Abstract

This study aims to conceptually analyze the integration of interactive digital media in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning, focusing on the use of Canva as an innovative learning medium. The background of this study stems from the low interest and participation of students due to the dominance of conventional methods that are less interactive, as well as the lack of research on how digital media such as Canva can be effectively integrated into Islamic-based learning. Using a qualitative approach through conceptual literature review, this study analyzes various scientific sources from academic databases (Google Scholar, DOAJ, ScienceDirect) with inclusion criteria of pedagogical relevance and exclusion of non-educational technical publications, then analyzed thematically to identify conceptual patterns and pedagogical implications. The results show that Canva has great potential to improve the effectiveness of SKI learning through concept visualization, digital project collaboration, and spiritual value integration, while also developing 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and creativity. The implications are that teachers need to improve their digital literacy and innovative pedagogy, the curriculum needs to accommodate value-based interactive media, and policymakers need to strengthen infrastructure support and educational technology training. However, this study is limited to conceptual analysis without empirical data, so further studies are recommended to quantitatively and qualitatively test the effectiveness of using Canva on learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and internalization of Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of student perception and academic self-efficacy on disorientation in economics learning among class XI IPS students of MAN Kota Mojokerto. Disorientation in learning, characterized by confusion, loss of learning direction, and unclear learning objectives, is a significant issue that impacts students' low motivation and academic achievement. This study uses a quantitative explanatory approach with a sample of 80 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a closed Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out through classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of the two independent variables on disorientation in economics learning. The results showed that academic self-efficacy had a negative and significant effect on disorientation in learning (0.005, which is less than (p < 0.05), which means that the higher the academic self-efficacy, the lower the level of disorientation experienced by students. Conversely, student perception did not have a significant effect on disorientation in learning (0.922, which is greater than (p > 0.05). These findings indicate that internal factors, such as self-confidence, play a stronger role in determining the direction and clarity of students' learning goals. This study concludes that strengthening academic self-efficacy is essential to reduce disorientation and increase the effectiveness of economics learning.

Abstract

Critical and creative thinking skills are very important in supporting a meaningful learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Unfortunately, one-way learning methods are still commonly found that do not encourage students' active involvement. The purpose of this research is to find out how the cooperative learning model can train students' critical and creative thinking skills in Islamic Education subjects, as well as its contribution in creating active, participatory, and meaningful learning in value. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data sources were obtained from scientific literatures such as books, journals, articles, previous research results, and other documents relevant to the topic of PAI learning and cooperative learning.  This research discusses the use of cooperative learning model as a strategy to improve both abilities. The results show that cooperative learning can encourage students to actively discuss, think analytically, and develop new ideas. Thus, Cooperative Learning can be an innovative alternative in learning PAI that is more interactive and effective.
