Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the construction and existence of Islamic educational management science. The research conducted is descriptive in nature where researchers collect words not in the form of a series of numbers for this study which in essence these words can provide a description or present existing problems and problem solving. The data analysis used is by analyzing the content, where the analysis emphasizes more on describing the contents of various existing propositions that are born from various theories and previous analyses conducted by other researchers. The results of the study indicate that the construction of science or the order of science is certainly related to several understandings about how someone seeks knowledge. The construction of the Islamic education system refers to the process of planning, organizing, and implementing various components and strategies of education based on the principles and values of Islamic teachings. The existence of Islamic Education Management shows that Islamic Education Management really exists and its existence is recognized in real terms by society. Existence Islamic educational management science focuses on governance actions that are considered not yet fully implemented by Islamic educational institutions, for example the concept of transparency and integrity. Theoretically, the discussion can be shifted to Islamic education science or to Islamic studies rather than directly to holy verses that can be dogmatic

Abstract

This This article aims to analyze the conceptual framework of corporate zakat and critically examine its foundations in Islamic law and positive law, as well as the role of shareholders in corporate zakat decision-making. Furthermore, the article also explores the practical challenges in the implementation of corporate zakat in Indonesia.  In Islamic law, corporations are categorized as syakhshiyyah i’tibariyyah (legal persons), making them subject to zakat obligations similar to individuals. In Indonesia, various legal instruments formally recognize corporate zakat; however, implementation faces challenges such as low compliance, ineffective regulation, and limited shareholder participation. This study employs a normative qualitative approach, focusing on the examination of positive legal norms and Sharia values. The research is conducted through library research by reviewing contemporary fiqh literature, national legal documents, and corporate zakat practices in Indonesia. The collected data were then analyzed for their relevance and alignment with actual practices in the field, followed by evaluation and conclusion based on the results of the analysis. The findings highlight the need to enhance zakat literacy among shareholders, institutionalize zakat within corporate governance structures, and develop supportive public policy. The article recommends literacy campaigns, regulatory harmonization, and the integration of zakat into ESG frameworks as systemic strategies. It also calls for further research on zakat's role in value driven corporate governance transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of the prophetic values of shiddiq (honesty), amanah (responsibility), and fathanah (wisdom) in the leadership of Islamic education in madrassas in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results of the study show that the value of shiddiq is realized through budget transparency, consistency of actions, and open policy delivery, which strengthens trust and fosters an honest work culture. The value of the mandate is realised through systematic supervision, competency-based task distribution, open reporting, and collective deliberation, resulting in a credible and accountable work system. Meanwhile, Fathanah is reflected in data-driven strategic decision-making, participatory dialogue, and wise responses to crises, which increase organizational efficiency and participation. These three values contribute significantly to building ethical, transformative, and benefit-oriented leadership. This research strengthens the position of prophetic leadership as a strategic framework in contemporary Islamic education governance, while offering an applicative model for the development of competencies of madrasah heads.

Abstract

General Background Science process skills are essential in science education to foster students’ understanding and application of scientific concepts through practical activities. Specific Background In Indonesian junior high schools, practical work is a key strategy to develop these skills, yet many students struggle to achieve optimal competency. Knowledge Gap Limited studies have explored specific obstacles faced by teachers and students during the training of science process skills in real classroom settings, particularly in MTs or equivalent institutions. Aims This study aims to identify the challenges encountered in fostering science process skills among seventh-grade students at MTs Terpadu Mardlatillah. Results Using a qualitative descriptive method with data triangulation (questionnaires, documentation, and interviews) and Miles & Huberman’s analysis model, the study examined eight indicators of science process skills. Findings revealed four main challenges: difficulty in determining variables, absence of experimental setup images, inability to analyze data and draw conclusions, and low confidence in presenting results. Novelty This research provides a detailed mapping of science process skill challenges in the context of Islamic junior high school practical activities, integrating both teacher and student perspectives. Implications Addressing these issues is crucial to prevent further skill gaps and to improve practical science education strategies in similar educational contexts. Highlights : Identification of four key challenges in training science process skills Use of qualitative descriptive method with data triangulation Contextual focus on practical science learning in Islamic junior high school Keywords : Science Process Skills, Practical Work, Junior High School, Qualitative Research, Learning Challenges

Abstract

General Background : The rise of digital technology has introduced modern challenges to education, particularly concerning students' engagement with online games. Specific Background : This study specifically examines the effects of online game addiction on fourth-grade students at Al-Islamiyah Putat, Tanggulangin Elementary School. Knowledge Gap : While the general impacts of online gaming are known, there is a gap in understanding the specific effects and effective mitigation strategies within this particular school context. Aims : The research aims to analyze the positive and negative consequences of online game addiction on students' academic motivation and behavior. Results : Findings indicate both positive and negative outcomes. Positively, students easily learn foreign languages and develop technological literacy. Negatively, students show poor emotional control, lack of motivation for both academic and non-academic achievements, and have reduced concentration in class. Teachers address this with a reward and punishment system. Novelty : The study's novelty lies in its focused analysis of a specific elementary school, providing a detailed case study on the dual impacts of online gaming. Implications : The research suggests that the primary factor in addiction is the home environment, emphasizing the need for parental supervision and for teachers to employ effective strategies to manage this issue. Highlights : Online gaming has both positive and negative effects on elementary students' learning and behavior. Positive effects include learning foreign languages and developing technological skills, while negative effects involve emotional issues and poor concentration. The main factor in online game addiction among students is their home environment, underscoring the importance of parental supervision. Abstract

General Background : This study is grounded in the importance of psychological and social factors in determining students' academic success. Specific Background : The focus is to analyze the relationship between students' perceptions of the peer environment and learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of 8th-grade students at SMPN 1 Prambon. Knowledge Gap : Although previous studies have identified this relationship, an in-depth analysis within a specific context is needed to reveal potentially differing findings. Aims : This research aims to quantitatively describe the relationships among these variables. Results : The findings show a positive relationship between the peer environment and learning motivation with students’ learning outcomes. Novelty : The novelty of this study lies in the finding that students' perceptions of the peer environment do not entirely influence learning outcomes, which contradicts previous theories and suggests other, more dominant factors may be at play. Implications : These findings carry important implications for educators to consider other factors and design more comprehensive learning strategies, providing a basis for further research. Highlights : This research analyzes the relationship between peer environment, learning motivation, and science learning outcomes. The study used an ex-post facto method with a sample of 169 eighth-grade students. The results show a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes, but the peer environment's influence is not as direct as some theories suggest.
