Abstract

This qualitative case study investigates the moderating role of student curiosity in enhancing Pancasila learning outcomes through a Reward Management-Based Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model in second grade. The research addresses the persistent challenge of low learning outcomes in the subject due to conventional teaching methods that limit student engagement. Aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum's emphasis on deep learning and holistic development , the study employed a qualitative methodology with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Findings reveal that the STAD model's structured implementation effectively transformed the learning environment, with both teachers and students reporting overwhelmingly positive experiences. Crucially, the reward management system was found to be a significant moderator that leveraged the students’ psychological need for recognition to foster a dynamic learning process. The study concludes that this synergy between the model, rewards, and curiosity is essential for achieving deeper, more meaningful learning in line with curriculum goals.

Abstract

This study investigated the moderating role of self-efficacy in the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model, supported by GI Worksheets, on the critical thinking skills of Grade 6 students. A quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design was employed, involving 30 students. The findings revealed that while the Guided Inquiry model significantly improved critical thinking (β = 3.10, p < 0.05), this effect was moderated by self-efficacy (β = 0.42, p < 0.05). Students with high self-efficacy demonstrated substantially greater gains in critical thinking than their low self-efficacy peers. This suggests that the effectiveness of inquiry-based learning is contingent upon students' self-belief and psychological readiness. The study underscores the importance of fostering self-efficacy alongside the implementation of effective instructional models to optimize cognitive development in elementary science education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS bidang ekonomi terkhusus pada materi pasar modal seringkali dianggap sebagai pembelajaran yang sulit dan kompleks untuk dipahami siswa sehingga menimbulkan kebosanan pada siswa. Untuk itu peneliti tertarik untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang menjadi solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi pada materi pasar modal yang valid dan praktis dan menganalisis  efektivitas media pembelajaran video animasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan literasi keuangan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah  research and development (R&D) dengan model 4-P yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu Pendefinisian, Perancangan, Pengembangan, dan Penyebaran. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang terdiri 12 kelas. Sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol ditetapkan dengan teknik random sampling sederhana dari pasangan kelas yang setara berdasarkan hasil uji kesetaraan kelas yang dilakukan sebelumnya. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket dan tes dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran video animasi yang dikembangkan memiliki kevalidan  tinggi dari segi tampilan media, kevalidan tinggi dari segi materi dan tergolong kevalidan tinggi dari segi kebahasaan. Kepraktisan produk media pembelajaran video animasi tergolong sangat praktis sebagai media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dengan nilai sebesar 72,63% dan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan siswa  ditunjukkan oleh skor N-gain ternormalisasi di kelas eksperimen sebanyak 0,54 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan guru dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran video animasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan literasi keuangan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing character education values through Civic Education learning in the digital era, focusing on strategies and multidimensional collaboration in the school environment. The background of this research lies in the growing challenges of moral degradation and the decline of students’ social awareness due to excessive digital exposure. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation in a junior high school context. The findings indicate that teachers play a central role in integrating character values by combining digital learning platforms with contextual moral instruction. The use of digital media such as interactive videos, online discussions, and collaborative projects enhances students’ participation and strengthens their understanding of civic and ethical responsibilities. However, the study also found obstacles such as limited digital literacy among teachers and the inconsistent implementation of value-based learning. It is concluded that effective internalization of character education in the digital era requires synergy between teachers, parents, and the educational community supported by strong digital competence and moral guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the character values contained in the Rokat Tase’ tradition and its relevance for strengthening character education in coastal communities of Madura. This research is based on the limited integration of local wisdom traditions into formal character education, particularly in coastal areas. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using PRISMA guidelines by identifying, selecting, and analyzing seven relevant empirical studies published between 2019 and 2024. Data were analyzed thematically to identify dominant character values and their educational implications. The results show that the Rokat Tase’ tradition reflects important character values, including religiosity, social solidarity, responsibility, environmental awareness, and cultural identity. These values are developed through collective rituals, social interaction, environmental practices, and intergenerational cultural transmission. Furthermore, the identified values are consistent with the objectives of character education and the Pancasila Student Profile, especially for students living in coastal and maritime environments. In conclusion, the integration of Rokat Tase’ into learning activities can be effectively implemented through contextual learning approaches, project-based learning, experiential learning, and value clarification techniques, making character education more meaningful and culturally relevant.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the film Two Blue Lines can be optimized as a sex education medium to form honest characters in adolescents. Lack of knowledge about sexuality makes adolescents vulnerable to risky behaviors such as premarital sexual relations and early marriage. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subjects of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that the film Two Blue Lines is able to attract students' interest, provide a new understanding of the risks of sexual behavior, and instill the value of honesty through story conflicts that are close to their lives. The discussion after the screening encourages students to have the courage to speak their minds and understand the importance of honesty. Thus, the optimization of film media can be an alternative learning strategy that is interesting, contextual, and supports character education and sex education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model as a strategy to increase students' learning motivation in Pancasila Education subjects. The background of this research is the low motivation of students to learn, which can be seen through observations in class VII B of SMP Negeri 1 Seririt. Snowball Throwing is a cooperative learning model that emphasizes interaction between students in composing and throwing questions in an active and fun learning atmosphere. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with implementation case study design, as well as data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and field notes. The results of the study show that the application of this model is able to increase students' motivation to learn which is shown through increased activeness, courage to ask and answer, and involvement in group discussions. The change in motivation that occurs is profound, showing the transition from extrinsic motivation to intrinsic motivation. This method succeeded in creating a psychologically safe learning environment and changed students' perceptions from viewing learning as a boring (teacher-centered) activity to an interactive and dynamic activity. Thus, Snowball Throwing is considered effective to be applied as an innovative strategy in increasing student learning motivation, especially in learning Pancasila Education.

Abstract

Abstrak Peraturan Gubernur Bali Nomor 1545 Tahun 2019 tentang Krama Bali (KB Bali) diterbitkan sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian budaya dan penguatan identitas lokal masyarakat Bali. Kebijakan ini mendorong penduduk non-pribumi yang telah lama tinggal di Bali untuk menjadi bagian dari masyarakat adat melalui mekanisme KB Bali. Di satu sisi, peraturan ini dinilai sebagai langkah positif untuk melestarikan budaya dan memperkuat hubungan sosial di tengah arus migrasi yang tinggi. Namun, di sisi lain, terdapat sejumlah kritik terkait inklusivitas, potensi diskriminasi, dan relevansi kebijakan ini dengan realitas Bali yang semakin padat dan urban. Artikel ini membahas berbagai pandangan pro dan kontra terhadap kebijakan keluarga berencana Bali dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur dan opini publik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun tujuan kebijakan ini berakar pada pelestarian budaya, perlu dilakukan evaluasi lebih lanjut terhadap implementasinya di lapangan agar tidak memperkuat eksklusivitas sosial di tengah kebutuhan integrasi masyarakat yang heterogen di Bali.  Kata kunci: Krama Bali, Peraturan Gubernur Bali, kepadatan penduduk, budaya lokal, migrasi, integrasi sosial

Abstract

The Karya Lilitan Ceremony is a sacred ritual that plays a central role in the spiritual, social, and ecological life of the Catur community of Dalem Tamblingan Traditional Village, Bali. This ritual is not merely a religious practice, but also functions as a cultural mechanism for preserving local values, strengthening social cohesion, and maintaining cosmic balance between humans, nature, and ancestral spirits, as reflected in the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana. This study aims to describe the meaning, stages, and socio-ecological functions of the Karya Lilitan Ceremony within the customary institutional structure of the community, with particular attention to the role of the Gama Tirta Charter, which venerates water as a source of life and a sacred spiritual medium. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review, participatory observation, and semi-structured interviews with traditional leaders, temple custodians, and customary institution representatives. The findings indicate that the Karya Lilitan Ceremony serves as an effective cultural mechanism for maintaining collective identity, strengthening intergenerational social solidarity, and enhancing ecological awareness among indigenous communities. The active involvement of all community members throughout the extended ritual process demonstrates a strong integration of spirituality, customary governance, and environmental conservation based on local wisdom. Thus, the Karya Lilitan Ceremony represents not only a form of religious heritage but also a sustainable socio-ecological model rooted in indigenous cultural traditions. Abstract

This study aims to analyze law enforcement efforts against cockfighting gambling (Tajen) in Banyuning Village, Singaraja District, Buleleng Regency, and the obstacles encountered. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, primary data were collected through interviews with police officers, village officials, community leaders, and related actors. The results indicate that the Buleleng Police Resort has implemented preemptive, preventive, and repressive measures, but their effectiveness remains limited. Preemptive efforts through community education by Bhabinkamtibmas are not systematic, preventive patrols struggle to reach arenas located in narrow alleys, and repressive actions are influenced by reactive attitudes and discretionary decisions without the prosecution of key actors. Law enforcement obstacles are shaped by internal factors, such as a police organizational culture that tends to wait for reports, and external factors, including community economic dependence on Tajen, environmental conditions that facilitate offenders, and cultural beliefs that blur the line between rituals and gambling. This study recommends strengthening synergy among stakeholders, enhancing patrols in vulnerable areas, and improving environmental management and customary norms to reinforce law enforcement.
