Abstract

Samsat Warung Kopi is the newest innovation product from the Lhoksemawe Samsat Service in 2021 with the aim of making the vehicle tax payment process fast, easy and in a pleasant atmosphere for people who want to pay taxes. The aim of this research is to determine the quality of Samsat warung kopi’s services on the satisfacation of the people of lhokseumawe. The data used is primary data in the form of a questionnaire results distributed to 59 respondents. The results of the analysis show that Samsat Warung Kopi's services in paying vehicle tax is considered to be very good (81.09%). Community satisfaction with the quality of Samsat Warung Kopi's services in paying vehicle tax is rated as Very Good (83.67%). Regression Value Y = 17,222+ 0.893X. dan based on the results of the hypothesis test, it was concluded that that samsat warung kopi’s services had a very significant effect on community satisfaction. The percentage of influence of the coffee shop vehicle tax payment service on Lhokseumawe community satisfaction was 0.239 or 23.9% and the remainder was influenced by variables not included in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate governance, firm performance, and firm characteristics on earning management (EM). The data used in this study are secondary data, that is financial statements of non-financial companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in period 2010-2021 with a total sampel of 116 companies. Using multiple linear regression analysis pooled least square method, moderated regression analysis, and sub-group regressions prove that institutional ownership and board size as proxies for corporate governance affect earnings management practices (EM). Financial performance, which is proxied by return on assets (ROA) and sales growth (SGR) has a significant effect on EM. Through the moderation test, firm size (SIZE) as pure moderation. SIZE only perfoms as a moderator not as an independent variable that effects the relationship between board size (BZISE) and EM. In this study, profitability is the most dominant factor in determining EM. This study can provide useful information for shareholders and regulators in evaluating corporate governance attributes, financial performance and company characteristics that are effective in reducing EM practices. This study also contributes to the existing literature regarding EM practices, especially in non-financial companies listed on the IDX

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between technological innovation, business decision-making, and sustainability in the context of Society 5.0. Mixed methods approaches are used to gain a deep and diverse understanding of these complex interactions. The data collection was done through online surveys and in-depth interviews. Quantitative analysis uses regression to examine the relationship between technological innovation adoption and sustainable business decision-making. Qualitative analysis was performed using a thematic approach to interview transcripts. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant correlation between the level of technological innovation adoption and the effectiveness of sustainable business decision-making. Qualitative results reveal stakeholder views on the impact of technological innovation on business implementation and decision-making challenges. The conclusion of this study highlights the important role of technological innovation in achieving sustainable business goals, providing guidance for the development of adaptive business strategies in an age of technological change and society.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to seek information about the factors causing code switching and code mixing in the post-pandemic learning process of the Indonesian language in class XII Social Sciences at SMA YP Unila. This study uses a descriptive approach. The data collected are in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. This research leads to an in-depth description of the meaning, clarification, and placement of data in their respective contexts and describes them in the form of words from numbers. The total code-switching in learning interactions is one-word data, two phrases, and five sentences; this shows that students' and teachers' interest in code-switching in both classes is shallow. As in code-switching, the form of code mixing in its interaction is divided into internal code-mixing and external code-mixing. In internal code-mixing, the language used is the insertion of Javanese in Indonesian sentences. Meanwhile, in external code-mixing, the language used is the insertion of English and Arabic in the interaction of Indonesian language learning. The implication aims to make it easier for teachers and students to understand word insertion during learning interactions and quickly understand what other people say when communicating. Keywords: Code-Switching, Code-Mixing, Indonesian Learning

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correspondence between expectations and realization in financial services based on the dimensions of services provided at Sharia Commercial Banks and this research was specifically carried out at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kualasimpang City Branch Office. The data used is primary data sourced from 100 research respondents at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kualasimpang City Branch Office. The data analysis method uses quantitative methods with difference test analysis and Cartesian diagrams. The research results showed that there was a difference between expectations or in this case the customer's expectations and the realization or in this case the performance of the Indonesian Syariah Bank Kualasimpang City Branch Office with a value of 405,000>403.4211. Based on the Cartesian diagram, it is known that the customer's expectations and the bank's realization (performance) are in quadrant III and quadrant IV. In quadrant III, it can be seen that it contains factors that are considered less important by customers and in fact their performance is not very special. Then in quadrant II, there are factors that are considered important by customers and are in accordance with what they feel so that the level of satisfaction is relatively higher. Therefore, the attributes included in this quadrant must be maintained.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of several factors that are seen as influencing people's behavior in managing finances, with intention as an intervening variable. Independent variables include financial literacy, financial attitudes, and sources of income. The research location was in Yusuf Hasyem Hamlet, Gampong Tengoh - Langsa City, with 100 households as respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis, t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination and Sobel test. The results of the multiple linear regression show that financial literacy, financial attitudes, and identified intentions have a positive effect on people's financial management behavior; while the source of income has a negative effect on financial management behavior. Based on the results of the t-test, it is proven that financial literacy has no significant effect on financial management behavior; but on financial attitudes, sources of income and intentions proved to have a significant effect on financial management behavior. The results of the F-test show that financial literacy, financial attitudes, sources of income and intentions simultaneously have a significant effect on financial management behavior. Based on the results of the Sobel test, it was found that intention was not able to mediate financial literacy and income sources on financial management behavior, but was able to mediate financial attitudes towards financial management behavior. The results of the coefficient of determination of financial literacy, financial attitudes, sources of income and intention to contribute 20.8% while the remaining 79.2% are influenced by other variables not examined by this study.

Abstract

This research aims to predict stock return using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) method on stocks listed in the Compass100 Index for the period 2017-2021. This research population is companies listed in the Compass Index100 period February s.d July 2017. Sampling techniques with purposive sampling and obtained samples of 56 companies consistently listed in the Kompas100 Index period 2017-2021. This research is done by selecting efficient stocks. This study resulted that between beta and expected return there is an inverse relative relationship, so where the beta value is high then the share return rate will be low, as well as vice versa. Out of the 56 companies included in the survey, 31 are in efficient conditions and the remaining 25 are in inefficient conditions from 2017-2021. As for some factors that determine the classification is by comparing between Ri and E(Ri), if Ri > E(Ri) then the shares will be grouped into effective shares (undervalued) but instead if Ri < E(Ri) then those shares are grouped in ineffective shares. (overvalued). And if the results of the E(Ri) analysis show that the stock is efficient, then it is best for investors to buy or hold the stock to be used as an investment portfolio.

Abstract

Population growth and development can lead to excesses for the emergence of slum areas, which are often seen as a potential problem in urban areas. To reduce the problems of housing and slum areas, one of the government programs is the City Without Slum (in Indonesia called KOTAKU) program. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the program in Langsa City and identify the inhibiting factors of this program. 166 respondents were all village chiefs in Langsa City, community members who were directly or indirectly involved in the program, as well as other stakeholders. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire. The effectiveness evaluation is calculated using the mean value as a percentage of each indicator. The results found that the KOTAKU program was considered effective as an effort to reduce slum settlements in Langsa City. However, several factors were identified that were the main obstacles in the implementation of the program.

Abstract

Perusahaan properti dan konstruksi merupakan sektor perusahaan yang mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, menjalankan proyek-proyek yang sedang berjalan, terutama ketika Indonesia sedang aktif membangun infrastruktur negara. Menurut para analis, perusahaan properti dan konstruksi memiliki potensi kinerja keungan yang lebih baik di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel fundamental pada perusahaan properti dan konstruksi. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan 8 perusahaan properti dan konstruksi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis rasio keuangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis rasio keuangan didapatkan hasil bahwa likuiditas dengan menggunakan Current Ratio dan Cash Ratio bahwa perusahaan memiliki kinerja keuangan yang baik karena mampu untuk melunasi kewajibannya pada saat jatuh tempo dengan aktiva yang dimilikinya. Perusahaan dianggap tidak akan mengalami kesulitan keuangan dan mampu melunasi seluruh kewajibannya pada saat kewajiban tersebut jatuh tempo. Solvabilitas dengan mengguankan Debt Ratio dan Debt Equity Ratio didaptkan hasil secara kesuluruhan perushaan masih bergantung terhadap modal asing untuk membiayai aktivitas bisnisnya dibandingkan dengan kemampuan dari perusahaan sendiri. Profitabilitas dengan menggunakan Return On Asset Ratio dan Net Profit Margin didapatkan hasil bahwa perusahaan masih belum mampu menghasilkan profit dari aktiva perusahaan ataupun aktivitas bisnisnya.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify and describe the character education contained in the story of Origins of Lampung. By utilizing the Lampung Origin Story as a source of research data, a qualitative descriptive methodology was used. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. Based on the analysis of the Lampung Origin story, six values of character education have been identified. Tolerance, independence, curiosity, friendly or communicative, social care, and responsibility are the values of character education. These values are the basis for the idea that folklore is not only used to introduce stories that were believed by the ancestors, but also can be used as a means of character education.
