Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of digital literacy tools in the implementation of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) learning for the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The type of research used in this research is development (Development research) which aims to produce a product. The development research procedure used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection technique used in this research is a non-test instrument consisting of instrument validation sheets, feasibility sheets, effectiveness and usability of devices, interview sheets, observation sheets. Data analysis techniques are used to determine the feasibility, usefulness, and effectiveness of digital literacy tools. The research results of the digital literacy tools developed are very valid and reliable, so they are suitable for use in STEAM learning for implementing the independent curriculum for children aged 5-6 years. The digital literacy tools in STEAM learning that were developed are effective for use with children aged 5-6 years in the very high category. The digital literacy tools in STEAM learning that were developed are included in the very practical category based on the learning implementation observation sheet and teacher questionnaire.

Abstract

Lokasi Rawa Kalibayem terletak di Kalurahan  Ngestiharjo, Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul. Tempat ini memiliki potensi wisata dan nilai sejarah yang besar di mana Rawa Kalibayem pernah menjadi tempat uji coba kapal selam pertama milik Indonesia pada tahun 1947-1948. Apabila ditata serta dikelola  dengan baik, Rawa Kalibayem dapat menjadi ruang publik yang nyaman bagi masyarakat sekaligus sebagai destinasi wisata baru di Kabupaten Bantul. Potensi Rawa Kalibayem sangat besar apabila masyarakat dapat bekerjasama dan mampu memberdayakan kemampuannya dengan pengelolaan Rawa Kalibayem yang sehat dan baik. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisai dan pendampingan partispasi aktif dengan masyarakat. Hasil pengabdian ini ditemukan fakta di lapangan bahwa kondisi sosial masyarakat masih kurang sadar akan pelestarian dan pengembangan kawasan wisata Rawa Kalibayem.  Kondisi lokasi yang kurang terawat seperti banyaknya sampah dan enceng gondok menandakan area Rawa Kalibayem masih belum dioptimalkan untuk wisata masyarakat. Selain itu kurangnya koordinasi antara warga sekitar dengan pemerintah desa menyebabkan tidak berkembangnya pengelolaan area wisata ini. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat  mengenai menejemen pengelolaan desa wisata berbasis edukasi, sejarah dan budaya kepada masyarakat di Kalurahan Ngestiharjo, Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul dengan melibatkan berbagai elemen seperti pihak Kalurahan, Pokdarwis dan masyarakat setempat. Keterbatasan waktu dalam pengabdian ini memberikan masukan untuk dilakukan tindaklanjut dengan fokus pada pendampingan pengembangan wisata Pendidikan dan Kesejarahan serta melakukan rekonstruksi Kembali narasi sejarah Rawa Kalibayem. Kata kunci: Pendampingan, Wisata, Pendidikan, Kesejarahan, Rawa Kalibayem

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan buku cerita bergambar terhadap nilai karakter mandiri pada anak Kelompok B di TK Lisa Nuraeni Lenek Duren, Kecamatan Lenek, Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada nilai karakter mandiri anak setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan buku cerita bergambar. Skor rata-rata nilai karakter mandiri meningkat dari 55,47 pada tahap pretest menjadi 83,05 pada tahap ”posttest”. Peningkatan ini mencakup kemampuan anak dalam mengemukakan pendapat, menceritakan kembali cerita, merapikan barang-barang pribadi, menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri, berbagi, mengendalikan emosi, dan berinteraksi sosial. Uji hipotesis mengonfirmasi bahwa penggunaan buku cerita bergambar memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan nilai karakter mandiri anak. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test juga mengonfirmasi adanya pengaruh signifikan dari media pembelajaran buku cerita bergambar terhadap peningkatan nilai karakter mandiri anak, sehingga nilai thitung> ttabel dengan nilai signifikasi 5% = hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, artinya media buku cerita bergambar berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan Nilai Karakter Mandiri pada anak Kelompok B TK Lisa Nuraeni Lenek Duren..

Abstract

Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan latar belakang budaya peserta didik yang ada. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada matapembelajaran IPAS kelas VI Sekolah Dasar dengan mengimplementasikan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) berbantuan proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan latar belakang budaya peserta didik yang ada. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SDN 19 Mtaram yang berjumlah 22 siswa dengan di dominasi 18 siwa dan 4 siswi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam siklus I ke siklus II dari rata-rata keaktifan 56,96% meningkat menjadi 62,29% meningkat sebesar 2,33% serta peningkatan keaktifan pada siklus III menjadi 86,46 yang meningkat sebesar 17,17%. Hasil ini menunjukkan jika implementasi pendekatan CRT berbantuan proyek dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kels VI Sekolah Dasar pada mata pelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

This study aimed to characterize physicochemical properties of biochar generated from coffee husks and assess its efficacy in the removal of chromium (Cr) from acid mine drainage (AMD) using a constructed wetland system. The biochar was made through pyrolysis and then chemically activated with H?PO? and KOH to enhance its adsorption. Characterization results showed increased surface area and porosity, and that functional groups such –OH, –COOH, and C=O were present, which are good for metal binding. In the experiment, 5 g of biochar (T2) reduced the amount of Cr from 59.53 ppm to 4.47 ppm in 12 days, which was better than other amounts of biochar applied. The study observed significant reductions in sulfate content and improvements in pH. The sulfate levels in T2 went down from 176.78 mg/L to 81.60 mg/L, while the pH increased from below 3 to 6.85. This shows that the acid was neutralized well. These improvements show that biochar not only absorbs contaminants but also lowers the acidity of AMD. The addition of mangrove sediment also enhanced the remediation process by using ion exchange, complexation, and microbial activity, especially from sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB). The results show that coffee husk biochar, especially when combined with mangrove sediment, is a sustainable and eco-friendly material for treating heavy metal-contaminated acidic wastewater.

Abstract

This study examines the role of local wisdom of the Dana Mbojo community in climate change mitigation, focusing on the Parafu system (customary land management patterns) and Pamali practices (customary prohibitions related to environmental conservation). The urgency of this research lies in the need for a culturally based approach to strengthen climate change mitigation strategies that have been dominated by technocratic approaches. This study aims to identify and analyze the contribution of the Parafu system and Pamali practices to forest, water, and soil conservation, and assess their relevance in the context of climate change adaptation. The study used mixed methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with 25 traditional and community leaders, field observations in three traditional villages, and the distribution of questionnaires to 150 respondents, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the Parafu system contributed to a decrease in deforestation rates by 18.3% in the last five years, while Pamali practices were effective in reducing land burning activities by up to 27.6% compared to non-customary areas (p=0.003). Eighty-four percent of respondents stated that the application of customary values ​​can maintain the balance of local ecosystems, and 76% stated that customary law is more adhered to than formal government regulations. The local wisdom of Dana Mbojo, through the Parafu system and Pamali practices, has great potential for climate change mitigation, particularly through social control mechanisms, value-based conservation, and sustainable spatial use. Integrating local values ​​into climate mitigation policies at the regional and national levels is a strategic step that needs to be implemented immediately.

Abstract

The use of technology-based media in early childhood literacy learning remains limited, necessitating innovative approaches that support engaging and effective learning processes. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility and effectiveness of a Wordwall-based educational game in improving the literacy skills of Group B children. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and was conducted at PAUD Al-Hijrah, West Lombok, involving 18 Group B children as subjects. The research steps included needs analysis, media design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. Data collection techniques involved observation, expert validation questionnaires (media and content), and literacy tests. Validation results indicated that the media was highly feasible, with scores of 100% from media experts and 95% from content experts. Effectiveness testing showed an increase in the average score from 72.31 to 93.08, with an N-Gain score of 0.78, categorized as high. The literacy indicator with the highest improvement was recognizing the initial letter of object names, identifying letter symbols, and understanding the relationship between letter sounds and their written forms. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Wordwall educational game is effective and feasible for enhancing literacy skills in Group B.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental one group pretest–posttest design tanpa pengacakan subjek. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 anak usia 5–6 tahun yang terbagi ke dalam dua kelompok perlakuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji F dengan bantuan SPSS pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dan PjBL masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak (p < 0,05) dengan besaran effect size kategori sedang hingga tinggi, yang menunjukkan pengaruh praktis yang bermakna. Selain itu, hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa PBL dan PjBL secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun. Dengan demikian, penerapan PBL dan PjBL terbukti signifikan secara statistik dan efektif secara praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak usia dini di satuan PAUD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) melalui kegiatan pembuatan ecoprint teknik pounding dalam membangun kreativitas, motorik halus, dan kemampuan menghasilkan produk kreatif anak kelompok B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di enam lembaga PAUD di enam kecamatan di Kota Mataram dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 87 anak kelompok B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas anak berkembang baik pada aspek sikap, seperti rasa ingin tahu, kegigihan, dan disiplin, yang mayoritas mencapai kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Namun, pada aspek berpikir divergen anak masih berada pada kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB) hingga Sedang Berkembang (SB) akibat keterbatasan variasi media. Perkembangan motorik halus menunjukkan kemajuan pada koordinasi neuromuskular dan kontrol kekuatan otot jari melalui teknik pounding, dengan indikator meniru bentuk dan ekspresi gerak yang mayoritas mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Produk kreatif yang dihasilkan anak menunjukkan tingkat kemandirian yang tinggi, dengan 79 anak mencapai kategori BSH hingga BSB. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat praktik PjBL di PAUD melalui integrasi ecoprint sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis alam yang menstimulasi berbagai aspek perkembangan anak secara holistik.
