Abstract

Research is to determine the influence of Digital Media Literacy Competencies on the Enforcement of Multicultural Values of the Millennial Generation in Bulukumba Regency. The research was conducted using quantitative research. The population of this study is the millennial generation in Bulukumba Regency. Sample determination was carried out using a purportive cluster random sampling technique. The sample size was determined using the Slovin technique at an error rate of 1 percent. The results of the research reveal that the influence of media literacy skills on upholding the multicultural values of the millennial generation in Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency is in the low category. From the results of the regression equation Y= 0.471 + 0.173X 1 + 0.233X 2 + 0.186X 3, the magnitude of the effect is 65.5%. This influence is categorized as low and is 34.5% influenced by other factors. Therefore, activities to increase the digital media literacy skills of the millennial generation must be carried out continuously. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi Literasi Media Digital Terhadap Penegakan Nilai Multikultural Generasi Milenial di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah generasi milenial di Kabupaten Bulukumba penetapan sampel dilakukan dengan dengan Teknik purporsif cluster random sampel. Besarnya sampel ditetapkn dengan Teknik slovin pada tingkat kesalahan 1 persen. Hasil penelian mengungkapan adanya pengaruh kemampuan literasi media terhadap penegakan nilai multikultural generasi milineal di Kecamatan Bulukumpa Kabupaten Bulukumba terkategori rendah. Dari hasil persamaan regresi Y= 0,471 + 0,173X1 + 0,233X2 + 0,186X3, besarnya pengaruhnya sebesar 65,5 %. Pengaruh tersebut dikategorikan rendah dan sebesar 34,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Oleh karena itu kegiatan peningkatan kemampua literasi media digital kepada generasi milineal harus dilakukan secara berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam promosi budaya dan pariwisata Kabupaten Wakatobi serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap kesadaran wisatawan dan jumlah kunjungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Data yang diperoleh dari Dinas Pariwisata Wakatobi serta wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Instagram, Facebook dan TikTok merupakan platform yang paling efektif dalam promosi pariwisata, karena memungkinkan interaksi langsung dengan wisatawan serta penyebaran informasi yang lebih luas melalui fitur visual sehingga dapat meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung. Dari data yang di peroleh, jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung di Wakatobi tahun 2023 sebanyak 9.117, mengalami menurunan dibanding tahun 2022 yang mencapai 11.338, tetapi di dominasi oleh wisatawan domestik berbeda dengan tahun 2023 yang di dominasi oleh wisatawan mancanegara

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the level of functional interpersonal communication skills of tax extension workers, the level of taxpayer compliance, taxpayer awareness and the magnitude of the influence of the level of functional interpersonal communication skills of tax extension workers on the improvement of tax reporting compliance at the South Makassar Pratama Tax Service Office. This study uses a quantitative method using an interpersonal communication skills approach and data collection is carried out through the distribution of questionnaires. The variables tested were the influence of functional interpersonal communication skills of tax extension workers, understanding and awareness of taxpayers on increasing taxpayer compliance. The results of the study show that the level of functional interpersonal communication skills of tax extension workers, the level of understanding and the level of tax awareness simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on tax reporting compliance. This is marked by a calculated F value (21,712) greater than the F table (2.68) and a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 as the threshold of the set significance value. However, when tested partially, only one variable had a positive and significant effect on the improvement of tax compliance, namely the level of functional interpersonal communication skills of tax extension workers. Abstract

This study analyzes the politicization of social assistance in the film Dirty Vote using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach. The concept of signifier and signified is used to identify and interpret the visual and verbal signs presented in the film. The results of the analysis show that elements such as party symbols, dominant colors, budget graphs, and narrative scenes illustrate the close relationship between the distribution of social assistance and certain political agendas. Signifiers such as the overlay text "politicization of social assistance" and images of officials in the campaign reflect a systematic pattern that utilizes social assistance for electoral interests. The resulting signifiers reveal criticism of the abuse of power, the inequality of aid distribution, and its impact on public trust in the government. By understanding the sign system used, this study highlights the importance of public awareness of the issue of the politicization of social assistance in the context of democracy seen from the perspective of communication semiotics studies

Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the effect of dividend payments on the quality of the company's earnings and its impact on the predictability of the company's cash flows in the future. The population in this study are companies in the ASEAN region that are included in the ASEAN Asset Class Publicly Listed Companies list. The research method uses the associative method to see the relationship between the existing variables. The results of the study show that companies that pay dividends consistently have better earnings quality than companies that do not pay dividends to their shareholders. Likewise, the effect of firm size on the quality of firm earnings shows that the magnitude of the coefficient of firm size is significant and positive for the two proxies of earnings quality used in this study, namely ADA and AAQ. Thus it can be concluded that the larger the size of the company, the higher the quality of earnings presented by the company. Meanwhile, the test results on other variables show that the company's growth and the company's sales growth do not have a significant effect on the quality of the company's earnings

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis aspek feminisme dalam Novel Gadisku di Masa Lalu karya Ashadi Siregar. Novel ini menceritakan tentang kehormatan seorang perempuan yang dipandang melekat pada kesucian diri seorang perempuan. Dalam novel tersebut, sedikit digambarkan diskriminasi terhadap perempuan yang sudah tidak memiliki kesucian. Seorang perempuan yang sedang jatuh cinta ternyata akan rela melakukan apa saja demi kekasihnya yang tercinta, karakter Sylvani (Vani) dalam novel tersebut menggambarkan seorang perempuan yang rela mengorbankan apa saja demi kekasihnya bahkan yang paling berharga yang ia miliki, sedangkan tokoh Vita yaitu adik kandung Vani yang hampir dirampas kesuciannya oleh abang iparnya sendiri (suami Vani). Tokoh Vani memiliki persoalan yang tidak jauh berbeda dengan wanita-wanita lain di kehidupan masyarakat. Vani memiliki rasa kekaguman pada seorang laki-laki yang ia cintai, akan tetapi nasib berkata lain, Vani harus siap menerima perjodohan yang telah ditentukan oleh ayahnya. Perjodohan yang tidak Vani inginkan selama ini, ia harus menikah dengan orang yang tidak ia cintai. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hal ini bertujuan membuat paparan yang sistematis, faktual, dan akurat tentang fakta-fakta dan juga sifat-sifat objek penelitian. Data penelitian yang diambil berupa aspek femenisme dalam novel Gadisku di Masa Lalu karya Ashadi Siregar. Dengan sumber utama data adalah novel Gadisku di Masa Lalu karya Ashadi Siregar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik hermeneutic yaitu teknik baca, catat, dan simpulkan. Adapun dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menganalisis dan membahas aspek- aspek feminisme yang terkandung di dalam novel Gadisku di Masa Lalu karya Ashadi Siregar. Aspek feminisme yang berkaitan yaitu mengidentifikasi bentuk ketidaksetaraan gender dalam novel. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat ditemukan aspek-aspek feminisme antara lain, 25 aspek kesadaran, 11 aspek komitmen, 10 aspek politik, dan 4 aspek budaya. Ketidaksetaraan gender dalam novel tersebut ditemukan ada 7 ketidaksetaraan menurut pandangan Islam dan ada 3 ketidaksetaraan gender dalam pandangan adat istiadat batak dan kajian aspek feminisme kesadaranlah yang tertinggi di dalam novel tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the acrostic learning method on the ability to write poetry in class VIII SMP Al-Wasliyah 24 Medan in the 2017-2018 academic year. Learning to write provides many benefits, including developing creativity, instilling courage and confidence, and helping students express ideas, thoughts, experiences, feelings and ways of looking at life. Seeing the many benefits that students will get in learning to write, writing activities should be an activity that students are interested in. However, the reality in some schools shows that writing is still a difficult activity for students. Students' difficulties are natural because writing poetry requires a process and is strongly influenced by habits, students' vocabulary mastery and choice of diction. The ability to write poetry for class VIII SMP Al-Wasliyah 24 Medan before using the acrostic learning method is very poor because it can be seen from the results of the study that students' scores are still much below the KKM with an average value of 36.18. Therefore, the researchers tried to solve these problems by using the acrostic learning method. This research is a type of quantitative research. in this study, researchers used experimental research. Experimental research is quasi-experimental or not. Therefore, the population in this study was set at class VIII-1 students, which amounted to 30 students and became the total sample. To obtain data in the study of poetry writing skills, a test of Indonesian language learning outcomes was used for students with poetry writing material. The design in this experimental study uses a Pre-test Post-test Design which provides an initial ability test and then after doing the treatment students are given a learning outcome test to see the effect of learning outcomes after using the acrostic method. From this research, it shows that the score of the results of writing poetry has increased and is included in the good category (86.54). From the calculation of the correlation coefficient, the price (727.83 > 0.361) means that there is an influence of the Acrostic Learning Method on the Ability to Write Poetry in Grade VIII Students of SMP Al-Wasliyah 24 Medan in the 2017-2018 Academic Year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the religious values ​​contained in the novel Kerudung Di Titik Api by Moch Taufik Hidayahtullah. This novel tells the story of a girl named Cassandra who is educated as a pilgrim graduate from a well-known university in this country. Coming from a family background that thinks God is not a game of options to choose which religion is the best in knowing Him. In the span of time Cassandra reached maturity at the age of two heads, subconscious impulses led her attention to the hijab. He considers this a supernatural invitation that cannot be explained logically and rationally, but the veil in the vortex of Cassandra's life becomes a disaster that throws her into a world of urgency and makes her suffocated by various dialectics. This research uses descriptive analysis method. This method is done by describing the facts which are then followed by analysis. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative because the data requires descriptive explanation. As for this study, the researcher analyzes and discusses the religious values ​​contained in the novel Kerudung Di Titik Api by Moch. Taufik Hidayahtullah the values ​​of faith related to one's belief in Allah SWT, morality related to one's behavior or temperament, and worship related to the relationship that exists between a human being and Allah SWT. Data collection is done by reading and note-taking techniques. From the results of this study, it can be determined that religious values ​​are in the form of values ​​of faith, morals and worship. The values ​​contained in the novel Kerudung Di Titik Api by Moch. Taufik Hidayatullah, namely aqidah there are 21 quotes, morality there are 13 quotes, worship there are 16 quotes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the elements of deixis in the literary work of the novel contained in the novel Maryam by Okky Madasari. This research focuses on finding the elements of place deixis, time deixis, and social deixis in Okky Madasari's Maryam novel. The main problem under study is to reveal the types and forms of deixis in detail in pragmatic studies. In this study, qualitative research methods are used, namely in the form of describing sentences resulting from data analysis in the form of sentences in novel conversations that have been analyzed in deixis elements. The results of this study found 184 deixis data consisting of 57 place deixis, 50 time deixis, and 77 social deixis. Examples of deixis words found are place deixis such as: there, this island, this village, in a big city and in front, then time deixis such as: now, then, later, long ago and yesterday, and social deixis such as: People Outside, Ahmadi, Imam, Merarig, and Pak Haji.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the government sector has become an urgent necessity to achieve transparent and accountable financial governance, in line with increasing public demands for public information disclosure and the implementation of good governance principles. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the implementation of E-Budgeting systems in enhancing public financial transparency and accountability at the Communication and Information Department of Padang City, focusing on identifying implementation processes, evaluating the contributions to transparency, analyzing the effects on accountability, and identifying constraints along with management strategies. The research employs a qualitative approach with an instrumental case study design involving methodological triangulation through semi-structured in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data analysis is conducted using Braun and Clarke's six-phase inductive thematic analysis. Findings demonstrate that the phased implementation of E-Budgeting, with comprehensive system integration, has successfully improved budgeting process efficiency from 2-3 weeks to 3-5 working days, provided real-time information access to stakeholders, and created digital audit trails that strengthen transparency and accountability. The research offers practical implications for local governments to adopt holistic implementation models in digitalizing financial management while contributing theoretically to the development of effective e-government implementation frameworks in developing countries.
