Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of learning Arabic, the problems encountered, the solutions made to overcome these problems and the curriculum targets at Al-Ittiba'Juwiring Klaten Islamic Elementary School Plus. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis methods are used by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of learning Arabic at the Islamic Elementary School Plus Al-Ittiba' Juwiring Klaten begins with the teacher reading and explaining the material, then students are given assignments using an Arabic language textbook published by Pustaka Sofwa. The problem faced in learning Arabic is that Arabic teachers are not graduates of Arabic language education study programs. Then, students are not enthusiastic in learning Arabic because the learning method is monotonous. So on, less time is facilitated and the curriculum uses an old curriculum. The solution is that the Arabic teacher should be a graduate of Arabic language education study program. Then, the teacher should motivate students more often and the methods used should be more varied. Then, the time facilitated in learning is added and the curriculum used should use the latest curriculum. The aim of the curriculum is to foster students to become intelligent, Muslim and noble human beings

Abstract

In the digital era, Islamic education faces significant challenges, particularly in maintaining the harmony between knowledge and adab (ethical conduct). These challenges materialize in the form of moral disconnection among students, digital distractions that weaken focus, and the commodification of knowledge driven by market interests. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas identifies the erosion of adab as the root crisis in Islamic education. This study aims to explore al-Attas’s concepts of knowledge and adab, examining their relevance in reimagining Islamic education amid digital transformation. Relying on a library research method, the study employs philosophical exegesis and textual hermeneutics to critically analyze al-Attas’s seminal works, especially Islam and Secularism and The Concept of Education in Islam. Key concepts such as the loss of adab, confusion of knowledge, and the Islamic worldview are discussed as foundations for an integrated educational model. The findings emphasize that the principle of ta’dib which integrates intellectual, moral, and spiritual development is crucial for addressing contemporary issues. This research contributes a contemporary reinterpretation of ta’dib, offering both theoretical insights and practical applications for Islamic education in the digital context. Proposed strategies include ethical digital literacy, value-based teacher training, and curriculum design grounded in Islamic metaphysics. The study advocates that technology must serve to reinforce the Islamic worldview rather than secularize it. Ultimately, this work proposes a framework that reconnects knowledge with adab, ensuring Islamic education remains morally grounded and intellectually relevant in the face of digital challenges.

Abstract

DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 106/DSN-MUI/X/2016 regarding halal tourism is a significant reference in Indonesia. This research analyzes the authenticity of the hadiths within this fatwa using a qualitative method with a takhrij al-hadith approach, focusing on the quality of the sanad (chain of narrators) and matan (text). The primary data sources are the DSN-MUI fatwa, hadith collections, and narrator biographies (rijal al-hadith) such as Tahzib al-Tahzib and Tahzib al-Kamal. Findings indicate that two hadiths narrated by Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Baihaqi are classified as dhaif (weak) but may be used for fadha'il al-a'mal (virtues of deeds) if their weaknesses are not severe. Conversely, a hadith narrated by Abd al-Razzaq is deemed sahih (authentic). This study contributes by performing takhrij from Mashadir al-Asliyah (primary sources) on the hadiths of the halal tourism fatwa, an underexplored area.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a data-based Employee Watchlist system as a fraud prevention strategy in the banking sector in Indonesia. This study is based on the Fraud Triangle Theory, focusing on two main elements, namely motivation and opportunity, and strengthening the implementation of the Know Your Employee (KYE) strategy as regulated in POJK No. 12 of 2024 concerning Anti-Fraud Strategy. The method used is a case study with a descriptive-quantitative approach at Bank ABC. The data analyzed includes internal employee indicators such as Debt Service Ratio (DSR), leave patterns, and length of service in one position. The results of the study indicate that employees with DSR> 70%, do not take block leave, and hold the same position for more than two years have a high risk of fraud. This study supports the preparation of an Employee Watchlist system that is integrated with individual risk indicators predictively. This study also contributes to designing data-based supervision of employee behavior as part of the transformation of human resource risk management in the financial sector.

Abstract

Mental health issues among individuals, particularly in counseling contexts, require practical tools to understand and address emotional states. This study explores the application of machine learning models for emotion detection in mental health counseling conversations, focusing on four algorithms: Bernoulli Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest. The dataset, derived from transcribed counseling sessions, underwent preprocessing, including stemming, stopword removal, and TF-IDF vectorization to create structured inputs for classification. Emotional categories such as "Depresi" (Depression), "Kecewa" (Dissapointed), "Senang" (Happy), "Bingung" (Confused) and "Stres" (Stress) were analyzed to evaluate model performance. Results indicated that Logistic Regression achieved the highest accuracy at 82%, showcasing its reliability and scalability, followed closely by Random Forest with 81%, demonstrating robustness in handling complex data structures. Bernoulli Naive Bayes performed competitively at 80%, excelling in computational efficiency, while Decision Tree recorded the lowest accuracy at 70%, reflecting its limitations in managing overlapping features and high-dimensional data. These findings highlight the potential of machine learning in addressing the increasing demand for scalable mental health support tools. The study underscores the importance of model selection, balanced datasets, and feature engineering to improve classification accuracy. Future work includes developing AI-driven chatbots for real-time emotion detection and integrating multimodal data to enhance interpretability. This research contributes to advancing automated solutions for mental health care, offering new pathways for timely and personalized interventions.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z) faces serious challenges in maintaining moral and spiritual identity amidst the swift flow of information, social media penetration, and academic pressures in the digital era. In this situation, Islamic religious education is required not only as a fortress of values, but also as an agent of innovation that is able to adapt to changing times. This research aims to explore the application of the dialectical principle between reason and revelation in Islamic religious education as an effort to answer the social dynamics and technological challenges faced by Gen Z. The method used is descriptive with a literature approach, through analysis of Fazlur Rahman's works and other relevant literature. The results show that Fazlur Rahman's thought, especially the concept of double movement, offers a dynamic approach to bridging the tension between religious tradition and the demands of modernity. However, the implementation of this thought in the Islamic education system is still limited and requires contextual pedagogical adaptation. In conclusion, the integration of reason and revelation in Islamic religious education is important to form Gen Z characters who are resilient, critical and religious. Innovative strategies based on digital literacy, dialogical approaches, and strengthening spiritual values are needed so that religious education remains relevant and effective in the digital era.
