Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam lagu-lagu tradisional Melayu Riau, yaitu "Mengayam," "Sayang Dendu," dan "Pucuk Pisang." Dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai utama seperti kerja keras, gotong royong, kasih sayang, dan kejujuran. Lagu-lagu ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media pendidikan karakter yang efektif untuk generasi muda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu-lagu tersebut mengandung pesan moral yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat Melayu dan berkontribusi pada pelestarian budaya lokal. Integrasi lagu tradisional dalam pembelajaran formal dan nonformal memiliki potensi besar untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan menjaga keberlanjutan warisan budaya

Abstract

This study departs from the phenomenon of dying the sacrificial animals before the day of slaughtering at Luhak Nan Tigo, a communal in West Sumatra, Luhak Tanah Datar, Luhak Limo Puluah and Luhak Agam. The death of the sacrificial animals before the day of slaughter certainly makes a problem between the Shohibul Kurbaan and the organizing committee to determine the status of ownership and legal an animal itself. The main issues of this paper at least talk about the regulation of the sacrificial animals at Luhak Nan Tigo and the form of settlement by related parties to the phenomenon. This study was analyzed with a qualitative descriptive model that began describing a phenomenon and then drew a concrete conclusion from various basic sharia laws regarding the status of animal ownership and the value of the sacrificial animals itself. The results of the study found that the process of collecting funds and purchasing the sacrificial animals in Luhak Nan Tigo which became one of the regulations in the view of Islamic law didn’t experience debate, ranging from age, ownership status, to the health of the sacrificial animals. However, the phenomenon of the death of this the sacrificial animals has various forms of settlement which are not regulated exclusively by Islamic law, so the solution found is one cow for more than seven people, replace together, two cows for three groups, and replacing one cow with two goats. The settlement is analyzed with Islamic legal sources and some forms of settlement can be said to be less relevant if viewed in terms of the value and essence of the sacrificial animal itself.

Abstract

Perairan laut Maluku yang merupakan bagian dari Wilayah Pengelolaan Perikanan (WPP) 715 memiliki tingkat biodiversitas tinggi dengan potensi perikanan yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat melalui aktivitas penangkapan ikan, dominan menggunakan alat tangkap hand line. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keanekaragaman hasil tangkapan alat tangkap hand line di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Ternate, berdasarkan data statistik tahun 2023. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan perhitungan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hand line mampu menangkap 34 jenis ikan dengan total produksi mencapai 1.570,42 ton. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H’) sebesar 2,61 mengindikasikan keanekaragaman sedang, mencerminkan keragaman spesies yang cukup baik namun selektivitas alat tangkap masih perlu diperhatikan. Tingkat keanekaragaman ini menunjukkan potensi diversifikasi usaha perikanan yang mendukung keberlanjutan ekonomi masyarakat sekaligus pengelolaan sumber daya laut secara bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Islamic values and local wisdom in the Maddoa tradition of Pinrang Regency, Indonesia. Maddoa', a communal prayer ritual, serves not only as a cultural heritage but also as a medium to strengthen collective religious identity and social cohesion. Despite modernization and shifts in the structure of society, these traditions remain important in shaping community interactions and spiritual life. Using a qualitative field research approach, this study seeks to understand in depth the practice and evolution of Maddoa' in contemporary society. This approach allows researchers to explore the social dynamics, symbolic meanings, and changes that occur in these traditions over time. To provide a comprehensive analysis, this study applies a sharia normative framework to examine the extent to which the practice of Maddoa' is in harmony with Islamic principles, both from the theological and legal aspects of Islam. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. These findings show that Maddoa' embodies a dynamic blend of Islamic teachings and customs, fostering a collective awareness of gratitude and devotion to Allah SWT. In practice, Maddoa' serves as a means to foster a collective awareness of gratitude and devotion to Allah SWT, strengthening the relationship between individuals and God and their society. More than just a prayer ritual, this tradition strengthens social ties by instilling the values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and concern between community members. In this context, Maddoa' is not only a cultural heritage, but also a symbol of harmony between local religions and traditions, creating a unique model of synergy in which Islamic values are not only accepted, but also adapted within a cultural framework that has been rooted for centuries.  In addition, this tradition also reflects a unique model of religious and cultural synergy. This study contributes to a broader discourse on religious acculturation and the sustainability of local traditions in the face of globalization.

Abstract

Metode talaqqi merupakan salah satu metode tradisional dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang masih digunakan di berbagai pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode talaqqi terhadap peningkatan maharah kalam (kemampuan berbicara) santri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, Mandiangin, Kabupaten Sarolangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode talaqqi secara signifikan meningkatkan kelancaran berbicara santri dalam bahasa Arab, terutama dalam aspek pelafalan, tata bahasa, dan kosakata. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan interaksi yang lebih luas dan adaptasi dengan metode modern. Oleh karena itu, metode ini sebaiknya dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan yang lebih interaktif untuk hasil yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Tourism and economic growth are connected in various ways, where tourism can contribute to regional economic development. The benefits of the tourism sector in economic growth are the creation of jobs for local people. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the number of foreign and domestic tourist visits (X1), unemployment (X2) and poverty (X3) to Jambi's economic growth (Y). The method used in this quantitative research was conducted with the time series 2012-2022 and the data source used was secondary data. From the data collected, the results of this study indicate that the number of tourists, poverty, and unemployment have an effect but are not significant on economic growth in Jambi Province

Abstract

Religious moderation is a concept that emphasizes a tolerant, fair, and balanced attitude in religious life, so that it is an important factor in maintaining social harmony in the school environment. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers have a strategic role in strengthening religious moderation through the learning process, example, and social interaction with students. This study aims to analyze the role of PAI teachers in strengthening religious moderation in schools and the strategies applied in building inclusive and tolerant attitudes among students. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that PAI teachers play a role as facilitators, motivators, and models in forming moderate religious understanding. The implementation of religious moderation values is carried out through integration in the curriculum, dialogical approach in learning, and extracurricular activities based on inclusivity. This research recommends strengthening teachers' capacity in teaching religious moderation as well as synergy with schools and the community in creating a harmonious and tolerant educational environment.

Abstract

This research is titled Fairy Tales of Kampar Regency In Ecological Literature Studies. Literature is closely related to the human environment, as well as folklore in Naga Beralih Village which is dominated by stories set in nature. This research seeks to analyze the ecological elements contained in the Kampar Regency Folklore. This research is descriptive qualitative with literary and folkloric ecological approach. The story studied was taken as a sample with consideration to represent the ecological background that exists in the collection of The Dragon Switch folklore. The results showed that ecological elements are inseparable from the lives of kampar people. This is illustrated from the ecological elements raised in his folklore. Based on the whole discussion conducted in the analysis section, it can be concluded that the fairy tale Naga Switch Kampar Society contains ecological literary concepts according to Garrard. The concept includes pollution, disasters, animals, and the earth. Fairy tales need good documentation so as not to become extinct or not recognized as belonging to other nations. Behind its simple form, fairy tales can teach many good things to form one's character including forming an environmentally caring character.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the performance of the Attention-Based Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) predictive model in rainfall prediction analysis in East Java, with a focus on including the application of the model in predicting complex time-series data. The main objective of this study is to create an efficient and accurate model and to emit the performance of the Attention-Based LSTM algorithm compared to conventional methods. The methodology used includes rainfall data collection, data preprocessing, Attention-Based LSTM model design, training models, and testing to assess accuracy. The results of the study indicate that the Attention-Based LSTM model is able to improve rainfall prediction compared to conventional methods, with the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) evaluation metrics with a value of 0.00807 and Mean Squared Error (MSE) with a value of 0.08987 which shows better results, so this model can be relied on for real-world applications.

Abstract

This study examines how the Maccera Manurung tradition in Labuku Village combines cultural practices with Islamic principles, focusing on its values. The primary goal of this study is to uncover and analyze the spiritual, social, and cultural values, specifically examining the impact on social cohesion and community structure. This study uses field research with descriptive qualitative models, considering normative, historical, phenomenological, and sociological perspectives. The findings reveal that Maccera Manurung functions as a mechanism to achieve social and spiritual well-being for the community by integrating Islamic values with local culture. This tradition maintains a balance between worldly and spiritual needs through rituals such as animal sacrifices following Islamic guidelines, visiting graves, and engaging in prayers. The people of Labuku preserve their cultural identity by participating in annual rituals, maintaining traditional customs, and upholding ancestral practices, which strengthen social solidarity and reinforce spiritual and moral values. Maccera Manurung emphasizes simplicity, self-control, and responsibility, serving as a means to draw closer to Allah and enhance the spiritual character of the community
