, and maintain the quality of public services sustainably.

Abstract

Early childhood cognitive development encompasses thinking, remembering, imagining, and problem-solving, which require stimulation through learning media. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of tangram media in developing the cognitive abilities of children aged 4–5 years through exercises that involve identifying and arranging tangram shapes from basic geometric blocks to form new shapes. The observational results revealed that children aged 4-5 years have difficulties; their cognitive development remains limited. 16 of 22 children have not demonstrated the ability to arrange and name geometric blocks and to compare their similarities and differences. This study was conducted at RA Takrimah Banda Aceh. This study employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. Purposive sampling was used, and of the 43 students in the population, 22 from class A2 were selected as the sample. Data collection methods include observation and documentation. Based on the results of the Normality Test, after ensuring that the data is normally distributed, the t-count value (19.439) > t-table (1.721) and sig (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05 obtained from the data analysis process indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the research findings, Tangram Media is a viable alternative to traditional methods for developing early childhood cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat di daerah guna menciptakan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan atau mendeskripsikan pengembangan pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya Pendidikan yang meliputi landasan teori, kondisi pendidikan, dan tingkat pendidikan masyarakat Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Leuwiliang, Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek masyarakat Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Leuwiliang, Kabupaten Bogor yang kebanyakan masyarakatnya hanya menempuh pendidikan hanya sampai bangku sekolah menengah pertama saja. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dengan langkah-langkah adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. simpulan penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat khususnya pelajar akan pentingnya pendidikan

Abstract

Wound healing is a complex biological process consisting of inflammation, proliferation, and tissue remodeling phases. Complications following tooth extraction, such as infection and delayed healing, may interfere with this process. Lawsonia inermis L. (henna) leaves are widely used in traditional medicine and contain bioactive compounds with potential therapeutic effects. The main active compound, lawsone (2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone), along with flavonoids and tannins, exhibits antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties that may stimulate fibroblast proliferation and support connective tissue regeneration. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of henna leaf extract on fibroblast formation during the wound healing process after tooth extraction in male Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). This laboratory experimental study used a posttest-only control group design involving 30 male Wistar rats divided into five groups: a negative control group, a positive control group, and three treatment groups receiving henna leaf extract at concentrations of 20%, 30%, and 40%. Histological observations of fibroblast cells were performed on days 3, 7, and 14 after tooth extraction. Statistical analysis using one-way ANOVA showed a highly significant difference among groups (Sig. = 0.000; p < 0.001). Further analysis with the LSD test indicated that the 40% henna extract group had significantly higher fibroblast counts compared with the control groups (p < 0.05). In conclusion, henna leaf extract significantly increases fibroblast formation in post-extraction wound healing, with the 40% concentration showing the most effective results. These findings suggest that henna leaf extract has potential as a natural therapeutic agent for promoting wound healing after tooth extraction and may contribute to the development of herbal-based dental treatment materials.
