Abstract

This community service program addressed the problem of corn husk waste and limited economic opportunities for housewives in Nagari Lareh Nan Panjang, West Sumatra. Corn husks, usually discarded or burned, pose environmental challenges while holding potential as raw material for handicrafts. The activity aimed to empower young mothers by equipping them with practical skills to process corn husks into marketable products, thereby supporting household income and reducing waste. The method applied included a systematic approach consisting of needs assessment, community engagement, training, mentoring, and the formation of home industry groups. Training was conducted over four days, combining theoretical sessions and practical workshops on producing items such as tissue boxes, decorative flowers, and wall ornaments. Mentoring was provided to strengthen product quality, packaging, and digital marketing skills. The results showed significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, skills, and motivation. Abstract

In seeking knowledge it is impossible to be separated from a person's basic assumptions where of course there must be basic assumptions or assumptions about something. Assumptions can be interpreted as conjectures that are accepted as the basis or foundation for thinking because they are considered true, while assumptions in the philosophy of science are assumptions or basic suppositions about the reality of an object which become a study or foundation for the preparation of scientific knowledge needed in the development of science as well as in the process of giving information service. Because in the information service process a counselor needs rational and critical thinking as well as empirical knowledge and intuition so that the services provided can be received effectively. This type of research is a literature study by utilizing articles or journals related to basic scientific assumptions in the information service process.

Most people think that clients commit crimes because they lack religious and moral knowledge. So that the role of the counselor who carries out counseling must understand and understand how to guide clients and solve their problems based on religion by analyzing them ontologically. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collected in this study is using the documentation method. In this study, data analysis follows Miles & Huberman guidelines, namely data collection, data display, data reduction and conclusions. Someone with religious instincts will be aware of the concepts and conditions regarding the potential to know God. Religion can provide a sense of security, peace and happiness to every adherent. Happiness will activate the beta endorphins. The solution to every problem regarding the soul in religion, especially the Islamic religion, so that a healthy and positive soul is maintained is by going through everything that has become an obligation in following orders and avoiding oneself from the prohibitions that have been set by Allah SWT.

Abstract

Community Learning  Center (CLC) as one of the government's partners in educating people's lives through non-formal education service programs, it is hoped that CLC is not only able to grow a learning society (learning society), but also can improve their abilities and skills in dealing with socio-economic progress through entrepreneurship assistance activities which are one of the focuses of the purpose of the presence of CLC in the midst of the community. The facts on the ground show that CLC, especially in West Sumatra Province, has not been able to optimally become a community education institution that accommodates entrepreneurship-based activities for the community. Entrepreneurial activities carried out by CLC have not been able to create an entrepreneurial spirit and have not been able to maximally facilitate the marketing of CLC business products widely, which is still only local so that CLC entrepreneurial activities are underdeveloped and have not produced significant results. This study aims to see the optimization of entrepreneurship at the Community Learning Activity Center (CLC) through E- Commerce marketing. The results of the study show in fact the main obstacles in the lack of utilization of e-commerce by entrepreneurship activities today are; 1) There is still a lack of understanding of partners regarding E-Commerce; 2) Lack of partner expertise in creating online stores as a means of marketing; 3) Lack of use of smartphones as a marketing medium 4. Lack of partner expertise in operating online stores as a marketing tool

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low levels of learning activities and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) among students in science education. The study aims to determine the impact of the RADEC learning model (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) on the learning activities and HOTS of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research design used is experimental research with a Quasi-Experimental design that employs a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study's population comprises fourth-grade elementary school students, with class IVA selected as the experimental group and class IVB as the control group at SDN 09 Simpang Tigo, using simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study include questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires assess student learning activities, while tests evaluate students' HOTS. The study results revealed: (1) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Consequently, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, indicating that the RADEC learning model influences student learning activities in social studies in fourth-grade elementary schools. (2) The Sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, demonstrating that the RADEC learning model has an impact on students' HOTS in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools. In conclusion, the study findings suggest that the RADEC learning model significantly influences students' learning activities and high-order thinking skills in science education in fourth-grade elementary schools.
