Abstract

The background to this research is the low participation of residents in the package B equality learning program at SPNF-SKB Region II Padang City. One of the suspected causes is that classroom conditions are less conducive for residents taking part in the program. The aim of this research is to see an overview of the classroom climate in package B equality learning at SPNF-SKB Region II Padang City. We also want to see a picture of student participation in package B equality. Apart from that, we want to know the relationship between classroom climate and learning participation in package B equality in SPNF-SKB Region II Padang City. In this research, a quantitative approach was used to carry out correlational analysis. In this research, the population studied was 72 people who were citizens studying package B equality in SPNF-SKB Region II Padang City. At the same time, the sampling technique used was stratified random sampling with a proportion of 50% (36). Data collection technique employs the distribution of questionnaires directly to the respondents. Percentage and product moment formulas are used in data analysis techniques. From the research conducted, it was found that the classroom conditions of students who used package B in studying equality were classified as unsupportive, and citizen participation in studying equality in package B tended to be low. Apart from that, there is a significant relationship between class conditions and student participation in package B equality learning at SPNF-SKB Region II Padang City. Tutor research findings suggest that the class atmosphere in Package B learning can be improved. Keywords: Clasroom Clite,, Participation, Learning Cittiziens

Abstract

Recitation is an activity carried out by a number of individuals to gain religious knowledge and good morals or attitudes. The religious attitudes seen among the people in Jorong Teluk Sikai are still relatively low. This is thought to be because there are people who take part in the recitation and there are also people who do not take part in the recitation. This research aims to: (1) describe the religious attitudes of the people who attend the recitation, (2) describe the religious attitudes of the people who do not attend the recitation, and (3) determine whether or not there are differences in the religious attitudes of people who do and do not attend the recitation in Jorong Teluk Sikai. This research is research that uses quantitative methods with a comparative type. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The research subjects were 30 people who took part in the recitation and 30 people who did not take part in the recitation. The data analysis technique uses hypothesis testing with t test analysis (independent sample t-test). The results of this research are: (1) the religious attitudes of people who take part in the recitation are classified as good, (2) the religious attitudes of people who do not take part in the recitation are classified as poor, and (3) there is a significant difference between the religious attitudes of people who do and do not take part in the recitation at Jorong Sikai. It is hoped that the community will always support recitation activities as a form of non-formal education in society so that it will form good religious attitudes in society.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a significant impact on the world of education, especially in the learning process. Information and Communication Technology (ICT), as part of science and technology (IPTEK), includes all technologies related to the retrieval, collection (acquisition), processing, storage, dissemination, and presentation of information. Even until the beginning of the 21st century, it is believed that the ICT field will continue to grow rapidly and has not shown signs of saturation for the next few decades. At the global level, the development of ICT has affected every aspect of human life. The integration of ICT into various fields of technology has reached such a level that there is not a single piece of equipment resulting from technological innovation that does not utilize ICT devices.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low independence of science learning of elementary school students. This research aims to determine the effect of the application of the Ethnoscience-Oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning independence of students in class IV Elementary School. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental. The study population was grade IV elementary school students in  Gugus IV Padang City T.A 2023/2024. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling obtained at SDN 28 Padang Sarai in class IVB as the experimental class and class IVA as the control class. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire instrument. Questionnaires are used to measure student learning independence in science learning for grade IV elementary school students. The data analysis technique in this study used an independent sample t test, Based on the results of the study, the results obtained: The significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then in accordance with the basis for decision making, it is found that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the learning independence of students in science learning is significantly high which is taught with the PBL Ethnoscience-Oriented learning model compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low levels of learning activities and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) among students in science education. The study aims to determine the impact of the RADEC learning model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) on the learning activities and HOTS of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research design used is experimental research with a Quasi-Experimental design that employs a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study's population comprises fourth-grade elementary school students, with class IVA selected as the experimental group and class IVB as the control group at SDN 09 Simpang Tigo, using simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study include questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires assess student learning activities, while tests evaluate students' HOTS. The study results revealed: (1) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Consequently, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, indicating that the RADEC learning model influences student learning activities in social studies in fourth-grade elementary schools. (2) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, demonstrating that the RADEC learning model has an impact on students' HOTS in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools. In conclusion, the study findings suggest that the RADEC learning model significantly influences students' learning activities and high-order thinking skills in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools.
